PERSONALITY Boggart: Will graduating and telling her that he doesn't love her any more, and that they can't get back together. She would be absolutely devastated. Mirror of Erised: London wants to marry the guy she's in love with, and live free of the restrictions her parents are trying to put on her. If she could, she'd move to America and start a new life, with cute kids and a few dogs running around. New York would be the dream. Patronus: Dolphin - London's happiest memories all seem to evolve around the guy she loves. Kissing Will, giggling with Will, generally being a disgusting pain in the arse to all of her friends with Will. It was sickening, and she loves every single memory she has of it all. Lola is a ball of love. Always smiling, always willing to lend a hand, always having a funny face in the middle of serious situations to brighten the mood. She likes to see the positive side of life as much as she can, and she tries her best to defy darkness and basically act as though it doesn't exist. She's not a fan of crying, and if you're upset around her, she will immediately feel uncomfortable, and then try her best to convince you that you have nothing to be sad about. She's not the best at it, but if you stop crying, even because you're just confused at why she's talking about how great your bum looks in those jeans, she'll count it as a win. London is bold, she's confident, she's not scared to step out into the world every day and own it. Her friends would describe her as bubbly and fun, and she's certainly that. She's also got a lot of wit and a sharp tongue. If you're staring at her boobs she'll call you out. If you're being a bit of a dick to someone, she'll tell you to wind your neck in. If you're claiming to be incredible at something, she'll ask you to prove it, and watch with a wry look on her face as you fail. She won't take bullshit from anyone, but at the same time, she's a sweetheart five seconds after pulling you up about being a bitch. She's a sucker for romance, and is quite smitten with the idea of true love. She thinks she has it, but she needs to wait for her old flame to graduate in the summer before she learns whether she's right or not. She loves her family, but she's not overly into them. She keeps up solid bonds with her brother and sister, and their kids, and she does what her parents ask of her, but she likes to live her own life, and is not saddened in the least if she doesn't see any of them for a week or so. She likes her freedom and her privacy, and to be able to make her own choices without family breathing down her neck, pushing her to be a snob so they can claw in more money. No, thank you. They don't need to know she feels that way, though. She broke the quiet with her screams, and from that moment on, proved to be someone who wouldn't stay quiet for long. She wasn't the type of baby who would sit and stare at the toy she had dropped, willing it to float back into her hand (that came later), oh no, Lola would shout her tiny head off until someone passed it to her, then fix them with a big beaming smile, satisfied. Even as a toddler, she would demand what she wanted or needed without hesitation, then be happy as a pig in mud the second she got what she'd been after. She wasn't spoiled. She was the youngest of four, with two older sisters and a big brother who also required attention, but then that just meant that there were three other sets of hands to keep her happy. That was in the school holidays, of course, because there is quite a large age gap between the siblings, and so by the time she was one year old, her sisters went off to Hogwarts, and she was practically raised as an only child. She wasn't a fan of that, to be honest. Though she was only tiny, she had enjoyed watching Paris and Vienna, calling out for them and studying them while they did even the most mundane of things, like eating dinner. It was boring when she only had her parents faces to look at, but she quickly found the cat a fun alternative once she was on her feet. Her childhood was quite lonely, though she knew no different since when her siblings came home for the holidays, they weren't always interested in spending time with her. King certainly wasn't, he was practically an adult already. Vienna would play with her in private, mostly just brushing her hair and reading to her. Paris was the most fun, she would lift her up on her shoulders and pretend to fly her around the garden, always getting the most giggles from London, and seeming to enjoy their time together. That was until things got a bit weird. Lola didn't know what had happened at the time, she was too young to be told, but her siblings had all graduated, and Paris wasn't around any more, and Lola just remembers being a bit sad, but then they started to buy nice things and Lo got a bit spoiled more than she was used to. King and Vi got married and Lo got to be a bridesmaid twice! Her childhood was a quite chaotic mixture of joy and sadness, being settled, and then all of a sudden having everything change. They had money now, and Lo quite liked that. She enjoyed buying new things at the shops, and her parents taught her that she was better than others, something she doubted, and wasn't very comfortable with, but she kept her mouth shut. She liked the money, at least. Her time in Hogwarts was filled with fun, a new lease of life seeming to burst from Lola with the change. She was sorted into Hufflepuff, and made some amazing friends, though she found herself not taking her parents advice too seriously, and befriended people who weren't pureblood, too. She kept that as quiet as she could, but sometimes they found out and lectured her when she was at home. Lo would always fight her corner, and try her best to point out that she was doing what they wanted... mostly! "But mum, I'm seeing Will Hookum, and he's a pureblood," she insisted. Her mother shook her head, disappointed. "You're not even together right now, London," she chided. The stern look on her mother's face didn't stop her. "But we're in love! As soon as he graduates we'll be together again and you can't complain, because he's the right sort." Amelia scoffed. "Barely." "You can't be funny with me, mother, you said pure, and he's pure." The look of stubborn fury on Lo's face was enough to make her mother storm out of the room, flustered. So there's a boy. Will Hookum, two years younger than her but just a dreamboat. He's a Gryffindor, and he asked Lo out in his fourth year (her sixth). They dated until she graduated a year later, and both will admit that they were in love, and still do love each other. They tried to stay together for a while, but it was hard with him being at school, and so the Christmas after her graduation, they split. It was a mutual agreement that they would see other people until Will graduated, and then they would get back on track and live happily ever after. It may sound a bit flimsy but Lola believes it with all her heart. She has dated other guys over the past year and a half, and she and Will write to each other all the time, but she's definitely Will's girl. Skipping back to London's school life, she did pretty well in most of her lessons, and got a real shock when her big sister Paris randomly showed up as the new Astronomy Professor in her final year. Lo wasn't sure how to act, it had been years since she'd seen Paris, and she knew nothing of why Paris had left, only as she'd gotten older, Vienna had whispered to her that Paris was no good and had gone off the rails and shamed their family. Lo couldn't see it, to be honest, all she saw was the sister she used to laugh with when she was small, but it was certainly strange having her around the castle. Lo planned to talk to her. She had been plucking up the courage all year, and spent the Easter holidays writing down everything she thought she might like to say, and practising in the mirror. She shouldn't have been so nervous, but she was. Her parents and siblings were pushing her hard towards blood purity and all of this elitist nonsense, but Lo always wondered. It wasn't right. Paris was so warm and bright whenever Lo sneakily watched her in the Great Hall at meal times. She seemed to represent a different way of life than what her parents were pushing. Lo had never felt so torn in her life. She loved her parents, but she also didn't entirely agree with them. It was a hard time in her life, made even harder when before she had even had a chance to speak to Paris, the beautiful woman was killed by Death Eaters. Lola was heartbroken, and more confused than ever. These people spouted purist beliefs, and they had killed her sister. How could she be one of them? She graduated and became a bit more of a thorn in her parents sides, though she tows the line. She keeps up her relationships with her siblings and their little ones, and is a fun auntie when she gets opportunity, but her heart tells her they're not going about life the right way. The money is fabulous, she'd never say otherwise, but she can't commit to their way of life fully, and so she got her own apartment after graduating, and she lives her life as privately as she can manage. She's always been a loud, bubbly girl, but her family do not need to be in her pockets all of the time. She likes the freedom and the pressure feels more bearable when she's in her own little home. She has a good job as a Medi-Witch, and she's happy enough with her life right now. OOC Play By: Alexandra Daddario Your Alias: Izzy Pronouns: Her/she.
