She felt much more comfortable knowing that this man was friendly and warm, and she squeezed him back, glancing questioningly at Jasper and wondering just what he'd told Leo about her in private. Did he really talk about her? Leo hugged Jasper next and whatever he had said caused Jas to shout embarrassingly loud. People were looking, and Geralina chewed on her lip. What the hell was going on? Jas seemed to be lost for words and eventually revealed that Leo had asked him to skinny dip or something. Skinny dipping with so many people around? Was Leo an exhibitionist? Had Jasper really done that in the past? It took her a minute to realise that she hadn't said anything at all for a long while. She really didn't know what to say, but Jasper looked like he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him so she had to say something. She’d have liked it if they had a pool but they weren’t pool people, that require a lot of up keep and moving to a place with enough space for a pool. Chloe liked living in London, in an apartment way up in the sky. Their building didn’t have a pool, but even if it did, Chloe didn’t really fancy sharing a pool with some of the people that lived in their building. Chloe took the plate and nodded her head, “Let’s grab a seat, babe.” she said, figuring someone else could take over the cooking.

Ant smirked, laughing quietly as Lola accused him of being a liar, “What gave it away, huh?” She was a funny one, Ant thought she wasn’t too bad to hang out with. Obviously he would have loved to hang out with the hot blonde, Liv Burke, but she was way out of his league. So was Lola, but they were just hanging, chatting about total rubbish, if he was anywhere near Liv, he was certain he’d put his foot in his mouth. Ant took the plate as she took the spatula. He looked around in the direction that Lola was pointing. Liv!? Ant could feel his stomach drop. “No worries, that’s fine.” Fine. Totally fine. He told himself. “Lovely chatting, Lola. Good luck with the grilling, make me proud, girl.” He shot her with a finger gun and a little ‘pow’ sound and made his way over towards Liv, praying that he didn’t trip over his own two feet. Ant took a deep breath and calmed himself, being sure not to trip as he stepped inside and approached Liv. “Hey,” He said, his voice deeper than he intended, “This is for you.” He clear his throat and pointed a thumb over his shoulder at Lola at the barbecue, “Lola sent me.” He smiled awkwardly, feeling awkward but hoping she wasn’t going to scoff at him or anything too harsh because he had a feeling he would just die.

Lunete almost gasped. If she hadn’t been finishing her mouthful then perhaps she would have, but that would have made her look like a total lunatic, “Are you serious?” She asked, unable to believe such an offer, but he bloody well sounded as though he knew how to cook. “That sounds incredible, I messed up soup the other day, I mean, it’s just water with things thrown in, right? How does anyone even mess that up!?” Honestly, she knew she was a shocking cook, but to learn from Sully? That was a pretty cool offer, and not one she’d turn down.

Jasper felt as though he’d completely messed that up. He could have said just about anything in the world and yet he’d gone for skinny dipping. Honestly, if the world could just crack open, even a little, and swallow him up, he’d have liked that very much. Unfortunately the fates were not on his side and instead he was still there. “Brilliant.” He said, with a sigh, resigning himself to this lie, although Leo was fully enjoying it all too much. That dazzling grin of his was digging at Jasper’s soul. “We’re good, I think I know my way around enough by now. You go play host, mate.” The sooner Leo was gone, the sooner Jasper could, hopefully, recover from that whopper of a lie!

Johnny stood up and offered his hand.
