Okay, she had just rambled like a crazy person at one of the most talented people she’d ever seen play quidditch and Lunete was entirely ready to apologise for being a huge pain in the arse and she’d let him be. Much to her surprise he was really chilled out, even offering her a burger. She couldn’t refuse a burger from The Sullinator! “Oh, cool. Thanks very much” She smiled, taking the other burger from the plate and unafraid of taking a bite. The moment she did she couldn’t help but think she needed to learn to cook better, she was okay, but nothing she could make was as delicious as this burger. “Sorry, it’s your day off, you shouldn’t have to be dealing with blabbing fans.” She chuckled, “I’m Lunete, but people call me Lu or Nete.” She said, hoping she wasn’t being too much of an imposing prat!

Lunete laughed a little nervously as Lo pushed her along and she looked back at Ollie and Echo as Ollie commented he was a star too. Lunete knew that, and as much as she loved Ollie, he wasn't a Quidditch legend that she'd admired since she was a kid. "Hi," She said, grinning like an absolute star-struck moron, fully believing that she was wasting a quidditch god's time, "I just wanted to say I am such a hug fan of yours." although she didn't want to be a bother, she couldn't help but gush a little more, "I was in the stands when you did the Ronski Blitz into the tree table, into the krab-dive and into the somersault blind-knoof against The Wasps in '74." She said, although he hadn't been a Kestrel back then. "It was amazing!" It wasn't the only match she'd seen him play in, but that was one of the most incredible dodge-hit-dodge-double hit combos that she'd seen in her life. Her dad used to take her to quidditch matches and he too had grown a love for the sport, being a muggle he'd never heard of Quidditch until Doc had turned him on to the sport and convinced him to take them to a match, from then on, he was as obsessed with the sport as much as any of his children. Her dad was going to freak out when he heard that she'd met the legendary Kal Sullivan at a random barbecue!

Lunete nodded her head like she completely knew that she was batting above her average. "I know, I know, that's why I'm here." she said, "Gotta keep an eye on my man, make sure no one tries snogging his adorable face off." She said with a chuckle. She raised her glass and drank. She wasn't into Abe, no way. He was far too old for her, but she'd play along with the joke, she wasn't above a little bar fun in that sense, and it wasn't as if she'd have to actually take him home or anything so there was no harm.

One after the other they all arrived, and some guy that stood on his lonesome. Lunete felt a pang of pity for him but it was soon gone when a loud pop made her jump and Johnny nearly landed on the backs of Echo and Ollie. Lunete let out a somewhat nervous chuckle before taking a deep breath, apparently she was a little more on edge than even she had realised, but never mind, Johnny was at her side, getting very friendly, "Hey Jon-Jon." She smiled, a little relieved that she wasn't the only muggleborn there, and at least she kind of knew Johnny through her brother, although how Doc knew him was never actually made clear to Lunete, but they seemed kind of close and Doc seemed to trust the guy so that was good enough for Lunete. "I didn't put on these party feet for nothin'." She grinned, clicking her heels together.
Lunete followed the crowd in and looked around the amazing entry, holy crap, it felt so fresh! She came from a pretty large home, but it was definitely more country than this. She took in the appearance of the place for just a second and then linked her arm with Lola, "Come on," She said, "I can smell food and I skipped breakfast this morning." She said, leading her forward to the back of the house where she was momentarily blinded by the sun reflecting off the pool, and then her heart sank. "That - holy mother forking - Lo! Lo!" She said, turning to Lola, "That's Kalino Sullivan!" She whispered in hushed excitement, "Beater for the Falmouth Falcons!" Merlin's sparkling testicles! Lunete couldn't believe that she was in the presence of a Quidditch legend.

Lunete laughed as Zach claimed to make bad look good. Lunete could see the appeal of the guy, but to her he just sounded corny and a bit full of himself. Lunete wasn't into pretty boys with arrogance issues, but Zach seemed like a good enough guy from what she knew of him and this limited interaction so far. "Just passing by and fancied a drink." She said. She was on her way home from work at the Three Broomsticks, but she didn't want to divulge that information, Zach may have seemed okay, but he could have been a total stalker! "Besides, I'm involved - sexually - with the bar keep," She said, nodding her head to Abe who was stood behind the bar, watching the pair of them. Lunete smirked, she was most certainly not involved in any way with Abe, but he was a good guy that looked out for her, so it wasn't a surprise to her that he was keeping an eye on her with Zach while he cleaned a glass with a painfully dirty cloth.

Lunete wasn't big on mixing with people she didn't know too well these days. There were a lot of prejudices going on and she'd even had to leave her job at the Ministry because of it. Luckily Doc had gotten word of what was going on and he'd resigned immediately and told her to do the same thing. Lunete trusted her brother and, well, it had paid off. Not long after that she'd joined the Order of the Phoenix and she became closer with her brother. She'd always been the baby of the family, the one her brothers all liked to look out for, but now that she was technically qualified as an Auror, even if she didn't work at the ministry, and she was part of the Order, Lunete had confidence in her own abilities to handle whatever might come her way. Life was toughening her up and she was stepping up to its challenges.
Lola had been one of the midi-witches on the scene after her brother had been killed. It was an odd way to form a friendship, sure, but once Lunete knew that Lola knew Ollie, their friendship really kicked off. Ollie was like that, he brought people together without even having to be involved much at all. Lunete would always have a soft spot for him, nothing romantic, they'd tried that and they were just better off as friends, but life was definitely richer with him in it, and Kit of course, although Lunete wasn't sure if Kit was invited to this thing or not, at least Ollie would be there.
Apparating in front of a huge lake house, Lunete was a little surprised, she hadn't expected such a lavish home, but she was excited to be there. She stepped the few paces over to where Lola was standing with another of her friends, and waved at the pair, "Hey!" She beamed, kind of excited to be there now, "Gorgeous dress," She said, kind of stunned at how beautiful Lola was looking, "I feel kind of underdressed now," She chuckled, and then looked to Lola's other friend, "Hi! I'm Lunete, friend of Lola's," she said, smiling, hoping this wasn't some snooty cow that was going to sneer at the bright yellow band around the top of her arm that signified to the world that she was a muggleborn.

He was definitely as arrogant as she'd heard. Well, maybe not quite that arrogant, but still, he looked pretty damn smug that she knew his name, he'd even pushed the chair out for her, "You sure that's a good thing?" She asked, her brow rising quizzically as she looked at him. She broke into a smile and chuckled, "It's not all bad," She sat down and looked as though she were thinking back, "Mostly." She took a gulp of her drink then set it down on the table. "What brings you to such a fine and upstanding establishment?" She asked. It wasn't exactly a regular sort of place for regular people. The sorts at The Hogs Head weren't the type you'd randomly meet and want to hang out with and if he was meeting someone then surely he could think of somewhere far better than this dump, and if he wasn't meeting someone then what was he doing there? Lunete was too curious, she had to know.

Zachary Zeller was recognisable by just about every woman at the ministry. He was probably the most handsome guy that had worked there and he was famous on looks alone. Lunete had no idea if he realised how a lot of the women there talked about him but it was almost like meeting a celebrity. Was that strange? She wasn't sure. She'd heard a lot about him, all rumours and probably not true, but it was going to make it interesting meeting him. "Used to," She said, confirming his suspicions. She'd trained as an Auror, managed to make it through the whole three years despite great personal loss, but then the armbands had happened and she was advised to get the hell out of dodge before she was forced ... or worse. It was unsettling to think that so many people were forced out of their jobs, or arrested or killed. Lunete had no proof that there were deaths due to the ministry itself, but a few muggleborns from the ministry had turned up dead, and surly that couldn't have been a coincidence. "Zeller, right?" She knew he was and something in the back of her mind told her she should have faked getting his name wrong, just in case he wasn't who she thought and instead some kind of intruder in polyjuice potion, but then who wouldn't know everything about who they were turning in to, and why would they approach her in The Hog's Head?

Now more than ever, Lunete felt wise in choosing to live in Hogsmeade. The world was not a safe place any more, it may have looked as though it was one the mend, but for people like her, it was only the beginning. Muggles now knew of the existence of magic and they were fearful of it. Their papers were littered with deaths, strange occurrences and attacks. Vile, undeserved attacks. It wasn’t stated anywhere but the lack of muggle retaliation or anything happening from other countries, led Lunete to believe that they had the muggle Prime Minister and some of the tops of the tops, under their control. The ministry was beyond compromised, it was corrupt and Lunete had left, giving up her position as an Auror in order to get away from danger. She’d stupidly stayed long enough to be registered, to have that ridiculous neon yellow arm band strapped around her bicep but she’d left a month ago, getting away from the ministry and taking work at the Three Broomsticks. There she’d learnt of the Order when Dumbledore had come to her and asked her to join. Lunete joined without hesitation, it was the right thing to do. She’d even learnt that her brothers were a part of the Order, and Doc - surprisingly - held no objections to her joining.
Finishing her shift at the Three Broomsticks, Lunete was washing off her hands in the kitchen. She looked about the dark kitchen, the place no longer serving food but it wasn’t really the place you came to for food anyway. Maybe some chips if you were feeling peckish at lunch time, but really people came to drink, maybe have some nuts or crisps, but mostly just get drunk or socialise with friends. Lunete was glad to have a place where she wasn’t constantly looking over her shoulder. She’d had a run in already with someone that didn’t like her “kind” but Roz was on his arse so fast the guy would have had whiplash when Roz had literally thrown him out. The blonde was a lot stronger than she looked.
Stepping out into the pub, Lunete saw the usual crowd that stayed from dinner time until close. Lunete fancied maybe having a little tipple, but she didn’t want to do it at the Three Broomsticks, not while she was still so new to working there, so after she fair-welled the patrons, other staff and Roz, Lunete headed to the dodgiest pub she’d ever stepped foot in, thankfully it was more run-down than actual dodgy but the owner, Aberforth, seemed pretty decent. She’d spoke with him a couple of times after she’d started working for Roz after he’d spotted her arm band. She’d thought he was going to say something about her “kind” but that wasn’t the case. He was disgusted by what was happening but he seemed to have an all too familiar wisdom about him that she kind of liked.
Entering the Hogs Head, Lunete noticed it was busier than she was used to. There were a few beings here and there with their hoods low over their faces that she’d certainly keep an eye on over the course of the evening, but on the whole the atmosphere was a little more lively than she’d ever known. Admittedly that wasn’t hard and the place was nowhere near as buzzing as the Three Broomsticks, but she enjoyed being able to have a drink and then walk home. She placed her order at the bar, Aberforth going to get her drink told her it was on the house. She was appreciative and surprised. Aberforth was always so lovely, but looking about the place, she wasn’t sure how many other people in here were even half as nice.

Lunete made her way to her drink as Sirius picked up the dart. He took a knowing stance and prepared to throw. He looked like he knew what he was doing and Lunete felt as though she was about to become annihilated but surprisingly, Sirius wasn't as skilled at the game as Lunete was expecting. She laughed quietly into her drink but she couldn't laugh too much, at the end of his round he had thirteen points and that was a damn sight better than her zero points. Lunete finished her mouthful as Sirius made his way back to the table. Lunete's head bounced ever so slightly to the music as she stood up and made her way to the dart board with her darts. She put in less effort this time. She looked at where she wanted the dart to go - the triple twenty - and she just threw the blasted thing. Her first dart landed on the double one. Lunete was surprised to have hit so close to the 20 but two points? She needed to do better than that.
Pints were drunk, darts were thrown, and the music had played on. Lunete threw her dart, it was their ninth round and she was behind by twenty three points. She'd actually been hitting the dartboard although not always landing on a number. Sirius seemed to have a good run but the playful smack talk had died out, mostly because Lunete felt there was no way she was going to be able to win this. Dart one. Dart two. Dart three. Six points total that she got to add to the scoreboard. That only put her 17 points behind Sirius but he still had another go. "How many rounds are there supposed to be?" She asked, sitting herself down in her spot, picking up her fresh pint and taking a sip. This was their ninth round but how many were there supposed to be in a game of darts?

A quick flash of a faulting grin spread over Lunete's lips as Sirius approved of her choice of song. She wasn't usually so tame and boring - at least she didn't think so - but having met Julian and having had her heart absolutely crushed after losing her brother so suddenly only a couple of years after losing her mother had made her a little timid, something that wasn't really something an Auror should have been. It would probably work in favour for her during undercover cases, she supposed. She looked younger than she was and she had an innocent look. She was someone that could go by unnoticed really, especially with this strange new personality she seemed to have adopted in all her heartbreak.
Sirius was back in no time and Lunete took her pint. It looked ridiculously large in her small hands but she was able to put away a pint or two with no problems. It was the third one when things would usually get a little more fun, but she hoped that at least this one would loosen her up a bit and help her enjoy the night. Perhaps a work-night piss-up was exactly what she needed. Or maybe she just needed to stick to a couple of drinks and then head home. Probably the safer option considering they had work in the morning.
Looking back to the board where she'd put her name and Sirius' Lunete took a second to twig what he'd been on about but when it struck her shoulders visibly relaxed as she laughed and shook her head, "I'll keep that in mind." She said with regards to buying him dinner before getting hitched to a guy with quite the reputation of being a 'ladies man'.
Lunete approached the standing line with her darts and took her stance. She wasn't too sure on what was right but this felt okay. Her practice shots hadn't been far off but as she took her first shot at the dart board, it seemed her practice shots may have been flukes. The first dart didn't even land on the board but rather the board the dartboard was hung against. "I'm just leading you into a false sense of superiority," She told Sirius, nodding her head as if this was all part of the plan, "First I do terribly," She said, looking back to the board, aiming for the triple twenty, drawing her right arm back and then tossing the dart, failing spectacularly once more by hitting outside of the numbers but at least on the dartboard, "Then later I'll take you for all you've got." She chuckled. Lunete threw her last dart, hitting almost hitting the number one but still just outside of anywhere you could be given points so she approached the dart board, took out the darts and put a dash on the scoreboard under her name, thinking a dash looked far better than a giant zero. After she was done putting up her score she returned to the table, "Beat that." She chuckled, picking up her drink and taking a mouthful.

It seemed impossible that this was happening and Julian was being so cryptic in what he was saying. She knew she wasn't going to get the chance to talk to him again after this because that just didn't happen. Sure she had a few amicable break-ups but this was entirely different from that. This was all one sided, Lunete had thought things were going so very well and yet it seemed she had been heartbreakingly wrong. Tristan had died a week ago, that was all her mind kept coming to. Julian brought up her dad and her brother's and that was the final straw. Lunete couldn't hold back the flood waters any more and her emotional dam broke, letting loose all the tears she'd had pent up since the last time she'd cried over her brother's death. Julian had only gone and reminded her, in a less than kind manner, that she had no mother and she had lost a big brother. If he thought he was doing the kind thing in letting her grieve her relationship along with her brother then he was sorely mistaken and she wanted nothing more than to curse him there and then.
Lunete covered her face with her hands, lowering her head and allowing her loose strands of hair to come forward and tickle the backs of her hands. She wasn't a silent crier and instead sobbed, knowing that she was an absolute mess. This was the first time she'd properly been out since Tristan's death, this was the first time she was able to relax out in public and Julian had stolen that away from her. She was no longer able to sit here, her shattered heart being crushed was more than she could handle so she she stood, face still in hands, and ran for the door, wailing as she went. She stopped only to pull the door of the bakery open and then she took off, finding the nearest alley that she could and she leant against the wall, sobbing into the front of her powder blue, lace top that she'd pulled up to her face. She could feel the pain tearing her apart. Nearly six months were now just wasted and Lunete wasn't sure how she could possibly carry on so she stayed there, with her back against the alley wall, sobbing her heartbroken little heart out, hoping that this was all a very, very bad dream.

With a bit of light chit-chat on the way, Lunete decided she didn't mind Sirius too much. It was strange to think that he was an Auror in training, really strange, because he just seemed too .. Lunete wasn't sure what the word would be, but she supposed the closest she could think of was 'immature'. So many people left Auror training with the odds really stacked against you from the beginning, but Lunete was putting forth as much effort as she could muster and she guessed it really took all sorts to get through training. If you could find light and laughter in what you were doing then that was probably the best way forward, it was certainly a damn sight better than what she was doing which was essentially just going through the motions of existing. It took talks with her dad and Doc for her to decide that she'd stick with her training, to make sure she'd see it through the the end. She was in her final year and she was able to kick some serious arse despite still looking like a school girl, so yeah, she was able to finish her third year of Auror training.
The bar was alright, nothing special and she'd certainly been to worse. It wasn't often that Lunete went out into the world and drank, especially not on a work night, but she was in needed of a little more spontaneity and definitely more fun. She hadn't thought she'd be out finding fun with Sirius Black of all people but as he placed the darts in front of her, Lunete supposed she could have a good night of it all. "Uhm," she thought for just a second but nothing really sprang to mind, "The Buzzcocks or Sex Pistols maybe?" It would all depend on what they had. Lunete didn't mind what was on at the moment, her musical range was all over the place, enjoying anything catchy, but it certainly wasn't to Sirius' tastes so she guessed something entirely different would suit his tastes better and maybe something a little heavier than disco, along with throwing some darts and having a few drinks, would be cathartic for a while.
Standing with her set of red and white winged darts, Lunete took to the blackboard to the side of the dartboard and picked up the chalk that sat in the little aluminium tray. She wrote 'Nete' in one column and 'Black' in the other, not sure if Sirius preferred his first name or surname and despite being out for drinks, she wasn't really sure they were on a first name basis. There was a time when she would have just written whatever first came to mind regardless, hell she might even have been a little flirty with it, but that was far from her mind right now, instead she stood back from the board, rotating her right wrist, and took a few practice shots, taking her aim for the small red line on the twenty and missing, though thankfully not by too much, she just needed a little more warming up.

Lunete thought she was getting better, that her heart had experienced so much loss that it could only get better from now on. She couldn't have imagined that only a week after her brother' death, that she would be face to face with the man she thought she was falling in love with, only to have him tell her that he wanted to end things. How could this be? What was truly happening right now? Lunete felt hollow yet full of pain. She didn't know how to react to the news. Her lemonade and muffin were just forgotten about as she pulled her arms from resting on the table to rest her hands in her lap. Knotted together her hands squeezed at one another as she tried processing everything. Why was this happening? "Oh." She said sadly. She looked down at the table, feeling the bitter sting of tears in her eyes. She had cried so very much this life time, she had hoped she was done with it all but she supposed not. She would be feeling this for weeks to come. "Uhm," Her voice was cracking, she told herself not to cry in front of him, that if this was how it was going to end then so be it, but it was really shit timing. Really shit. "Why?" She asked looking up from the table to Julian. She wanted to keep everything short. The more she talked the more likely she would cry. "Why now?" Was this something he'd been wanting to do for a while? Was it because she'd been upset recently? Well she couldn't help it that she wasn't made of stone! She was a human being with real, true emotions that she wore on her sleeve. She didn't hide how she was feeling unless it was for work, but thank Merlin she had time off from that right now. She wouldn't have to make excuses up about missing work for a break up. Oh Merlin. She was being dumped. How was this even happening?!
