Dorcas felt as though the atmosphere between herself and who she was certainly suspecting of being a vampire was changing, it seemed far more intense than anything else that had happened inside the club tonight and she'd punched a guy in the face and kicked him in the balls. Dorcas wasn’t sure what to make of such intensity. She never doubted her own gut and tonight she wasn’t going to start, it was telling her that something was off, and while it may have taken her longer than it usually would have to realise that Maximus was probably a vampire, she got there in the end, but only by the compulsion of her own name, "Dorcas Meadowes." Her name wasn't something she would have usually given up, but she was inebriated and had not only given up her first name but her surname too, that was quite something. She needed to sober up. "Well that's not fair," She almost smiled but she certainly lacked sincerity, "You get two of mine but I only get one of yours?" She tutted at him. Had he been a regular bloke she would have punched him in the face, much like the other sack of crap, but he was on to her and his reflexes were going to be much faster than her own, especially after the amount she'd been drinking. “Now are you releasing this poor sucker or are you going to leave him like this all evening?” She asked, looking to the barman.

Jonathan was ready to up and leave with the brunette, take her to the closest five star hotel that he knew of and just throw her up against the first wall they came to. She’d already unbuttoned part of his shirt and was feeling his cool skin beneath so she was certainly giving signals that she was ready to go, not to mention that eager smile, but there was something not quite right with the evening as Max seemed to be having trouble with the blonde. Jonathan lowered his head, pulled the brunette against his muscular body, until his lips met with the brunette’s, he wanted to make sure she was a good kisser before he took anything farther, and he suspected that she wouldn't disappoint, but he also wanted to make sure that Max didn’t need backup. Sure Max could handle a small witch, even if she was a feisty one, but he didn’t want their cover being blown, they weren’t exactly a welcomed sort.

 She burns like the sun and I can't look away Tersha was oblivious to what was going on beside her with Dorcas and Broody, and as soon as her god leaned down to kiss her, the rest of the room disappeared, too. She ditched her drink on the bar behind him and her hands slid around his neck as she found out just how juicy those lips were. She wanted to eat him up right there in the middle of the bar but she wasn't quite drunk enough to go that far. Yet. Merlin, he was delicious. Max's face remained neutral, but his mind whizzed through the many times his eldest some, Kit, had complained about a witch by the name of Dorcas Meadowes. This woman was an Auror. That explained the strange look she had given him and her asking for his name rather than a drink. Kit described her as a pain in the arse, but he'd neglected to mention how beautiful she was. She complained about not getting his full name but Max ignored the remark. He had no intention of giving her his full name. He knew he had cheated a bit in getting hers, but now he was even more intrigued. He sensed Kane hanging around with the brunette, no doubt listening in for signs of trouble, but Max could handle one rebellious witch. He shrugged when she asked about the bartender. "The lad's just doing his job," he said with a mysterious smile, eyes twinkling. He actually enjoyed her being so perceptive, even while drunk. It would make for a fun game if nothing else. Max held three fingers up to the lad and he immediately poured three more glasses of rum. Max downed two, one after the other, eyes never leaving the brunette as his sobriety slowly slipped away. He raised the third glass to her. Dorcas watched Maximus hold up three fingers to the bartender and he immediately went to work, pouring three rums. Dorcas didn’t need any confirmation that Maximus was a vampire, the evidence was overwhelming, but what about his friend? Dorcas suspected that he was very much the same as Maximus here but he wasn’t flaunting his abilities, he was keeping his head low; on Tersha, apparently. “There're mysteries to unravel, are there?" She quirked an eyebrow, there were always mysteries, but not many got by her, or so she liked to think. "Have you ever heard of 'One's an incident, two's a coincidence, three's a pattern'?" She asked, stepping against the bar, "Hair of the Crup." She said to the bartender, if he'd even make what she'd want, but she looked back to Maximus, certain she knew who he was.

A drink clanged heavily on the bar and the witches hands were exploring him as though they weren't in a very public place. Jonathan didn't mind at all, if she was like this while they were kissing then he was looking forward to what the hotel would be like. The sound of either awful flirting or petty sniping was enough for Jonathan, he pulled his lips away from the brunette and swept his hand over the side of her face, brushing her har back, "Let's get out of here." He said to the brunette, slipping his hand around hers, not wanting to listen to another second of Max and the blonde. Max certainly had the sour end of this deal. Jonathan just wanted to pick the brunette up and race out of there at the speed of light, but he felt as though a few people might have a lot of questions if he did such a thing, so he stuck to a mortal pace.

Tersha stroked Dorcas' arse as she left and Dorcas let her go. She'd check up on Tersha sooner rather than later but first she was going to sober up, annoy a vampire and possibly get into another fight, possibly with said vampire. Dorcas couldn't tell if this guy was just trying to score or if he was amused, either way she wasn't all that impressed with him, sure he had good looks and one hell of a smoulder, and that smirk was something that would usually have her panties dropping to the floor, but she was on edge around this guy, any normal guy she could handle, even when drunk, but a vampire? Heh, she wasn't going to risk that, even if she had her suspicions that things weren't as simple as they seemed. "What, you're not gonna make me?" She hated being controlled, it took her two years after graduating to learn how to fight a boggart because of her fear, and tonight this dick had used his definite powers to pull her name from her, something she wasn't going to forget.

Jonathan lead the brunette by the hand out of the club. As they stepped out onto the alley he twirled her beneath the bright lights and pulled her in against his body, kissing her, not holding back. He could have danced her down the street but she was eager and did not seem like the dancing kind, at least not that sort, this sexy brunette seemed like the sort that liked to press against her partner, to show him what he was going to get if he played his cards right, well Jonathan seemed as though he didn't need to play any cards right, he was a stacked deck.

How? His coyness was irritating, and Dorcas went so far as to roll her eyes. "How indeed." She drawled in a shitty posh voice. Her drink was placed down in the bar in front of her and she wasted no time in picking it up and consuming it. She just consumed the tall glass of blue liquid in one go before almost slamming the glass son the bar. A cold sensation washed over her as though she'd been dunked in a pool of cold water. The chill that ran over her made the hairs on her arm stick up on end and she shivered for a second, "Well Maximus, this has been entirely unusual, but I have a witch to see about a vampire." She said, still tingling a little from the drink as she felt the her mind freshening up. She turned about and headed for the exit to catch up with Tersha, knowing Tersha she'd be pinned up against the wall in some alley close by, hopefully just snogging the crap out of the hot guy and not having her life drained from her.
