André Daniel Meadowes, Emily Jane Meadowes & Dorcas Amilie Meadowes
Oh gosh! I love the Meadow's tribe! Seriously, they are awesome! I think that their home would have been an excellent place for him to go to after he finished his rehab following his sixth year. Originally I listed that he went to a half-way home but their home would have been better! Monica probably would have set it up for him following his release from the 30 day program and I can see her giving him one hell of a speech about minding his damn manners and treating them with respect. Which he would do, you know...for Monica. He would probably have really come to like them, especially if he returned there the summer after his seventh year (ok more than just the summer, if they'd be willing to take him in while he completed his internship). Jesse would come to see them like his family, but he still is somewhat guarded around them. He doesn't see Andre and Emily as parents, but definitely sees them as family, somehow. Dorcas' and his relationship I feel could go from extremely superficial to a deep sibling-like connection. They are both heavily guarded people, both probably very unwilling to let the other in, but willing to make nice for the sake of family and civility. In other aspects they are similar, both can be harsh when angry, stubborn, strong-willed. I'm not entirely sure if they would butt heads because of this or if it would lead them into friendship. I'd like to hear your opinion on how you think they would interact, or we can just throw them in a thread and see how it turns out. I think whatever sort of relationship they have would be carried over to their work, although they would keep it professional.

Jesse would have likely taken Potions at a NEWT level, most likely during his 7th year. I think these two would have gotten along pretty well, potions was one of his favorite classes and with her quirky and fun attitude he would have really enjoyed her class. Of course Jesse would have flirted with her like crazy, but he wouldn't do it enough to make things awkward. More jokingly, as he would know that nothing could happen (although a boy can dream, can't he?). She would have met him at a time in his life when he was more mature, having just lost his girlfriend, unborn child and successfully completed rehab. Maybe his maturity could have been a reason for her to be his friend, not just his professor. He was, after all, 17-18 years old that year. Not quite a child anymore, but still his normal goofy self.

Fergus Jefferson Bones
Unfortunately Jesse would not have been a NEWT level in COMC, more likely than not he would have taken it out of curiosity during 3rd year but lost interest and didn't take it again. But I wish I could find a way for them to interact because Gus is awesome!

These two sound like they could easily be friends. He's not the typical ass-hat Slytherin that a lot of muggleborns knew growing up, he's laid back, fun, friendly. He can be an ass-hat, don't get me wrong, but it's usually warranted. They could have been friends during school or possibly acquaintances. If not then, definitely now since they both work for the Ministry. As long as she can deal with the fact that he's secretly (not so secretly, it's Jesse, let's be real here) drooling over her, they could hang.

Finley Charles Avery
Yaaaas. As I was looking through everyone's applications I knew Finley and Jesse would have haaaaated each other. Jesse's first year at Hogwarts he was really reserved and, although he never admitted it, was terrified of pureblood students. He was completely new to the magical world, muggleborns were going missing every day and he had heard the whispers of death eaters from the student population. It is totally likely that Fin was one of his first impressions of a pureblood and it would NOT have gone well. After his first year he sort of lost his fear and instead went back to his sharp mouth, quick-fisted ways. I'm sure he and Finley got into their fair share of skirmishes (both with fists, and with wands). Jesse is very guarded, so it's hard to get under his skin but he would probably love the fact that Finley would even try (in some sick twisted way, he sort of enjoyed the war they waged against each other). So yes, yes, yes to enemies!

Livia Eleanor Grace Burke
I just read her history and it was ah-mazing, I was kind of laughing! It was great! Anyways *clears throat* I could see them being on friendly terms, but not actually being friends. Jesse is pretty good at being superficial, that's pretty much how he is with everyone. The fact that she is a pureblood but didn't constantly throw it in his face would have been welcomed, especially since he was a muggleborn sorted into a pretty "pure" house. Jesse is all for them having hooked up a few times in the past (why does he like the idea of tainting pureblood chicks?), and if she was snooty toward him he probably would have laughed it off. I can see him being nice to her now, regardless of if she was sort of bitchy to him after their encounters.

Christopher Erebus Devereaux
Yeah, I can't see them really knowing each other much during school. If anything Kit was probably annoyed by Jesse. He was a younger student, breaking rules all the time, a little disrespectful. They probably wouldn't have been acquainted, but he might have seen Jesse being...well, Jesse. Now that they work at the Ministry they probably know each other, and Jesse tries to maintain a friendly semi-professional tone. His more mature nature might take away the stigma of annoying-kid that he once had.

I love the idea of them being friends, but not friends! Haha! She and Jesse would both be sort of hiding their true feelings about each other, her disliking him, him not trusting her as far as he could throw her. There's the possibility that with further death eater influence they reveal their true colors, little by little, and realize they aren't friends. More like enemies.

As for those who are tangled with the Meadow's I can see him finding Tersha Alara Knight bitchiness endearing, his younger years were spent in a lot of slummy neighborhoods and a lot of the "ghetto" girls have attitudes- it would almost be reminiscent of a simpler time for him. He gets along best with strong women. Also I'm having great visions of Jesse and Julian Astraeus Blackthorne dueling in the living room for fun during holidays (probably not a great idea). They're both fighters, it would seem, I think they'd have fun blowing off steam. Geralina Amara Drake and Jesse could be friends, or at least be friendly to one another. He's pretty easy to talk to, which would probably help her get over the initial shyness. He would appreciate her sarcastic, witty humor once he got to know her better.

So here's an idea that I had, it might take a little work, but how do you feel about a support group for families who have suffered from death eater attacks? I was thinking since Jesse works for the Ministry it could be a thing he could propose to Sybil (hellooo good press for her haha). I like the idea of her having been there when he created his first muggle-worthy excuse, it could serve helpful if she sort of liked his word, she might be more willing to go along with the support group? If the support group thing does end up taking off he could meet her there, possibly forming a friendship. As far as Sybil goes I think Jesse would likely have voted for her to gain office, he would be appreciative of her kindness (and sneakiness, maybe even be helping her?). So that's my thoughts on that haha

Yeah, I'm not sure how that ship would have sailed either haha I do like the idea of Perc sort of conspiracy theory explaining where he thinks Merlin's grave is to Jesse in his flat at 2am when they've had a guys night in haha They were at Hogwarts at the same time but quite a few years apart, and in different houses. Idk I'm still thinking on that one
