Jonathan turned to face the bar completely and took a sip of the rum. His buzz would be returning shortly but it would need to be maintained, yet another downside of being a vampire was the inability to get absolutely smashed, you were no longer a cheap date. Jonathan missed the days where ehe could go to the local and get smashed don the local ale. The atmosphere was different back then, but it was a few hundred years ago and humanity had certainly evolved beyond the old taverns, although not much in some instances, this place, however, was far more upscale than a mortal Jonathan Kane could ever have imagined being in, they hadn't been a poor family, but they certainly would never have dreamed of the wealths that a common man would have today. "Smooth." He muttered to Max, not looking away from the bar as he took another drink.

 She burns like the sun and I can't look away The bartender passed drinks over that they hadn't ordered, and tipsy Tersha didn't hesitate to take a huge gulp of hers. "Rum?" She crinkled her nose at the glass. She'd drink it, but it was no fancy cocktail. With a shrug, she let Dorcas pull her away again. "You suck on the toes, I'll watch," she said with a grin. "Unless you find me some sort of god, then I'll suck on anyth-" her sentence ended abruptly when she spotted the two men Dorcas was leading her to. One dark haired and brooding, the other was a golden slice of heaven, and her mouth dropped open at the sight of him. He had his back turned, facing the bar, but even his profile was perfect. It worked every time. At least it did for Max. He'd seen it fail time and time again for regular Joe's. Maybe it was something vampiric in his stare, a hint of compulsion deep in his eyes. Or maybe he was just that good looking that women couldn't refuse him. Either way, his success rate was startling. Sure enough, the blonde gave him a little smile and the women headed their way. Dorcas liked the look of what she was seeing. She was out with Tersha to have a good time and forget the impending doom that was her future and a couple of bar hotties was certainly an excellent distraction, as was a good bar fight, but she'd practically already done that part of the evening so finding a cute distraction played in well to the evening plans. There was the taller on of the two with his dirty blonde hair and chiseled good looks. He was the epitome of handsome. He was the sort that people based Gods on. The second was shorter, but still a giant compared to Dorcas. He had long dark hair that hung on the sides of his face, hiding more of his face from view than the Golden God. His eyes were darker and his face screamed brooding hunk that knew just exactly what he was doing and Dorcas was more than happy to play along. "Thanks for the rum," She said the the brooding male, tilting her glass to him in appreciation, leaving any introductions to Tersha, who knew how she'd want to play it, "It's an interesting choice." She had to admit, she'd never been bought dumb before and she didn't half mind it, so she was happy to plug it down, and Tersha would do just about anything for whichever one it was that she'd said she'd suck on.

Jonathan raised his drink to his lips as Max cleared his throat, a little acknowledgment that the ladies had gone for the bait and were on their way over, but Jonathan didn't need the treat clear, he was listening to the pair of them and he almost choked on his drink as he heard one of them say she wanted to 'suck on that'. He wasn't aware that a vampire could almost choke on a drink. hundreds of years spent as a near immortal beast and he was still finding out new things thanks to a desperate mortal. Jonathan wondered which one had made the comment. He turned his head to see them arrive, he looked the blonde up and down and then his eyes moved to the tall brunette. She was the only one in the club that had sparked his interest and as the blonde spoke, he knew the brunette had been the one to make the sucking comment. He was curious to see how brazen she would be in their presence so he kept his mouth shut to see.

He looked familiar, somehow, but she was sure she'd never seen him before. Or had she and she was just too drunk to remember? It didn't really matter, because his friend turned around, and she found herself all sorts of excited. Not only was he a golden god, he had the face of an angel. Perfectly sculpted, like he'd been carved from one of the huge hunks of gold sitting in her Gringotts vault. He didn't say anything, just looked at her with the bluest eyes she'd ever seen. Tersha bit her lip. Dorcas was commenting on the rum, Tersha briefly realizing that is was these guys who had sent the drinks for them, but she wasn't really interested in all that. "Let's just cut to the chase," she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder. He chose it purely because it reminded him of his life before becoming a vampire. Drinking rum in the small port town in France where he'd grown up was one of the strongest memories he had from that time in his life. Most things faded with time, but that one stuck with him for some reason. So it was his drink of choice more often than not. He had no desire to tell this strange woman his reasoning, so he offered her a small smile instead. "Not what you would've chosen for yourself," he said, his own glass already empty. He abandoned it on the bar, raising a finger to get the attention or the bartender once more. The guy was compelled to not ask any questions about how much they were drinking, and he hurried over immediately, waiting for his orders. Max was about to speak when the brunette loudly asked about foursomes, and he dropped his head to hide a grin. Dorcas didn't have time to respond to the hot guy that had bought them rum because Tersha was busy jumping feet first in the deep end, asking if they'd ever had a foursome. There was no denying she got to the point, Dorcas had seen mix reviews to such a question but these guys looked a little older than herself and Tersha so probably wouldn't be as thrown as much as some 20-something that was yet to fully experience the joys of life. "What's the matter, cat got your tongue?" She asked as the pair exchanged glances, amusement clearly stated across their faces. It was fun to see their reactions, they were clearly not new to a foursome, but Dorcas didn't really care about that, she was more interested in the way Mr Broody had summoned the bartender. It had taken her a lot of effort to try and get some attention, which was unusual because, well, look at her! But this guy just raised a single finger and he was seen to at once? Jonathan quirked an amused brow and turned to look at Max, a knowing look flashing across his face before he looked back to the pair, “Not at all,” He responded to the blonde, “I’ve had a few wild nights here and there,” He told the brunette, although that was a bit of an understatement, and his definition of wild was probably vastly different to theirs. His involved a lot of sex with a lot of people, a lot of blood back in the day, and a lot of death. These days his nights were a lot more tame, this could even be considered a snore by his previous standards but that was what they needed, blood, death, and destruction got you noticed, and it was morally a no-no. "Wouldn't mind another if you're involved." She was by far the most attractive creature in the bar tonight, and someone Jonathan wouldn't mind whisking away to a hotel for a hot tryst, although Max was not to Jonathan's tastes, but the blonde could come too if the women were a two for one deal, she was certainly a pleasure to look at also.

Normally a matter of wealth could account for someone having a bartender as their own personal server all night long, but this was the Ambrosia Lounge, a place owned by her uncle, a place where every staff knew her name and face, and it didn't matter how rich someone was, because now she was married to Rodolphus, she was the richest person in just about any room, something she usually hated, but tonight it came in handy, because if she couldn't get served, despite being a regular that dropped. a lot of money on the place, then how did he have someone at his beck and call? Dorcas felt she knew the answer. "How 'bout your name." She said, stepping closer to him, locking onto his gaze, looking for, well, anything.

Jonathan could smell it before but it had been faint, as though it was just lingering on the air, but now it was directly beneath him and it stirred an urge within him. He slipped his right hand around to the brunette's back as she trailed her finger down the front of his black shirt, her finger running over his muscular contours. Jonathan lowered his head a little, his lips not far from hers, "Then I'd ask 'how do you feel about 5 star hotels?'."

He asked about five star hotels, and she couldn't help but think that she lived in a small castle, five star hotels were shit compared to her own home, but it was further to travel than grabbing a room in a nearby hotel, so she flashed him a mega-watt smile and went along with it. "I'd love to destroy a five star hotel room with you." Her fingers had, all of their own accord, undone one of the buttons on his very attractive black shirt. His skin was like marble underneath.
