It was fun and interesting how someone could make you smile that little bit brighter. Killian was one of those people that no matter what mood you were in, he could make you smile a little bigger. That was if you liked him. The guy wasn't everybody's cup of tea but he was exceedingly charismatic whether it be with his words, his gestures or even the slightest of glances. At least Jazzy thought that way about him and she would be certain to never let him know that she thought he was a pretty decent bloke because he really did have a bit of a giant head on his shoulders already. He didn't need people telling him what he already knew because his ego didn't need any stroking, it was plenty big enough. Jazzy knew that came with the quidditch territory though. Most people that played for the house teams were pretty arrogant one way or another, herself included, she wasn't afraid to admit that about herself, although Jazzy was fairly certain she'd be a bit of an arrogant shit head even if she didn't play Quidditch. She was an exceedingly confident person. When she knew what she wanted, she would go for it no matter what.
He called her 'Jasmine', not something a lot of people did but she didn't mind it so much coming from him. She was used to Jazzy but every now and then it was nice to hear a cute guy use her actual name, heck, she wasn't even sure how many people actually knew that she was a Jasmine and not just a Jazzy. Her smirk had long since changed to a smile, "As amazing as your arse most certainly is, I stalked it up the stairs because I have my own letters to send." His arse was quite adorable but it wasn't stalk-worthy, though it was pretty nice the way it went up steps. She walked to be within reaching distance, "You have to know how to charm them." She told him as she reached into her pocket, "Not unlike a beautiful woman." She pulled out an owl treats, "Treats are always the answer." She had two letters to send but they were both headed home so she could use just the one owl. She turned about so Killian could get a good look of her rear and she held up treat before placing it on one of the perches, a tawny owl catching sight of it and flying down, landing on the perch and gobbling up the treat.

[attr="class","recbox"] [attr="class","recinfo"] Azalea “Zae” Moon bitch pureblood 17 slytherin [attr="class","recscroll"]With twins running through both sides of the family it was inevitable that the Moons would have twins! Blood traitors, hard upbringing but happy, Azalea and Jasmine (Zae and Jazzy) were close. Not identical but a few similarities here and there. Both have flower names that are shortened into nicknames and both have a fruity middle name - Berry is a suggestion to go with Jazzy's Cherry - but the middle name is up to whoever plays her.
Zae is a Slytherin and, in my mind, a bit of a cow! She's very smart though, smarter than Jazzy, but she's not obvious about it, she's cunning and reserved but everything is about getting her own way. That's not to say she isn't nice. I see her being very loyal to those she loves and believes deserves her loyalty. She's good deep down, although very deep down.
They have a long lost brother that they do know about, but that want ad will come at a later date ... when I can find a face claim! xD
Face is open, like please, go ahead and pick someone else if you'd like, the only restriction is someone blonde and a small similarity to Jazzy! This is Ashley Benson! <3

Pfft. Romance. Who even needed romance? Plans to go to Hogsmeade with a couple of gal pals for a girly sort of day instead of the whole Valentine's spiel but it fell through when over half their numbers arranged with their boyfriends to go on late Valentine dates or got asked out for the one day of the month they were allowed out of the school. Adding to that Clara got herself detention and Melody decided she just had to do homework leaving Jazzy with two options - work on her homework or go alone. Jazzy picked the latter. She went to Hogsmeade alone but it was more of the same. It was eyerollingly annoying. Figuring she had nothing to lose Jazzy grabbed herself just a small bag of sweets and made her way to the edge of the village, beyond the shops and homes and disapparated. She landed at a familiar spot. She'd apparated to Diagon Alley plenty when she'd gotten her licence. Leaving the apparation point she took to the alley, relieved to be around a whole new set of shops. Everything was pushing the Valentine's agenda although at over half price considering the day was two days passed, and Jazzy really wasn't buying into any of it right now. She was anti-love but she didn't believe in the commercialisation of the whole thing. Surely there were 364 other days of the year to show someone you loved them, why did everyone have to show their desires and get horny all on the same day?
Shoving her sweets into her magically enhanced handbag Jazzy looked about. She perused the stalls set up along the small street that held all kinds of wonders and crap. Honestly, some of it was awful. Knock off brooms, dodgy wands and the like. Some of them were better than that, some stalls actually had a good bargain going on, but Jazzy didn't much have a need for newt testicles, five ounces for two knuts, or lizard tongues, one for two knuts or three for five. Still it was good to have a change of scenery and be away from the school and the all too crowded Hogsmeade. Getting a few things for herself in a couple of the shops Jazzy made one more last stop before she decided she should probably head back to Hogsmeade so no one would know she'd been absent from the village. Pushing open the door to the small menagerie shop Jazzy had a look at the cute little animals. She cooed over a fire crab and then checked out the ravens. She was only here to grab Shadow a few treats but it was very tempting to buy herself a Raven instead of having an owl like most people, but she wasn't allowed more than one pet, it was a rule, but was it a rule that would get her expelled if found out? Jazzy wasn't sure but she was kind of tempted to risk it. But did ravens actually deliver mail like an owl? Perhaps it would be worth finding that out first before purchasing what might be a completely useless bird.

So this was the year she was going to be the best student she could possibly be. Admittedly it wasn't hard to surpass the other years but this year she was going to win the house cup and quidditch cup for Gryffindor. There was no way she could fail with her determination set so high. She'd been practising new moves on the quidditch pitch and she had a killer team lines up and some superb back up players if needed. Jazzy had to be prepared, last year they'd lost a couple of good players thanks to the dirty tactics of the Slytherin lot, but this year she was prepared to stoop to their level if needs be. Nice clean matches against Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, they were just friendly rivals really, but Slytherin? Those dragon dongs could get stuffed. She was going to use their own tactic and then some against them. They wouldn't get a look in this year. Their cheating days may not have been over but Jazzy was sure as hell going to make life difficult for them. On the pitch that was. And potentially in the corridors if anyone started anything. Sure, 'not all Slytherins are bad' blah, blah, blah, but there were more than enough of them that were and Jazzy wasn't going to let them get away with squat while she was about. Perhaps it was the good start to the year that she'd had, having her sort of own private little photo shoot, or perhaps she'd really just had enough of their taunts, but she was going to rule the roost this year, so to speak.
With a couple of letters in hand, Jazzy had spent the afternoon with a free period up in the Gryffindor common room. She'd actually studied which was most unlike her, but for some reason she was really feeling on top of the world. She was going well in most of her classes, extremely well in one, and not completely failing in another. It was a really good year!
Walking up the steps to the owlery, Jazzy whistled a random tune as she went. She was a in a cheery mood and she fancied doing something fun. She contemplated getting her broom and going for a fly around the quidditch pitch but the Hufflepuff's had claim to the pitch tonight so she was going to have to either do something else, fly somewhere else, or sneak back out later after curfew, which would kind of ruin that good student persona she was going for this year but hey, it wasn't like it was the end of the world, and just because she was being her best self this year did not mean that she was going to completely abandon who she was as an individual! Quite the contrary, she was going to use her self discipline to get fitter because she had to get a spot on one of the professional quidditch teams next year - it was her dream! Walking into the owlery she saw Killian trying to call down an owl. She looked about at the birds ignoring him and she couldn’t blame them. “Looks like you’re striking out. Want me to look away?” She offered in a loud sort of whisper with a bold smirk, “Protect that ego of yours and all,” Killian wasn’t that bad really, vain perhaps but he wasn’t a big head twit like a lot of the other guys she knew.

It didn't take Jazzy too long to get back to the Gryffindor tower. For a moment she hesitated at the portrait of the fat lady, momentarily wracking her brain for the password until she eventually remembered it and burst in through the hole, almost knocking over a fifth year as she did so. With a hasty apology she carried on, not wanting to waste any time at all. She didn't know how long it would take Livia to get down to the quidditch pitch, and assumed the witch would be on foot, but she supposed she really didn't have to rush quite as much as she was. She had plenty of time really but she was just so excited! It wasn't uncommon for Jazzy to be excited, though, she was easily riled up. Quidditch matches, dares, hot guy giving her a bit of attention. Okay, so the intensities and types did vary but honestly, it was hard to keep her calm really. She was such a positive being in light of all things.
Pulling out a long, rowan box from under her bed she pulled out her wand, waving it over the box. Clicks cam from the two locks on either side of the box that kept it sealed from anyone that might try and gain entry to her precious broom. Once it was unlocked, Jazzy placed her hands on the bronze clasps, opening them up and lifting the lid of the box. Her broom care kit sat at one end, in a special little space designed specifically for it, and the broom sat along the middle, placed in perfectly with not a twig out of place. The wood was shiny, reflecting the sunlight that flooded in through the window opposite the end of Jazzy's bed, the silver letters on the handle with the make and model positively gleaming. She looked after her broom and it showed. She loved quidditch and she had to be the very best, in order to achieve that she had to look after her broom, her equipment. It was all part being flawless as she flew through the air.
Grabbing her broom out of the box and then placing it on to her bed she took a glance at herself in the mirror close by. She pondered for a second and then bent to close the lid on her broom box, sliding it back away under her bed so no one would know that it was out of its box. She liked her dorm mates, they were nice girls - mostly - but there were nosey sods amongst them and Jazzy didn't much feel like sharing the limelight today, not that it would actually be an issue because they were all so painted up that it would look ridiculous to have them be a part of a magazine spread on Hogwarts. However Jazzy was taking a leaf out of their book. Her normal light coating of make up had faded and so she reapplied just a touch of gloss to her lips and eyeliner where it was needed, cleaning it up first before making sure it looked perfect but not overdone. No swishes or flicks, just a little pop for her eyes.
Grabbing her broom from her bed after putting her make up away, Jazzy calmly made her way down the stairs from her dorm and walked through the common room, feeling rather smug but not dare mentioning anything or looking at anyone that was out of her eye line, despite wanting to yell it from the top of her lungs that she was getting a photo shoot, bitches!! Well that may have been going a little too far, but that was the gist of her excitement right now. Perhaps she could suggest she do an interview with a reporter, or maybe that was taking it too far? Or possibly not. Never knew until you asked!
Leaving the common room she didn't come across anyone that she knew well enough to stop and chat with, which was great! She made her way out of the common room and walked, with a bit of haste, along the corridors. Zipping and turning the stairs took her a quicker way than she could have hoped. She got to the fourth floor and the first window big enough for her to squeeze out of (that wasn't locked) she was out of! There was nothing that could stop her from enjoying her afternoon with a photographer. She was making connections for once she graduated too. She knew she was still a whole school year away from that but it was going to fly by in no time. Soon enough it would be December and then it would be May, time for the exams, then she'd be graduated and flying for a Professional quidditch team! That was the dream anyhow.
With the wind blowing through her hair, Jazzy picked a pretty laid back pace. She didn't want to rush down to the quidditch pitch and find her hair all over the place. She hadn't thought to put any holding spells on it before she left and truthfully, she wasn't that great at them. She also lacked all the potions and products all the other girls had for their hair, but Jazzy didn't really care all too much for her appearance to that degree. She just wanted to look like herself, not some tarted up version that looked like a totally different person once her make up was removed. "Hey!" She called out to Liv once she was within shouting distance, pleased as punch to see the other witch on a broom and up in the air. That was excellent, it meant they could get more height and, if Livia was willing, maybe a few shots away from the pitch and flying around the castle. Would they get in trouble for that? Unlikely. She found she got away with quite a bit as Gryffindor Quidditch Captain, just so long as it wasn't reckless and dangerous. "So how do you want me?" she grinned, running her hand through her hair as she came up alongside Liv with just a polite bit of distance between the two of them.

Jazzy was beyond pleased to hear that the photographer was pleased to have come across her. Jazzy was fairly certain it was because there were just too many people out there, dressed as clowns, looking like they really should have been performing in the circus. Oh well, Jazzy supposed it just made her look all the more appealing. Perhaps she was overdoing it just a little, but it was fun, and it wasn't as if all of these photos would end up in Pur! It was just a day in the life of a student or some nonsense, it really wasn't a big deal and that photographer probably had plenty of good, ordinary snaps of Jazzy. Though the quidditch suggestion was way too good to pass up on, and if this woman wanted to take pictures of it, then Jazzy was a willing subject for her lens! "As of today I have!" She laughed, full of excitement that she wasn't the only one that thought she could have a career in modelling. If Quidditch didn't work out then she was definitely going to have to go into modelling to make a small fortune of her own.
"Yeah, I've got a free period." She practically grinned, getting down off the ladder by way of jumping, bending her knees to absorb some of that impact. "No homework." Well not that she didn't mind blowing off to get her photo taken. She could always check with one of her smart friends or actually chat with the librarian later to get an idea of books that might help her get her polyjuice potion done. "I'll meet you at the pitch, I've got to go and get my broom from my dorm." She said with a grin. Heading off at once, Jazzy wasn't shy about her excitement. She bolted out of the library as she raced off through the library and corridors, taking stairs two at a time and forming a red blush all over her face from her running. It didn't matter. She'd cool down fast enough when she was out on her broom and she wasn't going to walk all through the castle to get to her photo shoot, as she was now calling it in her mind, she was taking the first open window out of the castle and flying down to the quidditch pitch, wind blowing through her hair and all.

Burke. That was it! Jazzy hadn't paid much attention to who would be showing up to take pictures, she hadn't ever expected to be singled out for some shots but she was glad that she had been! She was willing to do just about anything because this was actually way more exciting than she'd thought it would be! To be in front of the lens, just being her natural self was fun! She supposed the lack of paint on her face also singled her out for a good subject, after all who wanted to see girls that looked like clowns in their magazine? Jazzy didn't want to be mean, and she's never say it aloud, but some of the girls just didn't get that less really was more. Jazzy was fortunate to have a good complexion, she had a little mascara, some eyeliner and a little natural toned eye shadow and blush. There wasn't much needed to make Jazzy feel like a million galleons. Even waking up some mornings she just knew she looked amazing and did nothing more than got herself dressed for the day. She never played it up or down, she just went about her day, usually forgetting about her appearance unless is was brought up.
Jazzy was more than happy to oblige with whatever Liv asked of her! She lent back, tilting her head slightly so her hair flowed behind her. She let go of the rung she'd had hold of with one hand and gripped it harder with the other that had kept hold. She threw her free arm up in the air, along with one leg, smiling with the feel of the sun on her from through the window. Next she reached over towards a book just out of reach, her brow arched up as she kept reaching, trying to look as though it was just out of reach and like she might topple at any moment. Again she tried the pose with her leg stretching out behind her, giving her bit of extra distance before she chuckled and grabbed into the ladder once more. "Yes! Oh mystic Morgana, yeah! That will look awesome!" Jazzy was kind of wishing she had a full change of clothes available! She had plenty of options in her dorm but that was way up in the Gryffindor tower and besides, the clothes she had on now were appropriate enough.

Jazzy kept her cool, trying to appear as nonchalant as possible. Nice and casual, easy breezy. She didn't want to come off like she was trying hard to pose. She was no model but she was pretty sure she could pull off a few snaps about the library for the photographer and maybe even get a few prints for herself to keep. Hell, she was up for making this a private freaking photo shoot! Perhaps when she was home for Christmas she could set something up. She was willing to bet she'd look incredible against some snowy backdrop, her hair slightly tussled to look adorable. Damn, should she forget about quidditch and become a model? It was damn well tempting. Maybe she could do modelling as well as becoming a quidditch star, after all she could think of plenty of things to do on a broom. Definitely something to think about. Jazzy was somewhat positive she'd be an incredible model. She definitely had the looks and the body, today she was proving she had the sass and the sexy. Merlin those photos better not come out drab.
With a slight squee and a bounce, Jazzy beamed, following the photographer to the ladder. She laughed gently at the photographer's concern, not worried one bit about herself, "I'm a Chaser and Captain of my house Quidditch team. If I fall off a littler ladder then I'm not worthy of my Captaincy." She giggled a little, climbing up the ladder just a little way. "I'm Jazzy by the way." She said, losing the smile and reaching for an old leather bound book, the blue of some of the leather between three raised cords made it stand out against the browns that surrounded it and the dull colours of the other books around, she sure knew how to pick a book and she damn well wanted to get to know the photographer! If she was going to be having her pictures taken she may as well get to know the other blonde and vice versa. Jazzy figured that it might be handy to make a friend of a photographer that was in the journalism industry, and at such an excellent magazine too. Jazzy was definitely a subscriber to Pur, it was amazing, and she was hoping her pictures would be good enough for use. She only expected one but who knew, perhaps they'd give her her own spread! Yeah, she was definitely dreaming, but what a dream!

Jazzy was lost. She had no clue how to look for a book that she might need. She supposed she was better off asking that librarian to help her out but she always felt kind of weird around the woman. She was a bit strange, Jazzy thought, just a bit but also knowing she was close friends with Paris was a little strange. Jazzy hadn't had a lot to do with her cousins, didn't really know Paris at all until she was the Astronomy Professor, and even then she was just another Professor. Neither of them went out of their way to get to know the other. Jazzy had just felt a bit awkward with having her cousin as her Professor but hey, that couldn't be helped. At least she'd got over it after a few months. It was a shame Paris was dead. Perhaps they could have gotten to know one another a little better. Jazzy wasn't sure how likely that would have been but it was a possibility she supposed.
Sighing gently to herself, Jazzy was about to put the book she had in her hand away but noticed someone she'd not seen before. It was that photographer from Pur they'd been told was visiting. Crap. Everyone had been going on about it since they'd heard someone would be coming. All the girls were wearing as much clown makeup as they could slap onto their faces without it just sliding off and here she was with no makeup on and her hair down around her shoulders looking like nothing special. "Wha-?" She said, almost missing the meaning behind the photographer's words like some kind of moron. She was completely caught off guard but she scrambled her brain together quickly before she missed this opportunity. She could be in a magazine! Holy shit! "I mean sure!" She smiled brightly, shaking her hair out by tilting her head back a little then looking back to the bookshelf. She lifted the book up a little higher and turned herself just a smidge to face the camera a little better, waiting for the photographer to take the shot or give more directions. "After, I'm totally open to pretending to read the book," She suggested enthusiastically, "Or climbing a ladder to look for books." She was open to pretty much anything really! The idea of being in a magazine was exciting! Should she become a model after she was graduated? Nah! That was absurd! Or was it?

School was back and Jazzy liked being back. It was a home away from home and she did enjoy her time at Hogwarts, just like many others did. There was plenty to do around the castle upon your return but things got old - fast. So far this year though Jazzy hadn't run out of things to do. The Professors were really piling it on with the homework and Jazzy was planning the quidditch try outs for her house. She'd expected a heavier load but this was full on. If it wasn't for her free periods then even she wouldn't have managed to keep on top of her homework. Well okay she would have, but it would have been a bit of a struggle at times. There was a higher demand for you to get everything done and done perfectly in your seventh year and while Jazzy felt she was absolutely smashing it, she did at times feel as though she hadn't quite accomplished her best, but at least it was good enough to pass with a decent grade. She hoped that things would calm a little but she knew that wasn't really going to happen so she hoped for the next best thing; that she'd get used to it fast.
Jazzy didn't really know her way around the library all that well. This was her seventh year of school and she could honestly say that she hadn't spent all that much time in the place. She'd come in every so often when she needed to do a little extra research on a subject but on the whole her text books provided her with the majority of what she needed and if she required a bit extra then there was always some nerd she could get all cosy with for a bit. Guys loved attention from girls like her and she loved answer to tough questions. It was a win-win. Today however she had a month long project to work on. She was brewing a polyjuice potion for potions and she wanted to nail it. Her text book had what she needed to make the potion accurately but Jazzy wanted to get involved on the theory of it all because she had a massive bloody essay to write to go along with it. She was pretty much blowing off a month of potions lessons to get this done and get a damn good grade for it. She was certainly ambitious but if she could pull this off she'd look like a mother freaking genius and it'd be well worth the pay off. There was no way she could go screwing this up so today she was in the library, browsing the shelves, looking for a book or two to practically do her work for her.

Jasmine Cherry Moon and Echo Arista EverwoodA year apart and they would have gotten on like a house on fire!! Quidditch rivals to the extreme and Echo’s seen Jazzy’s competitive side 1000%!! But all that stays on the pitch. Outbursts that Jazzy’s temper can let loose don’t follow her off the pitch unless some snarky Slytherin tit pushes her so after the locker room, all freshened up and licking her wounds, she’s better behaved and all “I’ll get you next time, Everwood.” and of course on the pitch, she’s a terrible winner “How’d you like my balls in your face, NeverwoodwinagainstMoo- y’know what, that’s way to long. SUCK IT! Wooo!!” and then once the hype’s worn off she’s strutting through the castle, spots Echo, throws her arm cheerily around Echo’s shoulders and asked “What’s or lunch?” Jazzy misses her old Quidditch rival but has plans to meet her on the professional fields some day soon! Jasmine Cherry Moon and Jonathan James TownsendHubba, hubba! Those eyes caught Jazzy’s attention in her first year and she had a major crush on him for two years straight. He was three years ahead of her so no real interactions but if she sees him around now she’s a little older and he’s graduated - she’ll be hitting on him! Jasmine Cherry Moon and Geralina Amara DrakeSo Geralina would have known before starting at Hogwarts that Jazzy was Paris’ cousin. Jazzy was at Paris’ funeral and didn’t mind her. She seemed like a fun teacher but didn’t really get to know her much. Jazzy’s not much of a library goer but has been in a time or two and I don’t have anything else xD

PERSONALITY Boggart: The boggart turns into a crowd of people that turn their backs on Jazzy. Her fear is being an outcast. Mirror of Erised: Jazzy sees herself as a famous quidditch star, sought after by the biggest teams in the league. She's signing autographs for her fans. Patronus: Mallard Duck - Having her first ever bedroom and age 9 and sneaking into her mum and dad's bed anyway because she didn't want to be alone. It's a pure and comforting thought, feeling and memory knowing that her parents were there for here.
Jazzy is a bold sort. She's fun and energetic in all that she does. She tries to brighten anyone's mood if she can. She's a multitasker and by her very nature thrives on chaos. She's in her element when things are in the air both metaphorically and literally which is why she's so good as a chaser and able to captain the team at the same time. She's stubborn but never rude yet demands the very best from herself and her team mates. With her supportive and up-lifting attitude it's no wonder that she's loved. She's exceedingly driven and occasionally it's a surprise she didn't land herself in Slytherin. She's simply able to appease just about everyone she meets - though naturally there are a few hard arses that want to be jerks no matter what and so she makes and effort but there's only so much she'll do. She won't waste her time and energy on people that just want to be dicks.
Naturally her ability to befriend people so easily can rub some the wrong way. Usually these people consider themselves 'elite' to some degree and Jazzy just doesn't fit in with what they want their world to be. While friendly and out going Jazzy can be a little too much for people. She's extremely competitive and while she does her best to be positive and uplifting - she hates to lose. She is a sore loser and takes losses very seriously and she'll push her team even harder after a loss. She can also be a bit of a bad winner at times, rubbing it in faces and so on. At times her personality can just come across as a little too aggressive.HISTORY Mother: Felicity Moon née Carrow, 50, Slytherin, pureblood, blood traitor for marrying a blood traitor, healer Father: Mason Moon, 63, Gryffindor, pureblood, blood traitor, restaurateur - the wizarding world of Great Britain would know one of his establishments - The Ambrosia Lounge. Felicity Carrow was engaged to a relatively attractive suitor by the name of Marlon Wilkes. He was well off, from another Sacred 28 family and respectable. There wasn't anything about him not to like and yet Felicity always felt off with the so-called gentleman. She had the feeling he wasn't exactly what he seemed. The long and short of it was that he wasn't. He was a brute. Her parents didn't care. Her so called friends didn't care and so she found herself alone in the world with no one to turn to. Cue Mason. A married man with a pregnant wife at home. He was sweet and kind. He was friendly and funny. He was absolutely everything that Marlon was not. Felicity and Mason fell in love and he left his wife of six years for the young Carrow daughter. Life was not simple in those early years for Felicity and Mason. Felicity was dubbed a blood traitor for leaving her family high and dry, refusing to marry a gentleman from such a pure family and marrying a blood traitor. A blood traitor who was married and expecting a child. George was born to a broken family. Maggie and Mason could not come to an agreement and Maggie took off when their son was born, leaving Mason. Once the divorce was final a year later she changed her name and their son's. She picked a new surname and hid the two of them away, bitter that Mason had left them for another woman. Maggie became Elvie Plum and their sone Henry Plum. They remained in England but Maggie, apologies - Elvie - became a bit of a recluse, rarely leaving home only for work. Henry attended Hogwarts but Mason felt it best not to involve himself in his sons life. He'd not been in it or years, to appear all of a sudden could be upsetting for the boy, but Mason thought of his son every day. George - or Henry as he became - was only ever told that his father had perished in a house fire before he was born. Felicity was Mason's rock through those challenging years and found herself unexpectedly pregnant just months after they married. Then the news came that they were expecting twins. Felicity wasn't sure how to react. Mason was a chef and she was unemployed. Masons wage was okay, just enough to sustain the two of them she thought, but not the sort she'd been accustomed to growing up. Her life had already taken a huge detour and an unplanned pregnancy - with twins no less - was a big blow to her. After her children were born - two beautiful and bald baby girls - Felicity threw herself into learning. She trained as a healer and where she worked on the spell damage ward. She found life was a little easier than she'd expected. Sure they had to forego the family holidays as the girls started growing up but by the time they were eight they had saved enough money to buy their own place but they didn't buy a home. They borrowed money from the bank, they placed their money into Mason. He brought his own restaurant. This is a memory that Jazzy remembers fondly. Jazzy remembers well the little one bedroom home that they shared for years. They were in the heart of London and her father usually worked late nights, seven days a week. Demand for good chefs just wasn't out there, places would take anyone they could to serve terrible food, right up until Tom and Martha Plimpstock hired Mason to work one of their many restaurants when Jazzy was five. Tom and Martha were a sweet and elderly couple. Jazzy spent hours upon hours on their property on the outskirts of London. They only had the one child who had grown up and moved away. Their child had her own family but they didn't visit all that often. The poor muggles really didn't know how to travel other than by train and cars. Jazzy and her sister were treated like grandchildren by Tom and Martha. It was Jazzy's happy place growing up. They had so much freedom there whereas their one bedroom flat above a corner shop just wasn't anything special, though Jazzy didn't really mind how they lived, she grew up close to her mother and sister and enjoyed her fathers company in the afternoons after he'd wake up from his slumber and before he set off for work once more. Tom and Martha, despite being muggles, knew of the magical world that laid beyond what their own eyes could see. The day it was exposed to them had been many moons ago, before they'd even met Felicity and Mason so when Jazzy accidentally let slip a little magic (helping a baby bird stay safe from a prowling tom cat) she expected a lot of explaining and excuses but Martha and Tom had smiled knowingly and promised to keep her secret. Of course they spoke to Felicity and Mason of the situation and exposed what little knowledge they had of magic. Tom and Martha's was always a safe haven. The girls spent many summers there being looked after by the wonderful couple until Tom fell ill. He was taken to hospital when Jazzy was seven. Martha and Tom agreed it was time to retire and sold all eight of their world wide restaurants. They were worth hundreds of thousands of pounds but their restaurant in Oxford they sold for well below market value. They sold it for what they'd paid for it as a thank you to Mason for all his hard work for them over the years he'd worked in their kitchens. From there on life got better and better. Jazzy remembers fondly having her first bedroom. She helped decorate it, she helped style it and her first night in her room she snuck down the hallway of their three bedroom home and climbed into bed with her mother and father. She was nine years old but so accustomed to sharing a room with someone that no matter how thrilled she was to have her own room, she just wanted to sleep in with her mum and dad. Jazzy received her owl to Hogwarts and was delighted. She already knew that she was magical thanks to a few mishaps here and there but the waiting was agony! She was excited to shop for her books and wand and while they were shopping their parents allowed them, for the first time ever, to have a pet - each! Jazzy picked out the first animal she fell in love with. A little black kitten curled up in the shadow of a large and ornate owl cage. She hadn't spotted him at first but as she was about to move to look at the toads a small twitch caught her eye. She reached forward, picked the little darling up and that was that. Shadow became her little familiar. At Hogwarts Jazzy was beyond excited to be sorted into Gryffindor. She shared a dorm with a few other girls which was much to her liking, however she was in a different house to her sister. That took a little getting used to but so long as she was sharing a room with someone, Jazzy was happy. Although at times a little annoying with her talkative nature. By her third year Jazzy had fallen in love with quidditch. She'd heard all about it growing up but had never seen a game. During her first year of school she had become a natural at flying and then by her third year she was fast on the broom. She played the position of seeker for her third year but in her fourth year she took on that role of chaser. Things were much more fast paced and interesting and Jazzy wasn't afraid to play a little on their dirty side. Academics were a breeze. Jazzy found she picked up things easily, especially if she had an interest in it. OWLs were a breeze in her fifth year and in her sixth year she became quidditch captain. All through her school years she wrote to her parents and also to Tom and Martha. Her father's restaurant had well and truly taken off and he'd followed Tom's advice, opening a few here and there around the world. They were considerably well off by the time of her sixth year and it was obvious. Felicity loved having plenty of money once more and would send her daughters expensive gifts while they were at school. Jazzy absolutely loves a little diamond bracelet or ruby earrings as a gift. Jewellery is certainly something that makes her happy, as well as quidditch. Despite having a chef for a father she doesn't much enjoy cooking but can cook. In the summer holidays she cooks for her parents from time to time and Tom and Martha too. Now in her seventh year of school Jazzy is proudly Quidditch Captain for her second year in a row. She loves the sport and is doing exceptionally well on her NEWTs. She tries to balance her life as well as she can and tries to make time for her friends, sometimes putting off studying and homework to do so which is a bit of a problem, but she thinks that as she wants to be a professional Quidditch player, the grades she gets aren't really all that important but she'll try her best come exam time anyway, just in case.
