It was awful. Lu really felt for Echo but she didn’t want to get too involved in the argument. She felt like there wasn’t much else she could do, though Echo looked as though she could probably do with a healer before she gave herself an aneurysm, but Merlin bless Ollie if he didn’t try and lighten the mood. “Trust you to be thinking about food right now.” She smiled, “Let me know if either of you want something. I’ll get you food or drinks, whatever.” She said, giving the pair a nod and some space, watching Dora get escorted into the house. She was just vile.

What in the hell was even happening? Lunete couldn’t just sit there and watch as Sully got up and jumped into the pool, fully clothed. Ollie had managed to seperate the girls and was pulling Echo down to the other end of the pool and Lunete got up and made her way towards the pair, throughly pissed that Dora had attacked Echo and would ruin such a nice afternoon all because what? She was drunk off her tits before even arriving? Ridiculous. Lunete grabbed a towel off the back of a chair but before she could get it to Echo, the blonde witch was trying to get out of Ollie’s hold and Lu didn’t blame her, she’d want to tear the bitch apart, too.

There was a loud bang from inside and another big splash in the pool but Lunete was out of reach so it didn’t bother her in the slightest, however an unsuspecting party guest got a but damp and acted as though it was the biggest crime against humanity. Lunete recognised the wet witch from school, Dora Parkinson, pureblood bitch extraordinaire, if Lunete recalled correctly. Lunete smirked a little, honestly, Sully had got splashed and brushed it off, but Lunete knew there was no way this witch would be brushing anything off.

Sully summoned his sisters drink and Lunete looked towards the doors, scooting her chair back a bit. She’d seen a fair few accidents involving flying glass and she’d not even been working at The Three Broomsticks for a year yet. “I once saw a guy throw a glass at another blokes face because he was adamant the guy had picked up his order, just completely smashed the glass all over this guy, cuts and blood everywhere.” She said absentmindedly, “Still less bloody than a good quidditch match.” She chuckled. "Have you ever been in any off-pitch scuffles with an opposing player?" She asked curiously. She wonders how players got on once the game was over. Sometimes tensions looked as though they were running high, and in professional games she' supposed that could escalate if not dealt with. At least at Hogwarts they were pretty much all kids, although the Slytherin's could be right arseholes.

Lunete almost snorted on her drink when Zach told her to stop thinking about his muscles or she'd make him blush. Lunete had no interest in Zach, he had a reputation of being a bit of a womaniser, and she had no intentions on being someone's notch. "Alright, alright, I'll drink 'em outta my mind." She said, lifting her glass and finishing the remainder of her drink. "Zach, it was a pleasure to finally meet you," Lunete stood up and tucked her chair in. Zach wasn't an arse or an arrogant prick and was surprisingly easy to talk to, but Lunete found she could talk to just about anyone, so that wasn't really much of a surprise, "Next time you're in the village, make sure to pop by the Broomsticks, I'll make sure to have a drink with your name on it." She'd shout him a drink as thanks for his company tonight, it wasn't going to break the bank and she was glad to have had some company tonight, "Enjoy the rest of your night." She gave him a small goodbye wave and headed for the door, waving to Abe before she left, home wasn't too far now.

Ollie jumped into the pool and splashed Sully. A tidal wave seemed to come out of the pool but luckily Lunete was just out of the way, a few splashes landed on her feet and lower legs but thankfully nothing reached high enough to threaten the integrity of her burger. “I can imagine,” She chuckled, “Maybe you’d have better luck in the lake, it would take some effort to splash all that out.” The lake was actually quite inviting, but Lunete much preferred the pool and being able to see just exactly what you were jumping into. Who knew what lived in those lake waters.

Lunete laughed as he apologised if he misread the situation, she waved a hand, brushing his concern off, “Oh, God no!” She blurted, she didn’t want to think that she didn’t think he was attractive enough to hit on or anything, he was definitely an attractive looking guy, but she was definitely not hitting on him. He wasn’t looking and Lunete could relate to that, she wasn’t looking either. She didn’t have many relationships but they’d all ended mutually and respectfully, apart from the last one, and that was enough to put her off for a while. She’d lost her brother and Dickhead had decided that was the best time to dump her out of nowhere in her local bakery, so yeah, physical and romantic relationships were far from Lu’s mind. “I’m just a fan, brownie promise.” She said, raising her three middle finger, really showing her muggle side, which really wasn’t a bright idea in this day and age, she told herself, so she put her hand down.

Lunete liked working for Roz, she was more motherly than Lunete remembered her being then when she was at school. Lunete remembered her being alright, but she had a bit of a strict side that didn't put up with much nonsense, but as an adult, and employee, Roz treated Lunete like family. "The friendliest," She beamed, putting on her friendly smile, "And if anyone gives you any trouble, I'll take care of 'em for ya, let you give those muscles a rest." Lunete hadn't yet participated in her first "bum-rush" but she was sure it would happen some day, and she felt kind of silly but she was sort of looking forward to physically throwing someone out, she just hoped it wasn't in horrific circumstance, who knew what you could be faced with these days.

Yes, her cooking skills were indeed laughable, but she didn’t mind because she was good at a lot of other things and besides, Honeyduke’s was near by and she could live off all that sugar quite happily for the rest of her life. Of course she’d probably become diabetic and need her feet cut off … wait, did the wizarding world have a cure for that? Lunete figured she probably should have become a healer after her mum’s death and not an auror, but oh well. “Only set the sink on fire once and I put it out almost immediately.” She laughed, “Thanks, though.” She smiled, “That’s real nice of you.” She tilted her head a little, “Do you often invite your fans to your place for cooking lessons?” Lunete had a hunch that he’d invited a few fans places, although probably not for cooking lessons, then again, maybe they were more fans of his physique rather than his career. Lunete was sure he could get plenty of action, but wasn’t all that muscle a little too hard? He didn’t really look like the kind of guy you could just snuggle up with and be all squishy and comfy with, but she was sire the ladies that were after such a well built man weren’t really after snuggles, so eh.

Outside, that was good. Lunete wasn't a fan of all weather, but she liked the good stuff, like snow or warm sunshine. She was used to all kinds, though, she loved Quidditch and if her mum hadn't died, then there was a good chance that she would have ended up on one of the professional teams, making a living that way. After her life at the Ministry was turned upside down swiftly after her auror training was complete, Lunete just headed to where she felt safe - Hogsmeade. Whether it was the sight of the castle or perhaps the familiarity of the village, Lunete wasn't sure, but she felt safe. "Hey, that's really cool that you get to keep in with what you've trained for." She said, impressed he'd managed to bounce back so well, "I bartend at the Broomsticks down the road." He'd given up a little information on his end and so she was willing to give up a little of hers in exchange, and besides, he didn't seem like the sort that would turn all stalker-ish or anything, "Roz was willing to give me a chance even though I've got zero experience. She's good people." She said raising her drink and taking a sip. She liked her life in Hogsmeade, but there was always the nagging feeling that something bad was going to happen.

Lunete almost gasped. If she hadn’t been finishing her mouthful then perhaps she would have, but that would have made her look like a total lunatic, “Are you serious?” She asked, unable to believe such an offer, but he bloody well sounded as though he knew how to cook. “That sounds incredible, I messed up soup the other day, I mean, it’s just water with things thrown in, right? How does anyone even mess that up!?” Honestly, she knew she was a shocking cook, but to learn from Sully? That was a pretty cool offer, and not one she’d turn down.

"What do you d-" Lunete went quiet, they'd both spoken up at the same time but she let him finish, "Yeah, I haven't really noticed it too much, though. Between home and work I don't really spend much time outside. Do you?" She wondered what he was up to now that he was't working at the Ministry, perhaps he was doing private work, he had the muscles for it, although what private work exactly, she had no idea. Security? Working with animals still? He didn't seem like the sort that would be an animal trainer or anything, but she recalled he'd worked for the magical beasts division in the ministry, so maybe he was doing something related to that these days.

Lunete was pretty good at making friends with people, just so long as they weren’t bigoted jerks, of course, and Sully was so easy to get along with, which she was surprised at given he was such a big celebrity in the Quidditch world. There probably wasn’t a quidditch fan alive that didn’t know his name or some of his classic moves. “These burgers are pretty amazing,” she agreed, “I’m a terrible cook, I can just about manage a bolognese, but beyond that, totally useless.” She took another bite of the burger, wishing she could talk and eat simultaneously.

Zach was a handsome guy and she didn't know where Abe's fancies laid, but to see Zach hitting on Abe was something she could do without, especially if Zach's charms worked on the older barkeep, then Lunete would possibly be finding herself throwing up. "Lu." She said, that was enough, she didn't want to give too much away, although that yellow armband that matched her own did give her the sense that she could trust him a hell of a lot more than most people she came across these days.

It was surreal to hear one of her quidditch idols say her name and allow her to call him by his nickname. She would constantly have ‘Sully’ in her mind, it was going to be more of an effort not to say his name in every single sentence. “I can see the appeal of a good glass of wine.” She laughed, although she would rather spend time with Sully over a glass of wine, but supposed when your brother was a famous quidditch star, you probably weren’t all that enamoured with him like the public were. “I don’t really, I came with my friend Lola, she’s the one that knows Leo.” It was good to know that she wasn’t the only outsider at this party.
