Patronus: Dove - Elena's happiest memory to date is the day her father bought her her own dance studio. It was the building she had been swooning over, the one with the mirrored rooms that are just perfect for teaching little ones. He made her dream come true, and remembering twirling around every room in the building knowing that it was all hers is her favourite memory yet.

Elena is an absolute beauty inside and out. She is elegant, charming, intelligent, bright, and an absolute sweetheart... if your blood is pure. To the half bloods and muggleborns in the world, she would very likely be described as as a cold, stuck up, superficial, snooty bitch. Both parties would be right. To her friends and family, Elena is wonderful, an absolute picture of perfection (well, she's that to both groups, really, she can't help being perfect), and very caring and friendly. She just knows who the right sort of people to mix with are, and if you don't fall into that elite group, Merlin help you, because she will be a complete cow, but do it so sweetly that you feel very confused about the whole interaction. She's quite adept at telling people to go and kill themselves with such a bright smile and a pat on the shoulder that feels almost motherly, that you probably won't know what to do once she's flipped her hair and walked away.

She is a perfectionist in everything she does. She strives to be the best, strives to have the best, and expects the same of the people around her. She wants her loved ones to reach their full potential, and can be quite critical in general. She's critical of herself to the highest degree, so she's not expecting anything of others that she doesn't expect of herself. She will tell you that your hair needs a trim, your clothes are very outdated, your husband could be from better stock, and your kids are getting fat. She means well though, and she just wants her friends and family to flourish and to be seen to be as magnificent as they actually are. She gets the bitch gene from her mother, but she owns it. There's no point fighting your nature, right? Nobody wants an internal war when you could be focusing on nicer things.

She is a dancer, and loves to create beauty with her body. Her passion has always been dance, particularly ballet, and she is graceful and ladylike because of it. Trained to the highest level, she loves running her own dance school for the little people of the elite world to learn the craft, and it keeps her fit, too. She is a beauty and she knows it. She doesn't have off days (shhh, maybe one or two, but nobody ever sees her), and is always on point, perfectly presented, and ready to go. She has had a few boyfriends over the years, but nothing too serious, and she does get her fair share of male attention. She knows she's a catch, but she has always known her parents would likely choose a husband for her, so there's really no point worrying about it (they have recently found her a match that she's quite happy with). She trusts that her father has made the right decision, and knows she'll make a fine wife. She really will. And she's bloody amazing with children, she can have a whole room full of kids all in order without breaking a sweat, and she actually enjoys it. Weird.

The eldest child born to the Greengrasses was not a male heir, but was loved regardless. Sure, she was gifted a brother by the time she was two to right that wrong, but Elena never doubted how much her parents adored her. She was spoiled rotten by her father in particular, and treated like an absolute princess, something which stuck with her into adulthood. She had many siblings. Manyyyy siblings. And she adored it. She is very much a mothering type, though she expects the best standards from her siblings, just like she has for herself. They are purebloods, and should hold themselves in high regard, all of them. She taught the younger ones to be respectable and have wonderful manners, her example a perfect one for them to follow.

Elena was always a perfectionist. An absolute princess, elegant, refined, followed all the rules, and got everything her parents instilled in her just right. She wouldn't have it any other way, and the pride she felt even as a little girl, to hold her head up high as a Greengrass, to have beautiful friends, and beautiful things. A very girly girl, she loved the princess life her parents money could buy her, and was always wearing the finest clothes, her platinum hair swishing in the sunlight like pure gold, her shoes polished perfectly, smile beaming.

She was a dancer. Elena loved to dance more than anything. Ballet was her favourite, and she wanted nothing more than to be a ballerina when she grew up. Her parents put her in classes from the age of three, and when it was time to attend Hogwarts, they arranged with the headmaster to allow a private dance tutor to go to the castle a few times a week so that Elena wouldn't have to give up her passion. She was so very spoiled, but so very talented. Sorted into Ravenclaw, the Greengrass smarts shone in her, and she did very well in her lessons with relative ease, but she did so look forward to ballet class on Wednesdays and Fridays, taking up an empty classroom and leaping and pirrouetting around the dusty floors until her feet were sore. It was glorious.

She made friends with the right sort. Only purebloods would do, and her parents were very proud of her. Her younger siblings soon followed after her, and she helped them settle in as best she could, but she did so love focusing on her own studies, and being the best she could be. She knew she didn't want to put her intelligence to any use after school. She wanted to open her own dance school and teach little ones. She wanted to perform and shine. Elena knew her father would support her, she was Daddy's girl, after all. One smile from her perfect little face, and he would give her the world. Elena graduated with perfect grades - as to be expected from a perfectionist - and perfect friends. There had been a few boys, but she was very single when she went into her adult life.

Her father bought her the building she had been gushing over for her dance school, and she hired the very best dancers to help her teach the children. She works every single day, though she doesn't have to, but her love of ballet means she just can't help herself. She could just sit back and let the school run itself with all of the people that work there for her, but she'd rather be there, making sure it all runs perfectly, and enjoying the fruits of her labour. Her father has recently arranged a marriage between Elena and Tobias Yaxley, something Elena is actually happy about, she knows she needs to marry and make that dream of little ones come true, and whether she marries for love or duty doesn't matter to her, she knows she'll make a perfect wife, and if her friends can do it, so can she.
