PERSONALITY Boggart: Her family, dead. Her family mean the world to her and to see them all dead, leaving her alone, would cripple her. Mirror of Erised: Head of the Auror Department by the time she's 35! Patronus: Phoenix - Spinning around in the sun filled garden with her mum. Holding hands, smiling, laughing and giggling like it was never going to end! They made daisy chains and held buttercups to their chins. Lunete is just adorable! Or so she's been told, constantly. So few people realise that despite the adorable little exterior she has, she's fierce and strong willed. A natural Gryffindor she puts others before herself. She jumps in head first to defend anyone she fears is being mistreated. Ever since she was little she knew of the magical world. While her brothers one by one all showed magical abilities and left for a magical school called Hogwarts, Lunete read all their old books, finding fascination with the world but fearing she might never be a part of it. Lunete craves acceptance in some ways. Not necessarily by the masses but by those she deems worthy enough of her time, effort and love. Easily provoked into a fight Lunete will always reach for her wand. Her small stature has only of recent years become handy during her Auror training. Learning how to swiftly out manoeuvre perpetrators and use memento for force rather than a lot of physical strength. She's still stronger than she looks and knows how to break a nose with a quick up-smack of the palm of her hand. Despite having gotten good at physical fighting over her year and a half of training, she's still far better with her wand and as a dueler. Lunete adores her friends and family. She is fiercely loyal and will defend her loved ones without question. She doesn't have to know what a feud is about, she doesn't have to know if her loved one is in the right or wrong, she refuses to see them hurt. She's always deliberate and certain in her actions, there's never any second guessing of herself. She has a need for adventure but calculates her risks heavily. Having grown up the baby of the family and the only girl she was protected by everyone. Her father and her brothers would have wrapped her in cotton wool and bubble wrap if they could and because of that she's constantly faced with the urge to break free of her invisible confines. While her personality screams a true Gryffindor she has aspects from all the other houses too. She's hard working like a Hufflepuff, she's cunning like a Slytherin and she has a keen interest in learning like a Ravenclaw. To her the magical world is one that she feels privileged to be a part of. HISTORY Mother: Rosemary "Rosie" Dearborn, muggle, deceased. Father: James "Jim" Dearborn, 60, muggle Siblings: Caradoc Bernard Dearborn , 32, muggleborn. Tristan Jude Dearborn , forever 28, muggleborn, deceased. Percival Dearborn, 25, muggleborn. Lionel Dearborn, 22, muggleborn. Partners: No one currently Others: Tawny owl named Flitz. For years and years Rosie and Jim Dearborn tried for a baby girl. A boy and a girl was all they ever wanted but that didn't mean they didn't love their kids equally. Four sons and finally a daughter and the couple were done trying. Regardless of her gender Lunete was going to be their last child, five was plenty for the couple. The day she was born was one of the happiest of their lives until things took a turn for the worse. Rosie started losing a lot of blood and Lunete had to be whisked away as her breathing started getting weaker and weaker. Left without his wife and without his newborn daughter Jim had no idea what to do. 24 hours with a breathing tube and Lunete was "fine". She was kept under observations for a while longer while her mother recovered in the same hospital. Both the Dearborn girls were fine and came home together when Lunete was a week old. Life was pretty ordinary for the Dearborn family apart from - oh yeah, they were magical! Well not all of them. Rosie and Jim were not magical. They were what Caradoc said the wizarding people called 'muggles'. Lunete growing up knowing all sorts of things about the magical world but only ever getting to read about it in books until the summer holidays came and the family would take a few trips to Diagon Alley. Having been taught at a muggle primary school and watching as one after the other her brothers went off to Hogwarts, she found herself growing very lonely. She loved her parents but it wasn't the same as having her siblings. Lionel was closest to her in age and when Tristan had gone off to Hogwarts the two had become really close. It was two years before she went off to Hogwarts. The moment that hat touched her head it shouted 'GRYFFINDOR' to the hall. The table over to her left cheered, clapping and hollering and she joined them on one of the happiest days of her life. While she didn't have her parents, Caradoc or Percival, she did have Tristan and Lionel at school with her and she made friends quickly with people in her own year and house as well as people from other houses and outside of her year group. She also had bullies here and there but she was never afraid to whip out her wand and teach them a thing or two. Of course in the early days it was a lot of tickling and sneezing spells but when combined at the same time the majority of people peed themselves and it was lesson forming. Being a bit boisterous landed Lunete in trouble when she was caught. It wasn't often but it was often enough. She never made prefect or head girl and nor did she really want to. She was on the quidditch team as a chaser and loved every single second! She would go to all the matches and cheer on the Hufflepuff team, having good friends in the house of the badger. She'd even cheer on Ravenclaw when they were against Slytherin. There wasn't a single game that she missed. She loved the sport and dreamt of becoming a professional player. With mixed result sin her OWL's Lunete strived to do better and pushed herself to concentrate more on her studies. She had a lighter lesson load in her seventh year, only taking five NEWT's instead of the maximum seven allowed. She did well. Brilliantly in fact and she got straight O's across the board. A far cry from her mixed OWL scores but it didn't matter too much what she got, she was going to be a professional Quidditch player. That was what she wanted. After graduating from Hogwarts Lunete found herself with the chance of a lifetime. She had Quidditch try outs with various scouts and team managers watching but despite what she believed to be her absolute best flying, she was called off the pitch. Confused and disappointed she felt an anger swelling inside of her. She was better than everyone else out on that pitch and she was the one to be called off? She'd made no fouls, she'd flown perfectly and she'd displayed her ability to work in a team. As she approached the bloke that had called her down off the pitch she saw her brother standing over the shoulder of a scout. He looked grim. His face that was usually full of light and laughter around her was gaunt and grey. Lunete wasn't sure what it was but something made her panic, made her run to her brother knowing that something was wrong, that someone was gone. The news was broken and Lunete broke down in tears. A wailing howl as though she was a wounded animal, calling out for mercy. Her mother had been involved in a car accident and after hours of trying to get her out of the vehicle she died at the scene. Lunette was lost. Her brothers had always looked out for her, always tried protecting her but there was no protecting her from this. A couple of weeks later the funeral was held and in that time Lunete applied to become an Auror. She wasn't going back to quidditch, she just couldn't. Law enforcement just felt like a natural option for her. It wasn't something she'd ever considered before but a reflection on her life, her loved ones and the world all pointed her in that direction. She thought of life as a Hit Witch but felt herself drawn to the Auror department. She applied for the academy, had an interview, health screening and was accepted not long after her mother's funeral. She started at the ministry the last week of July and has been training hard an fiercely ever since. Since then Lunete has been training hard. Her mother's death made her reevaluate her life and come to the conclusion that she needed to do something more with her life, but just at the end of her second year of training, Lunete came home to find her brother dead on the kitchen floor of the family home. She broke down. One of her worst fears come to life. A week later her boyfriend dumped her for being too emotional, or not handling it the way he expected her to, something she could have gotten over if it weren't for the fact that her now ex-boyfriends brother was the man that was teaching her to become an Auror. Fighting through her heartache, Lunete is determined not to make any rash decisions. She gave herself three months to decide if she was going to continue training to become an Auror as she seems less certain of that path in life if her job puts her loved ones at risk, but she's been convinced to at least see the training through and then reassess her choices.
