 Whatever they say your soul's unbreakable Echo pushed to the surface, laughter escaping with her first breath as she pushed water back from her face. Ollie seemed to enjoy her entrance, but her smile was short-lived when she heard the screeching caw of Whora Parkinson. Echo looked up to the edge of the pool to see the skank standing there like a drowned rat, and she snorted back a laugh. "If you don't wanna get wet, get away from the pool," Echo called back. She appreciated Ollie speaking up for her, and turned her back on Whora to focus on him instead. She gave him a quick roll of her eyes and then tried to get back on track. Dora had been drowned by the splash of someone jumping into the pool, and though she looked pissed, Leo couldn't help but feel desperate to see what had been broken inside the house. He rounded the pool and paused next to Dora, who now had zero chance of noticing him like he'd wanted her to. "Hey, I'll get you a towel," he said, slipping around her and rushing into the house. "What smashed?" he called to anyone in the area. A girl pointed towards the bar and he hurried through the kitchen and stopped in the doorway. “If you tried eating less...” she shrieked back but didn’t finish her insult. Instead, the wave of water from Echo’s more purposeful splash hit Dora in the face and there was no holding back. Like an enraged dolphin, Dora nose dived into the pool, arms outstretched in Echo’s direction. She closed her fist around the blonde’s hair dragged her under the water with her, bubbles floating to the surface as Dora screamed obscenities under the water.

Jasper looked his hand over, it was fine to him, perhaps a little pink but nothing to write home about, but apparently Lola and Dorian seemed to think he’d done something drastic to it. He looked at his hand again, it had barely touched the side of the barbecue, after all he’d only been patting it, but the way they were going on about it you’d have thought he was leaning on the grill, but Jasper could take a hint, or at least sometimes. It seemed to him that they wanted time to actually talk to one another, and if that was the case then he’d happily let them be, he was only offering Dorian a way out if he’d wanted it, he didn’t have to take it, and Jasper was more than happy to return to Geralina, “Well aren’t you two my saviours.” He said, pulling his hand back from a far too overdramatic Lola. “I’ll just get Ger her drink.” He chuckled, his laugh covered by the sounds of all kinds of commotion, but he’d just let people get on with whatever. He moved away from the barbecue and headed for the drinks where he poured himself and Geralina a punch each, giving it a quick taste, and headed back to the tall beauty, kind of wishing the commotion coming from near the pool would die down. “Here,” He said, handing the drink to Geralina, “What’s all the commotion about?” He asked, his brow furrowed with concern.

The idea of being at a nice afternoon part with friends was great, Gabe loved to spend time with his loved ones, but there was next to nothing in the world that was better than spending some private time alone with Freya. The table in the middle of the room somehow cracked and down went the party goers. Gabe cringed a little, it wasn’t a pretty sight, but people were picking themselves up and the place was full of qualified healers, so he was sure everyone would be fine. Freya took his hand and suggested they get away and Gabe led her out of the room like a couple of teenagers, sneaking around Hogwarts, trying not to get caught by a prefect or professor. “This here is the something or other, and over there the other of something.” He said, bullshitting his way through the house, “And upstairs are some marvellous bedrooms.” He said, wiggling his brown and turning the corner to the stairs, passing people by and trying not to disturb them too much. He reached a door and slowly opened it. There was no one inside but the room was dishevelled and so Gabe shut the door, “Occupied, I believe.” He chuckled, glad that he and Freya weren’t the only ones with thoughts other than the party on their minds.

Elle rounded the corner and found the stairs near to the entrance. She started making her way up, spotting an all too familiar face looking as though he would rather be just about anywhere else. Was it her? Was her mere presence causing him this much unrest? “Hey.” She said kind of timidly with a small smile. She didn’t want to scare him and she didn’t want to upset him anymore than she may have. “I just thought I’d come say ‘hi’ and see if maybe we could have a talk?” Just as the final word left her mouth she heard movement behind her. A couple hurried up the stairs hand in hand and Elle tried to flatten herself against the wall. Perhaps the stairs wasn’t the most private of places to talk, nor the most convenient.

There was a loud bang from inside and another big splash in the pool but Lunete was out of reach so it didn’t bother her in the slightest, however an unsuspecting party guest got a but damp and acted as though it was the biggest crime against humanity. Well she wasn’t short on drama! Chloe sat back, watching the drama of the pool unfold. She sipped on her drink, watching as the stick figure fell into the pool in her anger. Was it a fall or was it intentional? Chlo was right by the pool and even she couldn’t tell, but what she could tell was that this was the sort of drama she could not live without! A cute afternoon barbecue had certainly been improved by what most certainly was going to be a total bitch fest.
