He is rich beyond measure, powerful, has a fantastic job at the Ministry, and oh, yeah, he's a Death Eater and enjoys killing people in his spare time. He's a great guy, who is the husband of one stunning Lilith Lestrange, and recently gave their parents a grandson before his brother did (a personal victory). He needs friends and enemies and everything in between.[break][break] FRIENDS are precious to Rabastan, though he has few that he actually counts as close. He is easy to get along with, which makes him someone people gravitate towards, and his easy going nature and fun wit gained him a nice amount of popularity at school, so he'll have a lot of old school friends. Those that he considers to be close friends will be those in the same circles as him, though there may be a few exceptions, if he feels he has a bond with you that is strong enough, it wouldn't matter to him if you weren't in line with the Dark Lord's plans, though he cannot make any exceptions when it comes to blood. Only those with pure blood would have gained his friendship, that's just the way it is. Once you're in his inner circle, he's a friend for life, and is incredibly loyal and generous, willing to go out of his way for those he trusts.[break][break] LOVE is a tricky area for him recently. Rabby has never been in love. He has had short lived relationships with girls over the years, his longest relationship being just over a year with a girl at school. He has always known that marriage would be arranged for him by his parents, and so seen no need to really pursue love in any serious way. A year ago he was told that he was set to marry Lilith Burke, a respectable and beautiful pureblood, which he was reluctant about at first purely because he didn't know the girl. Once he met her, he realised that he could actually fall for her given the time. Their wedding is set for the winter of 1979, and he is actually looking forward to it, since he's sworn off women for the past ten months, choosing to be loyal to his future wife instead. So that's where he currently stands in his love life, but he will have a lot of past flings, short relationships, girls he's slept with, etc, so feel free to offer up ideas there.[break][break] Rabastan's ENEMIES will probably be scarred in some way. He has a temper on him, and he likes to use his fists more than his wand when he's really pissed off. He will literally beat people to a pulp when he's raging, and so those that have gotten on the wrong end of his temper will certainly have scars to show for it. He tries his best to keep a respectable air about him, and not tarnish his families reputation, but it's just fact that he gets into these scrapes and loses control. He is also a Death Eater, though it is his best kept secret, and he holds down a job as one of the Minister's personal bodyguards, so he is most definitely not suspected as being in with the Dark Lord. Yet. He loves his job, loves his life, and spends his free time kicking everyone's arse at karaoke.[break][break] FRIENDS should be lining up around the block for this guy, he's so much fun, and outgoing, and interesting, and funny, and witty, and sexy as hell! That may not be the reality of the situation, though. Eric has been back in England for five years, which is plenty of time to build new friendships and water old ones back to life, but he does live in a rather secluded area. He's a sociable guy, he can't be kept quiet for long, so expect him to be at parties, and to initiate adventures, and to challenge you to karaoke duets every weekend. He's a pretty cool dude. You want to be his friend.[break][break] Eric hasn't been in LOVE yet. He's been in lust, and he's had a few long relationships, but they clearly didn't work out, because he's single as it gets. He's no stranger to sleeping around, but he likes to think he's not a total man whore. Maybe he has a regular girl that he has fun with, maybe not, he'll never tell. He's getting on a bit now, though, and his siblings are having kids, and he's just there with his dragons and his fuck buddy. They have a daughter, and another on the way, and Tav is now working as a Muggleborn Interceptor for the Ministry, rounding up mudbloods who have gone on the run. It's fun, he's fun, and he needs all the people around him to keep him smiling.[break][break] Tavvy has a lot of FRIENDS, from school, from before school, new ones that he only made last week. He's a sociable guy, and he thrives on having company. He doesn't like to be alone, he much prefers to have people to talk to and laugh with, and he's always found himself pretty popular, which helps. He considers his siblings friends, and spends as much time as he can with them, and honestly, his door is always open to his loved ones, stop in any time. There is a catch, while he won't exclude those with lesser blood, he will be mean to them if they're tagging along for whatever ride he's on. He has a cruel streak, so just watch your back around him, you might think he's happy for you to join in the fun, but he's plotting something, just wait.[break][break] Tavvy is not in LOVE, but he does love his wife. You see, he was best friends with Cordelia since childhood, though they never really fancied each other. It was purely platonic, but their parents thought it was a brilliant idea to arrange a marriage between them. They were so well matched, it was a perfect idea. Honestly, Tavvy agreed. He was completely relieved to be marrying his best mate and not some stuck up stranger who he would never love. He loves Cordy, he really does. It's just not romantic love. They're getting on with it, they get to live together and raise tiny people together, and it's a lot of fun, and he's thankful for that. It lacks romance and sexual chemistry, but the friendship is amazing, and his loyalty to Cordy in unwavering, despite the fact that he is sex deprived and it's really bloody hard. He won't stray. He won't hurt his best friend like that. He adores coming home to his girls every day, and though he's young, he's doing a pretty fantastic job at being a husband and dad.[break][break] ENEMIES will be those people who have been victim to his wicked streak (see friendship section above). He can be heartless if you're not a pureblood. He really can. And you never see it coming because he plays nice so well until the last minute. He was raised with very strong beliefs. Purebloods are everything, anyone else is not worth the air they breathe. Liv is the free spirit of the family, a photographer for Pur Magazine, and a lover of travel and adventures, and she needs lots of people she can drag around the world with her.[break][break] FRIENDS will be plentiful for Livvi. She's a sociable, friendly, outgoing creature, and likes to live her life to the fullest. She was in Slytherin at school, but mixed with all houses, preferring those of pure blood, but still willing to give lesser people the time of day for superficial things. For example if you're cute, she'll snog you and maybe more regardless of blood status, but don't expect her to spend any time with you after that. Her true friendships will be with Purebloods, she has a family name to uphold and will not tarnish their reputation, no matter how carefree she may be at heart. She is the type of friend who will shoe up on your doorstep at 2am drunk and asking you to come out with her because all of her other friends went home. She's the type of friend to boost you up no end because believes in you and wants you to see how amazing you are. She's the type of friend to send an owl that just says "pack your bags for snow", then turn up at your house and tell you you're going with her to the North Pole for a few days. She always has a camera in hand, and a smile on her face, and is very easy to get along with.[break][break] Liv is not your commitment type. She's never been in LOVE and doesn't think she will be any time soon. Her eldest sister is traped in an arranged marriage, and her eldest brother is under pressure to carry on the family name, but Livvi considers herself free of those pressures. She is open to fun with anybody, and is ridiculously open minded as to what she will try. Fun times on a mountain top? Sure! Getting jiggy on a broomstick 100 feet in the air? Hell yeah! She's adventurous with her love life just the same as any other area in her life. She may one day fall in love, but whoever that person is that will capture her heart needs to be just as free spirited as her. It goes without saying she will have ad a lot of past experiences with people, so throw anyone and everyone at her if you want. She's up for a giggle.[break][break] ENEMIES aren't something Liv is fond of having. She is a pureblood elitist, but she doesn't throw it in people's faces. She's one to avoid that kind of trouble, and honestly the only way she'd rub people up the wrong way is with things like straight talking or through her job. She suffers from putting her foot in it a lot, and can speak before she thinks quite a bit, but she has a heart of gold, so don't hold it against her. She will tell people straight when it comes to her work, if you look hideous in something she has to photograph you in, she will announce it for all to hear and make you get changed. She is mother to baby Hannah, and has cleaned up her act considerably. She's a fun girl once you get to know her, and she needs good people in her life to keep her on track. She currently lives at the Leaky Cauldron, which she has been the landlady of for a year now.[break][break] FRIENDS are a tricky subject for Tess. She was the girl who got in with the wrong crowd at school, because she was trying to prove herself. She wanted to show everyone she wasn't a soft little Hufflepuff, and unfortunately, that led to her getting sucked into some very naughty things, and changed her greatly. She still gets sucked in easily by these kinds of "friends" who will give her that rush of putting a middle finger up to the world, but she knows she needs to do better for her unborn child, so she will be distancing herself from these people a good bit. She needs new friends in her world, people who will keep her on the straight and narrow, people who will look after her even though she insists she doesn't need anyone. She's a fun friend, and will have your back so long as you don't cross her. She's also great at just chatting/listening across the bar at the Leaky Cauldron, and I imagine she has a loooot of acquaintances or friendly faces from there, because she's not at all shy, and makes an effort with everyone who comes in.[break][break] LOVE is something Tessa doesn't think she's experienced. She's not sure. She's felt things for guys, she has, she just doesn't know if it's love or not. She has spent so long being around the wrong type of men, that she'd be quite shocked if a good one walked into her life and shook up her world in a positive way, rather than a dramatic one. She will have had a lot of past boyfriends, even back in school, and a lot of snogs and one night stands. She's adventurous in this area, and has experimented with girls when she's been really drunk in the past, but she is definitely straight when she's sober. At the moment she is about to have a baby any minute, and she refuses to reveal who the father is, saying it's nobody's business. She knows who it is, but I don't, so anyone wanting to step forward and stake a claim on being little Hannah Abbott's dad, shoot me a message and we can talk about it, because I'm dying to know who it is! Haha I imagine it's someone she was dating for a while, and they broke up before she found out she was pregnant. Something along those lines. He probably doesn't know he's going to be a dad, she's stubborn when it comes to being independent and not needing anyone.[break][break] ENEMIES will be people she has stolen from, fought with, and there were those few families who would likely hate her guts because she stole their car when she was twenty three, and was part of a group who set a house on fire when she was twenty. I mean, she's mostly been into stealing (from shops, houses, etc) all her life, and she does have very light fingers and is well practised, so she hasn't been caught as many times as she could have been, but those that did catch her, I'd imagine they don't think too highly of her. Also, anyone who has caused trouble in her bar, she will remember. She remembers everything, she has the memory of an elephant, and she will be watching you. He lives to perform, to sing and play his guitar on stage in front of huge crowds. He dedicates himself so much to his creative pursuits that he hasn't yet stopped and thought about other levels of his life. What about love? What about a family? He wouldn't turn those things away if they came to him. He would, in fact, welcome true love with open arms and embrace it fully, if the right woman were to capture his heart. And though he has never considered himself the paternal type, he would do his absolute best by any child that found its way into his life. He is open to the right woman walking into his life, but at the moment it's mostly one night stands, flings, snogs and other carefree fun. As a human he used to dream of a wife and children, and he would have made a fine husband and father, but that dream was ripped away from him, and he is so far into being a killer, a monster, someone who has no respect for human life, that he has lost sight of that loving man. He likes sex. A lot. He will give any woman a night to remember (unless he gets hungry and drains her, but hey, a guy's gotta eat). You can try and battle your way through his layers to find the old loving Tam if you want, it'd be a fun journey.[break][break] ENEMIES. Ha. Tam doesn't ave enemies, he just kills everyone he doesn't like and gets on with his life. He hasn't taken a side in the war. Yet. She is well versed in being fake and having a chameleon-like talent for changing herself to suit the people she is with at the time. She's great at coming across as nice and lovable and charming, and is very confident with her techniques of getting people to think the sun shines out of her arse. She doesn't go over the top with it, because she wants it to seem genuine, so most people are oblivious that she's being fake or playing games. Everyone at school thought she should have been a Gryffindor, because she was far too friendly to halfbloods and muggleborns to have landed herself in the snooty snake house. Aside from these fake friends - she would have made a lot of new ones in her adult life, too - Evie will have a few best friends, though, who are in on the game, those who think like she does and either are in league with the Dark Lord, or are strong supporters. She will drop all acts for these people, and they will get to see the hilariously catty and bossy side of her more than anyone else. So to sum up, lots of friends, 95% will not be genuine on her part, but she will play it well.[break][break] LOVE is something she is looking for, though not in any strenuous way. She wants beauty and riches, and after being betrothed to a troll a year or so ago and having to resort to killing him to get out of the engagement, there is no telling what she might to do avoid being with someone if she feels cornered into something romantic with them. She's very flirty, and isn't shy about approaching men she fancies, though she likes a fuss to be made of her, so she will appreciate a guy who makes the first move and makes her feel special. Once she finds someone beautiful and successful enough to commit to, she will make a loyal and loving wife, and will proudly stand by her husband's side and give him lots of gorgeous little heirs.[break][break] ENEMIES might not actually be that many. Evie is so good at playing the good girl that she's great at not pissing people off. She hates a lot of people, but strictly behind their back, to their face she's just lovely, so it's a tricky one when it comes to enemies. There will be people who just don't like her because she's "friendly" and they may feel something is a bit off about it, or there'll be people who are jealous (or so Evie says) of her family and money, etc. Realistically, there won't be too many enemies listed for her, because she works her arse off to keep her little lovely facade up. Save for every few months, when he returns to his family, visiting his sister for weeks at a time before she died. He will have kept in touch with a few people from his past, I imagine. The good ones from childhood, though his friends in school were of a questionable nature. He's loyal to those that earn it, and he takes loyalty to the deepest level. He's open to new friendships, though he's a hard person to like thanks to his devilish nature and his aggressive tendencies. He has a mighty temper and it's often hard for people to get past that to see the potential for strong friendship in him.[break][break] As far as LOVE goes, Jules plays around. He thinks he loved the mother of his son, Scarlett. They were together for almost two years, and that's the longest he has ever been with one person. He likes to do as he pleases and not be tied to any one place or person. It's foreign to him to be with someone and stick with them, not to mention that he'd have to let someone in, which scares him, though he won't admit it. With the people he loves dying like flies recently, he's even more guarded than ever about letting people into his heart, save for family (family is everything to Julian). He will be up for all kinds of sexy fun, however, as long as it's a no strings situation. His approach to fun with women is as devilish as his approach to smiting his enemies. He has a darkness in him that cannot be denied or ignored, but he's a lot of fun.[break][break] ENEMIES will be plentiful. Werewolves aren't thought of fondly in the wizarding world, and Jules is fully aware of that. He's felt the brunt of the hatred towards his people, and he makes it his personal business to punish these people. He's killed, and he's turned a lot of people into the monsters they so loathe, taking great pleasure in seeing them suffer and hate themselves. Like I said, he has a darkness in him. He also - thanks to his lycanthropy, but also just because it's who he is anyway - has a foul temper. He is so easily triggered, and he is poisonous with his tongue. If someone says or does the slightest thing that he doesn't like, he will be on it and dishing out some sort of anger or frustration. He's not an easy person to like or love, but there are a few people that see his worth, that see past that. Everyone else belongs in this category, but watch your back. On a full moon, he won't hesitate to rip your throat out, or infect you with the werewolf curse just because you insulted his outfit last June. As far as the war goes, he's neutral.  A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now Grey-blue eyes kept subtly peeping to the side to check on Dorian's progress as she made her sheep cakes, and Geralina retained a gentle smile through the whole process. She had made seven sheep by the time Dorian had finished his first chick. Even Ariel was having better luck. She'd used her spoon to dump copious amounts of pink icing all over the cakes that she'd been given to decorate, and then dumped the rest of her icing all over herself. It must have tasted delicious, because she looked impossibly pleased with herself, and kept shoving more fistfuls into her mouth. Geralina finished up the last sheep and watched with a grin as Dorian wiped pink frosting out of Ariel's eyes. The tot was destroyed in sugary stickiness, and it was adorable. Of course, it was probably more adorable because Geralina wasn't the one who had to clean it off, but still. Dorian joked that Geralina would have to take Ariel since she'd be hyper, and Geralina only raised a brow. She picked up the little bag of marshmallows she'd been working with and sprinkled some onto the tray of Ariel's highchair. "Do you want some clouds, sweetie?" she asked, getting a big smile in response as Ariel grabbed a fistful of white fluff and had a taste. "There's no such thing as too much sugar," she told Dorian, giving him a playful smile. She popped a marshmallow into her mouth and held another one up, ready to throw it into Dorian's mouth if he'd play along. "I'll take her though. I'll bring her back in about a month. Catch." She felt bad that he wanted to leave already, but she knew this wasn't his scene. It wasn't exactly her most favourite thing to do, either, though she did love the dancing. She could dance all night if she had someone to do it with. She bade Dorian a quick farewell, and turned back to Jasper who had nearly downed his entire drink in one go. His question made her eyes go wide, and she gaped for a minute. Was something going on between herself and Dorian? Of course not! Not that she hadn't daydreamed about it when she was a teen, she had. A lot. But it wasn't something she expected to happen in her adult life, ever. He had been in love with her best friend. He was a wonderful man; handsome, clever, successful, warm, reliable. If he hadn't slowly been becoming one of her best friends she might have kept a firm grip on the "Hot Humbert" complex she'd had since childhood, but now, now he was somewhat of a lifeline for her. She wasn't using him to feel connected to Paris, not at all, but it was nice to have that link there. Comforting. That was what Dorian was to her. Comforting. A safe place. A really gorgeous safe place. Shaking herself out of her unexpected thoughts, she shook her head at Jasper. "What? No, don't be daft," she said, trying to laugh it off, though she couldn't help but feel a bit awkward about it. She sipped her lemonade, then sipped again, and again until it was nearly gone. "Why, are you interested in him?" she asked in an attempt at hiding her discomfort behind humour. She was joking, but you never knew, there was always a possibility that she might have hit the nail on the head. She'd never thought Jasper the type to fancy guys, but maybe he did. Dorian was very fanciable. So was Jasper. And now she was imagining them kissing, and it wasn't at all horrible, though she gulped the last of her lemonade down and ditched the glass on a nearby table. "Dance with me." She slipped her hand into Jasper's and tugged him back onto the dance floor. A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now "That needs to go on an oven mitt," Geralina said thoughtfully. Maybe she could sew the quote on to one and give it to him for Christmas, for he was indeed Chief Oven Worker and Keeper of all things burny. He was chief everything, really, but Tersha would kill her if she discovered Geralina had given that title to someone else. Tersha had dubbed herself the Queen of Everything when they were in school, and no one had ever challenged the title successfully as far as Geralina was aware. Maybe Dorian would win, or maybe there was room for a King of Everything, but she got the impression that Tersha made Dorian want to run for the hills and never look back. She really wasn't that bad once you got to know her. Geralina found her quite refreshing. Sure, Tersha was highly insulting with her words and lack of conscience, but honestly, she was a wonderful friend and a lot of fun. Dorian would do well to give her more of a chance, but Geralina was the last person who would push that. Dorian placed the hot tray on the counter just so, and Geralina's grin was bright as he practically admitted to sleeping in a tutu for his niece. "Only a true ballerina would know that saying," she teased, giving him a knowing look. She glanced down at the tray of cakes. The round ones all looked fine, some of them a tiny bit oval, but not too bad. The pig shaped ones, however, now looked more like elephants. The noses has stretched out like trunks, and she chewed on her bottom lip in disappointment. Perhaps they'd look better once they were decorated. Ariel could smother them in pink icing and they'd look much better. "Okay, Ariel can decorate the piggies, I'll do sheep, and do you wanna try chicks?" she asked, blue eyes glancing up at Dorian with hope. She'd mess chicks up spectacularly, they required detail, beaks and whatever else. Sheep would be easy, but if he wanted to swap, she wouldn't say anything, she'd just quietly butcher the chicks and get on with it. "What if somebody walks in?" she whispered, hands sinking into his hair. His response was to lift her up and slam her against the door, blocking anyone from being able to enter. POP!Geralina slammed her book closed with a squeal of surprise as a letter floated down onto the bed beside her. Her heart was hammering in her chest, part from the scene she had been reading, and part from the shock of a flaming letter appearing above her head. She glanced at the letter as though it might bite her, clinging onto her book as she tried to steady her breathing. "Meow." "That was not funny, Rigel," she said, giving the huge cat a wide eyed glare as he stretched at the foot of the bed and pawed at the letter, purring. Putting her book down on her pillow, she picked up the letter and read it quickly. She knew it was an Order meeting, but a part of her still always had a brief panic about the other awful possibilities of who was sending her a letter. Death Eaters? The Ministry wanting to interrogate her over something? Her stranger of a father trying to finally contact her? Hogwarts firing her? A friend asking her to go out for tea? The possibilities were endless, though none of those letters would come with the signature flames that Dumbledore's Order invitations came with. She was wearing pyjamas, but she changed easily enough, tugging on a pair of jeans and a tank top, and stuffing her feet into a pair of trainers. She ran her fingers through her hair and gave each of her pets a quick kiss and cuddle before she left, making sure they knew she loved them and that she would be back soon. Her letter crumbled in her fingers, and she found herself chatting to Alfrie in the hallway of the Order headquarters. No, she didn't want a drink, thank you. And she was so sorry, but she hadn't brought a coat today. She also knew where the meeting room was, but she allowed the house elf to show her in anyway, hoping he was happy at getting to do a good job. She was expecting to be the last one there, since being late was kind of her thing, but there were quite a few people missing as she made a beeline for Kit and claimed the seat next to him. A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now Geralina's eyebrows rose when Jasper mentioned that it might have even been his brother that bopped him with an axe. "The one who likes you, or the one who's hundreds of miles away, locked in a castle?" she asked with a half smile. That made Hogwarts sound a little bit more sinister than it really was but honestly, the kids were locked in there with spells. No one could get in or out without permission, or a member of staff to escort them, and she certainly hadn't helped Zane Flint get out for some Halloween fun. She wasn't even sure why she was thinking along those lines, it was a joke, after all. She was a sucker for a mystery, even if it was just a bit of silliness. She was positive that whoever fake-killed Jasper Flint, it was not Zane in the Alley with a plastic axe. She sipped her lemonade a bit more to keep herself from saying anything so daft out loud. Of all of the people she counted as friends, Jasper was the one she actually could be daft with on any kind of level. He worked the same was she did; same insecurities, same oddities, same pointless worries. On him it was adorable, on her it was just stupid, but she loved the camaraderie she felt with him. She'd told him some incredibly cringe-worthy stories about ridiculous situations she'd ended up in, and found out that he'd done similar things, himself, and it was wonderful. Still, she changed the subject. "Do we rescue Dorian, or do we hide in the crowd and avoid any drama?" She looked from Dorcas, who was lolling back on a couch, her neck exposed, to Jasper. It looked as though Dorcas was up to no good. Geralina did not like dramatics of any kind, but she did feel sorry for Dorian if he ended up getting Dorcas' flirting on maximum. Then again, Freya was there, she could douse any fires. Geralina looked at her cousin, who gave a little wave and hooked a thumb at Dorcas. Yes, there was definite drama going on there. Geralina didn't really want anything to do with that. A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now Geralina failed to stifle a laugh when Ariel completely ignored Dorian's question, and instead began to sing a made up song in her own little language. It was adorable, and the perfect response. "Are you sure?" she asked with a smirk. "That sounds really similar to the 'I want a kitten' song." There was no such song, but she would gladly make one up and teach it to Ariel if it helped her to bring Dorian around to getting her a pet one day. Maybe when she was a bit older and better at pestering, at the moment it was likely just grabbing, crying, and tugging on clothes until she got what she wanted. As soon as she was coherent enough to learn a cute song and dance about kittens, it would definitely be on the agenda. Geralina would get Dorcas in on it, too. They could steal her away for a few hours, and teach her all the best ways to get what she wanted from any authority figure. Geralina doubted it would end in anything more than a hamster, but it would be adorable, nonetheless. Dorian told her they'd been working on teaching Ariel how to tidy up, but upon his asking, the tot gave a rather determined "no" and carried on playing. Geralina couldn't hold her laughter in any more. "Hey, it's good that she's comfortable telling people when she doesn't want to do something," she said biting her lip as she watched the entertaining scene before her. "You know that she won't get pushed around when she's older." ' Unlike me,' she thought. Geralina was, unfortunately, one of those people that were easily pushed around. Or at least she used to be. She'd gotten a lot better at standing up for herself over the years, but she still found it hard to say no. She admired Ariel for being so sure of herself, and unafraid to speak up. Geralina had always been that child that wouldn't say boo to a goose, and would go along with whatever the other kids wanted to do. Hell, she still went along with what other people wanted, but her one saving grace as an adult was that she had mastered the art of making up excuses to get out of doing things. It was pretty handy, but she did feel guilty for lying to her friends every now and then if she wasn't up for an adventure. Ariel would do just fine, she was sure of it. She was bright and confident as far as Geralina could tell, though she didn't spend that much time with the toddler to know her too well. With Dorian by her side, she'd be just fine. The oven gave a ding, snapping her out of her thoughts, and she pointed at it. "Wanna get the cakes out?" she asked, giving the icing another stir as she tried to picture Ariel asleep in her tutu, like a real sleeping beauty. "Do you wear your tutu to bed, too?" she asked casually, trying to keep a straight face as she waited for Dorian to brave the hot oven and rescue the cakes before they burned or flopped, or whatever it was cakes did when they weren't cooked properly. She only knew burned, she'd never undercooked something in her life. She blamed her mother for that. Evelyn Drake always insisted that if something wasn't burned, you'd get food poisoning, so it was better to be safe than sorry. Geralina had been glad to be able to break that rule when she got her own home for the first time, but she still burned things on purpose whenever her mum came for tea. A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now "Jasper!" Geralina beamed at the man who had appeared at her shoulder, at the exact same time that a drunken Dorcas shouted Geralina's own name - or a version of it - and pulled her into an awkward hug. She managed not to spill any drinks as she bent down to wrap her elbows around Dorcas, drinks sticking out at awkward angles, sloshing about precariously. "Oh, I've been here about half an hour," she called over the music as Dorcas took her drink and carried on rambling, probably oblivious that Geralina had even spoken at all. Dorcas was talking about wanting to get undressed, and Geralina shook her head. "No, you look amazing, keep it on," she protested, opting for flattery over "getting naked in a club is a bad idea". Anything to keep the peace. She snorted with laughter as Dorcas wondered aloud if "Hummy" would give her his shirt to wear. That was an even worse idea, and she put her hand on Dorcas' arm to steady her as she wobbled towards her. "I really don't think that's-" but Dorcas was already gone "-a good idea."Geralina gave Jasper a desperate look. "Dorian is going to die," she cringed, watching Dorcas sway through the crowd like a tiny drugged up ninja. Rodolphus, in all his skeletal glory, came up beside her and decided that it would be worth a shot to ask her if she'd fight with Dorcas, instead of the woman she'd just got rid of. "As much as I'd love a paddling pool full of jelly, I don't think our ideas of fun tally up," she told him with an amused smile. "Plus, if I was going to do anything like that, it'd have to be chocolate." It would definitely be worth wrestling with any of her female friends if she got to do it in chocolate. That sounded more fun that she was willing to admit out loud. "You should probably go and give her your shirt before she gets another man half naked," she teased Rodolphus, turning to Jasper and tapping a finger to her head. A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now Geralina had been late for Dorcas' birthday, but then she was late for most things. It was a family trait that was entirely her mum's fault. Her cousins hadn't escaped the gene, either, and Freya had shown up at Geralina's cottage half an hour later than she was supposed to. She'd claimed to have wardrobe malfunctions, but she looked perfect as far as Geralina could tell. The cousins had arrived unscathed in Whimsic Alley and made their way into the Starlight Speakeasy, easily locating Dorcas and the others, who were set up in a little VIP area that Dorian had apparently treated them to. She'd sat and chatted to Dorian for a little bit, but the music was calling her, and without a drop of alcohol in her system, Geralina had dragged Tersha onto the dance floor, which was where she'd been pretty much the entire night. Everyone was drunk, save for herself, Dorian and Freya, though they all seemed to be having a good time. Tersha had ditched her to dance with a hot ghoul about ten minutes ago, and so she'd decided to get more drinks in for the others, a glass of lemonade her own choice of beverage. It was hot and noisy in the club, but she heard Dorcas' irate voice from a mile away and homed in on it. The waitress was carrying a fresh tray of drinks over to their table, but Geralina snatched her own and one for Dorcas as she made her way across the crowded room, shoving and pushing until she reached the small clearing where Dorcas was facing off with a woman much taller than her. Size didn't really matter, Dorcas could take a woman twice her size with the Auror training she'd had, even if she did look like a little doll without her shoes on. Hating the thought of her friend getting into a fight on her birthday, Geralina stepped in between the two women, glancing at Rodolphus who was mouthing off nearby, with a look that clearly said "get over here and help me." She blocked the tall gobby woman from Dorcas' view and waved the glass of... what was it again? She wasn't very knowledgeable with her alcohol, but it was something she'd seen Dorcas drinking earlier. "I got you a drink," she beamed, trying to distract the tiny brunette. She glanced over her shoulder at the women still raging behind her. "Hey, did you know they're giving out free drinks over there?" she asked, pointing to the furthest side of the room and raising an eyebrow as the woman and her boyfriend, or whoever he was, began to crane their necks, trying to get a better look. Geralina nodded encouragingly and relaxed a little bit as they both scampered off for free alcohol that didn't exist. A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now "More room for toys," she agreed with a smile that was mildly teasing. "And pets." Well now she was just twinkling with mischief. He really did have the space for a pet or two now, Dorian couldn't deny that. This house was gorgeous, and if it wasn't filled with far too many toys and toddler accessories within about six months, she would be very surprised. She couldn't imagine what it would be like to go from such a small space to a large house. Her own cottage was tiny. It was beautiful, Geralina loved living there, but it definitely wasn't a family home. She managed to fit herself, her pets, and her books into it comfortably, but that was her limit. She had a spare room which had been turned into something of a library, and family and friends could stay over, but you couldn't swing a cat in any of the rooms. Not that she'd tried. Swinging cats was definitely not something she was into. She didn't want to move any time soon, though. She liked being in Hogsmeade. It was close to the school so she didn't have to be cooped up in the castle all year long, and it was a two minute stroll to the shops. So convenient, and peaceful. She could read for hours in her back garden and not hear another sound save for birds singing, and the occasional meow from Rigel. She didn't get many days like that, though. Her shifts at the library were pretty long, and she couldn't complain, she got to read in there, too. When it was particularly quiet and she didn't have too much to do, she would often sit by the small fireplace in the back room and read until she heard the bell on the desk ring, or until she thought she might run out of time to sort through all of the returned books before she finished for the day. She was pretty quick at it these days, she'd been in the job for a while now, and could probably do it in her sleep. Oh, but just think of how many book shelves she could fit in a bigger house! She could have a whole room that was an actual library! No. Nope. She couldn't afford to do something like that anyway. She'd need to change her job, which she didn't want to do, and she was sure there were other reasons that she couldn't think of. So many reasons. Dorian was commenting on how much of a mess Ariel liked to make in her new room, and Geralina laughed. "Next you need to teach her how to tidy up," she said, smiling down at the tot as she played happily. She didn't imagine Ariel would be tidying up her own messes for quite some time yet. Then again, Dorian seemed to be so good at everything he put his hand to, you never knew what he could train a small child to do. If he could keep a bunch of young, inexperienced trainee Aurors under control, then he could probably do anything. He could probably even train a pet. She could just picture him having the most well behaved cat in the universe, that sat on command, used the toilet, and fed itself with a magical bowl that filled up with the right meow. It'd probably have a posh name, too, though he might cave and let Ariel choose what to call it. Not that he was getting a cat. Well, he was in Geralina's head. It was quite the entertaining picture. The real picture was right in front of her, though, and included an empty bowl on the side that needed icing to be mixed up in it. She stood up and moved around the counter. "How many times has she made you try on her tutu and be ballerinas together?" she asked, as she mixed the powdered sugar with water, grinning into the bowl as she imagined Ariel forcing the tiny tutu onto Dorian's leg and asking him to dance. Geralina had hung it on Ariel's bedroom wall thinking it might be a cute touch. She had always loved to dance herself, and her own childhood bedroom had been a shrine of that. Encouraging a new fan of the activity was never a bad thing, especially if it meant Dorian had to play dress up in it. She didn't expect him to admit it if he had indulged Ariel, but honestly, the tot was smart enough to know how to get what she wanted. She could probably convince her Uncle Julian to wear the thing, too, and from the few times Geralina had met the guy - what a hunk! - she did not see him as the tutu type. She mixed up the icing until it was smooth and the perfect shimmering texture, then she poured it into four separate bowls. They were going to attempt to make some spring animal cakes, but she didn't expect it to go off without a hitch. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at each bowl of icing in turn. The first bowl turned bright yellow, the second pink, the third light brown, and the fourth stayed white. The cakes would be ready to come out of the oven in a few minutes and she needed everything to be ready so it would be easy for Ariel to help with the icing. There were marshmallows to fill in the bodies of little sheep cakes, googly eyes for all of the animals, orange beaks and feet to put on the chicks, and the pink icing was to go over the cakes that had been placed into pig shaped cases. It really couldn't go wrong. Everything was set out, Dorian would handle the oven, and she hoped he would be able to talk Ariel into decorating the cakes calmly without throwing marshmallows all over the house. Llian (sounds like "Liam" with an "n") is the eldest of the Drake siblings. He is 39 years old, and a Dragonologist. He works specifically with breeding dragons, and taking care of babies, and this has been in his job pretty much since he left Hogwarts. He was a Ravenclaw, and is very intelligent. As far as personality goes, he's very easy-going, easy to get along with, and always willing to lend a hand. He was a bit of a ladies man growing up, and whether that resulted in a wife and kids or not is up to you. His personal life is yours to make up, so long as you stick to the basic personality here. As far as his relationship with Geralina and Flynn, he was always Geralina's favourite (though she'd never admit it), and they have always gotten on brilliantly, and are very close, they have a laugh together, and she trusts him completely. Llian and Flynn have a more turbulent relationship, with Llian not liking Flynn's temper and rebel ways, and Flynn thinking Llian a bit of a pansy because of that. Llian is an Order member alongside Geralina, so his place in the war is set. Face claim is the gorgeous Josh Jackson, though that can be changed if you insist, just choose someone with dark hair and blue eyes, please. Flynn. Flynn, Flynn, Flynn. There's a lot to be said about this guy, but I'll try and keep it short. The middle child. The rebel. The one with the temper. The one who breaks all the rules. He is a journalist, and works as a reporter for the Daily Prophet (what he writes about is up to you), and he does really well in his job because he has an incredible silver tongue. He could sell land to a fish, it's impressive to see him in action. He is a cheeky chappie, charismatic, full of life. Everything he does is all or nothing, there's no grey areas with Flynn. He's full on, all of the time, and very intense. He knows how to have fun, and takes that to extremes, too, and has given his poor mum the majority of her wrinkles and grey hairs over the years. He was a Slytherin at school, and embodied the Slytherin rebel perfectly. He was popular and still is, and he really looked out for Geralina during her first year at Hogwarts, which was his final year.
His relationship with Llian is mentioned above, but his relationship with Geralina started off quite turbulent. He didn't like having a baby sister at all. His dad left, he had a crappy sister in his place, and it was all a bit much for Flynn. He used to pick on Geralina a lot before he went off to Hogwarts when she was four. They kept that kind of rocky, uneasy relationship for many years, meaning school holidays when Flynn was back home were kind of dramatic, and not at all fun or relaxing for any of them. It took a while for him to mature and realise that he shouldn't treat his baby sister that way, and by the time Geralina graduated, he tried to fix things, and since then they have had a much stronger relationship, and actually get on pretty well. He has a temper on him, and out of all of the siblings, he is most like their father, and nobody would be shocked if Flynn followed in his dad's footsteps and became a Death Eater. He is completely neutral in the way that he could go in either direction, and whether he is good or bad, he will give it his all. Geralina really hopes he stays good, because she loves her brothers a silly amount. Flynn is 36, so he could have a wife or a family of his own, that's up to you, but his name is set in stone. His face is the amazing Justin Timberlake (who in my head is 100% Flynn), but you can change that if you really want to, just stick to blue eyes and dark hair. Any questions, send me a PM. <3

A little fall of rain can hardly hurt me now Dorian's teasing brought a smile to Geralina's face. "No comment," she offered with a cheeky grin, smoothing a few of Ariel's curls away from her face. "Besides, it means I get more baby cuddles." That was a pretty good reason for having Dorian do the more dangerous activities. It meant that Geralina could hold on to Ariel and just enjoy the adorable tot without having to send her away from hot ovens and make the toddler gain a complex that Geralina didn't like her. She had just about started calling Geralina by name, and it was the cutest thing ever. She didn't want to do anything to ruin that progress and scare Ariel off. Granted, Ariel's version of the name was slightly different, but it worked. Being called Jellya was one of the cuter names she'd been given over the years, and she was happy to be known as Jelly to someone so cute. It would become problematic once Dorcas heard it in use and adopted it for herself, but Geralina supposed she'd have to deal with that at some point or other. "Set it for twelve minutes," she told Dorian as he popped the tray into the oven. That should be plenty of time for the cakes to bake nice and soft, and for her to whip up some icing for the top. She was looking forward to the decorating part, mostly because she expected it to go very, very wrong, and for Ariel to need a bath afterwards. She hoped Dorian wouldn't be too put out by it, but he had invited her over for the day, so he really should have expected something. Toddler fun was always messy, but she'd try and keep it to a minimum, since she wasn't the one responsible for cleaning up Ariel after. She set a wriggling Ariel down in in the living room near some toys she had been playing with earlier, and leaned against the arm of the couch. "How are you two settling in?" she asked. It had been a month or so since Dorian had decided to ditch his tiny apartment for a proper house, but it looked like they were used to it already. Geralina had even helped a little bit. She had been surprised but willing to lend a hand when Dorian had mentioned that he had no idea how to make a bedroom for a little girl. She was sure he would have managed just fine, but when she'd come around to take a look, it turned out he was right, and Ariel's room had been rather plain and a bit boring. She'd suggested some splashes of pink and other gentle colours, and managed to get the room looking girly enough for a little princess, but neat and clean enough for Dorian. It had been fun, and she'd spent her time imagining what it might be like when she had kids of her own one day, but that was a whole other can of worms that she didn't want to open up. She would likely need a father for said children before they would be a possibility, and she was horribly single and didn't see that changing any time soon. She had managed to push those thoughts far, far away, and focus on just getting to a point in life where people stopped dying before thinking about other things. Besides, she could fuss over Ariel whenever she liked, and Freya was having her baby in the summer, that would be another little one for her to steal cuddles from. It was all good.
