There wasn't a whole lot going on, it seemed like they were still at the front door and Jake wondered if they were making out yet. He wanted to give them a minute to get comfortable before he strutted out in all his glory but he definitely heard mention of the bedroom, things were definitely going to get hot. He quickly peeked his head around the corner and sure enough they were only just making their way up the stairs. Straining his neck and lifting himself to his tippy-toes, Jake stretched to try and see if Amy was caressing Jovi's arse. Any minute now they'd be snogging on the sofa and he was going to join in any way that he could.

Wedding planning was doing his head in. Jake wanted to wring his mother's neck for making him go through all this and then he wanted to wring Amy's neck shortly there after. Jake had convinced himself that the planning part was the hardest part of marriage, because getting engaged was easy, Amy was his fourth engagement, but actually getting down the aisle? Now that was tricky. Once they were married, life would go back to normal, only he'd be trying to knock this broad up instead of trying to avoid a pregnancy, and once she was with his child he was basically free to set sail and screw other witches until his heir was born, then he needed to knock Amy up again and so on with the cycles until he had two boys, or three. Hell, why not four, it wasn't as if he was the one giving birth, and both he and Amy came from big families so it would be expected of them to have a large family of their own. Yeah, life would be easier after marriage, but until then, he was going to take out his frustrations on the unsuspecting muggles as he used his wand to blast the suckers into buildings, damaging the brick work and killing upon impact. He had a lot of rage to let loose and this was definitely going to help.

Jake threw the banana he'd bitten into, into the bin. He turned the tap on and stuck his head under the water flow and rinsed his mouth out as he heard Amy greet her girlfriend. Jake quickly spat into the sink and the grabbed a tea towel, drying his face with it. He turned the tap off and dried his hands while he listened out to see if there was going to be some hot lesbian action.

Why did Amy have to do all this wedding-y crap at his place? Jake was certain she had a place of her own, and that her parents were loaded enough to have a house she could commandeer for all this bothersome nonsense so why wasn't she there? Why did she have to be here? Jake kept his mouth shut, if he wanted a hot lesbian wife then he was going to have to do whatever she wanted in order to get her down the aisle, but when she mentioned something about damn whore dervs, he was about ready to snap. Seriously? Wasn't she the woman? It was her responsibility to get all the food sorted out. "Think of it as yours now, no need to wait until we're married." Although was that an open invitation to redecorate, too? It sounded like it. Shit. Well he could see a few fancy arts around, maybe some lesbian ones, and possibly some naked chick statues around the place wouldn't go amiss. Jake wandered off to the kitchen, "Soopy." He called, grabbing a banana from th fruit bowl, chuckling to his own thoughts of how much like a dick bananas were, although he was sure his was longer he made a mental note to compare later, "Sort out some whore derves for the missus and her girlfriend." he said to the house elf that had arrived with a bow, nose scraping the floor and ears flopping over, "And make sure there's some nice drinks too, strong ones. I wouldn't mind a little show after all this wedding planning." He chuckled to himself, taking a bite of the banana having forgotten to peel it and then immediately spitting it out once he'd realised his mistake.

Pumpernickel. Jake held back a laugh. That was such a stupid name for some bread. Like what was it trying to do, impress the croissants or something? Well it definitely wasn't as fancy as a croissant. It was more like the brother of rye and that was just kind of eh. Still if it was what she recommended then Jake was going to give the non-fancy bread a try, "I'll go with the pumpernickel too." He said with a smile, "Though I think I'll have roast beef and some mustard." He couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a bit of red meat, but he wasn't surprised at all that Amy would be having a girly meat.

Jake hadn't been told anything at all about that but he was certainly envisioning many, many different scenarios where their mutual interests would make for quiet possibly the best marriage in all of existence. Shit, he might actually be the luckiest guy in the freakin universe! There was no way he could screw this up with her, he had to marry this one. "That sounds absolutely incredible, I've always admired different cultures and their traditions," He said, spouting absolute nonsense, "There's so much to learn about the world and experiencing those cultures first hand would just be a blessing." He didn't believe a word of what he was saying, he barely even understood it, but if there was a hot lesbian wife on the line, you could damn well bet he was going to give this his all.

It seemed to Jake that Amy like to travel. She talked about it a lot, although Lima? Was she a moron? That was a type of bean, not a place, and she was pronouncing it all weird. At least she was hot, she didn't have to be too smart, and being his wife he didn't want her being too much smarter than him anyway, although his ears perked as she described that night life, he couldn't give a crap about the museums, though. He opened the door to the little place down the road from the museum where they were going to eat, letting Amy go first, "You'll have to tell me all about it when they're not around. Who are you maybe going with, or will you be flying solo?" He didn't like the idea of her going alone, she wasn't really his betrothed yet, but that didn't mean he couldn't be concerned for her welfare, and it was especially concerning considering she thought the place was called "Lima", like what country even was that?!

Amy was incredibly delicate, Jake barely noticed when she took his arm. He escorted her past the crowds and out of the museum, no doubt everyone board shitless, ready to run away from all the boring things in the museum. Paintings, sculptures, other things he couldn't even remember. There was no point going to a museum, now a quidditch match, that was where the excitement was at. "With my current job I travel around the country a fair bit, but I don't have much time for overseas travels, but if I get that promotion in the next year or so, then that'll change. I'll be able to have more time off outside of quidditch season." Jake liked a good holiday, he had been away a few times with his mates and caused quite a stir, but he imagined a holiday with Amy would probably be a chore. She'd probably want to see some old statues, visit other boring museums rather than go out clubbing and getting wasted every night and sleeping all day. "What about you? Does your job allow you time to travel the globe?" Was 'globe' the right word? A globe was a round thing you kept in a study, right? It sounded wrong but it had just slipped out. Maybe she wouldn't think too stupidly of him for one little slip up, he'd managed to pull off an afternoon at the museum, even though he knew nothing about what he was looking at. He should have just said 'world' because that was definitely the right word.

A girl that wasn't afraid of carbs? Okay, that was pretty awesome. Most girls that Jake had dated were all about salads, sometimes they'd even get some dressing if they were feeling adventurous, but bread? Full on carbs? That was laughable! He'd once witnessed Regina throw a salad in a waiter's face because there had been croutons in her salad. Jake had just shovelled his steak into his mouth and enjoyed the show, or what there was of it until Regina had them leave. She was a drama-bitch, he was pretty glad when he'd found out she'd up and run off with that Black traitor. "I could go for a good sandwich." He said with a smile, offering his arm to escort her from the museum.

Get out of here? Well yeah, this stuff was crap. Some dudes painted stuff a whole long time ago, how was that supposed to be impressive? People these days cold paint way better and he'd rather see all that. "I think I've appreciated as much art as I can for one day." He chuckled. Was that right? He felt like a twat saying that. Did you appreciate art? Did people have a limit on how much they could like? He had no idea, he was just using words he was pretty sure he'd heard before used in such a context. His parents had tried to get him into the art world and involved with classical music, operas and the like, but he held no interest in stuff like that, he was a more physical being. "What would you like to do next?" it was polite to ask, right? Or was he just supposed to make all the decisions? He'd done this first date crap three other times and he had to be someone other than himself every single time, and it was hard work keeping track of what he was supposed to do and say.

What. the. Hell. Jake kept his expression as neutral as possible as he looked at the clump of metal that Amy thought he'd like. It was better than all those pictures of boring bastards looking glum, but what was so exciting about this? He supposed it was kind of cool that he could see himself in it in places, although he was stretched. He tilted his head, just to make sure it was definitely his reflection he was looking at - it was. Amy told him about the piece and he couldn't really understand how this was a quidditch match, the first quidditch match of all time was documented quite some time ago in 1050, and even then it hadn't actually been called Quidditch, Quidditch had come from the name of the first recorded match location, Queerditch Marsh. Perhaps what Amelia meant was that it was the first even Quidditch League match, that would make more sense, Jake thought, but he wasn't going to correct her. "That's fascinating. Such a creative piece." He said, not taking his eyes off of it, looking at his reflection in the curves still. Man he was hot!

"It takes a real visionary to see a lump of rock and create something like this."
