Long, delicate fingers ran through loose blonde waves. The day had been long and Lissy’s hair was twisted and kinked and curled form having been tied up in a bun all day long. She had long blonde hair that was usually straight and kink-free, but you’d never know it this evening. Liss was in need of a little fun. The work week had been killer with more potions required than ever. Tonight people seemed to be in the party mood as she was preparing all kinds of extra special elixirs - nothing illegal, however there were certainly some people up for partying tonight! Lissy was only too happy to oblige; for a decent price. Some of her regular customers had been in, a few one offs and a few people she’d brewed for before but that couldn’t quite be classed as regulars, at least not yet.
With her potion pantry full at work she was taking the weekend off. Usually the weekend was busy, people wanting party potions for Friday and Saturday, usually those same people wanting a potion to perk them up again for Monday morning. The weekend was never slow and being the best potioneer in the business, Liss always took it upon herself to make sure that her clients were always happy. Luckily Jules was a good salesman. Charming and good looking. The ladies loved him. There was certainly a higher female clientele thanks to Julian’s charm. She was bloody glad she’d got him a job at Slugs and Jiggers, and even more glad that he’d actually stuck around. She’d half expected him to bugger off a month after working, and even that she thought was a generous time frame.
Ready for a night out of fun with Neve, Liss had taken her time getting ready. She was probably cutting it a bit close for arriving on time, but Neve knew what she was getting into when agreeing to a night out with Liss! The blonde was rarely on time, even for work, but that was okay, as a potioneer she could claim potions would be ready when they were ready, she had a demand to keep up with, but it wasn’t a fixed, hard deadline. Thinking of ‘hard’ things, Liss touched up her pink lipstick carefully in the mirror by the front door before she placed the lid back on and slipped the lipstick away into her clutch.
Shutting the door behind her Liss didn’t wait around for long. A quick check up and down told her there were no muggles about, not that it mattered with these new laws and all but she supposed she did it out of habit and not wanting to be called a ‘witch’ out in public. She arrived at the corner of Mystic Alley, pushing a stray strand of hair off her face, her hair back up in a bun, only a well styled one rather than one she just threw up for the likes of work. “Never have I ever ... slept with the owner of that establishment.” She smirked as she pointed to The Starlight Speakeasy, striding her way over to Neve, knowing she was a few minutes late, but come on, it was a girls night! She had to make sure she was looking her absolute best!

Goosebumps were all over her arms, and Neve was pretty sure that if the inch of her midriff that was bare got any colder, her body would just split in half and she'd die right there in the middle of Whimsic Alley. Her shoes were stuck to her feet, she would bet her entire wardrobe on it. If she tried to take them off, her whole feet would just crumble off at the ankle, scattering into little blocks of ice. They'd be sparkly, at least. "Damnit, I should have put body glitter on," she muttered to herself as she glanced down at her bare legs and feet, which were not sparkling. They were shiny and smooth and perfect at least. As was her hair in a thick braid over one shoulder. If she'd have left it down, she might have been warmer. If she'd have done a lot of things, she might have been warmer. Lissa was always late, it was her thing. Just like Neve's thing was, well, she had a lot of things. The point was, she was going to have a long wait for her friend to arrive. Neve tucked herself out of the way as crowds began to thicken, witches and wizards apparating into the busy alley, all looking for a good night. Neve really wanted a good night, she'd had a stressful day at work and couldn't talk to anyone about it, not that she wanted to, work was best left on the Ministry doorstep. She needed to let her hair down and forget about it for a while. Not literally, she loved her braid. Or did she? She toyed with the end of it, contemplating shaking it loose and having sexy waves instead. "Excuse me, do you think I should leave this in or take it out?" she asked a young guy who was passing with his friends. He gave her a feral grin and whistled. "I think you should take it all off." Neve's smile was wide. What a lovely and unexpected compliment! The lad carried on down the alley and Neve's smile landed on Lissa as she strutted up to her, trilling about never have I ever slept with Fine-ly Avery. He was fine. So fine. "There's still time," Neve told her, shuffling up to Liss with her frozen feet. "Where are we going first? I don't think I can walk far. Or at all. I've been standing still for a week." In the final few steps between herself and Neve, Lissy did a little run and wrapped her friend up in a hug. The woman was freezeing and Liss looked up the alley. "How about some cocktails at the Ambrosia and then hit up Hellfire?" She said decisively, linking her arm with Neve and heading in the direction of The Ambrosia Lounge. "Any cuties out tonight?" She asked, looking up and down the alley. She may have been late but it only meant that her bestie had a chance to check out the talent for the night. Maybe there was an extra hot guy that was worth following into a night club or pub, maybe there was a group of lads that looked as though they'd be a laugh to hang with for a while, Neve's freezing body was the price they had to pay for scoping out this evenings entertainment. If there was nothing worth while then they were just going to have to hope there were decent guys at the 'Brosia or Hellfire!

Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me starlight and dewdrops are awaiting thee "Oh, there were some lovely boys complimenting me just before, but they went that way towards the Rellik and you know I don't go in there," Neve said, pulling a face that spoke of her dislike of the seedy tavern. It wasn't a place for beautiful treasures such as herself and Lissa. The warmth radiating from Lissa's body was amazing, and Neve leaned into her as they began a slow walk towards the Ambrosia Lounge, which was thankfully not that far away. Neve's legs felt stiff with the cold, and she nearly went over on her ankle a few steps into their journey, but gripped onto her friend for balance, letting out a small squeak. The Rellik Tavern was not the sort of place for two sexy ladies such as themselves to visit. There was a known type that frequented that tavern and they were not it, not even slightly. Neve was far too much of a sparkling diamond to ever survive in a rough place like that, and Lissa simply couldn't stand then men that looked as though they had a troll for a grandfather. Admittedly the idea that a couple of hit guys had gone in there meant she would possibly consider making her way in if she was with the right sort of friend, but tonight was not the night for adventures of that sort, tonight was for a girly night! "What are you going to have? I'm going to start with that pink candy floss cloud that rains the cocktail into your glass." She grinned. Pink, sugary and delicious! With the Ambrosia Lounge not too far ahead, Lissa could practically taste the cocktail she could see so clearly in her minds eye.

"I might get a butterfly," she said, tilting her head in consideration. She quite liked the winged glasses. "Or a Dragon's Breath." Not as harsh as it sounded. Sure, it was a stronger drink, but Neve could handle her alcohol quite well, or so she thought until she stepped outside and fresh air hit her, then she usually threw up in the street and had to be carried home, but that was not going to happen tonight. Nope. It was not. A Dragon's Breath was probably a good idea. Or both. "Maybe a few shots of Pixie's Kiss to start off with." Shots were always a fun idea. Pixie's kiss! "Yes! I'll join you with those." Liss said with an excited grin before they went in to the bar. There was a cute sofa available near the wall and Liss grabbed Neve's hand and trotted over there before someone else could nab it. It was a prime spot, close to the bar that you wouldn't have to carry drinks back too far, close enough to the toilets that you could follow that wall to them if you'd had too many, but not so close that the air-freshener gags you every time the door opens. Was it the best seat in the house? No, however it was definitely one of the best and she was happy to nab it before anyone else.
Pulling Neve down onto the sofa, Liss giggled and nodded her head over to a group of guys that looked a bit funny with cocktails in their hands, but every single one of them was dressed smartly enough and was handsome in their own way. Naturally some were more handsome than others, but no matter who you looked at, there was something enjoyable about all of them, "Ooo! Yummy nummies o'clock!" She grinned, giving a flirty littler wave to one of the guys that had looked their way. "I'll get the drinks, you keep looking hot and smack down any bitches that try to steal our seats." She said with a grin before she headed to the bar to order drinks. It was too early to commit to picking a cute guy or two for the night and besides, she needed some good gal time with Neve first, but who knew where the night would take them later. Liss figured she'd head over and chat to the cute guys a little later, and with Neve by her side it wouldn't matter if they were hanging with other women because no one would be able to pass her and Neve up!

Neve kicked her legs up to hog the entire couch, shooing a couple away as they passed, eying up the far end of the couch. "Move along," she said sweetly, fingers flicking them in the other direction as she glanced around the bar for signs of any hot guys that might want to join them tonight. There were a few, but none that caught her eye in a way that made her want to ditch Lissa and dirty her bed sheets later. Liss made it to the bar without getting distracted by some hot body. She was even able to order a round of drinks that looked as though it were for four people but was in fact just for her and Neve before she spotted a Mr Tall, Dark and Sexy down the other end of the bar. She waved coyly, while giving him a look to suggest he should definitely come see her and ravish her on the bar, instead he spoke to a bartender who spoke to the bartender serving her. Her bartender placed the drinks on a tray and told Liss the bill was taken care of. Liss didn't like that some handsome stranger she was flirting with at a bar didn't immediately come to her side and start hitting on her, but she was happy with the outcome, free drinks were okay, she supposed, so she winked, blew a kiss to the guy and hovered the tray over to the coffee table that was certainly not going to see any coffee tonight. "Tall, dark and smoking hot at the bar shouted the drinks." She said, shooing Neve's feet out the way and sitting herself down, "I wonder if he's with anyone," She mused, turning to face Neve even more so it didn't look as though she was staring at the hot guy, but giving Neve the opportunity to try and spot him and see if he was with anyone, "Can you see him?" She asked. It was too early to hook up with anyone for the night, but maybe a good snog would have him following her around like a puppy for the evening until Liss was fed up with him and wanted a new toy.

"Where?" she asked, raising her chin to get a better look. She didn't care if he saw her looking, if he was interested enough to buy their drinks then what did it matter? It took her a minute but she spotted him, tall and gorgeous. And alone. "I can't see anyone with him," she said, eying him up and down. "Share?" She'd be more than happy to get drunk and share the guy for a night. "Oh, wait. Wait. Cute blonde guy just joined him. Oh, yum." Neve bit her lip seductively as both guys glanced their way. No one with him was good, she didn't want some horrid girlfriend getting all jealous because she was hotter than her, "Of course," She smirked, more than happy to share a hot guy with Neve, after all Neve was one of her closest friends, if she couldn't share a guy with her then just what would she share? "Blonde?" Yum! Liss turned to look and saw the two guys, blondie was hot, very good looking, but she preferred the one she'd seen at the bar and had bought their drinks. The night was still so very young, they had plenty of time to find even hotter guys, although Liss definitely wouldn't say no if bar hottie wanted to ravish her later. "Yes!" She said, turning back to Neve and taking her drink, "Cheers, love!" She said, glasses clinking before she took a good sip of her drink, enjoying the fruity tingle that spread over her tongue.

She had warmed up considerably, and was almost at the point of sweating though she had charms in place to keep that from being an issue. Nobody wanted to hook up with a sweaty person. They hadn't actually hooked up with anyone yet, though, which was fine, the night was still young and there were plenty of other bars to visit before they called it a night. Or a morning. "I love this song!" Quite a few drinks down and Lissa was having an amazing time with Neve. The music was loud and everybody was having a good time. Lissa checked every now and. Then to see if there was anyone hot enough to dance with, but the hottest pieces of ass on the dance floor were her and Neve, so she stuck with her bestie. "Yeah!" She shouted over the music, having no idea what it was that Neve had said, but it didn't matter too much because Autumn Vexx was playing and the whole place was pulsating with life, and just in time, two hotties took to the dance floor and wasted no time in making their moves on clearly the two only worthwhile women on the dance floor - Neve and herself.

"I don't give up easily," he promised, smacking her arse. Neve squealed and glanced at Lissa over her shoulder, eyes wide. This guy was full on. Liss happily rubbed up against the hot guy. His hands slid down over her hips and she slipped her hand up to the back of his neck, resting her body ever so slightly against his. A quick glance over to Neve and Liss knew it was time to move on. The second the music changed Liss tiptoed to Neve and took her hand, pulling her away from the handsome bloke and pulling her towards the bar. "Time to bounce!" She yelled over the music, taking Neve quickly past the bar and towards the exit. Once outside, Liss really felt the cold. "Where to next?" She grinned, bouncing on the balls of her feet, eager to hit up the next club.
