A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
A little bit more annoyance in Clem’s face would have been a nice addition to their make out scene, not because Lyra wished to annoy her sister-in-law but because she was snogging her boyfriend on the landing of her nephew’s birthday party and all she got for the trouble was a remark about ‘lovebirds’. Oh, and Quinn’s lips. Those were a reward all their own. Lyra grinned as she turned around and greeted Clementine with a polite, definitely not ashamed smile. “Clementine, you look gorgeous.” She looked tired, but Lyra wasn't about to say that aloud. She gave her sister-in-law a quick peck on the cheek as she passed by and into the home. “Where have you hidden my brother away?” she called back, not waiting to be escorted in further. Fingers intertwined with Quinn’s, she headed into the drawing room where she already heard voices cooing over the baby.
“Hey there, Daddy,” she said teasingly. Lucian had been a father for a whole year now and it suited him, but it was still weird to think of him as someone’s dad. Lyra dropped Quinn’s hand and pulled her brother in for a hug. She raised herself up and pressed into his shoulder, then spied her own father sitting on the sofa with a biscuit. “Hi daddy,” she said with more sincerity and a bit of a laugh. She released Lucian and looked around. The rest of the grandparents were huddled up together playing with Alec and it appeared she and Quinn might be the first of the next generation to have arrived. Of course Lilith had to show her up by being fashionably late, but where the hell were the rest of her siblings? And Clem’s sister? Lyra was now regretting not pulling Quinn into the bushes for a shag – it would have given them a bit less time with all the old folk. “I suppose no one else is getting a chance with the little bub today, are they?” she asked Loosh. Her nephew was adorable, but Lyra didn’t really have the maternal instinct that made her want to hold whatever baby happened to share the same room as she. She looked at Quinn. “Guess we’d best make our own fun then.” She smirked. “Drinks?”

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Quinn was handsomely underdressed, but when you were the star of the party you could get away with dressing as demure or as outlandish as you wanted. Lyra might have had a bit of experience with that sort of thing, more so the latter. She wasn’t one for anything too out there, fashion-wise, but if it didn’t turn heads then honestly what was the point? As it wasn’t her turn in the spotlight – a ghastly thought but something she strove to remain conscious of – she opted for a slightly more reserved gown for the evening, a simple black, floor length number that Quinn seemed fond of. She had spent a good amount of their earlier conversation talking to her tits, so it was fair to say he approved of her dress.
Lyra was impossibly proud of Quinn and his art, and she knew it was important to him that she be there tonight – not that she had any plans to be elsewhere. She was happy to hang on his arm for a while and play the part of trophy witch for a bit, but the limelight was calling her and she quickly shuffled off to chat up some reporters who had come to cover the show for their respective papers. Her name always drew the reader’s attention, especially after the kidnapping incident, and she was happy to use her fame to bring a little extra attention to Quinn and his fabulous work. They were something of a power couple and she rather liked it. A waiter passed her by and she held up a finger to the reporter she’d been chatting with, then gave the waiter a little summoning wave. “The artist will be wanting some of those.” She pointed over to where Quinn had just been roped into a conversation by a person with their back to Lyra, obscuring their identity if only for a moment. “It is his big night, after all. Be a doll and make sure my handsome beau gets his fill.” She shooed the waiter away as she turned back to the reporter, who’s quill was busy jotting down notes. Lyra caught the words “mental connection” and “adoring couple”.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
“You know, no one knows we’re here yet. We could just slink off somewhere and have a little adult fun before the baby's party.” Lyra smirked at Quinn in a teasing manner as she tugged on the front of his shirt, pulling him up onto the porch in front of her. Lyra’s back was to the door as she flirted shamelessly with her beau before leaning backwards purposefully into the doorbell which chimed on the other side of the large door. “Whoops,” she grinned. By now, Quinn had been to a fair few of her family events, so a tiny party like this was sure to be nothing. A larger party was planned for this weekend, something a bit more formal and spectacular, but if she knew her sister-in-law, which she sort of thought she did at this point despite the women not having spent much of any time alone without her brother as a buffer, Clem was sure to make today’s events something special. A Loosh…well he was just so easy going that Clem could have ordered a half dozen young dragons to act as a pony ride for the guests and Loosh would just go along with it. He was too laid back sometimes, but Lyra loved her brother dearly and was happy for the success he’d found as a family man.
Lyra hadn’t given much thought to starting a family of her own yet, her career didn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon and having a baby would only get in the way of things, but after how heroic Quinn had been last year when she’d had her ordeal with that freaky stalker, if he popped the question Lyra would definitely give it a serious consideration. That was all still such a long ways off and today was about Alexander, not herself – though maybe she’d get a bit of the spotlight today as well. Sneaking off in the middle of an intimate party to shag her boyfriend in one of her brother’s guestrooms was certain to cause a little stir, and Lyra much liked the idea of that. She leaned forward and gave Quinn a quick peck on the lips, smiled, then went in for a much more passionate kiss.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Having hidden away her new little niece or nephew’s outfit in the back of her wardrobe, Lyra gave herself a quick look over in the mirror. She straightened the neckline of her shirt and smoothed out the minor wrinkles that had formed on the front of her skirt. Turning, Lyra checked out her backside and smiled, blowing her reflection a kiss.
She had not been expecting company, but there were a handful of people who never needed to announce themselves before a visit. Her loved ones were always welcome for a pop in, so long as she looked well enough to receive them, which of course she nearly always did. She was a master at quick changes, an absolute must for the theatre, and she only took her makeup off right before going to bed, not wanting to risk needing to pop out for something and having to go through the whole process all over again. She would absolutely die if she were caught by the paparazzi’s cameras without makeup on.
“Coooomiiing,” she sang as she trotted happily to the front of her flat, curious as to who her guest would be. Looking through the peephole, Lyra was assaulted by an enormous arrangement of lilies. They were so large that she couldn’t see the person holding them. Excitedly, she smoothed her hair and straightened herself up, expecting to open the door to Quinn. She slide the lock chain from its channel and let it dangle, taking hold of the handle and turning it as she pulled the door open. “Well hello,” she said in a flirty tone as she opened the door, stopping shortly after having realized it was not Quinn at her doorstep. It wasn’t any one of the people Lyra would have expected to see at her door. Her confusion was visible as she stared at the man a moment longer than was probably smart to do, then she slowly pushed the door so that it wasn’t open as wide as she had originally pulled it to be.
Lyra recognized the man as one of the people from the Winchester Playhouse, and automatically assumed this was the director’s way of trying to persuade Lyra into taking the lead role that she had turned down. “If this Eugene’s attempt to get me to do the show, you can tell him that he’ll have to try harder than mere flowers to win me over.”

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
She assumed their interaction was nearly over now that she knew which potion she would be purchasing and she was standing at the check out counter. Lyra didn’t give it a second thought as she shifted her weight to one leg while she waited on the man, the movement accentuating her perfect backside. Looking down as she unclasped her clutch bag to retrieve her money, his voice pulled her attention. It was just as confident a tone as he had used while explaining to her the potion options as if she were a simpleton, but the words were much more enticing. She looked up and caught a mischievous grin that made her straight up ever so slightly. He waved the potion at her, imagining he was the reason for her need of it. She gave a small, airy laugh as she watched him lean against the counter full of swagger and bravado. Lyra licked her lips subtly and turned her eyes towards the counter, taking advantage of her position to quickly glace around the store. Empty. That was unsurprising, given the dinginess of the shop and the presumably outturned pockets of the regular clientele. Emerald eyes lifted and found his; shockingly blue. She hadn’t noticed before. He was obviously an attractive man, but she’d been focused on his other features. She leaned forward as well, resting her elbow on the counter and her chin in her hand. “You don’t look like much of a beast to me.” Her thoughts began to wander to what other handsome surprises this man might be hiding, beneath his robes perhaps. She returned his smile, clearly taking the bait.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Lyra’s relationship with Quinn was progressing nicely and she was enjoying her time with him. February, she had been rather busy with her play to which there were rumors she’d be nominated for an Olivier Award, but she made time for Quinn to attempt a Valentine’s Day fuss. They’d only seen each other a few times by then, so she wasn’t expecting too much, despite her siblings’ claims that she was “high maintenance” but he had pleasantly surprised her and made a good enough impression that continuing a relationship with him was firmly planted in her mind. More importantly than Valentine’s Day was her birthday, which he exceeded in expectation, and not to be outdone, Lyra returned the favor for his own birthday a few weeks later. He was older – which she liked – and had his own group of mates that she didn’t try to worm her way into, but she enjoyed being shown off to as many of Quinn’s friends as he wanted. Anyone wanting to fawn over her was most welcomed to.
March saw her attending one of Quinn’s mate’s daughter’s birthday parties, an extravagant affair that also doubled as something of a coming out for the new couple. Their small world of the magical social elite was made that much smaller by the fact that her very own sister, Lilith, had married into the Lestrange family and was now the aunt to Quinn’s mate Rodolphus’ daughter. All of their families had been invited to the soiree, which in turn invited many unwelcomed intrusions into her and Quinn’s relationship. Lucian seemed exceptionally put out by the news, but he had his own family to worry about and Lyra told him as much when he attempted to lecture Lyra on the woes of dating older men – a not-so-subtle code for Lyra intruding into his social circle. She made a point of being seen in public with her new beau more often after that.
Taking up a three-month contract for singing at the Ambrosia Lounge, Lyra was forced to forgo a starring role in a new production that was set to open end of summer at Pendragon. The proposed schedules would have left her with absolutely no personal time to herself between the theatre and her concerts, and her apparent celebrity status wasn’t enough to get the show’s rehearsals pushed several months later to accommodate her. She was rather put out by it all, but there was nothing to be done about it if she wanted even a moment to herself during the lovely Spring months. Moreover, she was happy to spend a little time with Quinn, and stirring up the paparazzi with their courtship managed to keep her starlet persona in the limelight well enough. Being seen in public shopping for baby clothes today also helped to fuel the flames of publicity, though she was shopping for her sister’s future little one. Lilith and Rabastan had privately announced that they were expecting not long ago, and Lyra had spent the day with her little sister, Liv, shopping and gossiping.
Standing in front of her wardrobe, Lyra parted her clothes to make room to tuck a little shopping bag away in the back of her closet. There were two little outfits in the bag; an adorable little purple and pink swirled infant’s robe with silver glittered speckled throughout the material that replicated a dreamy twilight sky, and a handsome little green robe with printed frogs in wizards’ hats. She didn’t know whether she was going to have a nephew or a niece, and wanted to be prepared for either when the time came. As she hid her shopping, she heard what sounded like a knock at her front door. Unconcerned with the potential for intruders in her secure building, Lyra called to the unknown visitor. “I’m in the bedroom, I’ll be right out.”

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Lyra’s knowledge of bingo prizes seemed about as well-versed as Quinn’s but she laughed regardless. “At least you didn’t toast to meat baskets,” she remarked with a grin, clinking her martini glass against his and making googly eyes at him before taking a sip. Cheesy chat up lines and bingo mums, indeed. Lyra made a mental note to pester her mum for any information she might know about Mrs Blackwood’s son without letting on that they’d met at the club. Her parents were already worried about her stalker despite Lyra considering it a minor irritation at best, they didn’t need to fret about her sullying the Burke name by bouncing from one wizard or witch to another. She liked to keep her romantic life between herself, her partners, and the tabloids (so long as it brought her any sort of notoriety or heightened her status as a celebrity). Sunday tea chatting about boyfriends and girlfriends was not on the agenda, but this wouldn’t be the first time she pulled information about a potential suitor’s family from her mum, and based on her track record, it wouldn’t be the last.
The music was loud but Lyra quite liked chatting with this handsome bloke who made awful toasts, so she decided to invite him out to the patio where they could talk more comfortably. “I need a bit of fresh air,” she said, leaning in closer to him so that he could hear the hint of seduction in her voice properly. “Care to join me?” She smiled at him invitingly as she pulled herself back and then nodded in the direction of the patio before turning around and heading out through the crowd toward two large glass doors. As she approached, the doors magically opened for her and a cool breeze struck her, blowing at the long fringe that framed her face.
Chatting lead to more serious flirting – none of those horrid chat up lines – and flirting led to snogging on the patio chairs. She might have rushed having that second drink so early in the evening without giving herself time to absorb some of the alcohol. Normally, Lyra wouldn’t have allowed herself in such a compromising scene in public, at least not unplanned, but she found Quinn very charming and more attractive than his charms was how real he was. He wasn’t like other actors or artists she’d dated in the past, all wrapped up in their own worlds to properly pay her attention. It might have just been an act he put on to woo the starlet but Lyra was falling for it hook, line, and sinker. When they departed separately, she wasn’t so intoxicated that she thought going home with a strange bloke after publicly snogging him right under the paparazzi’s eyes, she left him with her contact details and an expectation that he ring her later for a proper date.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Gorgeous, semi naked men dancing in the center of a room full of well dressed, respectable ladies. It was perfect, and judging from Lilith’s expression, Lyra had thus far done well with her duties as a bridesmaid. The entertainment was the easy part of the night, it was keeping to Lilith’s high expectations for more than 20 minutes that would be the challenging part but thankfully Lyra was not alone in this endeavor. Liv had her part in the evening’s events, the drinks and appetizers being superbly done. Lyra finished a glass of champagne and found a waitress with a full tray to swap her glass out. She could hear Livvi hollering next to her at the oiled up men, and Lyra joined in, demanding they “Take it off” and a few other lude comments Lyra wouldn’t normally be caught dead speaking aloud in mixed company. The music was upbeat and she couldn’t help but bounce along to it, watching her sister’s flushed face just beyond the bare arse cheeks of a tan man who was shaking his hammocked junk in Lilith’s direction. A few of the other women were making remarks about shagging the men and Lyra laughed, sipping her drink between hoots and hollers, not bothering to spoil the mood by letting on that the majority of the strippers were in fact gay, but if the money was right, she wouldn’t put it past a few to take a witch into the back room and please her.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
His face was so expressive, Lyra found herself watching the little wrinkles that formed between his eyebrows or across his forehead as he reacted to her horrid chat up line. “Just a smidge,” she said with a smirk, her nose wrinkling as she gave a little wink in his direction. He very well could have been Lucifer himself, he was dashing enough to qualify on looks alone, but he seemed like a fun spirit and if she were doomed to an eternity in the pits of hell Lyra considered going willingly if accompanied by this bloke. Not that she was slated for a fiery demise, nor that she even really believed in hell as a part of the afterlife. Lyra didn’t generally like to think on her death, though she’d been known to threaten it a time or two in a more dramatic moment particularly in her teenage years. Living was much more her speed and she liked to live life to the fullest, ensuring everyone saw how fabulous she was as often as possible.
Cutie introduced himself properly, giving Lyra a name to refer to him by instead of ‘Cutie’ which was still more than appropriate for her own thoughts. “Lovely to meet you, Mister Blackwood.” A flirtatious smile appeared as she tilted her head downward ever so slightly, looking up at him through her long lashes. “I’m Lyra,” she said simply, not bothering to give her surname as she assumed this was mostly a formality – everyone knew who she was. “Not that I want to admit my chat up line wasn’t flawlessly executed, because it was,” she gave him a cheeky grin as the bartender brought her drink over and she reached for it, “but you do look familiar. I think my mum might play bingo with yours. Betty Burke?” She sipped her drink, awaiting his response but not expecting him to keep track of his mother’s friends. Lyra certainly didn’t know all of her mum’s friends, and she really was just grasping at straws to find a link between them. It wouldn’t look very good if Quinn had been a beau of Lilith’s in the past and she was seen flirting with him now, but a family friend was perfectly acceptable should they be caught on camera and plastered on front page of some tabloid come morning.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Perfectly shaped eyebrows raised in amusement as Cutie insinuated she was trying to pick him up. His accent was thick and she recognized it right away as definitively Irish. There were certain accents Lyra couldn’t help but adore, a French accent on a woman, a Spanish accent on a man. This Irish accent was definitely a perk of being able to hear Cutie better, and she appreciated that he was quick witted enough to call her our on her overused line, despite her being completely sincere in her question. “Heard it a thousand times, or used it? At least I don’t go ‘round smashing ladies’ shoes as an opener. If I want to buy someone a drink, I just buy it.” She flashed a dazzling smile at him as she waved her fingers delicately at the bartender to catch his attention. “Dirty martini,” she said as the bartender walked to their part of the bar, her eyes still on Cutie trying to figure out where she knew him from. He looked a bit older, and while she’d been out of school several years now, it wasn’t so long ago that she thought she’d forget a face like that had they shared any lessons or even a common room. Perhaps he was one of Lilith’s ex-boyfriends, or a mate of Lucian’s. Or he was just a really attractive bloke and Lyra’s brain was trying to justify her spending any time with him when she’d only come here to unwind. “So, did it hurt?” she asked Cutie, looking down at his feet – which clearly struggled to keep him moving straight on the dance floor – then back up to his light eyes, “when you feel from Heaven?” This time it was a chat up line, and a damned cheesy one at that, but he wasn’t the only one who could be funny.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Normally, the man’s forward comment would have been correct. Lyra was not regularly anxious over much of anything. She had more confidence than most people her age, and so long as she was made the center of attention, she was quite happy with herself. She was stunning, and not just being arrogant when she thought so. Her beauty had graced magazine covers and there were fan clubs devoted to her, not to mention the hordes of people who queued up for her performances like she was the sodding Beatles. There were times when she got down on herself, as everyone had, but nothing to the point of needing to be medicated, and certainly not frequent enough to be slapped with any sort of label. She took the man’s remark as a compliment, though it could be viewed in a different light were she in another mood, and she followed him to another section of the shop.
The man stopped and looked over the labels on the shelves where they now stood, Lyra looking over his shoulder as he plucked two different potions from their place on the wall. He held them up in turn and gave her the layman’s description. Lyra wasn’t certain what she needed, exactly, but she was educated enough to gather his meaning had he spoken more eloquently and professionally about each elixir. She wondered if he was dumbing things down for her sake – the dumb blonde trope was quite popular – or if he was so under educated that this was the most accurate description he could muster. Brains didn’t mean all that much when you were attractive, though she liked to fancy herself as possessing both, and she was sure this gentleman (the term used rather loosely in this case) didn’t need to rely on much of anything with a face like his.
Insinuating that she’d not given him enough details of her situation in order for him to make an appropriate recommendation, Lyra’s brow raised slightly. “I was under the impression it depended on the size of my coin purse,” she said with only a slight hint of superiority in her words. “I’ll take that one, please.” She pointed to the plum colored vapor and turned away from the man, her hips swaying effortlessly as she walked away toward the register. She didn’t bother to look back, but certain the man was watching her walk away, unless he preferred men in which case his good looks were a waste as far as she was concerned.

London Nerissa James & Kingston Valisios James -- King would have been too busy with his own life to worry about a new sister. He was already at school when she was born so he did miss out on a lot of that crucial early bonding moments, and then after school he was busy working so yeah, I agree they would care about each other in a 'we're family so we have to' sort of way but unless she reached out to him he would be too busy to ever stop to think that he needed to work on improving his relationship with London. Now that she's initated something a little more, he's pleased to catch up with her over tea or to give her a brotherly lecture about how she's wasting her time with this pseudo-boyfriend of hers, but he's proud of her career goals and what she's accomplished so far. The James girls love their auntie and will regularly ask for playdates. London Nerissa James & Dorian Michael Humbert -- Which department of the hospital does she work in? Would he ever cross paths with her if he were injured on the job? London Nerissa James & Euphadora Rose Parkinson -- Yes! Dora would totally support her being pushy. She would just die to get a shot with Raph. Dora thinks Lo and Will are adorable together and she has affectionately named them Willo - "I saw Willo snogging in the courtyard again, not sure of the last time either of them came up for air. Might have to pull them apart with a crowbar." Also, Theon was friends with Will, so they probably all hung out a little while in school before Theon died. London Nerissa James & Amelia Margaret Greengrass -- Yup, friends but Amy totally snogged Will and she would have also casually mentioned anyone else who Will was dating or showing an interest in, too, just to turn the knife. London Nerissa James & Lyra Ophelia Genevieve Burke -- Sounds perfect! Lyra enjoys people who let her shine, because she's going to make it about her one way or another and this is just soo much easier. XD London Nerissa James & Oliver Osiris Devereaux -- Excellent. How does she get on with Echo? London Nerissa James & Sirius Lee Black -- He'd be happy to oblige. He knows she and Will have plans to get back together and he's fine with that - not looking for anything sirius at all (get it?!) but she was fun and he'd be up for it whenever the mood struck. London Nerissa James & Darcy Eleanor Davies -- Sounds great. Darcy's always up for a girl's night. London Nerissa James & Hazel Winifred Vector -- She liked London. She thought she was a nice girl with her head on straight. And while I'm here, let me make a few suggestions for my new brain baby Katya Karkaroff : All of your food obsessed, non-snobbish characters have the standing connection plot which is that they've eaten at the restaurant where Katya is the head chef. As for Zachary Oscar Zeller I guess we'll have to see who makes the first move. *wink*

Fame is a double-edged sword. Lyra loves the attention her celebrity has afforded her and the high of performing is like little else she's ever experienced, but with notoriety comes fans and not all of them are harmless. This want is for an existing stalker that has been mentioned casually in some of her threads (she'd be oh so flattered if you gave her scenes another read). PSYCHO STALKER
WIZARD or SQUIB - LATE 20s/EARLY 30s - JAMES McAVOY
Pretty much everything about this man is open. He can be of any legal age, though I've suggested somewhere between 20-30 but if you'd like to go a different route that fine. He fell in love with Lyra early in her career and perhaps started out as a casual fan, unafraid to use what she believes is his real name when signing his love letters that he manages to leave in locations he should not be able to have access to - like her home and private dressing room. Her family has hired a private security guard to keep her safe but even then he is managing to get to her in ways he shouldn't be. I think there could be great potential for some fun drama (assault, kidnapping, etc.) and I'm really up for anything at this point. If you have an existing character you want to play the part, that might work, or you can make a brand new character. Suggested face claim is James McAvoy because he's attractive in a creepy way which I think is perfect for this character but not a requirement. PM if you have any questions. <3

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
The conversation dwindled to mime-work and Lyra smiled, giving a soft unheard laugh as Cutie gestured that he was going to the bar and had apparently been trying to invite her. Bloody loud music, it was excellent for forgetting your cares and dancing the night away but now she was wishing for something at a little more reasonable volume so she could actually hear this bloke. It would be so disappointing to flirt with such a handsome man only to get him home and discover he had an effeminate voice. He wouldn’t be the first man to have their sex-god status shattered by a girlish speaking voice but he was so attractive, Lyra really hoped this wasn’t the case.
She followed along the short distance off the dancefloor and over to the bar where the music was a little less intense. They’d still have to use raised voices to be heard but she was certain she’d be able to keep up a conversation with him here, so long as he was capable of having a conversation. If he was, perhaps she’d suggest they go out to the patio where the music would be even more dulled and they could really flirt properly but this was good for now. She wasn’t planning on having another drink so early in the evening, but Cutie was offering and she supposed it wouldn’t hurt to speed things up a bit, so long as she didn’t have anymore after that.
Lyra admired his rear as she followed him to the bar and a nagging feeling came over her that she’d admired him bum before. But where? She slid into an opening at the bar next to Cutie and leaned against the edge of the bar top, looking more thoughtfully at his face. “Have we met before?” she asked, her voice raised slightly but finding she didn’t need to yell in this part of the club. It sounded like a pick up line. Had he said it to her she would have rolled her eyes at him and walked away, because men were rarely sincere when they asked that question but now that she was paying more attention he really did look familiar.

A girl should be two things classy and fabulous
Not certain at all that she was looking in the right place, Lyra seemed to be in a section of potions devoted to digestive issues. Definitely not what she was looking for. Luckily the shop attendant must have sensed her confusion and come to assist her, a surprising turn of events in an establishment like this. She’d played it up in her mind that shopping at Slugg and Jiggers was going to be nothing like anyplace she’d ever gone before, from the dirty floors to the grime on the windows to the dingy sign out front that looked to be in need of replacing. She wasn’t far off in her vision of how this would all go down, but she’d not pictured such attentive staff. Nor such an attractive one.
Lyra put on a smile, the sort of smile a man responded well to from a woman, feigning a need to be rescued without looking completely like a lost puppy. “Yes, actually.” She glanced at the little name tag he wore on his chest then back to his golden colored eyes. “You see, Julian, I’m looking for a calming draught to settle my nerves a bit, and clearly I don’t know where to look.” Referencing the bottles and vials surrounding their immediate area, clearly labeled for problems Lyra would have been mortified to admit to in front of such a handsome bloke. “I’ve never had a need for such a potion before, you see.” The last thing Lyra needed, on top of a stalker who was coming ever closer approaching her in person, was for her fans to think of her as stoner. Sure, she’d partook in a little fun here and there, she was in the entertainment industry after all. It was one thing to smoke a joint or take a hit off an elixir at a party or cast dinner, and quite another to be blazed all day and having to resort to personal trips to the apothecary on your own in order to get your fix, no matter your preference.
