PERSONALITY Boggart: Professor Bones yelling at him and kicking him off the Hufflepuff Quidditch team Mirror of Erised: Surrounded by puppies. Patronus: Labrador. Getting on the house quidditch team. Cannot produce a patronus. For some reason people seem to see Eli as slow and as an individual that misses the point a lot. The thing is, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Brawn and brains? You damn well better believe it! Eli is exceptionally smart and learns new things extremely fast. He doesn't talk a lot which is why people tend to think he's not all that bright, and when he does talk he tends to talk about things that interest him rather than keeping to the flow of a conversation. He's a straightforward kind of guy when you get to know him and he'll never mess you around. He has a habit of using magic for absolutely everything in his life that he can think of because he's lazy as hell. Knowing that laziness is a trait that's going to someday leave him with a pudding belly (as will all the eating he just loves to do) Eli trains like crazy having discovered the come-and-go room in his third year after watching a snogging seventh year couple sneak away in there. Eli has patience pouring out the wazoo. He's pretty easy going and has never before lost his temper, not even as a toddler. He's set in his ways, stands strong to his beliefs and can rarely be swayed but he thinks that's a good thing. He won't say anything incriminating against himself or others (if he can help it) and he'll often stay out of any arguments and instead just try and defuse a situation rather than taking sides. Being on the quidditch team Eli's found a fair bit of interest from girls, and not only the ones from his own house. Girls very much like his body and face as well as the fact that he's interesting and has all the potential to go pro once he graduates. He supposes a lot of girls like the idea of being with someone successful, or at least the potential to be successful, but Eli has no desires to settle down. He's not sure yet, but he's pretty sure his parents will arrange a marriage for him when he's older, much like they did with his big brother. Eli just hopes to fall in love and get married way before they can get involved, but not yet, he's still too young for that yet and feels he needs to plat the field a little more. Male cousin, pureblood. Eli was born to Orpheus and Selma Bulstrode. He was the last child and a complete surprise for the couple, born not even a year after his youngest sister. Thankfully for the couple Eli was content with watching the world around him and he had a fabulous manner. He was easy going, relaxed, and at one point they were fairly certain an idiot. Everyone in his life overlooked him for he'd be quiet and when he did speak he would talk of unrelated matters. He seemed a little away with the fairies to put it nicely. Eli's parents started to grow concerned when their son was eight years old and hadn't shown any signs of magic, despite their attempts to coax it out of him. His favourite toys were set alight, his pets were set free, he had things thrown at his head but it didn't matter, he wasn't ready to reveal his magic yet. When his Hogwarts letter arrived his parents were very surprised. They'd written their youngest child off as a squib, still they took him to Diagon Alley to get a wand, prepared for nothing to happen. Nothing after nothing after nothing. Every wand he kept trying did nothing, until Mr Ollivander held out a aspen wand. Eli took it and instantly felt a warmth spreading through his body. He especially felt the warmth down his leg. The warm feeling had relaxed him and his bladder a little too much. His father raised his wand in anger but as quick as a flash Eli disarmed him. Eli never got in trouble for disarming his father but he did get a stern warning never to turn his wand on his old man again. Eli paid little to no attention and his parents just assumed it was because he was a moron. Once he was at Hogwarts though, Eli proved to be anything but. He did outstandingly well in all his classes, getting O's in nearly everything he did. In his fourth year he joined the house Quidditch team as a beater. The boy that had never lost his temper in his life was smashing bludgers around? Why!? Because it was insanely fun! Eli loved quidditch and he loved the position of beater.
