PERSONALITY Boggart: Drowning. Freya had a little scare in the lake during her first year at Hogwarts. Her foot got tangled in some reeds and she was pulled under for quite a while, and she had really thought that she was a goner until Gilly had managed to free her. She's been afraid of large bodies of water ever since. Mirror of Erised: Herself old and gray, with Gabe by her side, having stayed together forever, like they promised each other every day when they were younger. Patronus: Barn Owl - Her first kiss with her fiance. It was electric, and the culmination of a lot of heartache and desire and stress. It was the most perfect moment that she had never expected to have. Steadfast and true are probably some of the words Freya's family and friends would use to describe her first. They'd then follow that up with evil when hungry, and passive aggressive bitch. But let's focus on the good bits, eh? She is definitely someone who is always true to herself, no matter what she is feeling, you will know it. She's not cruel or nasty by nature, not at all, but more able to subtly - most of the time - let others now what she's feeling or thinking, even if it's not necessarily good. She's great at a backhanded comment, and she's often been heard muttering under her breath for a good hour after you've pissed her off, but be safe in the knowledge that one way or another, you will know that you've pissed her off. Just don't expect her to blow up in your face every time, she reserves that for the people she's closest to, or for when she's really hungry. Hangry is her thing. She is passionate and dedicated to the things that she enjoys, and she adores her cooking and baking more than anything else, though her unborn child is obviously right up there on the list, too. He/She's totally top. Maybe second to the smell of those cupcakes baking. Who knows. She'll never admit it. She's very much into her family and her fiance. Definitely into her fiance, especially if he's missing a fair few items of clothing. She is very much into life's pleasures, food, sex, family time, sleep, beer, great clothes. She is a pureblood with money to afford nice clothes, but she is far from a snob, and prefers sitting in a pub wearing jeans and a torn jacket and downing beers with the locals, no matter how stunning she looks in a gown. As down to earth and loving as she is, Freya likes to be the best at what she's good at. She enjoys having people give her praise, and she likes to shine where she can. She can throw a mean hex if the occasion calls for it, and she is an Order supporter, but she would rather live an easy life and not be sucked into a war. She wants a better world for her children, but she doesn't want to be on the front lines, and she really doesn't want her fiance to be, either. She is selfish in that way, she wants her family to be safe, even if it means they are taking a back seat during an important time in the wizarding world. A quiet life is better than one filled with death and glory. Though she will wave her little "Voldy Sucks" flag in the privacy of her own home. That was as far as the Fawleys were willing to take their supremacy, though. They were a good family, decent people who worked hard to keep what they had, and instilled good values in their children. Freya being the first born was the tester for everything, and the biggest learning curve her parents had ever been on. Even when her two younger sisters came along, Freya was still the first to do everything, the first to need rules to be set for every new stage and milestone, and the first one to point out if her sisters got an easier ride than she did. Yes, her hand was gripped onto more often than Elissa and Noelle's were, and they were allowed to stray further at the park than Freya had been able to at their age, and she was certain they were out of nappies sooner than she was, too. But they also got less toys than she did, because she they couldn't pass things along to her, so all of Freya's stuff had to be shiny and new, which she adored, and their shoes weren't polished as much as hers had been every day, and they definitely got a lot more bumps and scrapes than she had, thanks to their extra freedom. Freya had always been an observant child, though she never resented her parents for being harder on her than her siblings. She understood, they were trying to get it right. Her father always told her that she had an old head on young shoulders, and Frey liked to agree most of the time, though she would insist that it didn't make her a bore. Far from it, she always had an adventurous spirit, and a love of putting on a show. If she could showcase her talents and thought you'd watch for longer than five seconds, she'd not hesitate to pop on some music and make you sit through an entire musical performance, or dramatic reading, or even just force you to listen to her read her favourite book out loud. All fifteen chapters of it, and then the rest the next night. She was undoubtedly a confident little girl who knew what she wanted, but she had a heart of gold to go with it, and a sense of generosity that went unmatched. She mothered her sisters terribly when they were young, and liked to choose their outfits for them every morning, brush their hair and almost treat them like little dolls. She took pride in making breakfast for herself and her siblings when the mood struck, and she'd teach them how to bake - one of her favourite activities. She has so many fond memories of being in the kitchen at home with them, getting covered in flour and giggling, and licking chocolate off of their fingers, which definitely shouldn't have been dipped into the cupcake mix. The bond between the sisters was strong, and when it came time for Frey to go to Hogwarts, she made sure to put in the effort to keep that bond. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, thanks to her loving nature and sense of dedication and doing the right thing. She was happy there and made friends easily. There were some girls in her year who tried to be mean to her because she was tall and pretty and well liked, but she soon showed them that she was also strong. A few simple hexes taught them their lesson, and for a second year, she was quite proud of herself. Freya was never the smartest nor the one struggling in lessons, an average student, she did well in the lessons that interested her like Potions and Charms, and the rest she passed just fine with a bit of effort. She didn't want a fancy job anyway, she wanted to be a chef, or a baker, or both. Yeah, both. That sounded good. In her fifth year one of her best friends, Gilbert Ollivander, began to act strangely towards her. They had always been close and able to laugh and be comfortable with each other, but he was suddenly awkward, not knowing what to say around her and folding his arms across his chest a lot. It took a couple of months of her asking him if he was okay before one of her other friends told her that he had a crush on her. Freya was stunned, but actually excited at the thought. He was gorgeous! And one of her best friends! How perfect! She confronted him in her usual bright and confident manner, and by the spring of their fifth year, they were dating. Freya was beyond happy. School life shone a bit brighter thanks to her relationship with Gilly, and they remained loyal to each other through the rest of their studies, and graduated together. Freya began work as a trainee Auror at the Ministry, her dreams of being a baker gone out the window to be replaced with many more ambitions before she settled on her final career choice. Gilly was doing his own thing, but they were happy, settled. Until Gilly's older brother, Gabriel, began to enter Freya's thoughts more often than was appropriate. She had known him for years, he was three years older, but he'd been lovely to her at Hogwarts, and never treated her like a kid after he had graduated. He was a great brother, but he was also really bloody handsome, and now that they were out of Hogwarts, Freya found herself spending more time in his presence than ever before whenever she went to the Ollivander family home. She couldn't deny her attraction to Gabriel, and it wasn't just his looks, everything about him drew her in, he was kind, caring, and had this warmth about him that was irresistible, she could talk to him for hours and never get bored, and he seemed content in her company, too. It wasn't until she was almost twenty that Gilly began to notice. He became suspicious, and questioned her about whether she'd slept with Gabe. Of course she hadn't, but Freya couldn't lie when Gilbert asked if she had feelings for his brother. Her lack of answer told him everything he needed to know, and he broke up with her right there on the spot. Freya was heartbroken, as was Gilly, but after a few awkward months, the two decided they had been friends for far too long to just give up on each other entirely. It would be a long time before they could be friends again, but they wanted to try. In the meantime, Freya could no longer resist her feelings for Gabe, and the summer of her twentieth birthday saw them finally get together. Being with him was the most incredible feeling Frey had ever felt. They just... fit. It was so right that she couldn't see how she had ever lived without him by her side. The months went by, and though things were awkward with Gilly for a while, things started to get easier, and the trio began to feel comfortable together again. Freya graduated the Auror training program after completing her full three years, and she found that being an Auror suited her quite well. It kept her on her toes, and helped her to feel like she was doing something good in the world, protecting people. It was a bit like looking out for her siblings only on a grand scale, having the backs of strangers in real need as well.It made her feel good, and gave her a buzz and a purpose in life other than baking the best cakes in her free time. Things were going well with Gabe, she felt settled and happy, and last Christmas, Gabe proposed. They never got around to setting a date for the wedding, because almost a year later Freya found herself pregnant with their first child. She's only two months pregnant, their daughter due on 14th June 1980, and she could not be happier with her life right now. OOC Play By: Charlize Theron Your Alias: Izzy Pronouns: Her/she.
