Rosemary FarmhouseGodric's Hollow, England Named for the masses of rosemary bushes that grow down the side of the house, Rosemary Farmhouse was purchased by the Dearborn family in 1958 after finding out they were pregnant again for the fifth time. The Farmhouse was a little run down but liveable. James and Rosemary worked hard to make it their 'forever home'. Rosemary Farmhouse is found on the edge of Godric's Hollow and as such has an open outlook over its own land and countryside beyond. It is approached over a gravelled driveway which leads to a wide gravelled parking area in front of the house and then round to the cottage. With 8 bedrooms (some being on the snug side), two receiving rooms, plenty of bathrooms and even two kitchens, this house was once large enough for the family of 7 but with most of the adult children having flown the nest and Rosemary's passing, just Jim and Lunete remain but are happy to have the rest of the family over at any given time. Oh, and not forgetting the little two bedroom self contained cottage next to the main house and the sweeping 15 acres of land! james "jim" dearborn and Lunete Penelope Dearborn

The DrivewayWell what did you expect, really? It's a drive way ... The Grounds15 acres of beauty. Looking from the back of the house you see out to the small little lake. A small wooden bridge leads to a little secluded spot with manicured little bushes. KitchenWith the heart of any home being the kitchen, the Dearborn family made sure their's offered plenty of space to fit them all in while the children were growing up! Dining RoomA place for everyone in the Dearborn dining room. With a fireplaces for winter and French Doors that open to the back for summer, this is a favourite room to sit down with anything from a three course meal to a small snack. Drawing RoomThis spacious drawing room would seem small and cosy when all the Dearborn's piled in, but with two of their numbers missing it only adds to Jim's heartache. Clock CottageA tiny little two bedroom place with storage space in the roof is ideal for long-term guests that need their own space. The FloorplansClick here to enlarge!
