He has his mischievous streak, of course, but he really likes sweaters and fireplaces, too. He's a member of the Order of the Phoenix, is a Gryffindor alum, is broke and jobless. Oh, and he's also a werewolf, but he works really, really hard to make sure no one knows that about him. If he's your friend, he's loyal to his very core. He's also pretty good at talking himself out of trouble, so he's handy to have around.
He's single and not really looking, but if something happens, he wouldn't be opposed to it. Love just isn't super high on his list right now.
Given that he's in the Order of the Phoenix, he probably has a lot of enemies. Mostly Death Eaters and purebloods who are too, well, pureblood to be open-minded. He also has a particular distrust and dislike of doctors.

@phouxee & @junebug : I can see Sirius trying to get Remus to lighten up, maybe some pranks for good old days, get all the Marauders we have in one thread. I can picture Sirius and James, if he's game, getting drunk and getting up for some not quite responsible stuff and Remus trying to manage two drunk boys who want to make a lot of impossible things happen, like out running each other, on bicycles, while naked because their in animal form. Laughing while trying to reason with them.
Also Remus is free to crash on Sirius's sofa any day now ... and the trusting part ... doesn't have to happen ... AU and all, we can plot that and see.

Hazel Winifred VectorHe absolutely did... was pretty good at it, too. And he was something of a teacher's pet, but it doesn't necessarily mean he was more mature than the other marauders, he was just infinitely better at pretending to be. Anyway, I think he would have adored her, too!

A little closer to the full moon and these two pass one another by. A glance from both as they recognise the scent of their own. A lingering glance until they’re both forced to face the way they’re travelling, he gets distracted bumping in to someone and apologises. Cora turns off and then watches him for a moment from next to a stall and then she carries on her way, he spots her standing there with a quick glance but once he looks back again she’s gone! So basically they recognise one another as werewolves and they’ve not yet properly met. Cora’s heard of Remus as her younger sister, Emmeline, was in Remus’ year at school and there’s no way she wouldn’t have at least mentioned him. Cora wouldn’t recognise him all grown up, she was much older than him in school, but she thinks he’s a cutie and they should probably meet some day! He can have a werewolfy pal!

@junebug and Aurelie Evaine Sage So they didn't go to school but Aura just moved back to the country and opened up a Herbology shop of her own, so if he came in for wolfsbane she sells it. Plus Aura is an extremely nice person and accepting of werewolves. If Remus is still wanting a job she could always offer him a job as a storekeeper to help run the store. She used to be a member of the order as well from 1976-1978. What do you think? I also have @percival and @raina if you can think of anything for them. Raina hates werewolves and Percival would have no problem. |

Cora Calliope Vance I am so sorry for the delay on this, but I absolutely LOVE what you wrote. Remus would absolutely be intrigued by her and I'd love to see them run into each other somewhere and actually talk. Maybe dance around the hippogriff in the room but subtly allude to it, too. Aurelie Evaine Sage Yes, please. Remus is like two days away from taking a position at a pub in Knockturn Alley and it will just destroy him mentally, aside from the fact that it's dangerous as all heck. He can offhandedly mention that he's looking- she would probably recognize him since he would come in fairly regularly, do the whole how are you, what's new in your life, etc small chat. I love this a lot.
