Connection to the Order: 100 words or more to say 'My cousin told me about it'? You're bloody dreaming, mate. The thing is it's more complicated than Dorcas realises. Paris was introduced to the Order by her aunt and uncle - Dorcas' parents. Dorcas was told about and introduced to the Order near the end of her seventh year. She's been with the Order now for nine years and still isn't aware that her parents are a part of it. She was always going to be a part of the Order it was only a matter of time. Not only did she have Paris in the Order (and secretly her parents) but there's also Geralina, a good friend, and a few people from work - some have been there longer than her, others joined after she.
Useful Skills: Beauty and sarcasm -grins- Dorcas is a highly trained Auror but even before that she wanted to be an auror and so she focused a lot on her school work and methods of self defence. She's an accomplished fighter both with a wand and without. She's proficient with a range of weapons, knives are her favourite but she can use just about anything as a weapon. To date her favourite impromptu weapon was a floppy dildo, but you don't want to hear about that. She's good with non-verbal magic as well as transfiguration. She's changed her appearance for cases as both and auror and as an order member. She's able to produce a corporeal patronus and teaches the newbies to the Order to do the same. As it's not something focused on in Hogwarts and as it's an effective and efficient way of communication between Order Members, it's of paramount importance that the newbies learn as soon as possible.

Why join the Order of the Phoenix? Well the death eaters failed to ask me first. First come, first served basis y'know. No way I can stretch that into 200 or more words. Okay, so that's not true. Dorcas would have laughed her arse off at anyone trying to recruit her as a Death Eater and then she would have punched them in the face and, if they were a guy, kicked them in the ballsand possibly made out with them. She's always had a strong sense of wrong and right but she's always manipulated it to her own views, bent situations to her liking. There's always going to be a lot of injustice in the world and there's always going to be those that need putting away. Dorcas wanted to become an Auror because of her own experiences with pureblood elitists at Hogwarts. She was picked on and bullied and had to rely upon herself to get out of trouble quite a lot. Half the time she landed herself in trouble but she always found it justified (even if the Professors did not). When Dorcas was introduced to the Order it made sense to be apart of an association who wanted the same thing as her - to bring down the bad, the evil - and the Order went after the most evil. Being vigilantes there's a lot to be called into question over whether it's the right thing to do or not. They operate outside of the law without permission, doing as they please all under the command of one man. Dorcas doesn't see this as a problem, it streamlines the process of catching a lot of death eaters and it's quicker and easier to get intel. While the ministry has to follow correct procedures, the Order isn't anywhere near as restricted. It also helps that the Order can get intel on upcoming attacks long before the ministry. In Dorcas' eyes the Order has way more many benefits and there's less room for corruption, unlike departments in the Ministry where it's hard to know who to trust.
