PERSONALITY Boggart: A nurse coming towards her with a giant needle. Huge! The size of a house brick! Wyn is terrified of needles, and hates the hospital wing, even though needles are pretty much redundant when you can get fixed up with magic. Mirror of Erised: Herself, sitting at a table in a book shop, piles of her own novels beside her, while a queue of fans line up around the block, waiting to get her autograph. Patronus: Bumble Bee - Wynnie can't produce a Patronus yet, but if she could - and when she can - it will be a bee, or a swarm of bees, I guess we'll see. Wyn is a little firecracker. The Sorting hat almost put her in Gryffindor, only she's kinder than she is reckless, and fairer than she is bold. She is a very loyal individual, who will fight for a million causes without ever getting fed up or deflated. Her drive is endless, and her compassion for others is admirable. She loves a lost cause, or an underdog, and can't seem to help but get sucked in by them, wanting to make things better or help in whatever way she can. She can be a bit of a pain in some people's arse because of this, some call her a do-gooder, or a busy body, but clearly they just wish they were as competent and driven as Wynnie is. She's not all Little Miss Helpful all the time. Wyn can really let her hair down when she wants to. She is a sucker for anything mysterious, and that guy who looks like he might devour your soul over there? Yeah, she's going to talk to him, flirt with him, and probably make out with him. Her friends sometimes tell her that her pull to all things dangerous and mysterious will be the death of her, but she can't help herself. If there's something dark or hidden, she has to delve in. She writes for the Hogwarts Herald, enjoying the gossip, and the opportunity to write about all of the causes she is passionate about, and there are a lot of them, so she has a full page to herself every single week, where she writes pretty competently about a myriad of different subjects, proving herself a jack of all trades and fascinatingly eclectic. Wynnie also loves Quidditch, she plays as Chaser on the Hufflepuff team, but it's not her main passion. She will still get in the spirit of the game, and loves the parties after big games, where she can really let loose with her peers and forget about all of the more stressful things she spends her days thinking about. Wyn is really smart, and writing is her main passion. She has written a few short stories for the school newspaper, and has completed a few mystery and horror novels of her own, which she would love to have published one day. That's her goal, and she's ambitious enough to see it through. Avrianne was a pureblood who had turned her back on her entire family (almost) to be with a muggle man, and Richard knew how lucky he was. She was so certain and confident in her parents love, that she still idolises it to this day, and little Wyn grew up not spoiled, but cherished, and free. She already had a five year old brother, Tilden, when she made her entrance into the world, and she was the last child for the little Toots clan. Happy with two, one of each, her parents gave their kids lots of love and attention, and it was a good job, because little Wynnie was curious and impossible to hold back. As soon as she could walk (before her first birthday), she was running rings around her parents and big brother, and continued to do so. She would spend her entire day chatting away, learning, observing, copying, making her own words up, making her own stories up, making everything up if she couldn't think of the real words. She was tiny, a little blonde bubble of energy, just bursting with eagerness to get out into the world. She was magical, of course, her mother's genes impossible to squash, and her father took it all in his stride. Even when she was four and had a mighty meltdown because she didn't want to get out of the bath, he kept his cool as a jet of water shot out of the cold tap, soaking the entire room. He was always a calming influence on Wyn, and to this day, her dad is her safe place. She spent her first six years discovering her magic, and playing happily with her big brother. Til would teach her all kinds of things, and she loved it. It got even better when Til went off to Hogwarts, because despite the loneliness - which she hated - he would come home on the holidays, and teach her about all of the amazing things he was learning at school. Wyn was fascinated, and it gave her a bit of a head start when it was time for her to go to Hogwarts herself. She went off confidently, being sorted into Hufflepuff because, well, she had too many qualities from each house to really belong to any of them. She was brave and outgoing, she was clever and imaginative, and she was driven and passionate, as well as hard working and fair. Hufflepuff was really the only place for her, and she was happy with that. She made friends easily, and was a good judge of character when it came to knowing who to let in and who to keep at arms length. She joined the Quidditch team in her fourth year as a Chaser, which she really enjoys, and has been writing weekly for the Hogwarts Herald since her second year. Wyn is coming to the end of her fifth year, and is pretty confident that she's going to do well in her O.W.L's. In her free time, she likes to write novels, and hopes to one day be an author.
