Sirius snorted derisively, nearly choked, then swallowed the last of what was in his mouth. “No one wants me there and I am not upset by that in the slightest. All a bunch of sodding wankers, they are.” He stood as he spoke, put off from his dinner by the topic of conversation. He’d take his drink though, and maybe get a refill on his way to the living room. He laughed to himself as he thought about her request again. “Yeah, no way in bloody hell I’d go to that shindig.” He poured himself another Ogden’s and Pepsi, laughing periodically, and moved into the living room where he plopped himself down on the couch and threw his feet up on the coffee table.

Regina quickly pursed her lips and tried not to laugh at Sirius' reaction. She smirked and coughed slightly to try and make it seem as though she wans't laughing. Honestly, they were a bunch of wankers and she was well aware of that, but she couldn't laugh, could she? Some of those people were her friends and family. It would be rude to laugh, even if no one else was aware of it. She respected Sirius' stance, however. She'd asked twice, gotten a couple of different 'no's, and that was good enough for her. He wouldn't go, be she sure would be going and she could make an excuse for Sirius, although did anyone expect him to show up? His parents were probably hopeful for an appearance from him, but they'd surely know better by now. She'd be there to see them, they were her new parents-in-law after all!
Sirius left the table while Regina was still eating. It was exceedingly rude but she didn't mind, she knew that he'd been very used to living on his own before she came along. She ha d a couple more mouthfuls of food and drink before she wiped her mouth with her napkin and sent the dishes flying off to the kitchen. She'd take care of those later, right now she had to make sure her husband was comfortable so she made her way into the lounge and sat herself down gently beside her husband, sighing contentedly at how perfect their life was.

Sirius was not at all concerned with whether his parents would be expecting him at the Lestrange Christmas party, mostly because he knew they weren’t. They had cursed his name when he’d run away and disowning him officially was probably the thrill of Walburga’s miserable life. He could only imagine what Orion would do if Sirius’ smug face showed up after all these years, a sodding pureblood princess on his arm to present as his new wife? Die of a heart attack, quite possibly. The thought was gleeful enough that Sirius almost agreed to go but thought better of his impulsive nature when Regina appeared in the lounge. He needed to sort out this first disaster before creating any new ones. Didn’t he? She sat beside him with a happy little sigh that made Sirius want to head for the hills. Instead, he drank his cocktail in silence and when he was finished, he asked Regina to fix him another.
By the time he was three drinks in, Sirius was feeling pretty great, having nearly forgotten all about the horrible invitation he’d received earlier at tea. He lounged on the sofa in a relaxed pose, his head low enough that it rested on the back cushion without effort. He had been regaling Regina with a tale of the time he and Peter had lost their shirts at a poker hall. “Literally! Dunno where it went!” He’d also lost a fair bit of silver in the process, but it was unclear whether the men had spent it on gambling or booze; they’d had too much of both. “Next thing I remember, we’re waking up outside. I’m in a bush and Wormtail’s in the sodding pool. In it! Bugger nearly drowned.” He laughed obnoxiously, raising his glass to his lips and then frowning when he realized it was empty. “Be a good wifey and top us off, eh love?” Sirius shook his empty glass at her. He smacked her on the bum as she stood and gave her a naughty smile. Regina might have been a total nutter, but she was hot as fuck and a good shag, particularly after Sirius had a few too many drinks.

The evening was amazing! Sirius had so many stories and Regina was hooked on every word. He had her laughing and even unable to believe some of his tales but he assured her it was all true and she took him at his word. "You guys get into so much trouble!" she laughed, knowing it was just in their natures. They were such amazing friends and Regina knew that they were family to Sirius so it was really important that she got on with them if she was going to have a successful relationship with her husband. "Oh!" She said, not realising Sirius' drink had gone dry, "Of course," She said, hopping up at once and grabbing his drink. His little playful smack gave her cause to giggle and she ran off to fix him up a drink at the bar, "But what happened to James's watch? Did you guys manage to get it back?" She asked as she mixed the drinks, it didn't take long at all before she was returning to her husband, passing him his drink and settling in beside him, ready to hear more, keeping count of how many drinks Sirius had had. He was almost ready for her to start undoing his pants, although she liked to make sure he was fully into it before giving it a go, the idea of rejection from her husband after such a splendid night was preventing her from just climbing on his lap and snogging his face off, but after this drink, or probably during, she was fairly certain she could slip her hand into his trousers and it'd be the start of the end to another of their wonderful, magical evenings together.

The question threw Sirius for a moment, as he didn’t understand what James’ watch had to do with her refilling his drink. It caught up to him and he carried on as if there had never been a lapse in the conversation. “It was on the hippo! Yeah, Prongs was pissed when we got it back, ‘cause the hippo had stretched it out and it had already taken us a fair few tries to get it back.” It all made perfect sense in Sirius’ head, but whether Regina could follow the story was another question – one which he wasn’t asking. He took the fresh drink from her and pulled her in beside him as she returned to his side. Sirius found her much more appealing after a few drinks but Remus was the first to point out that he couldn’t be drunk 100% of the time – despite Sirius attempting what he thought was a solid argument against him. He carried on with the story, which blurred into another story without Sirius’ realizing, and his hand began to wander up Regina’s dress, giving her the signal she’d been looking for probably since he walked through the door. They were in for a wild night, and a serious headache come morning.

Regina followed Sirius's story just fine. It wasn't as if it was the first time she'd heard it. When he got drunk he did like to tell her as many stories as he could about his escapades with his fellow Marauders - and it was always with them. Sirius didn't seem to have any other friends, or maybe he just didn't talk about them around her, but there were a few stories she'd heard a time or two before but she wouldn't let on, she'd always act as though they were new and fascinating to her. She'd do just about anything for her husband, although in her mind it was literally anything.
Time went on and Regina was captivated by Sirius. His smooth talking voice, slightly slurred speech and hand sliding its way seductively up her thigh was a surefire sign that he was ready to step things up to the next level and Regina was nothing but receptive.
Regina slipped her own hand onto Sirius' thigh but it didn't stay there for long, she crept it up to his crotch where she not-so-subtly hinted at what she was after, applying a little pressure so he could feel her hand through his trousers. She knew what she was doing, she'd encouraged his drinking on nights like this for a while now, it was the only way he'd touch her and she was fine with that, because once she was pregnant, she knew he'd do the right thing and make their relationship a proper marriage. "There's another drink upstairs with your name on it and you can unwrap and early Christmas present." She purred into his ear, jingling the bells on her bow. That would have to be his final drink, she thought. She knew how many was too many for her husband, she was a perfect wife after all, and too many didn't mean he couldn't handle his drink and would pass out, but more because he couldn't keep it up and she needed it.

Sirius moaned happily at Regina’s touch, a clear sign he’d had too much to drink, and when she suggested they move upstairs he was more than ready. He barked at her playfully, drunkenly, and bared his teeth as if he were planning to unwrap his present with his mouth instead of his hands. If she were lucky that would be exactly what he did, but the first step was getting upstairs. He pulled himself off the sofa, smacking Regina’s arse seductively but also to move her out of his way, then began stumbling toward the stairs as he fumbled with his belt and trouser fasteners. He gave up half way up the stairs, and decided Regina could do the rest of the work – he needed to save his energy and coordination for when they were both naked because Sirius, as always, liked to put on a show. A show he would hardly remember come morning, but that was Morning Sirius’ problem.
