When people gossip about the Slytherin boy they are quick to make fun of his reclusive nature. Making snide comments that he must think himself so high and mighty of himself because of his vast knowledge in everything magical. When you hear those comments for so long, you begin to believe it. He is aware that people were uncomfortable because of his intelligence, but used the fact he was a loner to gang up on him.Due to his upbring and the same brutal actions that he experienced at Hogwarts, it was second nature to mistrust others and their intentions. He found he worked better off alone, further isolating himself. But through all of these traumatic events he had to experience in his life, he learned how to use his wit effectively and become rather cunning at a early age. Through having to deal with his school yard bullies, he learned how to fight not only with magic and fist but with sarcasm. But he also developed a nasty habit of being rather vindictive. Despite being judged so harshly, he had to learn to carry himself with grace and dignity. When he found something that he loved, he would be dedicated himself to it and would defend it until his dying breath. He was passionate and driven, and he holds others to follow through just the same or else they are not going very far in life. [break][break]

[attr="class","alibitext"]With her mother being the role model that she has never stopped looking up to, Carmen as become a smart and independent woman. When she sets a goal, she aims high but has the resolve to know it is going to take hard work to reach those goals. Being in the field work of a healer, you learn to be more compassionate and sympathetic, but you also have to be quick on your feet. As a added bonus. she has honed the ability to think in high pressure situation over the years in a hospital.

Leaving work out of it, she is a simple woman. She enjoys her down time and living minimalistic. Over years she has discovered that she can not stand the sound of silence, drowning it out to music to keep her spirits up. She never can sit still for every long and thankfully Jazlynn keeps her on her toes all the time. She always felt like she was normal…atleast until recently. When Nick caused her content life to scatter around her, she realized just how much she was hold back. Her fear was controlling her life. Her anxiety keeping her from doing things out side of her comfort zones. It was making her become impulsive[break][break]

[attr="class","alibitext"]The one thing that really sticks out about Max is that she is very Whimsical. Her playful demeanor started to show when she was a toddler; her tiny body always dancing, clapping, and laughing. Now that she is a bit older, she has developed a vast sense of humor. Her poetic wit sharp to be able to keep her friends entertained. Some may thing she is a bit odd, most of the time she exaggerates her body and facial expression making her into a goof ball. She is quick to make herself the jester and poke fun at herself just to see others to smile. If it wasn’t for her humor, she feels like she would not have any friends.

Typically when meeting people for the first time, she is a bit shy. When she is not sure how they would react to her quirky ways, she get nervous and very self conscience. It takes a while for her to make friends when its one on one but whenever she has her friends around, she feels a bit better about opening up and being herself around them. However, once they are friend, she thinks of them as family. She loves having her friends around and will do anything for them…all they have to do is ask. Thanks to the upbringing from her grandmother, she has learned to be compassionate to others.

She can be a bit headstrong and carried away when it comes to her friends and family. She takes it upon herself to defend or stand up for them even if they don’t ask her. Most think it is endearing but her passion by get her into a dangerous situation one day.[break]

Another snakey, but again the same year as Ollie, she's a Pureblood elitist though not nearly as bad as most of them, but then she wouldn't have known Ollie's blood status, so I reckon she'd have been nice enough to him. She's a free spirit and loves to go on adventures and have fun, she's always traveling and is a photographer, so I think she'd actually get on really well with Ollie. Friends so long as she doesn't find out he's half vamp?

Geralina Amara Drake & @oli

She's 8 years older than Ollie, but she's good friends with Kit through them being in the Order together, so I imagine these two would have seen each other a bit if she was visiting Kit at home or something. She's on the quieter side but she's really sweet and she'd like Ollie and probably find him easy to talk to.

I also have Tersha Alara Knight and Julian Astraeus Blackthorne , but I can't think of anything for those two at the moment, feel free to throw plots at me if you can think of anything, though. <3

Liv is Fin's cousin, and she's a DE supporter, so she's probably seen Sev around whenever she's hanging out with Fin, and she'd remember him being included in their little friendship circles at school, so she'd be friendly with him, she'd think he's a bit weird, but she's very open minded so she'd be kind to him, a little bit blunt, but nice. Haha

Same house only a year apart. She hates him! She thinks he’s gross and unkept. The scruffy look is just appalling and the fact that he’s half blood only makes matters that much worse. She would have avoided completely. So really just sort of know one another but never really interacted and this was almost entirely pointless xD HOWEVER! -just thought- he does chat to her cousin - Dora - so maybe once Jovi is graduated they can have an awkward interaction LOL!

Friends! Lenore’s my Potions Professor. She’s a little kooky but absolutely sweet and adorable. As soon as Carmen started she would have reached out to her to befriend her!

She was the year above Snapey but Gryffindor. They probably wouldn’t have had many interactions but she would have been kind enough to pick up his books if certain shit heads knocked them out of his arms etc. She’d of course have been holding back laughter and just smile and if he was an arse about it she’d probably hex him with a binding spell and leave him where he was xD

Ex’s! Good terms! Started dating April of his seventh year and her sixth year. He cheered for her at Quidditch practice and matches and she loved his support. They dated all through the summer until she had to return to school and decided that neither was really going to keep it going and that actually, they worked way better as friends and that’s where they are now, good friends!

I think these two could be friends, Max is a year younger but Echo would adore her bright, fun ways and be drawn to her for that. She'd hang out with her around the castle and I can see them being silly together sneaking into the kitchens to make snacks and just laughing the whole time.

Again, Leif would love her fun ways, and he'd really like how she seems so upbeat and positive a lot of the time,because he's pretty good himself at finding the positives in most situations. He's not as energetic about it as Max is, though, and he'd find it a tiny bit tiring after a while, but he'd enjoy her company in shorter bursts. Lol Friends?

Geralina Amara Drake & @carmen

Work buddies! Geralina has worked at the castle for a year and a half now as the librarian, so she would have been someone to welcome Carmen when she started as a Healer. She's a bit quiet and on the shy side, though tries her best to force herself out of her shell with new people, since she hates being the awkward one and wants to be more confident in social situations. She'd find Carmen fascinating because she's from America, and really enjoy chatting to her and generally just listening to her accent. LOL She makes a great friend, though, so these two could definitely be building themselves a nice little friendship, and they're around the same age, too. I could see them being really good friends.

Tersha Alara Knight & @carmen

Tersha is kind of American, too! She was born in England, lived in America for ten years until she got her Hogwarts letter, then went back to England for school, so she has a weird half accent, but yeah, they totally have that in common. XD Plus, they're the same age. Tersha can be a bit of a bitch, though, she's a writer for the Daily Prophet and has an advice column, too, she's super blunt and will walk all over anyone to get what she wants, BUT! I can see her hearing Carmen's accent in the street and being all "Oooh, an American!" and being nice and chatting to her, so if you ever fancy having them run into each other somewhere, they could potentially be friends! XD

He's the new Astronomy Professor! He started in September after the old professor Paris died last summer. He's friendly and confident and smart, and he'd get on really well with Carmen if they got chatting. They're the same age, and he's traveled a lot and lived in Italy and France, so he'd appreciate her being from another country, he likes that kind of thing. They could definitely be friends! =)

I feel like Remus is familiar with too many healers, but... he's gotten pretty adept at taking care of himself during the full moons, but sometimes it can still get really bad, especially if the guys aren't around, so occasionally, he finds himself in St Mungo's. And while he doesn't tell anyone about the werewolf thing if he can help it, maybe they are familiar with each other?

@oli & @junebug
There's gotta be something between a werewolf and a half vampire, right? Do we know if they can tell what the other is? This could be fun to explore if they can. Otherwise, Oliver has just a little too much energy for Remus to be entirely comfortable around him, so I'm not sure they'd get along too well.

Severus Theodisius Snape & @junebug
All I will say is that Remus thinks they actually have a lot in common, with their quiet and reclusive natures, and while Remus got lucky and had great, popular friends in school, he understands the bullying and being judged before anyone gets to know him, especially now in the 'real world.' He'd relate to Snape on a few levels. He also feels really guilty that he never stepped in and stopped Sirius and James from tormenting him, especially after Sirius send him to the Shrieking Shack during a full moon (but if it makes him feel better, Remus really laid into Sirius about that one). Anyway, enemies, of course, but I can see Remus trying to make amends or at least find neutral ground. I'm also SUPER tempted to take your open thread.

Friendly! I don't know how much effort Carmen might put in to getting to know Gus but he'd be friendly and welcoming to her and have a chat whenever she's about. Probably pop in and see her when he's got a few poisonous beasts lines up for a lesson so she can get some anti-venoms or whatever prepared *just in case*

Carmen is still fairly new to England and is currently working as the lead healer within Hogwarts, but will take a shift or two at St. Mungo's when the castle is too quiet. Maybe on one of those rare days she could have treated Remus after a rough night. She overhears the others healers gossiping about him being a werewolf, and she digs into his records to find out his story,taking pity on the boy when she finds out about his past. With how the wizarding community treats those who are effected by Lycanthropy, she wants to help him, but not sure how without coming across overbearing or making him feel uncomfortable. In the end, she sent him on his way with a clean bill of health and her phone number, just in case he needs anything.

ohhhhhh this could be interesting! I am sure with their heightened senses, they can pick up on each others ...differences. Oli is slightly older but they went to the same school, so maybe he started to pick up on it there but was never able to pin point where it was coming from. Now and days, the boy is forever outdoors so maybe one day he is camping in the middle of the woods dangerously close to the full moon around Remus's spot??

@junebug && Severus Theodisius Snape
Sev is too on edge around him because of his affiliation with James and Sirius, making it a point to stay far away from Remus after that night the goons treated him into the shack. It will be interesting to see these two alone together, please do take the thread

Hazel Winifred Vector & Severus Theodisius Snape -- did he take Charms? If so, Hazel would have been his professor. She would definitely recognize his brilliance and tried to reach out when she noticed he wasn't doing well socially with the other kids.
