She took the cup from him and peered inside, taking a tiny sip to see if she could detect alcohol. She couldn't tell if there was, so she took a bigger sip and turned her gaze back on the pool. She'd been watching the drama unfold, and it had been quite amusing until the dark haired girl had dragged the blonde under the water. It was kind of sad that they had nothing better to do, or that they couldn't try to get along for the sake of not ruining someone else's party, but it was none of her business, really. Gabe was already peeking into a bedroom, and he backed out quickly, announcing that it was occupied already. Frey's eyebrows rose. "Really? By who? she asked, moving around him to open the door again and poke her head around it. There was no one inside, but she could hear noises coming from the ensuite. Kiki landed on top of him and put her head down on his chest. For a short moment he was unable to speak, having had the wind knocked out of him by the force of their fall, but just as he got his breath back the witch began laughing and he knew she had not been hurt. At least not badly. “This was more fun,” he said arrogantly, as if falling off a table and breaking it mid-party had been some sort of well thought out ploy to get her to press up against him. He wasn’t that hard up to need to go to such lengths but if he had, she totally would have fallen for it.
“What happened?” Felix tilted his head in the direction of Leo’s voice to see the host of the party, and owner of the coffee table they’d just busted, looking down on them. “Just a little accident,” Felix admitted nonchalantly, resting his right hand on Kiki’s back and his head on his other hand. “Did you not want us dancing on the table? Because...” Felix made a face that basically said Leo was out of luck. Not only was table dancing a common party-time occurrence, but there was also another bloke doing almost the exact same thing on the bar as they spoke.

"Die bitch!” Dora screamed, though it came out gurgled as she was still underwater. Dora’s thin legs flailed beneath her, kicking Echo in the thigh just as Echo punched her hard in the boob. Dora retracted in pain, taking a clump of blonde hair with her as she broke the surface of the water, still screaming. “Fucking skank!” she shrieked, jumping onto Echo’s head and attempting to dunk her back under the water. Dora was perfectly capable of drowning the blonde skank, had hands not come between them to pull them apart.

Dora was shouting now and Ollie sighed. The girls never got on and the reasoning for it made little sense to him. Something about when they’d been in school together...it seemed juvenile and when Ollie Devereaux thinks something is childish you knew there was a problem. Splashing and insults were being sent back and forth and Ollie tried talking over them, to calm Dora down but soon enough Dora was in the pool and Ollie was treading water with his mouth open in disbelief. He knew Dora was scrappy, but damn! The women came up for air and Ollie moved in, thinking they must have gotten it out of their system when Dora pounced once more, and Sully hollered at him to get his girl. Where was he even supposed to start? They were a tangle of skinny legs and arms and Ollie simply reacted. With vampiric speed he pried Dora’s fingers from Echo’s hair and pulled the blonde to the far end of the pool and up onto the patio. “Are you okay?” he asked urgently, brushing wet hair out of her face. Dora was still screaming and thrashing about in the pool, and Ollie turned Echo away from her.

Dorian turned to watch as the commotion in the pool grew louder, more vulgar words being spewed by the brunette who seemed to have come out of nowhere to cause chaos at the barbecue. He vaguely recognized her as the reception witch from this Ministry atrium, but other than that he knew nothing of her or what slight the blonde in the pool had made against her. Dorian watched in disgust at the display before turning back to the grill, shaking his head. “Where Leo meets these people...” he complained, mostly to himself, not realizing it was the young healer beside him who had inadvertently introduced the pair at last year’s barbecue.

He shook his head at them, finding a tiny chip on one corner, but nothing else wrong with the table. Relieved, he pushed it to one side of the room. "It's fine," he said, straightening up and watching the young guy gyrating on his bar, his hand stretched out towards Dorcas Meadowes. The bar would crack next, Leo could just see it now. "Everybody!" he called, wanting to make sure everyone in the room got the message. "I want you all to have fun, but if you break it, you buy it," he said, snatching up his prized healer award from the mantelpiece and walking out of the room to find somewhere safe to hide it. He opened the cupboard door in the hall but found Ant in there with a cute blonde. "Is this a barbeque or a brothel?" he said, shutting the door on them and heading upstairs to stow his more expensive breakables in his bedroom.
