Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more Her flowing dress caught on a leaf here, a twig there as Lucy walked to the throne. It seemed huge now that she was closer to it. Lupercalia. Who'd have thought such a thing existed at a school? It had been a bit of a surprise to find out about it, and Lucy would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. She was no prude but shacking up with some random guy in the forest was a bit of a daunting prospect. She really couldn't see herself doing anything tonight, not even a kiss really, unless she was matched with someone she really liked. She wouldn't rule a kiss out, but more than that just seemed a bit silly and reckless, two things Lucy definitely was not. She didn't have a clue who the hat would choose to pair her up with, and her head was empty of ideas or suggestions as she passed her peers, then Professor McGonagall, and finally sat upon the throne. The Sorting Hat was placed on her head, and Lucy froze, her eyes glued to the frosty grass at her feet. "Hmmm, not the most enthusiastic, are we?" Lucy couldn't form a response. It was strange having someone inside your head reading your innermost thoughts. She had thought nothing of it aged eleven when she was being sorted but now that she was older it dawned on her that it was rather intrusive. She wasn't keen. "Don't worry, you'll soon warm up to the idea. I know exactly who you'll have a night to remember with." Luce stiffened. The hat had made a decision. Her heart raced as her pale hands gripped the arms of the throne tightly. "HEATH SCAMANDER!" Lucy's eyes widened, and then the most relaxed sensation flowed through her entire body. Heath. Yes, he was her ultimate crush, but they'd been spending a bit more time together over the last few months and she was more comfortable in his presence than any of the other guys that could have been chosen for her. She stood from the throne, dark eyes scanning the crowds until she saw him stand, like some golden god rising from the throngs of commoners. Lucy smiled. Lupercalia, eh? _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 405 notes: <3 outfit: Not so innocent. template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more Lucy had spent time with her friends, and different groups of them at that. She had some that didn't like each other, and some that did, and it all worked out usually, but when everyone was in the hall, all together, it made things a little bit tricky. She'd figured it out and made sure to spend time with each little group or individual that she wanted, but there were still a few people she was yet to see. Phoebe had told her earlier that she would catch up with her later, which led Luce to think they'd be sleeping next to each other and wouldn't get much shut eye at all because Phoeb's could talk like no one else. For now, she was content to steal a little bit of quiet time with a book. She liked to be sociable, but usually she liked to read before bed, and a sleepover was no excuse to break routine. She had excused herself and found a nice pile of cushions to sink into in a quieter area of the hall, and her nose was thoroughly buried in her book when she heard his voice. Lucy smiled immediately. Heath. Her whole body felt warmer just knowing he was near, and she was sure the happy expression on her face made her look like an idiot, but she couldn't control it. She shook her head slowly at his question. Of course he could join her. He could join her anywhere. In the hall, in the lake, on a broom, hanging perilously off a cliff. There was no place or occasion that she wouldn't be happy to see him. She didn't let him know that, obviously, that wouldn't be cool at all, but the feeling was definitely there. "Well, since you brought chocolate," she said, placing her finger in her book and closing it over. She shuffled over to make space for him on her pile of cushions. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 364 notes: <3 outfit: It's cold out there, but it's warm in bed. template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more A date. He'd thrown the word out there so casually that he likely meant nothing by it, though Lucy's stomach still did a little flip flop at the word. And before she could even form the words to respond, he was gone. A swish of golden hair, a flash of a crooked smile and she was alone in the snow with a heart that was fluttering a little bit too wildly. He was literally the coolest guy in the world. Well, maybe not the world, but her world. She found herself staring off into snow-covered space for a long time before she realised that she was freezing cold, and her journey back into the castle was a stiff one. There was an odd smile on her face for the rest of the day, and though nobody questioned her about it, she wouldn't have told a soul the reason behind it. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 185 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans, jumper, boots, coat. template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more Poop was not what she expected to be talking about with Heath right then, or at any point to be truthful, but he made it sound so normal, so casual, that she wasn't put off. "Books are definitely better than poop," she agreed, though she did enjoy animals, too. Maybe not cleaning up after them, but she was sure she'd learn if she got herself a pet of her own when she was older and living in her own home. Her face lit up when he mentioned wanting to go book shopping in the January sales. She had not expected him to invite her along, but she couldn't deny she was more than happy about it. "Oh, yeah, I'd love to! There's this new book shop just opened in Mystic Alley, Salem's Lot, I've been wanting to check it out, maybe we could go there," she suggested, loving the idea of exploring every nook and cranny of a new book shop. And with Heath by her side, well, that was just some sort of dream state that shouldn't be a reality, yet here she was, planning for it. She was already saving her Christmas money up in her head so that she could spend pretty much all of it on new tomes and tales. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 249 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans, jumper, boots, coat. template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more Lucy's smile was wry. "Ahh, well you're in luck. I happen to be marginally intellectual." And then some. She was a smartypants on her worst days, positively glowing with intelligence on her best. The hat had been quite excited when it had been placed upon her head. "A wonderful mind full of wisdom and eagerness to learn," it had told her, before bellowing "Ravenclaw!" into the Great Hall. She had expected to be placed in the house of the Eagle, but maybe not so fast. A little bit of back and forth with the hat had always been what she had imagined her Sorting would involve, but such a swift and sure placement had been encouraging. She knew she was in the right place, that she truly belonged in the Ravenclaw tower, and it was lovely to feel so settled from day one. Heath reassured her, maybe without meaning to, that her walkabout was not completely pointless. It was, indeed, good for the soul. And his little Tolkien quote thrilled her more than she was willing to let on. A guy who read was one of the most attractive things in the world. To Lucy at least. "Still round the corner there may wait a new road or a secret gate," she replied, again quoting the great Tolkien. It was endlessly true of the castle. You never knew what you might find around each corner. Or whom. She shrugged when he asked about her plans for Christmas. She didn't really have any, she would be doing whatever her mum wanted. That sounded lame, so she dodged around the brutal truth and went for a softer answer. "We're spending Christmas day at Phoebe's house this year," she said, knowing Heath was familiar with her cousin. Familiar might have been a mild word for it, Heath and Phoebe had dated for a bit before they'd 'gotten a bit too sexy for each other' as Phoebe had put it. "Aside from that, I'm not sure. Hopefully my mum won't try and keep us busy with too much, I'd like a bit of free time." Time to read, play in the snow, or just hang out in the bedroom that she hardly spent any time in would be nice. "What are you going home to?" she asked, knowing Heath had a big family. He would likely be kept busy, too. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 431 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans, jumper, boots, coat. template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more He thought she looked nice and rugged up. She could do without the rugged up bit, but the nice part was more than welcome. She did look rugged up to be fair. Her boots were definitely winter warmers, and her black coat was chunkier than one might like to be discovered in by their crush. She should have worn something sleeker, but honestly, the cold was actually that cold, and it wasn't worth getting sick for the sake of vanity. Besides, she couldn't have predicted running into Heath here, so she'd just have to make do with being bundled up. Luce would have commented in how Heath looked, but he looked bloody spectacular, as usual, and she worried that she'd embarrass herself if she mentioned it. She glanced down at her boots, still nestled in Heaths old footprints. "I followed my feet," she answered with the smile of someone who felt a bit silly saying such a thing. It was only the truth, though. "The universe clearly wanted me to find you," she added, glancing at the spot on the bench he had cleared for her. She hesitated for a few seconds before sitting next to him. One butt cheek was warm-ish where Heath had shuffled over a bit, the other butt cheek was right over there on the untouched patch of bench, freezing cold. She ignored it, tucking her hands between her thighs for warmth. "What are you doing out here?" she asked, glancing around the empty courtyard and wondering why he would want to sit out here in the cold alone. She understood needing alone time, and it was beautiful out here, but likely only in short bursts. More than fifteen minutes and her bum would be frozen solid to the bench. She would happily sit there all day and freeze if it meant spending time with Heath. She was insane. She was actually insane. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 352 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans, jumper, boots, coat. template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more Lucy threw her banana skin in the bin, done with lunch and quite frankly bored. Her homework was finished, she'd put her morning to good use, and aside from spending the afternoon reading, she really was at a loss. She didn't want to be cooped up in the common room for the rest of the day, she'd been in there for hours already. It was cold outside, but she had warming charms on her coat, perhaps it would be nice to just have a little walk and see all of the decorations that had been put up around the castle for Christmas. She'd seen the main ones already, but there had to be more that she'd missed. So, she took herself on a little tour, navigating the changing staircases until she had counted fifteen trees dotted about the castle that she'd not noticed so far. There were tinsel and wreaths draped around the walls, holly decorated the windows, and every now and then she would see a sprig of mistletoe hanging over a doorway, or in an archway as she passed under. Her feet carried her to the ground floor, and she found herself at the entrance to one of the smaller courtyards. It was deserted, as usual, students only using it to travel between classes. It was useless on a weekend, but the snow lay perfectly on the ground, mostly untouched except for a single set of footprints that meandered through the white powder. Absentmindedly, Luce followed them, fitting her smaller foot inside the larger footprints so she didn't disturb the perfection of the snow that lay around them. It would be perfect out here for making snow angels. Maybe she'd try that before she went back inside. Crunch. Crunch. Crunch. She followed the footprints until a pair of shoes appeared in front of her. Luce looked up. "Oh." It was only Heath Scamander sitting at a bench right in front of her. No big deal. Just the hottest guy in school. Her heart kicked into gear, beating faster just at the sight of him. She'd seen him a few times over the summer, but he never failed to dazzle her just with his presence. She smiled, forcing herself to relax and keep her cool. She was not a bumbling idiot, she was an intelligent, confident young lady with her head screwed on and her feet planted firmly on the ground... in her crush's footprints. "Heath, hey." That sounded cool enough, right? _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 448 notes: <3 outfit: Jeans, jumper, boots, coat. template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more "Yeah," Luce nodded. "Powerful." But not as powerful as the effect it had on her when Heath ran a hand through his golden hair. Or when he looked at her with those mysterious blue eyes. Merlin, she sounded like a bit of a creepy stalker, but honestly, she couldn't really ignore how lovely he was to look at. Could anybody? Well, actually, none of her friends had ever mentioned fancying him, but maybe that's because it had never come up before. Phoebe knew about Lucy's crush, but aside from her cousin, she hadn't mentioned it to anyone, so why would they bring him up in conversation. Maybe they all wanted a piece of him and she was just oblivious to it. There was nothing wrong with admiring someone, anyway, and her crush was perfectly healthy. Perfectly. Like his butt. That was perfectly something, too. Especially in his school trousers, which seemed to cling to it just so, and holy moly, she was a creepy stalker! He mentioned the upcoming bonfire, and Lucy's eyes lit up. She was looking forward to that more than anything. Just being able to relax and have fun with her friends was definitely something she needed. And having the whole school come together for the same reason was always a buzz, everyone was always on such a high, with exams over and summer holidays approaching. It was definitely one of her favourite yearly events. "I can't wait," she answered with a bright smile. "Music, dancing, marshmallows, summer nights. Are you going?" she asked, feeling instantly stupid for asking. There were a tiny minority of students who wouldn't be attending for one reason or another, it was highly likely that Heath would be there. Why else would he have mentioned it? She could feel a slight blush creeping to her cheeks, but she ignored it in the hopes that it was dark enough that he wouldn't notice. 'Play it cool, Luce. Play it cool,' she told herself as she tried to force her embarrassment away. They reached a staircase, and she began a heavy ascent, tiredness washing over her with every step. She focused on getting up the stairs in one piece. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 400 outfit: School uniform notes: *dreamy sigh* <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more And now he was speaking, and angels were singing, and the moon shining through the castle windows was ready to burst with happiness and rain little bubbles of love all over everyone. Lucy felt like she was floating along the corridor as she closed the gap between them, and she was starting to think it was nothing to do with the elixir she had been given by Madam Pomfrey, and everything to do with the presence of the most beautiful boy in the world. She cleared her throat, not wanting to make an idiot out of herself by croaking at him like some sort of toad. "Heath, hi," she said, smiling again. Could she smile again if she hadn't stopped smiling in the first place? He waited for her to catch up and then fell into step beside her, her arm gently brushing his. She was too close. She couldn't very well move away now, he'd think she didn't want to walk with him or something. Maybe he'd think he smelled bad. He smelled wonderful, she couldn't have him thinking that. "Yes," she answered. "A little bit too much, if I seem spacey it's just one of Madam Pomfrey's headache potions kicking in." She laughed softly, hardly noticing the pain in her skull any more. It had dulled to a gentle pulsing throb in her temples. She half wondered if she'd manage to make it all the way up to the common room without having to crawl at some stage. The corridor was slightly rosy all around the edges, as though someone had placed a soft blanket over everything. Come to think of it, Madam Pomfrey had told her to sleep well just as she'd left, and there had been a suspicious smile on the woman's face. Had she put a touch of sleeping potion in with the pain elixir to help a stressed student sleep better? Anything was possible, and there was always the fact that it was late, and Luce was overtired. It was probably just that. She shifted her school bag higher up her shoulder. It felt heavier than ever now that she'd loaded it up with extra books to get her through the week, but they were necessary. "How about you? Ready for a killer week?" she asked, wondering if Heath was at all stressed about his exams. He always seemed so chilled, it was hard to imagine anything ruffling him too much. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 442 outfit: School uniform notes: *dreamy sigh* <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Give me love like never before 'cause lately I've been craving more "That should start working in about ten minutes, my love," Madam Pomfrey told her with a warm smile. Lucy nodded as she was shooed out of the Hospital wing quietly. She hadn't really had a choice but to visit, she'd spent so much time revising over the last couple of weeks, that she was getting headaches regularly. She'd spent most of her night holed up in the library studying Ancient Runes for her exam first thing in the morning, and had only stopped when the throbbing ache in her skull became unbearable. She'd considered just going to her dorm and trying to sleep it off, but she'd honestly never felt pain like it, not in the form of a headache. She had overdone it, and now she was paying for it. Luckily Madam Pomfrey had a quick elixir on hand to give to her, and it hadn't been the first time she'd needed it. She was advised that studying until the wee hours of the morning was not necessarily the best thing for her, and not to worry too much about her O.W.L's. It was sound advice. She was smart, she'd do just fine in her exams, and rest was just as important as jamming as much information into her brain as possible. There wasn't much more she could do. Luce meandered her way through the castle, soft light from the torches lining the walls guiding her way. Every now and then her hand moved to her forehead to give it a rub, as though she could press the pain away with her fingertips, but by the time she reached the fourth floor it was hardly necessary any more. The pain elixir was kicking in, and she could feel herself relaxing as she walked, footsteps tapping out a steady rhythm on the stone floor as she exited a narrow passageway onto the fifth floor. Wait. There were double taps on the floor. Two sets of footsteps. Lucy wasn't alone. She slowed a little bit as she reached a corner, and paused to poke her head around it, brown eyes wide. She wasn't easily scared, but the castle at night could be slightly creepy, especially when you were on your own. The sight she saw down the corridor in front of her was far from creepy, and she half wondered if her elixir was causing pleasant hallucinations. Heath Scamander. His back was to her as he walked, head dipped over a book, but she would recognise his toe if it was the only part of him visible, she was sure of it. Luce had had such a crush on him for years now. He was the most beautiful boy in school. Those luscious lips, that chiselled jaw, large dreamy eyes, and a mess of golden hair that fell over his face just so. She could imagine it doing just that as he tipped his head to read his book, though her view was obscured. The image was perfect in her head. Lucy rounded the corner and carried on walking. If Heath was going back to the common room then they would be walking the same path through the rest of the castle. It was not an unpleasant thought, though with her ever fluffy head she did worry about having to interact with him at some point. Maybe she could just stay back here and trail him. Because that wasn't creepy. He closed his book suddenly, and she watched with wide eyes as he turned his head to glance over his shoulder. Lucy smiled. _______________________ tag: Heath Jarred Scamander words: 629 outfit: School uniform notes: *dreamy sigh* <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Mr Dafoe"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Luce needs her crush! She's infatuated with this guy, and likes to swoon over him from afar around the castle. Whether he's noticed or not is up to you, but either way, he needs to notice her soon-ish, so come and play! FIRST MIDDLE LAST
ANY BLOOD STATUS - 16 YEARS OLD - ANY HOUSE - JAMIE CAMPBELL BOWER
This cutie is Luce's ultimate crush. She has such a thing for him, and I really want him to notice her and for them to start dating. Whether it works out or not, I don't know, I guess we'll have to play it out and see, but she needs some adventure. He has to be outgoing enough to shake up my little bookworm's world a bit, but not a bad guy. Maybe a bad guy, I don't know. XD Just a bit naughty? Lucy is the sensible girl, she'll be able to reign him in a bit, while he spices her life up. Totally complimentary. Face is Jamie Campbell Bower, and please keep it because... gifs. He can be any house, any blood status, any name, just make him the same year as her so they can go through school together. PM with any questions! <3

PERSONALITY Boggart: Four walls closing in around her. They would get closer and closer, pinning her into a tiny box. Luce has claustrophobia. Mirror of Erised: At the moment, her desires are quite frivolous. She would see herself kissing her crush, who is, according to Luce, THE hottest guy in the entire school. Patronus: Snowy Owl - Lucy can conjure small wisps of a Patronus that will one day be an owl. Though smart enough to begin attempting the spell, she's not quite there yet, and doesn't think her happy memories are strong enough.
Lucy is on the quieter side, as far as personalities go, though she's confident enough, she's not by any means shy, just more of an introvert than more in your face types. She's happy enough to be paired with people she doesn't know in lessons, and can make the most of less desirable situations, though she will be a little bit more reserved around people she's not entirely comfortable around. She is a scholastic sponge, she soaks up information easily and is super smart, often being someone her Professors pair up with younger students for tutoring purposes. She doesn't mind helping out, but it's not her favourite thing, she would rather be having fun with friends.
Having the brightest smile, Lucy loves to laugh. She's easy to get along with, and always forthcoming with her thoughts or opinions. Not so much her feelings, you have to earn her trust to hear all about those, but the less personal bits are there for all to see. She will socialise happily with her friends, and join in on any fun adventures, though she's usually the one looking out for the wilder kids, the one who hangs back and makes sure everyone is okay. She's the voice of reason in the face of one too many butterbeers, and she is most definitely the one with her head screwed on at all times. It's very rare that she gets carried away without thinking of consequences. There are always consequences.
HISTORY Mother: Lucinda Fawcett, 46, muggleborn, Gryffindor Alumna Father: Jeremy Fawcett, 51, halfblood, Gryffindor Alumni Siblings: Sadie Fawcett, 22, sister, halfblood, Hufflepuff Alumna Henry Fawcett, 20, brother, halfblood, Gryffindor Alumni Partners: None at the moment, but there's a boy she's crushing on at school. Others: Marlene McKinnon, 42, paternal Auntie, halfblood Frederick McKinnon, 45, Uncle-in-law, halfblood Lewis McKinnon, 21, cousin, halfblood Riley McKinnon, 18, cousin, halfblood Phoebe Amberly McKinnon , 16, cousin, halfblood Hollie McKinnon, 14, cousin, halfblood Thomas McKinnon, 10, cousin, halfblood
Lucy is the baby of the Fawcett family. With an older sister and brother, she had a full set of people around to make sure she grew up well rounded. She was good at sharing, she could socialize well from a young age, and she picked up speech and other things faster because she had so many people to copy. She was always on the quieter side, but happy enough. She liked to sit and read more than anything, and her favourite place when she was little was the local library, where she would beg her dad to take her every weekend so that she could take out some new books, which she would read within a day, and then have to wait a whole week for new ones. Luckily she had the patience to do just that, and her parents got her her own bookcase for her bedroom, so she could start to build her own book collection. She was sorted into Ravenclaw once she was old enough to attend Hogwarts, and there really wasn't anywhere else for her. The library at the castle quickly became her favourite place, and she would spend her weekends in there, amazed by the sheer number of books available to her. She had plenty of friends, and found her lessons easy, and honestly, school life was a dream for her. She had a go at flying in her first year, but it really wasn't for her. For all Luce's brains, she's better with her feet on the ground, because she really couldn't master the art of not falling off her broom. She's in her fifth year now, and spends her time studying, reading, hanging out with her friends, and daydreaming about her crush, who might actually notice her one day. Can he please notice her now? She's dying. It's torture. OOC Play By: Lily Collins Your Alias: Izzy Pronouns: Her/she. Age: Shush. Other Characters: A few. Where did you find us: Spoon!! |
