 And that summer feelin' it's so wonderful and warm Leo's front door opened by itself, which Gwen was so grateful for because she was about to wet herself. She hurried across the entrance in her heels, making annoying clickity slick sounds as she went, and started up the stairs as fast as she could. Why didn't he have a downstairs loo? It was silly in a house this size that he didn't have one, but he didn't, and she was practically dancing by the time she got up the stairs and found the closest bathroom. She gave a quick knock on the door. "Anyone in there?" No response. Great. Flapping, Gwen barged in and relieved herself. "Oh, bloody hell," she breathed, overcome with relief that she'd made it in time. "Whew!" Washing her hands, she looked at herself in the mirror over the sink and fixed her hair a bit. "Let's hope nobody saw that," she said to her reflection. Not the plain gold shoes on the floor behind her, or the diamante gold shoes that had been flung on the bed, but the ones with the strappy bits. Noelle was minding Isabella for the entire night. A sleepover! It was a rare occasion, but Frey was happy that her kid was confident enough to stay out with family. It was nice to get a break every now and then. Her hands clasped the shoes in question, and she tugged them out. "Got them!" she called, slipping her feet in quickly and heading downstairs to find Gabe, who had been patiently waiting for her to get ready for what must have felt like an age. "I'm here. Let's go." She rushed to his side and gave him a peck on the cheek and a grin that said "I'm sorry for taking so long, thank you for putting up with me." Everyone was nearly always a little flirty with Felix, even at work. He had that sort of face that made all the ladies and a few of the gents pay him extra attention, and his natural charm made it difficult to dislike him outwardly. Even when he was being an arse. So it was no surprise when Chloe and Kiki welcomed him to the little bar set up as if they were hoping he’d drop trou right there and show them a good time. “If you want to see me naked, Healer Sullivan, you need only ask.” He chuckled, making his comment a light hearted joke as opposed to a serious offer, though if the witch was smart enough she’d find him later when her friend was occupied. “How about a whiskey? Neat.” Chloe excused herself and had another group not joined them in the lounge, Felix might have turned on his sexy eyes, but he kept his expression casual in mixed company. “Has Leo got you playing bartender, or did I just get lucky?”

Dorian was more of a classical music fan, than anything modern. He had no suggestions for the lad off the top of his head, not even sure who Valentine was. If Killian wanted to play Doozy the Dragon’s greatest hits, Dorian unfortunately had the entire album memorized top to bottom. It was Ariel’s favorite, at the moment, though Dorian had several childrens albums imprinted onto his brain at this point. “There should be some Draconus albums in there. I know that was Leo’s favorite in school.” Killian was probably too young to even know who Draconus were, but back in their Hogwarts days he and Leo knew every song of theirs by heart. They had even toyed with the idea of starting a band together, as all teenagers inevitably do, but clearly fame and fortune as rock stars eluded them.

Killian gave her an approving grin before she left the room, and went back to chatting with Dorian about music choices. "Draconus?" Killian repeated, trying to recall if he'd heard of them before. He scanned through the records for the name, finally spotting an album and pulling it out, looking over the front cover, which showed a symbol of a weird looking dragon. It looked familiar. "I think my dad listens to these," Killian said, recalling Abraxas Vaile boogying around their living room and dragging Corona up for a dance just last week. Killian was sure he saw this album cover sitting on the coffee table. He hadn't paid much attention, but the music hadn't been too bad. He put it on and turned up the volume, nodding his head to the music. "Good choice, Dor. Thanks for the help, man." Killian grinned at Dorian and then noticed that he was standing right next to a bar. "Oh, drinks! You want one?" he asked, bopping towards the bar where a couple were flirting up a storm. Sully's drink was abandoned on the bar, and whatever small inkling she might have had to take it to him disappeared when the music kicked in. "Oooh, Draconus!" Kiki called, shimmying around the bar to hand Felix his drink. "Let's dance, sexy pants." Chloe watched with a smile on her face as Liam flipped a burger, "You're a natural!" She beamed, heartily enjoying the sight of her man enjoying himself, it was adorably wholesome, and hot, everything Liam did was hot, this time literally, to boot. "I'll take a couple prawn kebabs, thanks babe" Everything smelt amazingly delicious but she was really eying up the prawn skewers that were loaded with colourful veggies, too.

It was surreal to hear one of her quidditch idols say her name and allow her to call him by his nickname. She would constantly have ‘Sully’ in her mind, it was going to be more of an effort not to say his name in every single sentence. “I can see the appeal of a good glass of wine.” She laughed, although she would rather spend time with Sully over a glass of wine, but supposed when your brother was a famous quidditch star, you probably weren’t all that enamoured with him like the public were. “I don’t really, I came with my friend Lola, she’s the one that knows Leo.” It was good to know that she wasn’t the only outsider at this party.

Jasper didn’t know much about his friend’s financial statuses. In the land of the wealthy, people often liked for others to believe they had more worth than they appeared. Jasper didn’t really care, no one would beat the Lestrange’s in wealth and Jasper liked just being comfortable. Very comfortable. His brother’s had a small fortune from their father after his passing and Jasper, being the eldest, had the responsibilities, the homes and the bulk of the fortune. He’d left the businesses in the hands of a business manager so that he could go back to being a Healer, the business world was too much for him to handle, but someone with a severed arm was fine. “Hey, Leo.” Jasper had spotted his friend abandoning the barbecue, leaving it the hands of Ant, perhaps Leo was on his way to do something but Jasper figured a quick ‘hello’ was in order, and besides, he had to introduce Geralina and pray to whatever high being existed, that Leo had not tried setting him up. Again. “This is a friend of mine, Geralina Drake.” He introduced, although Leo had seen her backside at Dorian's party and had suggested the pair head upstairs, but Jasper wasn't sure if the two had ever formally met before, “She’s a librarian at Hogwarts. Ger, this is Leo Zabini, one of the greatest healers St. Mungo’s has to offer, after yours truly of course.” He chuckled.

Gabriel was never in a rush, to him there was no need to rush through life, no matter what you were doing. He sat quietly on the sofa, having been ready for half an hour, just flipping through a book about the universe, as one often does with little else to do. Frey was getting ready and his little Buttercup was spending the afternoon, and night, with her aunty, leaving Gabe to delve into the wonders of the cosmos. He flipped through images that swirled in the book, the stars scintillating on every page. Eventually he heard Freya heading down the stairs so he closed the book up, placed it carefully on the coffee table, and stood, straightening himself up. “You look like a million galleons.” He said as she pecked his cheek. He had the most beautiful wife to be, he could hardly believe his luck in life.
Gabe wrapped his arms around Freya before he disapparated the both of them to Leo’s property. He’d been a few times before and the place was easy to get to. Gently, Gabe let go of Freya and then wrapped his arm around her waist as they walked to the front door of Leo’s place, “You can enjoy the soft cheeses, have a medium rare steak, enjoy the spa.” He reminded her. It wasn’t just the alcohol she could enjoy this time around, Freya was able to enjoy everything that Leo’s home had to offer, and Gabe was looking forward to Freya being able to have a fully good time and he appreciated all the sacrifices she had made so that they could have a healthy, happy child.

“L-Man!” Ant laughed, fully accepting that he was a totally twit but hey, they had a crazy thing now, and crazy things always brought them closer together, although he was sure D-man would disagree, but he could be a stick in the mud at times. “Haven’t seen them.” He said, not to sure who was about, but he had only just got there and Leo’s house was pretty damn huge. “Sure, yeah, no worries, no worries, I got this, all cool here, L-man, all cool here.” He said, giving L-Man a salute as her parted, “Hey there.” He smiled at the girl that said ‘hey’ to him, “I’m Ant, barbecue legend.” He said, waving the spatular a little, as if that was somehow proof of his tstus, even though it had just been given to him by Leo.

Halley took a slow, steady breath in. It kept going and going until she couldn’t breath in any more and then she let the long breath out, trying to keep herself calm as the handsome guy moved closer to her. The close he got, the more she wanted to just slink away in absolute embarrassment, about what, though? She had no idea what it was that she was embarrassed about. She’d not really done anything other than get a little dizzy. “I - I don’t think so?” Did she really just say that as a question? She did. She’d just answered his question with an exceptionally dumb question. He was handsome and his smiled kept her frozen to the spot. She couldn’t move. She just felt a warm smile spread over her face as she felt herself inches from swooning as he reached beside her and opened a door, declaring he’d found the fridge. “Well done.” She said softly, staring into his impossibly perfect brown eyes, then realising she was almost in the way so she shook her head, comming to her senses and literally doing a little bunny hop out of the way. And, also, what the hell was that!? ‘Well done’? On finding a fridge!? What was happening to her!?

“Got it in one.” She said, impressed he got her and her pets names. They hadn’t been to him in a while, so Dorcas hadn’t really expected him to remember her name or her cats names, but he’d got them all right, “Impressive memory you’ve got.” She had a quick look around, not really fancying getting a bite to eat just yet nor finding a drink, it was still early, she’d embarrass herself later, she was sure Leo would have a laugh at her expense, even if other’s found her unbearable. “How’s the clinic going? Still saving all those cute little animals?” She asked, curious as to how it was going, but also half hoping he’d become a stripper or something else that showed off his body. Scrubs did nothing for what was clearly a well looked after body. Oh, maybe he was a life guard now. She’d certainly fein drowning just to see him dive in and rescue her.

Doc nuzzled his face into the curve where Sharla’s neck met her shoulder. He nipped her lightly, pulling her body against his. He wanted to spin her around and carry her upstairs to his bed, but they were running late. Did it really matter, though? It wasn’t as if Leo was going to put the barbecue on hold until they got there, nor was he going to end it early and they’d miss it. They had plenty of time, Doc was sure of it, yet at the same time he wanted his friends to finally meet Sharla as his girlfriend. Doc looked at his girlfriend and he wave of shocking blue hair, “Should we leave or do you wanna,” he wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, ready to carry her upstairs, figuring the barbecue could wait.
