"Undoubtedly so," She said without missing a beat, smiling a little "Just count yourself lucky you get to meet me so calm and friendly." She smiled at Max. It wasn't exactly a lie either, she could have been dragging Tersha away from the vampire next door and kicking their arses, or attempting to, she wasn't sure how she'd fare against two vampires, but she could hold them off long enough to get her and Tersha away if she wanted. Luckily the two vampires didn't seem like blood-thirsty fiends on the prowl for human blood, and if they were then they were a couple of idiots, but it didn't matter what she thought, she was going to be on her guard.

This whole brooding vampire thing that Max had going on was a pain in the arse, he may have thought it made him seem edgy and hip but all Dorcas could think about was when would her food be ready. "That they are not," She said, "I find the quiet ones usually have a lot to say behind closed doors," Usually a lot to say with their bodies, "And the boring types usually never stop talking, usually about the most mundane of topics." Perhaps she was the boring type, she did go on and on, such as now, or perhaps what she considered a mundane topic was quite interesting and just board the shit out of her. Dorcas thought back to the last person she'd found mundane, and wondered if she'd jumped too quickly at considering him boring. Hmm. No, she was right to think of cement as boring.

Dorcas sighed as the door opened again. If it had been Dolphus back then she would have heard him coming down the hall. His bellowing was doing her head in and she just wanted to suffocate the life out of him. Given the lack of knocking it wasn't Dorian with her wand so Dorcas was trapped here a while longer until Dorian found what it was she was looking for, although he was a giant pain in the arse today so perhaps she'd change up her emergency contact to someone more competent and able to follow basic instructions.

As Dorcas looked to the person in the room, dressed in sexy lime green healer robes ... Dorcas wondered why the hell she hadn't seen him about sooner. If she'd have known he was her healer then perhaps she'd start taking her medicine like a good little witch, or maybe asking for a spanking when she was being naughty. "If anyone should be apologising it's that jerk." Dorcas hopped off the bed, "I suspect he'll be making a hefty donation in the next few days." Or whenever she could return home and make it in his name. "Who are you?" She asked bluntly, eyeing him up and down suspiciously. Clearly he was a healer, but if he was under Dolphus' thumb then it didn't matter how hot he was, she'd be out of here as soon as possible.

Dorcas was little surprised that Johnny ripped his shirt off and even more surprised that he just threw it in her face. She managed to catch it as it made contact and she threw it to the side as he got up on the bar and started dancing. He was good, the way his body moved to the music was actually kind of erotic, even when he downed his drink she noticed a little spill from the sides and fall down his body, shining in the sunlight the filter into the room. He carried on dancing and the got up, holding out his hand for her, “Chicken? No.” She said with a little shake of her head, she'd done so much crazier with Tersha. “But there’s no way I can get up there in this skirt.” Well she could, but it would be awkward and probably involve her arse floundering around like a fish out of water, and there was no way in hell she was stripping down to her undies just to dance on a bar with her former vet, "But feel free to carry on, the view is very much appreciated." She said with a sly little smirk, raising her glass to her lips and having a mouthful of her drink. Merlin, she could bounce a galleon off those abs.

Dorcas assessed everything she could see. There was broken glass on the floor and judging from Tersha's screaming, she'd probably stepped on it. The vampire was up and flashing his teeth at her and they looked entirely human, but how much control did a vampire have over his teeth? Dorcas was an auror, she probably should have known that. "Nah, you're good. I'm in the room next door if you need me for ... non-sexual stuff, babe." She said to Tersha, fairly certain that everything was as fine as it could be in the weird vampire toe sucking room. With a final glance over the very naked, very well sculpted vampire's body, Dorcas left the room, shutting the door behind her. She was glad there wasn't any biting going on, but she hadn't really wanted to see a naked vampire sucking her naked best friend's toe, it was quite unusual, even by her standards, still, Dorcas went back to her room, wand at her side, locking her own door, not even surprised to see Max there helping himself to a drink at the bar. "I'll have a water." She said, making her way to the sofa and slumping down on the end, kicking her own shoeless feet up onto the sofa. If Maximus got any ideas about her toes then she'd give him a bloody nose and a castration.

Dorian was gone and hopefully in search of her wand. Rodolphus was gone and hopefully about to get his arse handed to him by a Healer. And what about her? What about Dorcas? Well she wanted to be gone too but there was no way out without her wand. She'd be tracked down far too quickly. Dolphus took way too much of her energy and she sat back own on the bed with a heavy sigh, leaning over, running her hands over her face and through her wet hair.

Dorcas was starting to get a little bored. Maximus was shit company if truth be told, although if she discovered he hadn’t been following her then she’d let him off the hook. Maybe. Possibly. Probably not. He was a Devereaux, so if he was anything like Kit then he was probably a total smug wanker. Whatever, Dorcas would carry on chatting. “That’s so interesting.” She said once more, acting as though this wasn’t a completely dull, one sided conversation but it became more interesting when she heard Tersha swearing in quick succession and Dorcas was out of her room in a shot, fearing the worst. Hurrying down the corridor to Tersha’s room Dorcas was light on her feet but she knew that if the vampire was listening in, he'd hear her coming, but if by chance he was zoned out, then she could hopefully sneak in, door allowing. Trying the door handle first and finding it, much to her surprise, open, Dorcas let herself in, leaving the door open behind her. She had her wand strategically drawn only to turn a corner and find Tersha, on a chair with, “Oh fuck's sake.” She said, rolling her eyes, seeing a vampire sucking on her best friend's toe.
