She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
Leo had been there for her at really strange and difficult times since they’d first been introduced, and much more so in the last month or so. It was clear they were becoming more than just casual acquaintances and while Dora knew Leo wouldn’t stoop so low as to actually spend any quality time with her as something more than a friend, she was certain she could keep him in her life as, at the very least, a fuck buddy. He may have had confidence in spades but Dora had practicality on her side, and she knew the best way to keep a decent bloke around was to follow her mother’s advice and keep him as happy as possible for as long as possible. In Dora’s experience that was usually for a few hours at a time and generally late at night when it was traditionally the expected hour of the booty owl. Leo had enough class to invite her around without trying to get into her knickers, but if she wanted to keep getting the invitations she would have to put out sooner rather than later, and she certainly wasn’t upset by that. He was gorgeous. Like, leading actor gorgeous. And Merlin’s beard, was he an excellent kisser! If he was that good up north she could only imagine what he could do in the other regions.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
The hunky hero helped Dora to her feet and she nodded to the idea of getting dried off. She was soaked, her hair was a mess (though admittedly in better shape than Everwhore’s), and she wasn’t sure where her shoes were. Had she had them when she arrived? Dora couldn’t remember how she even got to Leo’s house, let alone where her shoes or handbag were. All she knew was that Ollie’s whore better not speak about her kid again. “Try me again, skank!” she called over her shoulder, flinging Echo’s probably overly processes hair onto the ground before she stepped inside the large mansion. The temperature difference inside the comfortable home made Dora shiver as the pair left wet footprints everywhere they went. Dora had no idea where they were going or even where to attempt to lead them, having only visited once before and over a year ago. Her head was spinning and she let this guy lead her wherever she needed to be.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
She gasped as Hunter poured the glass of blood in front of her, the view of approaching vampires cut off swiftly as her head was forced backwards and she felt the blissful relief of Hunter’s fangs in her neck. She sighed softly, her eyes closing and her muscles relaxing and his venom spread through her like wildfire. She barely noticed when he pushed her forward into the oncoming wave of vampires, their sharp fangs piercing her flesh in a delightful pain as wave after wave of sweet, sweet heaven washed over her. Dora collapsed under the weight of their bodies, swallowed by the sheer number of them, the room going dark until there was nothing left.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
She was still swinging at Everwhore as muscular arms wrapped around her waist and tore her from the fight. “See this?” she shouted at Echo angrily, not recognizing the speed at which she had managed to get to the other side of the pool. “This is my trophy for drowning a fat bitch!” she screamed, holding a chunk of Echo’s ratty blonde hair aloft, the hunky mystery man urging her to calm down. “Look what she did!” Dora moaned, now more than just her hair having gotten wet and full heartedly believing it was all Echo’s fault. How was she supposed to have fun at Leo’s party when she was soaked?

Hunter laughed at her confusion, and she felt hurt, even more so as his generally complimentary words turned harsh. He let go of her wrist and she recoiled it, holding her opposite hand over the puncture wounds where her blood was still trickling slowly. He forced the glass of blood on her and Dora pressed her lips together tight as best she could, turning her head away as the blood dripped onto the bare skin of her chest. “Stop!” she cried, heart racing in her chest. Hunter was being needlessly cruel to her and she had no idea why. What had she done? She’d only ever done exactly what he had asked of her and yet again she was being thrown aside for what? Something better? A more respectable witch? Tears filling her eyes, Dora turned to leave but stopped as she saw that everyone – every vampire in the club was looking at her. She took an uneasy step backwards into the safety of Hunter’s frame.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
Dora wasn’t sure exactly where they were, but the way the other pub patrons’ eyes followed her made her feel excited, if not a little uneasy. Hunter guided her through the maze of tables toward the bar as Dora looked around, feet moving wherever her leader ushered them though her gaze was fixed on a woman in the corner, waving at her and smiling an extra toothy grin. No, not toothy. Fangy. A shiver of excitement ran through Dora’s chest as Hunter pulled her between his legs and pulled out her wrist in the middle of the room. Her suspicions having been confirmed, Dora looked back at her date adoringly as he sank his fangs into her flesh. Dora closed her eyes, ready to appreciate the gift Hunter was giving her but a chill over her wrist forced her eyes open and she watched as Hunter turned her wrist so that the blood fell into the glass instead of his superb mouth. Her perfectly sculpted brow furrowed in confusion. “What are you..? What about me?” she clarified her concern and confusion. Hunter could do whatever he liked with her so long as she got her rocks off too. That was the deal they had made, though not in so many words. It was just a given. An unspoken agreement with her handsome vampire.

"Die bitch!” Dora screamed, though it came out gurgled as she was still underwater. Dora’s thin legs flailed beneath her, kicking Echo in the thigh just as Echo punched her hard in the boob. Dora retracted in pain, taking a clump of blonde hair with her as she broke the surface of the water, still screaming. “Fucking skank!” she shrieked, jumping onto Echo’s head and attempting to dunk her back under the water. Dora was perfectly capable of drowning the blonde skank, had hands not come between them to pull them apart.

He asked her to trust him and she did. Dora nodded as Hunter turned her around and ushered her into the mausoleum, the door closing behind them and shutting out the moonlight. Dora wet her lips with her tongue, heart beginning to beat faster as she took the stairs slowly in the seductive lamplight. She ran her hand along the wall to keep her balance as her eyes worked to adjust to the dim lighting. The stone wall was cool to the touch, and rough. Following the staircase downward, the sound of chatter and laughter were becoming more clear. And was there music playing? Dora stepped off the final step and looked down the corridor ahead of them, closed doors leading Merlin only knew where, and just beyond she could see the hall widening to what looked like a pub. Dora turned to look at Hunter and smiled, then began toward the open space where she suspected Hunter was going to buy her a drink and treat her to an evening that would put to shame the lame night she might have had with her so-called girlfriends.

Hands in the air and hips pressed against Leo’s, Dora was happy enough to dance to the strange song she’d never heard of, wondering if the witch singing it had made it up or if Dora herself was just out of the loop with modern music. Or maybe it was a muggle song... Dora turned and shook her ass against Leo for a bit before turning back to face that magnificent smile. He reached for her thigh and pulled her up against him as he dipped her, lingering there with his perfect mouth just inches from hers. “That’s a little presumptuous of you,” she smirked, “but I like your confidence.” Her lips closed the gap between them easily enough, arms wrapping around his neck and pressed herself into him.

“If you tried eating less...” she shrieked back but didn’t finish her insult. Instead, the wave of water from Echo’s more purposeful splash hit Dora in the face and there was no holding back. Like an enraged dolphin, Dora nose dived into the pool, arms outstretched in Echo’s direction. She closed her fist around the blonde’s hair dragged her under the water with her, bubbles floating to the surface as Dora screamed obscenities under the water.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
He didn’t answer straight away but grabbed her hand and pulled her down the stone steps and across the street. She followed as best she could, tripping over nothing but her own feet as she looked at him instead of the street they were crossing. Her high heels were no match for Hunter’s quick strides. Had he pulled her out in front of an oncoming vehicle, Dora wouldn’t have noticed. She was too enthralled with the vampire tugging her along and now inviting her to accompany him on his evening out. A date! Dora grinned but before she could say anything else she was pulled against him and suddenly everything was being squished and spun around them, the empty city street quickly becoming a dark and eerie graveyard.
For the first time in six months, Dora felt a little uneasy in Hunter’s presence but knew it was more their surroundings than the vampire himself. Dora didn’t fancy spending much time in graveyards, having been surrounded by more than enough death in her lifetime. Thankfully she didn’t need to visit them often, as her father and brother had both been cremated, and her grandmother had managed to procure some of each of their ashes for Dora, despite her heartless mum’s attempts to keep the Parkinson men all to herself. Hunter dragged her through the darkness, weaving between headstones until they reached a mausoleum which opened at his touch. He beckoned her inside. “Isn’t there someplace a little nicer we could celebrate our anniversary?” she asked shakily, pressing herself up against the vampire’s cool, chiseled frame. It was exactly six months ago to the day that Dora had danced for Hunter on the table of the Charmed Nightclub and had her first taste of his intoxicating powers.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
Dora gazed lovingly at Hunter as he looked over her cryptic directions to his home, and was unfazed when he crumpled it up into a little ball and threw it behind him. She didn’t worry about what she would do the next time she needed him because all that mattered was her need for him now. There was no tomorrow with his bite tonight, she couldn’t fathom even planning that far ahead. Nothing mattered except right here and right now. Hunter’s hand dropped from her throat and Dora breathed in deeply, not having noticed that her air had been even remotely restricted. It didn’t matter. “Where are we going?” she asked he ushered her outside, more conversationally than quizzically. She would go anywhere with him if it meant she’d get a little taste of him. She nearly tripped over her own high heels as she was pushed out onto the front steps of the stone church, the wonky streetlamp across the road flickering sporadically.

People were talking around her...to her? - but Dora was only focused on the witch who had splashed her and her good friend Ollie, which the stupid blonde cow was fawning over. “Maybe if your fat arse wasn’t so big!” Dora snapped back, bending down to reach the water and splashing it in Echo’s, and consequently Ollie’s, direction.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
Jasper’s date was called Geralina. Dora nodded as Leo filled her in quietly, making a mental note to ask later about how serious the pair were, and whether Jaspy was good in bed. Alice hadn’t said anything about Jasper dating anyone, and after his wife’s death he really did deserve someone nice. Thus far, Jasper had refused to allow Dora to set him up with anyone, as if being set up by your younger sister’s friend was a strange request. Another handsome bloke came up and introduced himself, and Dora smiled, about to ask if Everett was a healer at Hogwarts. Having spent her fair share of time in the Hogwarts Hospital wing between being in a coma for a fortnight after being inadvertently injured in a Death Eater attack and managing her “melancholy” after her father’s death, Dora was fairly certain she would remember all of the hospital wing staff, but she wasn’t given the opportunity to confirm her suspicions as an even more boisterous witch made an appearance. The sassy witch introduced herself and Dora replied in turn. “Dora Parkinson.”
The group moved inside and Dora happily hung on Leo’s arm, adding a little extra wiggle in her step just to make sure Miss Tersha Knight knew that Leo was off limits tonight. It was impossible to miss the look she’d given him outside, but Leo had invited Dora this evening and as far as Dora could tell, Tersha was even more of a tagalong than Dora. Green eyes widened as she stepped into a rustic wonderland, with twinkly lights trimming the walls and people already grooving on the dance floor. “Dance with me,” Dora demanded sweetly, turning to look at Leo as she pulled him onto the dance floor without regard for where the rest of their little group wanted to go.

She was a little bit ruined a beautiful disaster but she was magic
A party in a barn did not sound like Dora’s sort of venue but as she hadn’t been out in nearly a month, and the person extending the invite happened to be an extremely sexy healer, Dora agreed to go. She felt bad that she had apparently made a not-so-attractive scene at Leo’s barbecue, which she only hazily remembered after multiple retellings from her friends’ various vantage points. She’d not been exactly in her right mind that day, and didn’t even remember seeing Leo there, though she hadn’t mentioned that to him for fear of offending him. Her omission seemed to have been the smart choice, as she’d been invited out to Leo’s friend’s party. This would be her first big outing since what she liked to refer to as her “episode” and she was determined to remember this one...or at least the first half. It was a party after all, though she’d been advised to go easy since her episode and she was trying to be good, if only for Pansy’s sake.
Leo had picked her up at her home and she’d made him wait a few extra minutes while she changed her outfit for the third time (what did you even wear to a party in a barn?!), then snuggled up close to him as they apparated to his friend’s party. It wasn’t even a barn, Dora thought to herself as they strolled up the path to find a tiny little, lopsided shed in the middle of a field. Had there not been a big sign indicating they were in the right place; Dora might have insisted they continue looking. It was unmistakably the right place however, so Dora sat on the bench outside and waited for more of Leo’s friends to arrive. It was good fortune that Leo happened to be good friends with Jasper, her longtime friend’s older brother, but even if she hadn’t known anyone else at the party Dora was sure to figure out how to have a good time. Even in a shack in the wood.
Dora beamed confidently at her date as he complimented her. “I hope I’m not overdressed,” she replied, though she honestly wouldn’t have cared if she was. Dora loved fashion and any excuse to get dolled up was to be taken full advantage of. Jasper and his date arrived and the pair stopped to greet them, followed by a handsome older man who put the charm on thick. It was totally working for him. Please with the amount of attention she was already receiving, and having seen several other guests slip past them while they had gathered outside, Dora looked at their little group and asked, “shall we?”
