James Henry Potter & Dorian Michael Humbert -- If James is looking to become an Auror, he's going to know Dorian. The Auror Academy takes three years to complete but Dorian managed it in just over a year; a department record. He's been an agent for well over a decade now and this past year he was given charge of the Auror Academy, so he'll be one of James' instructors. He's good for a study partner too, and willing to help out anyone in the department that needs it, so we can have some training sessions or general professional chats. James Henry Potter & Euphadora Rose Parkinson -- She was a couple years ahead of him in school, and in different houses so they probably didn't hang out much. Current Dora would think it absolutely brilliant, though, if we could say they slept together once before he got on with Lily. She'd like to be able to stick that in Lily's face one day. I also have Rodolphus Adalrich Lestrange who is about 10 years older than James and a Death Eater, and Lyra Ophelia Genevieve Burke who is about four years older and would be absolutely disgusted at the news that James (who she probably barely even knows outside of pureblood events) is marrying a muggleborn. If you have any plot ideas for either of them, I am all ears.

James Henry Potter & Dorian Michael Humbert -- things just come too easy for james, perhaps he's passing well enough in the academy, but it's obvious he's not giving it his all? he's pretty much just floated by on life so far, and never really had anyone to give him that extra push and actually try (except for lily, but that's completely different). so mentor definitely? obviously there will be some things james wont be able to tell him he can do/items he has in his possession but i'm sure they can still work well together. James Henry Potter & Euphadora Rose Parkinson -- lol they could have slept together once in school. of course, if she does decide to rub it in lily's face, james will come back just as quickly that he can't remember dora so she mustn't have been that good anyways. and he realy can't remember half the girls he slept with in school. for him, they were just quick shags and done. as for Rodolphus Adalrich Lestrange ..... may they confront each other later in duels or something? james and lily are supposed to defy voldemort three times. maybe one of those times involves him? we can always work something out with that later. and last Lyra Ophelia Genevieve Burke james says he has no idea who the hell you are, go back to your stuck up inbred parties and go away. he'd more than likely just roll his eyes at her and ignore her in all honesty lol

Echo Arista Everwood & James Henry Potter He was a year older than her at school, and she's super into Quidditch so they'd have had that in common. She's fun and down to earth, and she's friends with Lily, so they'd have had plenty to get along with and would have probably made decent friends. Finley Charles Avery & James Henry Potter Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Hate. Thatisall. Christopher Erebus Devereaux & James Henry Potter Aurors and Order Members. Kit is happy to help James out with any of his training. They're polar opposites in personality, but Kit is a good guy and would be friendly and helpful towards James. Geralina Amara Drake & James Henry Potter I'm sure we used to have something fun plotted for these two along the lines of him giving her tips on where the best makeout spots are in the school library so she can catch kids in the act and embarrass them. LOL But yeah, Order, she's a good bit older than him but very lovely and friendly and quiet and all that, but she'd find him easy to talk to. They'd get on alright. Livia Eleanor Grace Burke & James Henry Potter She's a couple of years older than him and a Slytherin, they might remember each other from around school but she wouldn't have approved of him getting involved with Lily, she's part of an elitist family, but she's a lot more easy going with the rules than her siblings and parents, but she'd have still raised an eyebrow at him getting engaged to a Mudblood. XD I also have Tersha Alara Knight who is a journalist for the Prophet, and Julian Astraeus Blackthorne who is a werewolf, but I've got no plot ideas for them with James at the moment. Echo Arista Everwood & James Henry Potter friendly rivalry!! i can see james treating her like a kid sister. if gryffindor beat them in a match, james would have been a good sport and gone up to her with some advice if he noticed something off. gotta keep the game friendly unless its with slytherin. i believe we also plotted out that he helped her with transfiguration as well, because that was totally his subject. granted he took divination's as well, but it was just a class to sleep in and better prepare to do some illegal shiznits. James Henry Potter & @jaspers He's a seasoned Auror and an all around nice guy. Most things roll off of his shoulders, and with four younger siblings he's no stranger to pranks, just fair warning that if a prank war begins Jasper will finish it. He's here for you if you need anything. He's also Leif's older brother so if James and Leif were mates, then that's good enough for Jasper. I also have @artemis a healer at St. Mungos and Jasper's little sister. She's 25 and just got back from the states. If James gets into a scrape she primarily works the emergency care for hit wizards and aurors, but she also works in the creature - induced incidents when things are slow.

James Henry Potter & @bellal Could always use a villian!! Perhaps she sees James as being responsible for 'turning' Sirius away from the family? Or at the very least, pulling him away completely? As I mentioned with Rodolphus, James'll need to defy Voldemort, perhaps she can be a part of that too? If we ever do something like that?
James Henry Potter & @jaspers Someone'll need to keep an eye on James. I can see these two getting on well enough, with James being almost like another younger sibling to him.

Dorcas Amilie Meadowes and James Henry Potter So these two would mostly know one another form the Order. He is a baby auror in training too in his first year so he may have seen her around at the ministry but she wouldn't pay him any attention there unless she had to avoid any suspicion that they know one another outside of work. She's 9 years older than him so yeah! @lenore and James Henry Potter Lenore would have been James' Potions Professy! Yay! She's lovely and bubbly and I think she would have thought James was just lovely! Lunete Penelope Dearborn and James Henry Potter Lunete is a second year auror in training so they could know one another from there! She's a muggle born and she has at least 2 brothers in the Order who are both very protective of her. Caradoc (who hasn't been taken yet) and Tristan Jude Dearborn . She doesn't know about the Order yet and her only focus at the moment is getting the heck through all this training! Oh, and making some friends along the way! Also up for plots but I have nothing are: Lilith A. C. Lestrange who was 5 years above James and a Ravenclaw. Jovian Isobel Corrine Rowle who's Head Girl and Slytherin the year below James. Emily Jane Meadowes and André Daniel Meadowes who are both secretly in the Order but Dorcas doesn't know that yet and neither do the baby Order members yet so James wouldn't either. And lastly Vienna Phoebe Rosier who is a 28 year old Death Eater!

Well ... do I even have to write something here? Yeah ... plot idea of their friendship ... Sirius wants not to think, James helps by distracting him. That's how I see the Snape prank from canon, anyway. James = his better half, the better of the duo, the one that should get all he dreams of, and the one that, despite all of the love, Sirius wants to be more like.
Sirius = a battered nutter who tries to make everyone believe that he can just brush off everything that life threw at him without a care, the one that puts up a huge smile and wonders away skipping when it breaks him apart. He's physical towards James, leans on him a lot, hugs a lot, jumps on him in excitement, if they haven't seen each other in a day, he'll run towards him as soon as he sees him. "Down boy, down!"
Endless puns and pranks and motorcycle rides, wing men to each other although James is engaged, for Sirius's sake he'll talk to girls at the pub or get Lily to tag along. Fellow Auror's and Order members, they fight side by side, covering each other's backs, Sirius going ballistic at anyone who dares to throw a hex at James.

This. All of this. All of it. Must have. James loves Sirius. They're soulmates, lets be honest here. He would honestly be the same way; jumping on Sirius if he hasn't seen him in a while (a few hours, because he can't handle, okay?). He would have been sad to see his friend move out, because honestly, Sirius living with him was probably the best thing EVER (next to Lily saying Yes obvs) and now... his partner in crime isn't there. But at the same time, he would have been supportive of his friend wanting to be on his own and would have helped him move and get furniture for the place.
James wants to argue and say that Sirius is the one that deserves to have all the good things happen to him. He's the one that was dealt a bad hand in life, and it's high time something good happens to him.
As far as being the better of the two, James says that Sirius is a good guy... that just makes some bad mistakes (pointedly ignores the whole Snape/Remus Fiasco). But no ones perfect, and James has made his fair share of mistakes. The point is, they all eventually learn from them.
But I foresee these two getting into all sorts of new troubles. They can have each others backs while out on the field as Aurors. Giving Lily gray hairs... but not too many, because he loves the red. He chose him as his best man for his wedding, and he'll be the Godfather to his kids.

So, a thread idea would be James helping Sirius pick up some furniture and then getting to talking. Nothing major just to get the feel of these two. Maybe James didn't ask Sirius yet to be the best man or maybe Sirius just needs a cooker that he can work and James, living with a muggle born could help him choose, or plan the bachelor party, or whatever. Just so we get these two in the same room and catch up. I'm down for whatever, even the drumstick thing, we can plot what led to it and how it ended. Let me know and I'll start a thread sometime today.

I looked at it in my sleep and totally forgot about it.

Though seriously, he would have paid more attention in her class before he took his OWLs simply because he was making an illegal potion; not that many people realized that. Lunete Penelope Dearborn and James Henry Potter If she doesn't know about the Order, James won't be the one to tell her. He'll be very friendly with her though. He's a pureblood, but he's engaged to a muggleborn, and he's never once believed in any of that blood purity crap that others like to talk about. He thinks it's silly. Maybe they can help each other out in their training? Not sure if there is anything we can do with Lilith A. C. Lestrange , but we can always see what happens! A s I mentioned in Sirius' plotter, Remus owes pretty much everything to the boys. ALSO, according to JK, James has been helping Remus financially since he can't seem to keep a job down, and I love this so much. Remus would hate it and try to refuse the help, but godric knows the kid needs it. So he's in the cheapest flat he could find... etc, etc. Really, he adores James and has since the beginning.

James' parents have like, 9 rooms. Okay... Remus just needs to get his furry little ass over to the Potter Manor and live there with James. And he can stay living there even after James moves in with Lily or he can come live with them. James doesn't care.
And if Remus INSISTS on living alone... James would totally move him to a nicer part of town, pay for everything and just tell Remus he got it for cheap. Just shut up and deal with it Moony!!!
James is the type of friend that if Remus forgot that ONE piece of homework because of a Full moon, he would have turned in his own homework under Remus' name and take the detention in his place. And then he'd just play stupid about the whole thing and be like 'I didn't do the homework... you did' and just stick to his story. While he's not as close to Remus as he is Sirius, he still loves him like a brother.
