Lilith took a deep breath, looking in the mirror and running her hands down over the silk nightdress she wore. Her hair was a mess and her face was pale but she’d only just woken up and she knew she looked a thousand times better than any other woman on the planet who was all dolled up and trying to look her best. Lilith knew she was just a natural beauty and she wasn’t going to squander her looks nor was she going to use them for complete manipulation. She preferred her mind for that, but as she looked in the mirror, breathing in and out, watching the gentle curve of her breast rise and fall, she wondered if there might be something that would make her that little more perfect. Her left hand slid around to her back while her right hand caressed the front of her stomach. She stood tall but natural, not sucking her stomach in or trying to look like anything she wasn’t. Some day she would carry a son in her womb, an heir for Rabastan and she looked forward to being a mother. She came from a loving family, as did Rabastan and she wanted the same for her children. Boys and girls alike, they would have love in their lives as well as anything and everything their hearts desired. They would be spoilt and they would be wonderful. Her mind naturally crept to the act itself. The act that would be needed to indeed create an heir with her soon to be husband. Lilith had not given herself to a man before, not in that way, and she wanted her husband, whoever he’d be, to be her one and only. It was a tad romanticised, she knew that, but she had a rather romantic streak when it came down to it. She hoped that Rabastan would grow to love her, that they would love one another and remain loyal and faithful. The idea that he was anything like his brother made her stomach churn. She didn’t want for her husband to fool around behind her back and she didn’t want to know of it if he did. She wanted bliss and happiness. She wanted what her parents had but it wasn’t ever going to be. When she’d been younger and far more naive than she was now, she’d kind of hoped that Julian would whisk her away. He wasn’t as pureblooded as she would have liked but he was fun and making out with him was always a thrill. That was just a silly school girl fantasy though. It was never anything that would actually come true, and then after he’d graduated that was it, she’d not seen him again. Lilith had never really had ‘crushes’ like many of her school friends, and she’d never entertained the idea of boyfriends really. There was never anyone all that good enough for her apart from Rabastan and she’d never really attempted to make herself known to him. She’d caught his older brother’s eye when she’d been working as Rodolphus’ personal secretary and while he would have made a very fine husband indeed, he was already to married to the barren Black woman. Or not so barren. They had one child, a daughter, but she was older now, five years old and they’d not had any children before or after her and in the top world of the elite, there was only one reason for that - she was unable to carry children well. There’d been a few rumours here and there, speculating that she was pregnant, but none were ever confirmed until she carried her daughter. Married women were always expected to conceive an heir within the first year of marriage because that was usually the whole point of marriage in the first place. The fact it had taken the Lestrange couple a while to conceive their first, have a daughter and then never have a child again, all pointed to Bellatrix being barren. It really wouldn’t have surprised Lilith, all that inbreeding in the Black family and her own sister was also having difficulties. Married for a while and actual news of miscarriages from the Malfoy’s only added fuel to the fire that Bellatrix was much like her sister.
Getting ready for her day, Lilith left the mirror and any thoughts of changing her body behind. She was perfection and as she caught a glimpse of her backside she smirked to herself. Sheer perfection. Her day started the same as any other, she showered herself and performed her little rituals to make sure she looked her absolute best. She picked out the finest clothes and ate only a healthy breakfast, something bland and devoid of all flavours in order to keep her figure the way it was. She’d lost a couple of pounds for the wedding but she didn’t want to be too skinny. She didn’t want to be the type of girl that could see her rib cage when she looked at herself naked in the mirror, and Lilith could certainly look at herself naked in the mirror for a decent amount of time, something that not a lot of other women could do. After being ready for her day she made her way to work, the charms she’d placed on her hair to keep it in place worked, just like they always did. She was head to toe perfection and when it came time to leave work she was out the door before anyone else, completing a rare full days work in the office.
After a relatively easy day Lilith was home, greeted by the only other inhabitant of the home her house elf, Mitzteig. Mitzteig took Lilith’s outer garments and asked if Lilith would like anything to drink. Lilith declined. She had Rabastan coming over this evening and Mitzteig had her work cut out for her. Lilith was exceedingly fussy with her food and it had to be prepared and cooked perfectly, especially while she hosted the company of her future husband, but Mitzteig was yet to let her down so despite a little apprehension and worry, she was looking forward to what she’d requested for the evening. A three course meal that she wouldn’t even finish half of, the finest champagne and some wonderful music to play in the background. Mitzteig was rather accomplished with both the piano and violin, as was Lilith but her favourite by far was the piano which she had demanded be played this evening. A fine medley of gentle and classical music would play, some of Lilith’s favourites by some of the greatest wizarding composers known to man. Of course they were all dead so her house elf would be gently playing without actually being in the room. House elf magic was a wonder sometimes but Lilith didn't have time to sit and think about it, not even for a second, she was off upstairs getting ready, spending her time between getting home and Rabastan's arrival pampering herself a little because Merlin knew she was worth it. To The Better Couple Rabastan tucked the lavish red roses under his arm, pocketing his wand as he reached up to ring the doorbell at Oleander Grove. He had been here many, many times by now, and was starting to get used to the place. The idea of living there once he and Lilith were married wasn't actually so bad, it was large and quite beautiful, an improvement on the manor he was rattling around in on his own at the moment. He knew the invitation was there to move in with Lilith, but he would not budge until they were Mr and Mrs. Stubborn as a mule he may have been, but he liked to view it as respectful, as doing things the right way. He would have honestly preferred to buy a new home together, using his own family's money, but he knew Oleander Grove was a gift from Lilith's family for their engagement, meant to be a family home for the couple and whatever children they produced over the years. He supposed it was large enough for children to get lost in, which was a good sign, childhood was nothing without a sense of adventure, even within ones own home. Lilith's house elf, Mitzteig, opened the front door for him, as she usually did, and Rabastan nodded at her in greeting as she bowed to him, ushering him inside as politely as possible and referring to him as "Master Lestrange". "Announce my arrival," he told the house elf firmly. "I'll wait in the lounge." He required no further interaction with the house elf, and merely shoved his coat in it's hands and headed off down the hallway that would lead to the main living area of the house, just as lavish as one might expect. He placed the bunch of roses on the coffee table and sat himself down on one of the couches nearest the window, where he had a view of the grounds as the sun set. It was beautiful. He really could get used to it, especially after a long day at work. He'd spent most of the week being bored out of his mind. It turned out shadowing the Minister in case anyone tried to harm her in any way was actually completely uneventful. Nobody even attempted to go near her in anything but a respectful manner, and Rabastan was terribly disappointed by that. He missed being an Auror and all of the drama and action that came with it. He knew he needed to hold his new position for other purposes, but if given the chance, he wouldn't hesitate to go back to his old job. He supposed coming home to a place like this with a wife as dazzling as Lilith might make his new career path that bit more bearable. He also supposed that he would be having regular sex at that point, which also might help to give him a brighter outlook on life. At the moment, he was highly frustrated and sick of the sight of his own hand. The winter wedding couldn't come soon enough. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. Lestrange notes: What the!? Lilith Readied herself for her evening with her fiancé. It was lovely to be engaged to someone like Rabastan although she would most certainly have liked to have fallen in love before an arranged marriage was set. It hadn't happened and there was no shame in that, the right person just didn't cross her path and the suitor she now had was quite possibly the best she could have hoped for with what was available in the wizarding world. Rodolphus clearly would have been the absolute top prize but he knew it. He had been married for a while, he had a single daughter and no sign of an heir, not even a gentle whisper on the breeze. He was unfaithful, which Lilith knew first hand having been between his legs beneath his desk, and she was willing to bet all that she had that he'd done more than what the two of them had done and with more women than she'd even have a chance at contemplating. That was the draw back to Rodolphus, but once he inherited everything in the Lestrange fortune, he would be the richest wizard anyone could possibly know, and that made for the infidelity.
Lucius Malfoy would have been another superb match, however his inability to create and heir with his wife was troublesome for the couple. Undoubtedly it worried Lucius' father also. Lucius was the only heir to the Malfoy fame, fortune, and influence, to lose that would be horrendous. Secretly it delighted Lilith. There were a few other attractive and wealthy first borns but they were all married, some lucky enough to have found love but of all the second born sons Rabastan was by far the best option, he was even better than quite a few first borns. There was a hierarchy in the world and a second born Lestrange son would trump the vast majority of all other males. Lilith was just lucky that he too had been single when her parents were looking for a suitor for her and she tried not to think about his own faithfulness. Lilith was remaining faithful to Rabastan, she kept herself pure enough unlike many others and she intended to not lay a hand on another male. For now. There was no telling what Rabastan would be like as a husband or how he would treat her. If she felt neglected then obviously her needs would have to be met elsewhere but she was remaining optimistic about he future husband.
Mitzteig knocked at Lilith's door and Lilith stood, knowing it was time to graciously greet her fiancé. She felt the strange sensation of butterflies take hold of her stomach as she always did around Rabastan, at least as soon as he was named her betrothed. It was a strange sensation and one that couldn't possibly be comprehended by those not having been in the same situation. She was excited and nervous all at the same time, Rabastan was nothing but a gentleman and amusing in all the right ways too, but it was still a man she was destined to marry without having picked him herself and as she walked the halls and descended the stairs, she wondered if Rabastan felt anything when he thought of her. She suspected not. Men were far more visual creatures and hopefully, in the dress she'd picked for this evening, he would be feeling all sorts of things about her. She only hoped he wouldn't take his needs and urges elsewhere but they were not married yet, they were not in love and the only promises to one another really was to be wed so if he was one to indulge in the bodies of other women, Lilith knew she shouldn't take it personally. Of course she still wanted to slaughter any woman alive that had touched Rabastan, but that would be most unbecoming of a woman and far too territorial and possessive two things she did not want to be.
The house elf mentioned something about Rabastan being in the lounge and that was the way that Lilith headed. Her home looked perfect, Mitzteig had the place looking positively spotless and gleaming. This home was very much her palace and Lilith was proud of it. There were still rooms here and there she was working on - or paying people to work on - and she would have this home absolutely perfect before she was married. She and Rabastan hadn't yet had the talk of where they would live but obviously there was no competition. This home was perfection, or at least it would be by the time she was done with it. They could happily raise their sons in this home and they'd be a perfect family. Two sons and a daughter. That would be most ideal to Lilith. As she stepped in to the lounge she saw Rabastan sitting and she began walking towards him, "Rabastan," she smiled a well practiced smile, not because she wasn't happy at his presence, she was indeed most pleased to see Rabastan, it was just a practiced smile as she knew how her face was looking with this smile, all her smiles in fact and this was very nearly her warmest, she didn't want to embarrass herself by seeming rude to Rabastan and she didn't want to insinuate in any way that she was the clingy sort. It was a fine line and one she'd been taught to walk in high heels, tight clothes and perfect posture. Tag: Rabastan Aramis Lestrange Words: 917 Notes: <3 Whoda thunk it?! Outfit: Grandma stylez

To The Better Couple Lilith entered not long after he had taken a seat, and Rabastan stood, dark eyes taking in her figure in that dress. She really was a goddess. He didn't know what he'd done to make his parents decide to set up a marriage with a woman like Lilith, but it must have been good, whatever it was. He had gotten incredibly lucky. His poor brother had always been the golden child, the favourite, except for when it came to marriage. He was sold off as a teenager to his unhinged best friend who refused to give him an heir and made him want to kill her at the best of times. And here was Rabastan with a stunning lady betrothed to him, one who would give him sons and hang from his arm in public like a rare diamond. He had never thanked his parents for their kindness towards him on the matter of marriage, but if Lilith gave him a son, he would have to make some sort of effort to let them know how much he appreciated their generosity and wiles. Of course, Lilith was marrying up, so she should probably have been the most thankful out of everyone involved. Her smile was warm... ish, as she stood before him, and he returned it with a much more genuine one, scooping the bunch of roses up from the coffee table and presenting them to her. "Lilith, you look incredible," he said, reaching for her hand and placing a gentle kiss on her engagement ring. "I brought flowers, but they pale in comparison to you," he grinned with the cheesy line, knowing he was being over the top, and hoping she took it lightly and didn't expect him to be a knight in shining armour all of the time. He could say the lines, but Rabastan was usually saying them in a tongue in cheek way, and the sooner Lilith got used to that, the better, otherwise things could get awkward. Then again, hadn't they already faced the most awkward parts of their union already? The first couple of months of being engaged to someone you didn't know were pretty uncomfortable, if they could get through that, they were flying, and they had survived that. Learning each other's ways was fun for Rabby, he liked figuring out who she was, and so far he liked what he had seen. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. Rabastan was charming to say the least. He was positively dream worthy really and Lilith knew she was incredibly lucky to have landed herself a fiancé like him and not anyone else that she knew of. There were a few respectable gentlemen in the wizarding world but honestly, none of them were royalty the way Rabastan was. He may not have been the heir to his families fortune but he was certainly a prince within the wizarding world and that would naturally make her a princess when they were married, and how could she ever pass up such a position? It was as though she was born to fill the role. It was just a shame the wizarding world didn't have such titles, perhaps she'd have a word with her parents and see if they couldn't start something. Of course the idea that Rodolphus of all people could one day be King of the wizarding world was a little terrifying, but if it meant she'd be a Princess, a genuine, actual Princess then she was all too welcoming of the idea, even King Rodolphus. She would be sister-in-law to the king and as he had no heir, once he was done Rabastan would be king. Of course Rodolphus could always find himself a new bride in that time, one that was able to conceive children for him, unlike the dreaded Black's who it seemed held nothing but failure in their wombs. Lilith was certain she'd give Rabastan plenty of children, an heir immediately. Her family had no issues with conception. The women were all fertile and she knew she'd be the same. They would have as many little Lestrange's running around their family home as they desired. They would be the envy of the Wizarding elite.
"Why thank you, Rabastan, you're so sweet." Her smile widened as he kissed her ring and presented her with the roses. She chuckled softly at his compliment, hoping he intended for it to be as cheesy as it was because if he hadn't then there were probably going to be issues in their marriage. Well probably not, she'd internalise absolutely everything. He was worth it. Or at least his bank account and status were worth it. She'd do just about anything for those! Sure she worked but it wasn't enough to support the lavish lifestyle she wanted to live. She enjoyed her work and wanted to take over Pur magazine some day but that would be in the future. First she needed to get married and start a family with the gentleman before her. "Mitzteig." She called. the house elf was only a couple of seconds away and peeked her head around the corner, entering the room and approaching Lilith while Lilith looked at her roses and gave them a gentle smell. Once the house elf was at her side, Lilith gave her the roses and the house el bowed, taking them away to out in a vase. She'd know well enough that Lilith would want them on display while they ate. "Come, have a seat." She said, opening up her arm, indicating to where he'd been sat before he'd crossed the room to greet her, "Dinner won't be far off." To The Better Couple The cheesiness either went right over her head or she just accepted it, but either way she seemed to enjoy the roses, and swiftly sent them off with her house elf to no doubt be put on display somewhere where they'd gather dust for a week and then be thrown away. She probably had flowers like them in every room of her house, but it didn't matter, it was a token of affection and he would always make an effort to make her feel thought of. They weren't married yet, but if they were to be happy together, efforts had to be made, no matter how small and seemingly silly. Lilith invited him to sit again, and he did, turning to face her and finding it impossible not to look at her boobs in that dress. He gave an apologetic chuckle, knowing he hadn't hid his glancing very well. Well he was was only human! To be able to keep his hands to himself was a bloody brilliant achievement when you thought about it, especially considering how she always dressed to impress. Being polite was hard. Oh, so hard. Really, truly, just... hard. "Sorry," he grinned. "You really do look amazing." Rabastan cleared his throat. "So how have you been? How was your day? Distract me." If she didn't, he'd be leaning across the very small gap that was between them and kissing her, and to hell with what she thought. Hearing her talk about work, or her family or whatever other things she had going on in her world of late would be helpful. Also a large table for dinner. Anything small and intimate would kill him off. How would she feel about being flung on a small table and having her dress ripped off? Probably not too good, but he thought she might worry more about the torn dress than anything else. He knew her views on sex before marriage, and that was all very respectable, Rabastan would honour that, but good Merlin their wedding night was going to be intense. Why wasn't she talking yet? She needed to end his torture before it started to show in more ways than just roaming eyes and awkward laughter. His pants weren't exactly loose as it was, there'd be no hiding anything should the need... arise. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. It was hard not to notice Rabastan's little glance south of her neck line but Lilith pretended as though she didn't notice. When his eyes came back up again she took a deep breath and laughed it out on a light chuckle as he flattered her once more. He was charming, positively charming, but so was his brother and the kind of marriage his brother had was not something Lilith wanted to replicate, on the contrary, she rather hoped that what she and Rabastan had would be a lot stronger than that of the Black-Lestrange merger. She hoped it would be more faithful too but only time would tell. Lilith had always known that she would be the first of her sisters to be married off and if she made a good enough marriage then perhaps her sisters wouldn't need marrying off at all. It was all rather hard to know in their society, it was never really known just how many heirs there were or that would survive into adulthood, especially with the war currently going on. Lilith didn't much like to think of such things. They were a wealthy family, she was marrying into the most wealthy their was. Lyra and Livia would be fine in life and, hopefully, they would marry for love. Lilith truly hoped that for them both.
Lilith was sat beside Rabastan as Mitzteig brought in a couple of glasses of champagne and set the silver tray on the side table next to Lilith who picked up the two glasses, wondering just what she could do in order to "distract" him from her. She rather liked that he was in need of distracting but it rather put her on the spot. She almost asked, sarcastically of course, if he wanted her to juggle for him, of course she didn't want to scare him off too soon, if he took her seriously then that would just be entirely awkward for she had no idea how to juggle. Horse riding, yes, juggling, no. Horse riding didn't seem like much of an option right now. She wasn't dressed for it and she rather thought that might be all the more distracting so she had to think a moment. "My day was uneventful." She said, holding out a drink for him, "A magazine's headquarters are hardly the place to find intelligent conversation or interesting anecdotes." She was lightly teasing at the inadequacy of her work peers. She could have gone in to quite a lot of detail about just how uneventful her day had been and it would have been entirely boring and distracting, but she'd rather prefer her fiancé to stay conscious for their romantic evening. Boring him to death was not an option. "I'm sure you have far more thrilling tails from your days work." Such as saving the Minister from a nasty paper cut, she thought, but she kept that thought to herself. She didn't need to be a complete sarcastic cow already though it was entirely tempting, and perhaps a little too bitchy. Tag: Rabastan Aramis Lestrange Words: 509 Notes: <3 Outfit: Grandma stylez

To The Better Couple Rabastan took the drink from her and kept his gaze either on Lilith's beautiful face as she spoke, or on the coffee table. It really was the safest thing to do if he didn't want to stare at her inappropriately. Not that it was actually all that inappropriate, they were to be married, if he were going to stare at any woman like she was a piece of meat, then it should be Lilith. She really didn't need to dress in such a provocative way, though. Rabby didn't disapprove at all. Nope. Not one bit. But it was cruel to so brazenly display what he couldn't yet have. Sure they could mess around a bit, but it wasn't enough. It wasn't the same as full on screwing each other's brains out - something he would never refer to it as out loud to Lilith, since he figured she was far too much of a lady, and would probably loathe the term. There were so many things to be considerate about around her, Rabastan was used to being around people who had been raised well, he was, he was one of those people, but he had also had women in his bed who were so far from ladylike they didn't even know what it looked like, and that was fun. Having to treat someone so sensitively when you were used to being rougher was hard. Really hard. Oh, so hard. Hard, hard, hard. "There must be something interesting about it if you choose to do it every day," he said shrewdly. Did she think he wasn't the type to appreciate shallow conversation or idle gossip like she dealt with in her job every day? Rabastan liked to think of himself as a good listener, he could handle most topics pretty well. She tried to shift the conversation onto his day and how his job must surely entail some thrilling moments. Rabby cleared his throat. He could tell her some stories, yes. His job so far as one of the Minister's Guard had been mostly uneventful, but there had been a few moments where his Auror skills had been required. He wasn't allowed to speak of such things, though, not if he valued his job, which he did very much so long as it was useful to the Dark Lord. Instead, he opted for a lighter tale. "Oh, yes," he nodded, biting his lip to quell his smile. "I got to see old Sybil spilling sauce on her cheap suit today at lunch. Gripping stuff." He laughed, sipping his drink and eyeing Lilith again for a moment. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. Lestrange notes: <3 template by izzy[googlefont="Nothing You Could Do"]

Lilith knew things with Rabastan would become more comfortable. Their engagement was a drawn out process so as to allow her brother time to marry and settle into his new role as dutiful husband. She didn't want her wedding to overshadow her brothers and so she'd requested a date in the winter. Rabastan had agreed and it was set for December. That was plenty of time for their family to settle and fully focus on her wedding. The Burke-Lestrange wedding was to be the wedding of the year, it was only fair to allow Loosh and Clementine their little time in the sun before being outdone. Sure there would be other weddings in-between, Summer was wedding season after all, but no one would out-do either wedding, Lilith was certain of it.
There wasn't anything for Lilith to say. She just kept to her coy little smile and figured she'd let Rabastan get to know her more playful side, after all she wasn't exactly forth coming with her sense of humour and nor was she going to change just for him. Lilith liked to be proper and as such she'd made sure to be the perfect pureblooded daughter which had worked out stupendously. She was engaged to Rabastan Lestrange, the most eligible bachelor around, and it was all thanks to her lessons on etiquette and manners.
The idea of Sybil spilling something on herself was not far fetched. She seemed so very new to money and it was expected by Lilith that she didn't have all the etiquettes a lady such as herself had been raised with. She undoubtedly thought she was fine as she was, believed herself to be passing through high society withe awe, but it was not so. Those born to high society could see through any imposter, Minister or not, Sybil was no exception. "I'm sure you enjoyed yourself far more than you're letting on." She smirked shifting a little closer to Rabastan, moving closer and closer as their conversation went on, sipping occasionally at her drink before her house elf, Mitzteig, announced that dinner was ready. To The Better Couple Rabastan smirked as she shifted closer to him on the sofa. "No, I'm usually pretty forward about how much I'm enjoying myself," he told her, his face turned down to hers as he marvelled at her beauty; the curve of her ruby lips, the delicate line of her jaw, the perfect skin at her throat, which his tongue longed to trace. He was relieved when her house elf announced that dinner was ready - well, mostly relieved, there was definite disappointment there, too - and he took her hand in his, standing and helping her to her feet. "Shall we?" Ever the dashing gentleman, he escorted her to the dining room, which was set out beautifully, as always. He never expected anything less than perfection from Lilith, because she never provided anything less. She was a woman who had the highest of tastes and desires, and if they weren't met, he would dread to think what the consequences might be. He was yet to see that side of her, but Rabastan was confident that he could provide her with the kind of standards she was accustomed to. He pulled her chair out for her, and then took his own seat beside her, pleased that they were sitting close, close enough to touch. Close enough for him to be able to lean over and kiss her if he wanted. Close enough for him to be able to throw her on the table and tear that dress to shreds. He swallowed hard and took a gulp of his drink, soft piano music drifting through the room, elegant and light, just like Lilith herself. "You always outdo yourself," he smiled at her, aware that in actual fact, she had done none of this, and it was all down to the blood, sweat, and tears of her house elf, but that didn't matter. House elves didn't matter. This fine evening was all at Lilith's request, and therefore she got credit for every last element of it, including the divine food that sat in front of them. It was enough to distract Rabastan for a short while, and though he still had thoughts of eating his food off of Lilith's boobs instead of the fine china it sat upon, it was a duller desire than it had been minutes earlier, and he had a small amount of relief from his urges. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. Rabastan was exactly what Lilith had hoped for ever since she was a little girl that had found out she'd have next to no say in who her husband would be. She had quite literally dreamt of a guy with handsome looks and a smile that made her heart leap a thousand beats. His manners had been exceptional and he'd treated her like a queen. Admittedly her dream mad had dazzling blue eyes and was not as ... heavily browed as Rabastan. Still he was the perfect gentleman, or as perfect as she had come to expect through all her teachings. There were many lessons to learn and she tried her very best to live up to what was expected of her. While many presumed that she was just a pretty face, Lilith kept hidden her enjoyment for more than just being an arm piece for a husband. She had pursued a career for a hobby. She enjoyed riding and training her horses. Like many other women of her status there was a lot more going on beneath the surface yet she refused to let too much of her self out. She had to let just the right bits out to charm and entice her future husband and from what she'd seen of Rabastan's little glances this evening, she was doing wonderfully.
Lilith sat at the dining table, a smaller room than the grand hall with the absolutely superb dining table to host galas, keen to talk more with Rabastan and eager to move on from the subject of work. Conversation was ever so easy with him despite not having spent a lot of time with one another. She supposed that would change now that they were well into March, their wedding set for the end of the year. "Thank you, Rabastan." She smiled, flattered by his charm and his compliment. It hadn't been all that difficult to arrange the evening really. She was rather talented at hosting people for the night be the numbers small or large. She had a natural talent for entertaining and seeing to it that her guests were throughly entertained. “When we host our own dinner parties as man and wife I'll share the wondrous praise we shall receive, with you. Would you like credit for the teacups or the dinner wear?" She smiled coyly, she had no intentions of sharing any such praise and if anything she intended on a little modesty, something that suited her well, but there was nothing more fun than a little banter with her fiancé as their starters of Cauliflower Romanesco was brought in by her ever diligent elf. To The Better Couple The food was delightful, as expected, and though they were still new to each other, still learning, Rabastan was feeling more and more comfortable as time passed. He was an easy man to deal with in general. Fair, laid-back, good sense of humour. There was really nothing to worry about with him unless you said or did something to piss him off, then he would smash your face into the table with no warning and beat you senseless, but Lilith was never going to be someone he would raise a hand to. She was perfection. He knew she wouldn't be able to keep it up all of the time, there had to be a side to her that was completely undone, relaxed, off duty, messy even. A side that was kissed with sleep and confusion, a side that was vulnerable and needed help or extra care, a side that was angry and out of control. She seemed like a woman who would even shout at you in a prim and proper way, and though it amused him, he knew it couldn't be true. And he couldn't wait to see her undone. She was easy to talk to, polite, though there was always an undercurrent of subtle humour about her, and he found it easier to pick up on the longer he spent in her company. His glass was empty yet again, and though he wasn't even close to inebriated, he felt light and cheery as he flirted with her across the table, his dark gaze drinking her in without shame. "You know how to keep a man happy," he smiled, referring to the wonderful food she was plying him with, but thinking she wouldn't falter in other areas, either. "I cannot wait to see what is for dessert." What he wanted for dessert more than anything was Lilith, herself. He admired her openly, eyes moving over her lips, her neck, that dress, which clung to every curve in a way that was incredibly unfair on him. Eventually his gaze dropped to the table and he bit his lip to try and suppress a naughty smile, though it showed anyway. He was losing control with every drink that he had, and soon enough he would be kissing her or more, and likely offending her and being sent home with his tail between his legs. He was already thinking of what flowers and gifts he would send in apology for getting too frisky with her. It was inevitable. _______________________ tag: Lilith A. C. The evening was certainly going well although not nearly as comfortable as Lilith would have liked, but that would come with time. She would continue to be herself, continue to talk with Rabastan often and be as involved in his life as possible without becoming overbearing. She was his fiancee and they had to get to know one another a lot better now that their wedding would be this year. Nine months was all they had left before their nuptials and Lilith was eager to know her future husband well before the exchanged rings and vows. She wanted to know him really well and just because she wasn't intending on sleeping with her future husband before their wedding, didn't mean she wasn't open to a little fun here and there. She wouldn't encourage this sort of thing every time they were together, but certainly when they were alone and the mood called for it, she might just let loose a little. After all if she couldn't let loose for her fiance once in a while, then who could she let loose for? "I'm pleased you're enjoying yourself." She smiled. It wasn't a large smile, it was only enough to show that she was indeed smiling, however it was genuine, which was a rarity for Lilith.
Lilith moved her hand to Rabastan's, stroking it once, feeling a metaphorical spark as she thought about what she was going to do next. She tilted her head ever so slightly, a coy smile gracing her elegant features, "I intend to make this an evening you'll remember for quite some time." Her index finger was running over his hand in a figure of eight before she took her hand back and pushed her chair back silently. In a way that was most certainly not lady-like at all, Lilith took leave of the table in a way, sinking beneath it, her dress magically fitted to allow for movement, and approaching Rabastan. She ran her hands over his legs, then back down to his knees before running them up along the inside of his thighs, parting his legs enough to give her the space she needed beneath the table. There wasn't a lot of room but Lilith may have been in a very similar position before, beneath a desk with her fiance's brother sat in the chair in front of her. She knew well how to manoeuvre the belt, the button, the zip. She did what she knew how although it was not something expected of her by those that thought they knew her. Lilith was aware of how she came across, she worked hard on maintaining her appearance as a perfect woman and for her fiance this small favour was a part of it. As Lilith reemerged from beneath the table, taking her seat once more and making certain she still appeared ever the lady using a napkin to dab the corner of her mouth, at least one thing was certain in Lilith's mind, she was indeed giving Rabastan an evening he'd not forget.
