PERSONALITY Boggart: The dark. Izzy is terrified of the dark, her overactive imagination going wild. Mirror of Erised: Puppies. Just hundreds of puppies. She's so sick of looking at cats and owls around the castle. Just to be buried in a horde of happy, waggy puppies. Bliss! Patronus: Golden Retriever - Izzy cannot produce a patronus yet. Izzy is a little Irish darling. Friendly, kind, caring, witty, pretty, intelligent, and just lovely. She makes friends easily, and can happily chat to people from all walks of life and find common ground. She knows how to charm people in such a genuine way that nobody ever stops to wonder whether she's just putting it on. You shouldn't wonder. It is genuine. 98% of the time. She loves to party and can be found dancing on tables even if nobody else is, and will make her own music if there isn't any, singing like a bird. She does great in her lessons at school, and is part of the Frog Choir, as well as on her Quidditch team. What's not to love? Well... What you won't realise about her is that Izzy is very manipulative. She's known for her indecisiveness, but most wouldn't guess that it's a bit forced. You see, why on earth would she choose one good thing, when if she just dithers sweetly for long enough, she'll get both? It never fails, especially with her dad. Last year they had a choice of going to Lapland for Christmas, or to a beach for a break from the cold. Izzy just "couldn't decide", they both sounded so wonderful. In the end they ended up going to Lapland for Christmas week, and spending new year on a beach. It all worked out perfectly, and nobody complained. Manipulation is definitely one of her strongest talents. She is also kind of shallow. She prizes looks above anything else, and though she'll probably grow out of it - Merlin knows she's got the intelligence to evolve past it - she likes what she likes, and will only date guys who she finds really hot. She's not one of those girls that's hooking up with every guy who looks her way, she has some self respect, but she's already had a couple of boyfriends, and can't see herself settling down properly until her mid-twenties. You do the maths. She loves romance, and to be treated like a princess. Sing to her, she'll be putty in your hands, dance with her; same. Write her a poem, she'll be starry eyed, and she's a sucker for flowers and chocolates and all of the cliche romantic things. Sounds like a dream, doesn't she? She was. She was the sweetest baby girl in the world, especially compared to her two older siblings. Denny was a ball of energy that Jane and Billy Hart couldn't keep up with, and Sky was very demanding and clingy as a tot. Izzy had no such troubles, she was content to just go along with what the family were doing. She fitted in seamlessly with her siblings and their routine, though it was probably to do with the fact that 1) she had no choice, and 2) they were only one and three years older than her, so they all had very similar needs throughout the majority of their childhood. Izzy was a lovely sister, friendly and adaptable, she would muck in with whatever games Denny and Sky wanted to play. It made it easier for her anyway, because she didn't have to make any decisions if she just joined in with them. She hated making decisions. From a pureblood family, Izzy's dad worked hard to give his kids everything they needed. On the Wizengamot at the Ministry, he had a successful career, and when paired with her mum's job as a magical vet, they had money for all the luxuries they might want or need over the years. A nice house, regular holidays, lots of toys. Izzy was a little bit spoiled, but she didn't like for people to think of her that way, and so she began to learn to manipulate to get what she wanted in a way where people would never see her as a demanding brat. She was far from a brat, but she did so like all of the nice things her da could get for her. Her Hogwarts letter came when she was old enough, and she was sorted into Slytherin, her mother's old house. It was a bit of a surprise, she had expected Ravenclaw for her love of reading and intelligence, but no. The hat decided to test the more hidden sides of her personality. In retrospect it might have been a bid to help her grow through her immature manipulations but she'll never look at it that way. Not yet, at least. She joined the Frog Choir as soon as she could, having lots of friends, and enjoying being sociable and joining clubs. She joined the Slytherin Quidditch team in her fourth year, and has been one of their Chasers ever since. She loves school, it's like having a sleepover with all of your best friends every day, whilst learning the coolest spells, and living in an actual castle like a princess.
