Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Sully settled himself in a chair beside the pool while Leo and Liam got to dishing out burgers. He was tempted to go and find Kiki with those drinks, but he'd only end up wandering around the place looking like he didn't belong, and that would just make him feel shit. He didn't really know anyone here, so staying by the host was his best bet for now, until more guests arrived, anyway. The sun shone down on his face, reminding him of home. Back in Hawaii, Sully would spend hours on the beach, swimming in the sea with the kids, laying in the sand, building huts for Shay and Naia to hide in. He'd rather be there than anywhere else, but he'd settle for a chilled afternoon with good people. "I'll take a burger," he called. _______________________ tag: Leonardo Valerio Zabini , Liam Tedric Underwood and everyone! words: 175 notes: <3 outfit: Heart = Stopped. template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore A barbeque at a Healer's house. What could go wrong? Sully liked private gatherings like this one, he got less hassle and he could relax and have fun without fear of seeing his picture in the newspapers the next morning. He had been promised a pool, cool people, alcohol, and great food, and that was all he needed to sign up for Kiki's little party day. Nala was minding Shay and Naia for the day, and he had nothing to worry about other than the grumblings of his eldest sister, who was adamant that he should have covered up more. Sully thought he was covered up too much for a pool party type thing but he said nothing about it as they headed out. The Healer's place was nice, the guy definitely looked after the place. Kiki ditched him immediately to get drinks, and Sully followed his nose to the scent of the barbeque, which was outside by a gorgeous pool. There were only a few other people there so far, all of them strangers to Sully. He approached the small group confidently. "Hey, you must be Leo," he said, reaching out a hand for the Healer to shake. "I'm Sully, Kiki's brother." He nodded to the redhead and the blonde guy next to her. "Hi. Hey. Sully."_______________________ tag: Keala Luana Sullivan , Leonardo Valerio Zabini , Chloe Renee Underwood , Liam Tedric Underwood and everyone! words: 262 notes: <3 outfit: Heart = Stopped. template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Her bra was off. This was going great. This was what was supposed to be happening. Sully was so out of practice, he'd almost forgotten what boobs felt like. Damn, they felt good. It was definitely time for him to stop rejecting women and get back in the game. Merlin, Brie was hot. His hands roamed her body freely, and he kept kissing her even when the dizziness set in. He couldn't seem to get enough oxygen in between kisses, but he carried on stubbornly. Until the room turned black and began spinning out of control. Sully took a step back. "I just need a little..." He hit the floor like a falling tree, landing in an unconscious heap on the tatty old rug in the middle of the room. His snores could probably be heard all the way downstairs. _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 175 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Brie took the key from him and opened the door himself, which was probably best because he had been about to snap it, wedging it into the key hole the wrong way. They were inside the room and she was taking her pants off already. 'Alright!' Sully was impressed. With himself, with her. Those legs! He pulled his top off over his head, dropping it on the floor and stomping on it in his boots as he tried to undo his belt. It wasn't going well with drunken fingers, but he soon had it loose and his pants and boots were kicked off across the floor in a heap. Sully scooped Brie up in his arms, kissing her again as he navigated the dark room. He thought they were about to reach the bed, but her back hit the wardrobe instead, and rather than stop, Sully just shuffled to the side a few steps and sat her on top of the chest of drawers. They were just about tall enough. _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 205 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore She climbed onto his freaking knee. 'Hell, yeahhhhh!' He was very drunk. This was not like him, but Brie was an absolute sex goddess, and he was in desperate need of a good orgasm that wasn't at his own hand. "Mmmm." He pulled her tighter into him, not wanting to move just yet. He had her in the perfect position, if there were other people around he'd have stayed right there and let her ride him all night. He was kissing her again, his hands roaming freely until he felt like his pants might burst. Time to move. Scooping her up in one arm, he picked up his drink in the other and carried her over to the bar. "Roz, gimme a key!" he hollered, downing the last of his beer and slamming the glass down on the bar. He felt something jingly drop into his palm and turned to head upstairs, kissing Brie again to the point where he neglected to check the room number on the key. He paused in the first floor hallway. "Wait, wait, wait." Sully slammed her up against a wall and held the key up in front of his face, letting out a roar of laughter. Sixty-nine. Fucking Roz. He wiggled his eyebrows at Brie in a seductive way - it might not have been seductive, he was pretty pissed - and led her up another crooked flight of stairs, pausing to kiss her along the way. A rusted number sixty nine hung on a door at the far end of the hall, and he pressed her up against it, fumbling with the key and wishing the door would just open without it. He couldn't fucking get it the right way. Merlin's balls! _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 322 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore An hour later - was it an hour? Maybe two? - Sully had lost count of how many drinks they'd gotten through, but they'd moved to a more private table, and he had his arm slung around Brie's shoulder. He was officially drunk as a skunk, though not enough to lose consciousness or the ability to control himself. He had lost the ability to control his pants, though, and they were excited as he got a little closer to the hot librarian. Brie. Her name was Brie. Or was it? Maybe he was thinking of the cheese. Damnit. He really wanted to kiss her. "I'm gonna kiss you," he told her, giving her no time to argue. His hand was in her hair, pulling her in for what was a pretty great snog, and his pants enjoyed that, too. And now his tongue was in her mouth. Hell, yeah. More beer! No. A room! "How about we head upstairs?" he murmured against her lips. She had good lips. _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 201 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Brie Chase. Brie Chase. Nope. The name might as well have been brand new to him for all he recognised it. How could he make himself remember it this time? Brie. That was cheese. Come to think about it cheese sounded a lot like Chase. Brie Cheese? Brie Cheese. That could work. A little voice, buried somewhere beneath layers of alcohol, advised him not to say that out loud. He couldn't anyway, he was eating more pizza, but in his head there was a repetitive drum of 'Brie Cheese, Brie Cheese, Brie Cheese.' If he remembered anything in the morning, it would be cheese. "I usually get arms, but I'll take arse," he admitted, enjoying the compliment but not really looking for any at the same time. She wondered what a lot of people wondered when they found him in normal places: what the hell was he doing there? Being a normal person, obviously. Just because he had made a name for himself in the Quidditch world didn't mean he was suddenly a snob who would only frequent high class joints that served fancy drinks at extortionate prices. Sully hated those places. He still wanted to hang with his mates in his favourite pub and do his own shopping and whatever other mundane things he had to do. "Looking for sexy librarians to flirt with," he answered, bolder with the beer inside him. Sully hadn't actually been with a woman since his wife. He'd had a mental block for a long time, and then he'd just been overly fussy or busy since he'd opened up to the idea again. The only way he was ever going to hook up with a woman was while he was drunk, he'd accepted that fact, but he wasn't betting on getting lucky with Brie Cheese tonight. _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 337 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Sully chewed his pizza in deep thought as he stared at the woman. He put her in the hospital wing? So that meant she was at Hogwarts with him, but he could not place her face with a name at all. He didn't remember someone that hot walking the halls at the same time as him, unless she'd been a lot younger and just a kid. Either way he didn't think an apology would harm all these years later. "I was competitive as fuck at school, still am, but I am very sorry if I hurt you." He gave her a smile, a twinkle in his eyes. "How can I make it up to you?" Eating all of her pizza wouldn't make shit up to her, but he took another slice anyway, noting her glass was looking a little bit low. "Can we get refills over here!" he called to whichever bar staff might hear. He gulped down a good half of his own beer so that it could be topped up along with the wine his attractive company was drinking. "Let's start with a name, I'm terrible with names but I will try to remember it, I swear." He would forget her name by morning, but his intentions were true. _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 246 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Of course she recognised him. Everybody recognised him. It was hard for Sully to go anywhere these days without getting a few people come up to him asking for an autograph, or just plain creepy watching him as he did his grocery shopping, like he was some muggle television show that they could gawk at. He got approached in the toilets, he got approached when he was out for dinner with friends, and he got approached at the park with his kids, which really annoyed him because he wanted Shay and Naia to stay out of the limelight. They didn't need to be witnessing fans fawning over their dad like he was some sort of rock star. He was just dad to them, and he liked it that way. They were his safe place, the people he could go home to and just be normal with. They didn't expect anything from him other than to cook them food and clean their sick, and it was perfect. In the morning he would be cleaning his own sick, but for now he needed to drink more and admire this woman's pizza, as well as her body. He frowned a little as he looked at her, sure her face looked familiar. "I know you," he said, dragging a chair out to sit. It scraped loudly across the wooden floor, but Sully paid it no mind and dropped down in it, the legs threatening to give way under the sheer bulk of him. He chuckled as he looked at the pizza, trying to decide which slice looked the tastiest. He selected the piece with the most cheese and picked it up, taking a huge bite. Wow. It was better than he remembered. Merlin's balls, it was delicious! It was so good, he half wondered if they would take on a retired Quidditch star at the castle. That would be a cushy fallback job. He could teach flying, or clean the fucking grounds if it meant he could eat like a king. It would be wise to think on it once he was sober, but for now it seemed like an amazing idea. _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 393 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Christmas had been pretty incredible. Sully's parents had travelled over from Hawaii this year, and the kids had been so excited to see them. Family had been the theme more so than ever, and between Sully's parents and siblings, and Faith's family, the house had been bursting. Luckily he had a house big enough to hold everyone. He could thank his sparkling Quidditch career for that. He didn't know what he would do if he hadn't made it big, his career goals had been very singular when he was younger, he hadn't had a single fallback option. After such a long career, he didn't need to worry about money any more, that was a nice feeling. He knew his days on the pitch were numbered, but there was life in the old dog yet. He did need a night off every now and then, though. Like tonight, for example, when his parents had offered to have Naia and Shaye while he went out with friends. They got bonding time with grandchildren they didn't get to see much of, and he got a night of drinking and debauchery. Minus the debauchery. He was only half drunk, though he'd drank more than his mates had and most of them were on their way home with jelly legs and no memory of real words. Sully could take a lot. That seemed to be a running theme in his life. He could take a lot of everything, not just alcohol, and nobody seemed to remember that he was only human sometimes. He liked a lot of the good stuff, but he wouldn't mind a bit less of the bad. He hadn't had too much bad luck since Faith had died, though he had struggled to get back in the saddle when it came to women. He was ready. He was more than ready, he just needed a bit of a push to get him back in the game. He was on his way back from the bar in The Three Broomsticks, beer in hand, when he caught the scent of something that he couldn't ignore. He stopped at a table where a hottie sat with a glass of wine and pizza. "Is that-?" Sully leaned over, staring at the pizza in awe. "Is that Hogwarts pizza?" Holy shit, it was. There was no mistaking it. Nobody made food like the house elves at Hogwarts. Nobody. Oh, he missed it something wicked, and he had never, in all his worldly travels, found anything quite like the pizza he had indulged in all through his teens. _______________________ tag: Cambria Josephine Chase words: 465 notes: <3 outfit: What were you saying? template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore "Same, same," Sully nodded. "We went to my Uncle, I think he'll need a week or two to recover from the chaos." He chuckled at the thought of his Uncle being frazzled by the little ones running around, but to Sully it had been a joyous sight. Shay and Naia only had each other, really, but Sully's cousins had kids of their own and it was good to see the kids all playing together, even if it did make a ruckus and set his Uncle's nerves on edge. They had all been hyped up on chocolate, which hadn't helped, but Sully had played with the kids more than the adults, and he would tell anyone that he had a great Easter for that reason. Any time he could spent with family was time well spent, as far as he was concerned. He just wished he could get out to Hawaii more often to see his parents and his mother's family. He missed the sun and the sea, and the smells of home, even though it hadn't technically been his home since he was eleven years old. His roots would never stop calling to him. "Dada, push me, push me!" Naia called, swinging her legs as hard as she could to try and make herself go higher, though it wasn't working as well as she'd like it to. Sully chuckled, glancing at Eris' daughter. "Not right now, Naia, you'll scare the little one," he said, pointing to remind Naia that there was a toddler swinging beside her that would likely get very freaked out if she saw how high fearless Naia liked to go on the swings. Sully would always push her as high as she was comfortable with, knowing that he would catch her if she fell. He trusted himself enough for that, but sometimes he got funny looks if there were other people in the playground at the same time. "She likes to go so high she nearly loops right over the top," he explained to Eris. Shay climbed down from the climbing frame and ran up behind his sister. "I'll push you," he told Naia, giving her a mighty shove. She hardly moved higher than she'd already been swinging, and Sully laughed. Shay was not built like the son of a mountain, he was a skinny little thing, but he grunted with each push, teeth bared. Naia seemed pleased, so Sully left them to it. _______________________ tag: Eris Vivian Johnson words: 443 notes: <3 outfit: Lazy day at the park template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

Dark shines, bringing me down making my heart feel sore Sully lifted Naia down off of his shoulders as they neared the park tucked away at the end of Diagon Alley. "Dada, can I run?" she asked, watching as Shay sprinted ahead, confident in his surroundings. Sully watched Shay head for the climbing frame and nodded to little Naia. "Be careful," he warned. "Watch out for babies!" But Naia as already sprinting after her big brother. He knew she'd head for the swings, but they were already in the park now, she couldn't get lost. It felt weird loosening the strings with Naia. She was three, and when Shay had been three, he'd still had a mum, and Sully had had a partner in crime to help him figure out how to let his kid grow up without worrying too much. Naia, he had raised alone, and he wasn't sure if it was because she was a girl or just because she was the baby of their little group, but he struggled to give her more freedom. She couldn't go wrong just running across a park, nothing bad could happen to her, but still, he watched her like a hawk as she stopped by the swings. Sully caught up at his own pace. Shay was already at the top of the climbing frame, and Naia had settled herself in the swing right beside a woman pushing her toddler. Sully recognised her before he was near enough to say hello. Eris Johnson, Puddlemere Chaser. He'd attempted to knock her head off with a Bludger more than a few times over the years, but his smile was bright as he approached. "Johnson," he greeted happily, pausing beside the swings, Naia's pink unicorn backpack slung over his shoulder as he leaned one large hand on the metal frame. "Did you have a good Easter? Easter Sunday had been just two days ago, and Sully had some time off for the holiday, something he was making the most of with his kids. They'd spent Sunday with family, and he'd eaten far too much chocolate. Enough for him to feel gross and like he needed to work out for a month to get rid of the damage it had done. He'd had the kids out for a bike ride yesterday to try and fit in some exercise, and today was ice cream and the park. They'd finished their ice cream not long ago, and his overprotective brain made him question for the hundredth time whether they'd waited long enough for their tummy's to settle before going nuts in the park. They had, but he glanced up at Shay again anyway. _______________________ tag: Eris Vivian Johnson words: 471 notes: <3 outfit: Lazy day at the park template by izzy[googlefont="Loved by the King"][googlefont="Cinzel Decorative"]

palm, dragon heartstring, 13 1/2 inches |
PERSONALITY Boggart: His children growing up and telling him that he wasn't enough for them. They would tell him that they would rather he had died instead of their mother, and in that moment, he would wish it, too. Mirror of Erised: His wife alive again, being mother to their two children. Patronus: Gorilla - Sully's happiest memory used to be his wedding day, then it switched to the births of his children, but since his wife died, those memories have become tainted, and he can no longer produce a Patronus without a new memory to fuel it.
Sully is strong. Stronger than anyone on the planet, or so he likes people to think. He comes across as a tough guy, sometimes intimidating, and even a little bit scary, but honestly, that just tends to be based off of his physical appearance. If you look past the bear-like muscles and the wild hair, you will actually find someone with a huge heart, and a generous spirit. Sully can be self-protective, and protective of those he loves to the point of losing his temper and getting into fights. He is hot headed and will attack first, ask questions later. He knows how to hold a mean grudge, and doesn't forget slights easily.
That being said, in his regular life, he doesn't actually have people pissing him off day in and day out, so he's usually alright. He is very loving and warm, and a highly tactile and affectionate person. He always seems to have his arm around someone, or be hugging someone, or sitting close on the sofa. It's not a conscious effort, he's just very warm and friendly by nature. He's a solid friend, and blindly loyal to his people. Family is the most important thing in the world to him, and that includes close friends, too. He is loyal, and will fight your corner, and is definitely someone you can trust to always be there. He would drop everything to help a friend out.
Being a Professional Quidditch player and former Gryffindor, Sully is very competitive. He's a Beater, and sometimes doesn't know his own strength, but he actually doesn't take any kind of pleasure in hurting others. He's no animal - unless you hurt him or his loved ones, then look out - but he loves Quidditch so much, and absolutely excels as a Beater. Granted, he goes through brooms like there's no tomorrow due to his sheer size, but honestly, he sees it as worth it. What's a few broken brooms as price for living the dream. He is highly enthusiastic about the things he loves, and his kids are his number one. He is capable of being such a big kid around them, and an absolute gentle giant who encourages them in everything they do.
HISTORY Mother: Haunani Akela, 60, pureblood, Ilvermorny Alumna Father: Zachariah Sullivan, 62, muggleborn, Gryffindor Alumni Siblings: Keala Luana Sullivan , 35, sister, halfblood, Hufflepuff Alumna Nalani Lilinoe Sullivan , 27, sister, halfblood, Hufflepuff Alumna Partners: Faith Perkins, deceased aged 28, halfblood, Ravenclaw Alumna Others: Shay Kaili Sullivan, son, 8 years old Naia Lokelani Sullivan, daughter, 4 years old
Born to a British father and a Hawaiian mother, Kalino Akela Sullivan was the middle child of the family, and grew up in Hawaii with his parents and two sisters, one older, one younger. He had a happy childhood, living a stones throw from the beach, and spending his days in the sun, learning how to surf and flying his broom over the sand in the magical community they lived in. Sully's mother and her family had lived in the magical village for generations, and he felt connected to his magic from an early age, encouraged to nurture it and help it grow by practising helping flowers to bloom with his grandmother. He never managed it, but the intent was there. Sully was always more into sports than flowers, and had a knack for anything that allowed him to run around and burn off steam. Just like his older sister before him, when he came of age, he knew he would have a choice. He had acceptance letters from both Ilvermorny and Hogwarts, and his parents told him it was entirely up to him which one he wanted to attend. His father was British, and they had family in England and Scotland that they often visited, but Sully had always wondered what it would be like to live there with his father's family, and so he chose Hogwarts. He was placed in Gryffindor house, like his father, which filled him with pride, and he threw himself into his schooling without ever doubting his choice. Both his sisters chose Hogwarts, too, and so the whole Sullivan clan ended up at the castle over time. Sully joined the Quidditch team as Beater in his second year, and as he grew stronger and taller, his professors often worried that he might not be suitable for the position and was liable to seriously injure other players. Alas, that was the name of the game, and Sully's father fought tooth and nail for his son to be able to stay on the team. He had friends, he dated girls, but without Quidditch, he would have been miserable at school. He was kept on the team, and decided that it was what he wanted to do when he left school. Though he did well enough in his studies, Sully had a one track mind, and it led him straight to the Kenmare Kestrels, where he played his first two years as a Professional Quidditch player. He switched teams two more times before settling with the Falmouth Falcons, which has been his team for the past two years. He's happy there, and likes his teammates much better than he ever did in the past. His personal life did not go so smoothly, though. A few years after graduation, he met the most beautiful girl by the name of Faith. She was funny, and strong, and not afraid to put him in his place, where everyone else saw his size and cowed down to him. He loved her fire and her heart, and within a year they were married. He was twenty three at the time, and she was twenty one. She fell pregnant straight away, and their first child, a son who they named Shay, was born in the summer. Being a parent was a whole different challenge for Sully, but one he took to like a duck to water. He was an amazing dad, and when Shay was four, Faith gave birth to a second child, a beautiful little girl, Naia. Life was perfect. They had a house together by the sea, which reminded Sully of his home in Hawaii, and his career was going from strength to strength. When Naia was six months old, Faith fell ill with dragon pox. It wasn't that bad. She'd have a stay in St. Mungo's and then recover and be fine. That was how it should have gone, but it wasn't that simple. She'd only given birth months ago, her body wasn't at its strongest and couldn't fight off the disease, and so at the tender age of twenty eight, Faith passed away in her hospital bed, leaving Sully alone to raise their two children. He was devastated, and took a year off from Quidditch to focus on his kids. His entire life shattered, and Sully had no idea how he was going to get through it. His parents were across the world, and his sisters had lives of their own. It took him a long time to pull himself together and start to get their lives back on track. Naia was only a baby, and doesn't remember her mother, but Shay remembers. He asks questions all of the time, and Sully tries his best to answer every single one as honestly and beautifully as he can. He's settled in his job now, the Falcons taking the broken man in, and he is still, after three years, trying to get over the loss of his wife. He hasn't yet plucked up the courage to start dating again, and often thinks he'll be a lonely old man one day, but as long as his kids are happy, he honestly doesn't care.
