Once was not plenty. In no definition of any word ever was 'once' anywhere near 'plenty'. They were antonymic, for Merlin's sake! It didn't matter what Dorian thought, anyway, because Dorcas was going to find a way to get Dorian in a nightclub, he wasn't as dull as he wanted everyone to think he was. Dora ran a finger teasingly down her neck, and Tam felt the pull of her heartbeat as it pulsed sweet, hot blood through her jugular. He resisted, something that came easily after a few hundred years of practice. His smirk was lazy as he watched her, then when she was close enough Tam's arm reached out impossibly fast and gripped her wrist, pulling her down onto the sofa with him. He flipped her over with vampiric reflexes, and was on top of her, likely before she even realized what had happened. Tam's hands found hers and pinned them over her head, golden eyes tracing the pale skin at her neck, the fastenings on her top having fell down low enough for him to see the veins tracing down to her breasts. Her heart thumped wildly, and Tam's tongue gently ran over her chest, climbing higher at a pace that would be excruciatingly slow for her.
