Jasper flagged him down immediately and introduced them very politely, which made Geralina feel kind of uncomfortable. Having her full name and job title given made her feel like she was meeting someone official, not just her friends best mate from work. She gave Leo a warm smile and an awkward wave. "Hey, it's nice to finally meet you," she said. Jas had talked about Leo before but she'd never actually had opportunity or reason to meet the guy until now. Ant didn’t ind so much, “Sure, mate.” He smiled, turning the sewers and making sure they all looked cooked enough. They were kind of brown on the outside so he figured that was good enough. If people got food poisoning then he’d just blame L-Man. “So many medals,” He boasted to Lola, using tongs to pass over the prawn skewers to Liam, “I even have a trophy.” He boasted. He did have a trophy, but not for barbecuing, he wondered if anyone had a trophy for barbecuing, surly it couldn’t be that hard of a thing to do. “Sure did!” He said, puffing out his chest, proudly, “I stood her, with the spatula, and voila.” He said waving his tonged hand over the remaining skewers on his side of the barbecue. Where was he supposed to put these now they were done?

Lunete was pretty good at making friends with people, just so long as they weren’t bigoted jerks, of course, and Sully was so easy to get along with, which she was surprised at given he was such a big celebrity in the Quidditch world. There probably wasn’t a quidditch fan alive that didn’t know his name or some of his classic moves. “These burgers are pretty amazing,” she agreed, “I’m a terrible cook, I can just about manage a bolognese, but beyond that, totally useless.” She took another bite of the burger, wishing she could talk and eat simultaneously.

“He wishes,” Jasper muttered to the pair of them, chuckling as Leo gave Geralina a warm greeting, although Jasper kind of wished that Leo didn’t make it sound as though he talked about Geralina constantly, it was a tad embarrassing. “NO!” Jasper had hugged Leo back, but at his fiend’s unexpected question, Jasper couldn’t help but get a little loud and pull away. Jasper laughed, trying to make it blow over, but he needed an excuse of some kind, “Leo wanted to know if,” Bollocks, he couldn’t think of anything, “If,” Out the corner of his eye her saw the pool, glistening, “I was going to skinny dip this year,” He laughed once, nervously, “No way, man.” He chuckled nervously again, was it too early to die of embarrassment?

Gabe was excited for Freya, she was going to be able to have a good time and really enjoy herself this time around. He followed her through the house to the bar and music. It was good Draconus, everyone liked a bit of Draconus, they were probably considered a classic these days, although Gabe wouldn’t have pegged Humbert as a Draconus fan, but then Gabe didn’t really know the guy too well. “Hi, Dorian,” He said, nodding his head, “Dorian’s friend.” He nodded his head to Dorian’s friend. Gabe looked at Felix and Kiki dancing for a moment but thought better than to interrupt the mood they were setting for one another, instead he followed his wife to be to the bar.

Oh Merlin, she hoped she wasn’t as much of an embarrassment in that other lifetime, she could hardly believe how much of a twit she was being right now in front of the incredibly handsome guy. He didn’t look much older than her, but Halley couldn’t recall ever seeing him at school. He asked for a hand and Halley stepped forward, although she had no idea how to help, she was just glad that she hadn’t started clapping, because that was where her mind had first gone when he'd asked for a hand. “Sure,” She said, bending to pick up a tub of ice cream.

Johnny brought up that she hadn’t been to see him in a while and Dorcas smirked, he was such a professional when she’d brought the cats in, but now he was playful and Dorcas liked that, “Well my other vet has so many more … perks,” She shrugged her shoulder, “A woman has needs.” Dorcas had all kinds of needs, but the Lestrange vet only looked after the animals, her own physical needs were met elsewhere. "Say, where can a woman with needs get a drink around here?" She asked, looking about, telling herself she couldn't be getting too drunk but who knew how she'd end up.
