PERSONALITY Boggart: The mangled bodies of his parents and sister, mauled by some creature or other that he'd accidentally led into their lives. The Graphorn (other vicious creatures are available) would devour his family right in front of him. Mirror of Erised: He would probably be quite surprised to see himself with a wife and child by his side. Zach would expect to see himself with a pet erumpent or thunderbird or something else impressive and scary, but nope. He doesn't realize it yet, but his heart wants what it wants. Patronus: Tiger - Any of the times he and Zelda were taken to parks or playgrounds as kids. Just that simple happiness of being pushed on the swings by their mum and dad, each of them calling to go higher, higher than the other. It was always competition, but their smiles were never bigger. Pushing each other down the slide, sure sometimes it hurt and your legs got a little bit burned, but it was fun! Innocent childhood fun! Racing through a field to get to a ball first, seeing who could climb the tree the fastest to get the kite down. It all fuels Zach's Patronus with a fierce energy of pure love and happiness. Zach has been described as larger than life by some people. He'd say he's pretty chilled out, but that's just because he thinks he's cooler than he probably is. He can be charming when he wants, but mostly he's got a mouth that can get him into trouble, and confidence bordering on arrogance. He calls a spade a spade, and doesn't mince his words for anyone, it doesn't matter who you are, you're getting the truth, and then you're getting a slice of pie to make it feel less like a blow. Or just have some pie anyway, Zach loves his food, and it really can change his mood for the better when he's feeling crappy or angry. Zach has a brilliant sense of humour, and though he's known for his easily triggered temper, he's also known for his silliness. He isn't scared to look like an idiot in the name of fun, and random dancing, singing, leaping through the halls like a deranged ballerina, and wild facial expressions are just a tiny example of the things he can often be found doing. He loves to laugh, and can find fun in a lot of situations, especially when you least expect it. Zach isn't a big fan of deep emotions, and he is a master at deflecting. If you ask him how he's feeling, or pry in any deep way, you'll probably just get some random unrelated response, or he'll change the subject without even acknowledging what you've said. Don't try and go deep with him, he'll avoid it at all costs unless you're family, and even then it'll be rare that he opens up like that. He's a generous guy with a golden heart, and he will put his life on the line for anyone in trouble, which makes him a bit rash, but he doesn't care. If he can do something to save or protect another human being, then he will. It's what makes him great in the Order, and also what makes him a pretty good employee for the Ministry. Working in the Beast Division and going out hunting dangerous creatures for a living gives him such a buzz, but he also knows he's protecting people every day, and that makes him feel good. He likes to fight the good fight. He also likes to fight bad fights, or just fighting in general, he's a bit of a hot-head, but his temper is fast and fades quickly once satiated. Being a muggleborn, Zach is very much in love with guns. He knows he has a wand that is blood magnificent, but you'll never find him on the job without a gun stashed in his belt just in case. It makes him feel safer, and he just can't get rid of his muggle heritage because he went to magic school, bloody hell, that's a big ask. He's very much stubborn and set in his ways, and he doesn't like people coming into his world and trying to make new rules or take charge. Zach is the boss of his own life, and anyone who wants to try and change that will have one hell of a battle on their hands. Good luck to any women wanting to be more than a short fling, you'll have your work cut out for you trying to get him to make some wiggle room for you in his routine. He's very much a man whore, he will sleep around happily for the rest of his life, but as his Erised above reveals, he doesn't even know it yet, but the one thing that would make him the happiest in life, is a wife and kid. Just the one kid would do, he's not greedy. And a wife who is totally badass and incredible, to stand by his side through his slightly adventurous and dangerous life. That'd be great. If he knew it. For know he's very much a fling or one night stand guy, and he will rock your world, damnit. HISTORY Mother: Natalie Zeller nee Winston, 66, muggle, lawyer Father: Gerald Zeller, 66, muggle, mechanic Siblings: Zelda Zeller, twin sister, 26, Hufflepuff Alumna, Hit Witch Partners: None and many. Others: Various magical pets. Gerald and Natalie Zellers dreams of becoming parents might have been realised a little bit late in life, but as Natalie pushed their first born into the world, they got their happy ending in the puffy but beautiful green eyes of Zachary Zeller. Zelda followed behind him pretty quickly, she couldn't ever be kept waiting for long, but whatever. Zach was a beautiful baby, strong and sturdy and capable of winning over anyone with those Disney Princess eyes. Zelda was a bit of a bratty, clingy little thing, but Zach was the golden boy, he could do no wrong. He liked to entertain himself, crawling around after the family cat, trying to pull himself up on the furniture, determined to walk as soon as physically possible, and occasionally throwing building blocks at Zeli's face. She would pull his hair and then cry for mummy and get cuddles, while Zach just carried on playing, happy to have all the toys to himself for a few minutes. As they got older the twins continued to bicker and fight, often wrestling each other, or being far too competitive with basically everything until one or both of them got hurt. They were tough little things, but honestly, whenever Zeli got hurt, Zach would feel bad, and he'd get her a cookie to cheer her up, or put her favourite show on the tv because, deep down, he loved her more than anything, and though they fought and wound each other up, he would do anything to see her smile. Zeli was a bit full on, though, and where she liked company, Zach enjoyed a bit of solitude, and he would often go and play in the garden by himself for hours at a time. His magic was late to show itself compared to the "strange things" that his sister would experience. The world of magic showed itself to Zach in a different way. One day after school, Zach was playing in the garden, it was summer and the sun was shining down on the lawn, so he sought cover in the trees, his toy soldiers all lined up in the mud, when a tiny paw reached out and snatched one with a shimmering silver helmet. Shocked, Zach leapt to his feet and ran after the creature, which he had thought was a cat, but as he got closer, he realised it was something else entirely. He now knows it was a Niffler, but at the time, this odd little animal was huddled on top of a pile of his and Zelda's toys that it must have stolen over some period of time and made itself what almost looked like a nest. He approached the creature carefully, and it allowed him to watch it for a long while. Zach was fascinated. He began to leave food for the little animal, and eventually it let him touch it, first just a little tickle with one finger, then after a few weeks, it would sit on his shoulders out there in the cover of the trees. His little secret. Zach had always loved animals, but this was much more fascinating than the cat, and over the years, he saw a couple more sights that weren't as cute as the Niffler. Doxies, a gnome that tried to bite his toe, and Grindylows at the river in the park that tried to lure him into the water. It was quite a surprise when Professor McGonagall showed up and told Zach and Zelda that they were magical, but it did explain a lot. School was nothing but a great adventure for Zach, he loved the idea of living in a castle. Dungeons to explore! Towers to climb! A forest full of magical creatures! A giant freaking squid! And then there was flying, he didn't care what house he had been put into, he didn't know the difference between them all anyway, but he would sure as hell do his damned best to help them win any and all cups and trophies that were available. He played as Beater for the Hufflepuff team for the majority of his school years (fourth to seventh year), and his sister kicked arse as a Prefect, making him more than proud. The twins looked out for each other, especially as they discovered that not everyone wanted them to be there. They were called a few nasty names over the years because they had come from a "muggle family", but they made sure to make their mark on the school, and eventually people knew not to mess with them. He would beat the crap out of anyone who insulted him of his sister, and to hell with the consequences. His friends were true, and all adored him, and that was all that mattered. Zach graduated with average grades, though he aced Care of Magical Creatures and Defence Against the Dark Arts, the only two subjects he'd had a real passion for. After graduation he went to work at his dad's garage for a while, he'd loved helping out there as a kid, and it was no less enjoyable as an adult. His dad gave him a car for his eighteenth birthday, an old Impala that he'd been doing up for a couple of years. It was in brilliant condition, and Zach still has it to this day, and considers it practically his child. After about six months of working with his dad, Zach fell upon a job that he felt might just be perfect for him. The Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures was hiring, specifically the beast division, and boy did it call to Zach. Hunting down dangerous magical creatures and bringing them in? Hell yeah! He's been in the job for eight years now and it has toughened him up no end, if it were possible for him to get tougher. He has travelled all over the country and seen some pretty scary sights, and likes to keep a gun on him just in case. He's used it a few times, and though he doesn't like killing creatures, if it's him or them, he wont hesitate to pull the trigger or fire his wand. He considers himself more muggle than wizard in a lot of ways, but honestly, magic is pretty cool, especially the dangerous side of it. He joined the Order alongside his sister, because to hell with being seen as scum by a bunch of power crazed snobs. He is no less deserving of the magic that runs through his veins than they are, and if he has to ride on on the back of a fricking dragon to shut the bastards up, then he will. Fire blazing, gun firing, wand blasting and all. In the meantime he has a little house that he lives in with a few magical pets that he's picked up over the years, and he's happily single and playing the field, hanging out with his mates and making as much time for his family as he can. He's happy, and raring to go in this war. OOC Play By: Jensen Ackles Your Alias: Izzy Pronouns: Her/she. Age: *mumbles* Other Characters: You see nothing here.
