PERSONALITY Boggart: The boggart turns into a crowd of people that turn their backs on Jazzy. Her fear is being an outcast. Mirror of Erised: Jazzy sees herself as a famous quidditch star, sought after by the biggest teams in the league. She's signing autographs for her fans. Patronus: Mallard Duck - Having her first ever bedroom and age 9 and sneaking into her mum and dad's bed anyway because she didn't want to be alone. It's a pure and comforting thought, feeling and memory knowing that her parents were there for here. Jazzy is a bold sort. She's fun and energetic in all that she does. She tries to brighten anyone's mood if she can. She's a multitasker and by her very nature thrives on chaos. She's in her element when things are in the air both metaphorically and literally which is why she's so good as a chaser and able to captain the team at the same time. She's stubborn but never rude yet demands the very best from herself and her team mates. With her supportive and up-lifting attitude it's no wonder that she's loved. She's exceedingly driven and occasionally it's a surprise she didn't land herself in Slytherin. She's simply able to appease just about everyone she meets - though naturally there are a few hard arses that want to be jerks no matter what and so she makes and effort but there's only so much she'll do. She won't waste her time and energy on people that just want to be dicks. Naturally her ability to befriend people so easily can rub some the wrong way. Usually these people consider themselves 'elite' to some degree and Jazzy just doesn't fit in with what they want their world to be. While friendly and out going Jazzy can be a little too much for people. She's extremely competitive and while she does her best to be positive and uplifting - she hates to lose. She is a sore loser and takes losses very seriously and she'll push her team even harder after a loss. She can also be a bit of a bad winner at times, rubbing it in faces and so on. At times her personality can just come across as a little too aggressive. HISTORY Mother: Felicity Moon née Carrow, 50, Slytherin, pureblood, blood traitor for marrying a blood traitor, healer Father: Mason Moon, 63, Gryffindor, pureblood, blood traitor, restaurateur - the wizarding world of Great Britain would know one of his establishments - The Ambrosia Lounge. Siblings: Azalea "Zae" ____ Moon, 17 slightly older twin sister, Slytherin, pureblood, dubbed a blood traitor due to family name Henry ____ Plum, previously George Mason Moon, 20, half brother (muggle born mother Elvie Plum, formerly Maggie Moon née Clarke), half blood, house open Partners: None Others: Black cat named Shadow ... only he has vitiligo! Tom and Martha Plimpstock - surrogate grandparents! Muggles. Felicity Carrow was engaged to a relatively attractive suitor by the name of Marlon Wilkes. He was well off, from another Sacred 28 family and respectable. There wasn't anything about him not to like and yet Felicity always felt off with the so-called gentleman. She had the feeling he wasn't exactly what he seemed. The long and short of it was that he wasn't. He was a brute. Her parents didn't care. Her so called friends didn't care and so she found herself alone in the world with no one to turn to. Cue Mason. A married man with a pregnant wife at home. He was sweet and kind. He was friendly and funny. He was absolutely everything that Marlon was not. Felicity and Mason fell in love and he left his wife of six years for the young Carrow daughter. Life was not simple in those early years for Felicity and Mason. Felicity was dubbed a blood traitor for leaving her family high and dry, refusing to marry a gentleman from such a pure family and marrying a blood traitor. A blood traitor who was married and expecting a child. George was born to a broken family. Maggie and Mason could not come to an agreement and Maggie took off when their son was born, leaving Mason. Once the divorce was final a year later she changed her name and their son's. She picked a new surname and hid the two of them away, bitter that Mason had left them for another woman. Maggie became Elvie Plum and their sone Henry Plum. They remained in England but Maggie, apologies - Elvie - became a bit of a recluse, rarely leaving home only for work. Henry attended Hogwarts but Mason felt it best not to involve himself in his sons life. He'd not been in it or years, to appear all of a sudden could be upsetting for the boy, but Mason thought of his son every day. George - or Henry as he became - was only ever told that his father had perished in a house fire before he was born. Felicity was Mason's rock through those challenging years and found herself unexpectedly pregnant just months after they married. Then the news came that they were expecting twins. Felicity wasn't sure how to react. Mason was a chef and she was unemployed. Masons wage was okay, just enough to sustain the two of them she thought, but not the sort she'd been accustomed to growing up. Her life had already taken a huge detour and an unplanned pregnancy - with twins no less - was a big blow to her. After her children were born - two beautiful and bald baby girls - Felicity threw herself into learning. She trained as a healer and where she worked on the spell damage ward. She found life was a little easier than she'd expected. Sure they had to forego the family holidays as the girls started growing up but by the time they were eight they had saved enough money to buy their own place but they didn't buy a home. They borrowed money from the bank, they placed their money into Mason. He brought his own restaurant. This is a memory that Jazzy remembers fondly. Jazzy remembers well the little one bedroom home that they shared for years. They were in the heart of London and her father usually worked late nights, seven days a week. Demand for good chefs just wasn't out there, places would take anyone they could to serve terrible food, right up until Tom and Martha Plimpstock hired Mason to work one of their many restaurants when Jazzy was five. Tom and Martha were a sweet and elderly couple. Jazzy spent hours upon hours on their property on the outskirts of London. They only had the one child who had grown up and moved away. Their child had her own family but they didn't visit all that often. The poor muggles really didn't know how to travel other than by train and cars. Jazzy and her sister were treated like grandchildren by Tom and Martha. It was Jazzy's happy place growing up. They had so much freedom there whereas their one bedroom flat above a corner shop just wasn't anything special, though Jazzy didn't really mind how they lived, she grew up close to her mother and sister and enjoyed her fathers company in the afternoons after he'd wake up from his slumber and before he set off for work once more. Tom and Martha, despite being muggles, knew of the magical world that laid beyond what their own eyes could see. The day it was exposed to them had been many moons ago, before they'd even met Felicity and Mason so when Jazzy accidentally let slip a little magic (helping a baby bird stay safe from a prowling tom cat) she expected a lot of explaining and excuses but Martha and Tom had smiled knowingly and promised to keep her secret. Of course they spoke to Felicity and Mason of the situation and exposed what little knowledge they had of magic. Tom and Martha's was always a safe haven. The girls spent many summers there being looked after by the wonderful couple until Tom fell ill. He was taken to hospital when Jazzy was seven. Martha and Tom agreed it was time to retire and sold all eight of their world wide restaurants. They were worth hundreds of thousands of pounds but their restaurant in Oxford they sold for well below market value. They sold it for what they'd paid for it as a thank you to Mason for all his hard work for them over the years he'd worked in their kitchens. From there on life got better and better. Jazzy remembers fondly having her first bedroom. She helped decorate it, she helped style it and her first night in her room she snuck down the hallway of their three bedroom home and climbed into bed with her mother and father. She was nine years old but so accustomed to sharing a room with someone that no matter how thrilled she was to have her own room, she just wanted to sleep in with her mum and dad. Jazzy received her owl to Hogwarts and was delighted. She already knew that she was magical thanks to a few mishaps here and there but the waiting was agony! She was excited to shop for her books and wand and while they were shopping their parents allowed them, for the first time ever, to have a pet - each! Jazzy picked out the first animal she fell in love with. A little black kitten curled up in the shadow of a large and ornate owl cage. She hadn't spotted him at first but as she was about to move to look at the toads a small twitch caught her eye. She reached forward, picked the little darling up and that was that. Shadow became her little familiar. At Hogwarts Jazzy was beyond excited to be sorted into Gryffindor. She shared a dorm with a few other girls which was much to her liking, however she was in a different house to her sister. That took a little getting used to but so long as she was sharing a room with someone, Jazzy was happy. Although at times a little annoying with her talkative nature. By her third year Jazzy had fallen in love with quidditch. She'd heard all about it growing up but had never seen a game. During her first year of school she had become a natural at flying and then by her third year she was fast on the broom. She played the position of seeker for her third year but in her fourth year she took on that role of chaser. Things were much more fast paced and interesting and Jazzy wasn't afraid to play a little on their dirty side. Academics were a breeze. Jazzy found she picked up things easily, especially if she had an interest in it. OWLs were a breeze in her fifth year and in her sixth year she became quidditch captain. All through her school years she wrote to her parents and also to Tom and Martha. Her father's restaurant had well and truly taken off and he'd followed Tom's advice, opening a few here and there around the world. They were considerably well off by the time of her sixth year and it was obvious. Felicity loved having plenty of money once more and would send her daughters expensive gifts while they were at school. Jazzy absolutely loves a little diamond bracelet or ruby earrings as a gift. Jewellery is certainly something that makes her happy, as well as quidditch. Despite having a chef for a father she doesn't much enjoy cooking but can cook. In the summer holidays she cooks for her parents from time to time and Tom and Martha too. Now in her seventh year of school Jazzy is proudly Quidditch Captain for her second year in a row. She loves the sport and is doing exceptionally well on her NEWTs. She tries to balance her life as well as she can and tries to make time for her friends, sometimes putting off studying and homework to do so which is a bit of a problem, but she thinks that as she wants to be a professional Quidditch player, the grades she gets aren't really all that important but she'll try her best come exam time anyway, just in case.
