 Do a little dance, make a little love get down tonight Eric tightened the laces of his trainers, needing them to hold fast to his feet through all the dancing he was going to be doing tonight. He had a week off work and rather than just going out to clubs, he'd decided to bring the fun to him. He hadn't thrown a party in forever. It was the beginning of summer, the sun was shining in the valley, what other excuse did he need? There were no birthdays or other special occasions, just a guy with a unscratchable itch, an insatiable need to burn up a dance floor in a room full of people he actually knew and liked. He'd built a small shed especially for the occasion, which sat at the edge of his property, nestled in the trees not far from the path that led to his hut. He picked up the obnoxiously huge sign that had "PARTY PEOPLE!" painted on it with a big arrow pointing downwards, and hooked it to the roof of the shed over the door. Eric opened the door and stepped inside the magically enhanced room. Inside it was more like a massive barn than a shed, twinkling lights strung from the walls and ceiling. A bar had been set up in the far corner, and Eric had hired a couple of bartenders to serve his guests for the evening. Sula was letting loose tonight! She had nothing on and she was ready to party! She wasn't on call, she wasn't working tomorrow and she had no obligations that required her to be present in any way, so she was going to have a rocking time at her brother's party tonight and she was going to shake off all the cares of the world and just focus on having a little fun. She recalled the details to herself as she appeared at his place and it was dead silent. She walked to the tree line where she saw the new shed nestled and the excitement began to bubble inside. There was a sign that just screamed Eric sat out the front and she knew she was in the right place, she let herself in to discover she was the first one there and her brother was tearing up the dance floor the only way a Bell could - epically. "Ricky!" Sula squealed. She felt as though it had been an age since she'd been able to catch up with her older brother but she was excited to see him. She ran at him in her heels and pounced at her older brother holding on for dear life.

"Get down tonight, woo!" Sage sang as she danced about her apartment, "You ready, Ty?" Sage was going to Eric's party tonight, it felt like the start of summer was finally happening and she couldn't wait to see what it was going to be like. She'd been told it was in some shed or something, but she didn't care, she was just after a night out while praying that no one she worked with would be there, but what were the chances of that happening? She didn't want to think about it, she just wanted to have fun. "Tyyyyy!" She called, stomping her foot a little impatiently at the front door. Her sister ran into view and Sage grabbed her arm, "That's cute." She said, but she knew Thyme wasn't going to pay any attention to what she thought of her outfit.
Off out the door and apparating to a remote area, Sage looked about and trod across the grass to a tree line where a shed was stood. It was cuter than she imagined and a hell of a lot smaller, but maybe this was just for the muggles, to deter them from looking in, nope, there was a big sign out the front that you couldn't miss, "This is it!" She beamed excitedly, tugging Thyme, it had been a while since she'd been to a party, sadly. Sage opened the barn door and the second she stepped in she could see the wonder of the barn. Eric had done a spectacular job decorating, and it was so simple yet elegant, she was kind of surprised. She spotted Eric on the dance floor with someone else and she gave him a quick wave while Thyme let go of her arm and made a beeline for the bar at the back.

Thyme wasn't sure what tonight was going to be like, her sister had said it was an old school friend that had invited her to his party tonight, but Sage and her friends were all a bit older than Thyme however she wasn't really going to pass up the opportunity to have a good time, especially while she had no obligations this weekend. So she got dressed and she made her way to what turned out to be some barn in the middle of nowhere with her sister. As soon as they were inside, Thyme spotted the bar and she let go of her sister's arm and made her way over, "Scotch, neat." She said to the bar tender. She was going to kick of this party right.

Yes! A night out with her big bro! Nala loved Kiki but the woman had taken Sully to a party instead of her while she was going through a throughly shitty rough patch in her relationship and so Nala would never forgive her for that ... well she would, she did, Nala didn't really hold a grudge against her siblings, but she was still excited for a night out without her girlfriend, which caused yet another argument before she left for Sully's place, but she'd deal with the aftermath tomorrow, or in a few days, whatever. The school holidays were upon them and that meant lots of free time. Nala had a steady pay check coming in and absolutely no work to do for it. She absolutely had the easiest job at Hogwarts and she loved it. She never had to change up her lesson plans and when she wanted to wow the students she could get her brother in for a visit, sending the quidditch fans, and the Sully fans, absolutely nuts. She was easily the best teacher at Hogwarts and fully deserved a 'Professor' title, but sports got little recognition. "So what kind of thing is this?" She asked Sully, leaning over Sully's bathroom sink to get a better look at herself in the mirror, steadily applying a touch of lipstick.

She ran at him with a grin, and Eric caught her as she leapt towards him. "Ursy!" He spun her around, dropping her into a disco dip, then setting her on her feet again as he continued to boogie. "How'd I know you'd be the first here?" he said, grinning. She wasn't the first for long. People started filing through the door and Eric was pleased to see they were taking the "bring your mates" note on the invite seriously. Yesss. This party was going to be epic. He stuck his hand in the air to return Sage's wave, his other hand propelling Sula into a twirl.  Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore The last party he had gone to with a sibling had ended up in him being ditched in a strangers house and said stranger ending up with a broken table curtesy of said sibling. Tonight, he was trying a different sibling. He only had two, so it wasn't much of a choice, but he hoped Nala would be better behaved than Kiki had. Eric Bell was a cool guy. Sully didn't remember how long they had been friends, but it felt like forever, and he hoped it would last for longer than that. He pulled a red t-shirt on as Nala fussed in his bathroom, getting ready. "Invite says something about a shed," he called back to Nala as she asked what type of party they were going to tonight. "Or was it a barn?" he couldn't remember. Either way, he was sure it would be fun. Eric was, what was the word? Eccentric? Enthused? Exuberant about parties? He'd throw a good party wherever it was, that was for sure. Sully ran a hand through his loose hair and headed out of his room, rapping on the bathroom door. "Are you ready?" he asked, eager to get going.  Stay out, and we'll live forever now Party in a barn! Not his usual style, but Leo was excited to have a night out. Eric was a cool guy. Leo had healed a few injuries for the guy and even gotten an invite to pet a few Welsh Green dragons. Having a Dragonologist for a friend was pretty cool. Barn dances and all. Leo had used the bring your mates note on the invitation to take full advantage. He'd asked Dora to go with him, not necessarily as his date, though he would have liked her to be that. She was going through a lot lately, and he'd been there for her as much as he could. A distraction would do her good. There was nothing at this party that could hurt her or throw her back in her progress beating her vampire addiction, and Leo would be the only one there who knew about her struggles. She could get drunk, dance all night, do whatever she wanted and forget about it all for a while, and he wanted to be there to help her with the fun stuff, too. He'd also asked Jasper to go, and naturally, Jasper had asked his crush to come with him, and some other guy called Everett that Leo didn't know. Leo didn't care if Jas brought ten people as long as they hurried up. He had picked Dora up at her house and apparated them both to Eric's hut, and now the pair sat on a small bench not far from a tiny shed nestled in the trees, waiting for Jasper and his people to arrive. Meg went on a quick hunt around her apartment for some comfier shoes. There was no way she could dance in the heels she was currently wearing. She found a pair of lower ones and shoved her feet into them before heading back to her friends. Colleagues. Whatever they were. She hadn't expected to get along so well with the people she worked with, but Nora was a dream, and Aspen was a force to be reckoned with, but in a good way. They'd had the best girly afternoon together getting ready for her brother's party and getting a little bit tipsy in advance. She and Nora had given Aspen a full on makeover for the event and she looked incredible, if Meg did say so herself. Eric wasn't going to know what hit him having a bunch of professional dancers crash his barn dance, but Meg was sure he'd love it. Aspen would be teaching him how to pirouette by the end of the night. "Shall we head out?" she asked. "Before I'm too drunk to apparate?" She'd also invited her school friend, Donny, to go. She hadn't intended to but having ice cream in Fortescue's had got her chatting and she'd ended up asking him to go, so he was going to meet them there.  Sometimes I feel like giving up but I just can't, it isn't in my blood Flynn had been looking forward to Eric's party all week. He'd finished work early, getting in at the crack of dawn so he could get everything done on time, and written Eric's address down for Lex and Angel before he'd headed home to change. Eric was a good mate, but him living in the middle of nowhere in Wales meant that Flynn didn't get to see him as much as he'd like. They'd gone out and burned holes in the Starlight dance floor just a few weeks ago, but a private party was way better. Flynn hoped Eric had invited some hotties and he was sure Lex and Angel would be hoping for the same. He made himself a quick tea, not wanting to drink on an empty stomach, and got changed, doing a spin and admiring himself in the hallway mirror before heading out. He disapparated, arriving at Eric's hut with a pop. A couple were sitting on the bench in the front garden, but Flynn glided on by, heading for what looked like an outdoor toilet in the treeline. Flynn burst out laughing as he pulled the door open, poking his head inside to find a jazzed up barn. Nice. His grin was wide as he spotted Eric already dancing with his sister, the room filling up nicely already. Flynn spun into the room and boogied across the barn, singing along to the music loudly until he arrived at the little bar in the back corner. He stopped next to a brunette beauty and gave her a cheeky smile. "Throw me a beer," he said to one of the bartenders Eric had hired for the night. Sula gained at Eric and planted her feet back on the floor when he set her down. Sula loved all her siblings but she was able to have a fun and more playful relationship with Eric more than any of the others. He was a blast, a total people person and a great guy. He spun her into a twirl and Sula struck a pose as he called his friend. Sula gave Eric a quick peck on the cheek, wanting to let him catch up with his friends. “I’m going to check that out!” She said, pointing to the karaoke machine, spotting a little book by the machine. Hellz yeah! She thought cheerily as she made her way over to the little stage, spying microphones near by. Oh man, this was going to be epic!

Sage glanced at Ty who was making herself at home at the bar and then looked back to Eric who was calling her over. She walked onto the dance floor with a grin and open arms and gave Eric a squishy hug. “You look great, darling!” She said, giving a little wiggle, not wanting to be on the dance floor without dancing, “This place is amazing!” She boogied to the music. She loved the barn! It was so simple but beautiful, definitely an amazing place for a party.

Ty watched the bartender making her drink. He was cute, not the cutest she’d ever seen, but if there was no talent at this thing tonight then she’d take him out the back and have her wicked way with him. No sooner had she thought that he placed her drink down and someone stepped up to the bar next to her. She turned her head to see if it was Sage but the smell of his cologne caught her before she saw him. He gave her a wink and a cheeky smile and ordered a drink. “Well hey there handsome. How’s the evening treating you?” She asked and then took a mouthful of her scotch. He was a tasty morsel if ever there was one, definitely a damn sight hotter than the bar guy.

Nala capped her lipstick as Sully called out to her and put it down on Sully’s bathroom sink. A quick pout in the mirror, a tussle of her hair and she was ready to go. “A shed?” She said, scrunching her face a little. A shed or a barn, that seemed weird, but whatever, as long as it was a good party, she’d be happy. As Sully knocked on the door, asking if she was ready, Nala pulled the door open, “Yes! I’m ready! Don’t bang the bloody door down.” She said, running her fingers through her hair and giving it a little shake. “Remember, what happens tonight is all hush-hush,” She said, looking back at him as she made her way through his house, “I don’t want Abby finding out about this, she’ll shit a brick.” She said, rolling her eyes and linking an arm with Sully. Her girlfriend wanted to stay in and talk, but Nala had told her she already had plans with Sully, and while she loved her girlfriend, Nala wasn’t sure if the talk they needed to have was going to be a good one or not. Probably not, to be fair, their relationship was rocky to say the least and going out tonight was only going to put a bigger strain on it.

Another party, another invite extended to Geralina that she took! Jasper was kind of excited that she’d agreed to come with him again, although once more it was not a date. He was far too chicken to ask her on an actual date, and besides, she’d been Tristan’s girlfriend, he still felt as though he couldn’t go there, but they’d have a wonderful night, hopefully better than the barbecue, Jasper appreciated that she stepped outside of her comfort zone for him, though. It was very sweet of her.
Jasper knocked on her door and Geralina appeared, a stunning vision as always and Jasper walked her to the end of her path and into Hogsmeade, chatting about all the things that had happened since they’d last seen one another, talking about their latest books and what they thought this party was going to be like. Jasper called for the Knight Bus as he had no real idea where he was headed beyond an address. When the bus dropped them off, Jasper looked around the field to the small little shed sitting with a rather large party sign. “I guess this is the spot.” He said, butterflies flapping about in his stomach, praying that this was the right place, thankfully he spotted Leo and … Dora? Yes, Dora Parkinson waiting on a bench near by. “Evening.” He said with a smile, hoping that Dora would put a damper on this evening like she had Leo’s party.
