Order of the phoenix application
Connection to the Order: Geralina was invited into the Order a when she joined the castle staff in September of 1977. Her best friend Paris James was a member, and upon working under Dumbledore, he deemed her trustworthy and pure of heart enough to ask her to join their ranks. She had every reason to want to join, after her father abandoned his family when she was a baby and joined the ranks of Lord Voldemort, and she believes whole-heartedly that the Order are a group with a noble cause that she very much would like to be a part of. She is innately good, and there is no more fitting place for her.
Useful Skills: Quiet and unassuming as she may seem, Geralina has a strong moral compass, and an iron fist in a velvet glove. She appears to be quiet and quite the pushover, which is a great decoy for anybody thinking to mess with her. She excelled at school and is quite adept with a wand, quick on her feet thanks to a lifetime of dance training, and nobody would ever see it coming. A wolf in sheeps clothing, if necessary, and highly useful to have in the ranks of the Order. She has taken no physical combative training, but she would take well to it if it was necessary, and is physically fit enough to learn the robes of any fighting style, though she's good enough with a wand and intelligent enough to not need it.

Why join the Order of the Phoenix? Because it's the right thing to do. Because in times like these it's the only thing to do. Her father went dark and deserted his family before she was even a year old, and there are so many soulless people in the world that if people don't start stepping up and fighting back there's going to be no hope left at all. She has always been quiet and in the background in life, but it's time to step up and grow a pair. Geralina needs to prove to herself as well as others that she can do this, and that she is strong enough to make the cut and to do the right thing and stand up to evil. It might be a struggle for her at times, but she had her best friend by her side at first. Now that Paris has been killed by Death Eaters, it drives Geralina even more, and she would love nothing more than to see whatever scum murdered her best friend carted off to Azkaban for the rest of their lives. She has to fight back, because what next, her brothers dying? Her mum? Everyone else she cares about? She can't stand the thought of that happening, and if she's a part of the Order, she feels like she's doing something, however small, to keep her loved ones safe.
