PERSONALITY Boggart: Herself, stuck in a state of having visions of her family dying over and over. She would be insane, curled in a ball on the floor, shaking and screaming. Endless. Mirror of Erised: Her jewellery business has really taken off. She's selling pieces worldwide, and with her modelling status, she is a superstar. Patronus: Rabbit - Nelle's happy place is when she's at home being creative. Sitting making gorgeous little pieces of jewellery brings her so much contentment, and the first time she ever sold a piece - a beautiful emerald hued necklace - she was beyond thrilled, and it gave her the biggest boost and encouragement to carry on. That is her happy feeling that she clings to. Noelle is very much a creative being, she's crafty - of hand and of mind - and has an eye for beauty that really helps her with her work. As a model, she does her job brilliantly, able to pull off so many different looks, and she even helps to style herself for shoots sometimes, suggesting items of clothing or hairstyles that she thinks will look good. She not often wrong about these kinds of things. A former Ravenclaw, she is smart as anything, and probably a little bit too logical. She is intuitively clever, especially in a physical sense, you can ask her to build something and she will get it spot on without any instructions. She loves art, and to make jewellery to sell, and she's a talented young lady. She knows it, too. You see, Nelle is a Seer. She has visions of what might be, and though it took her a long time to realise that what she sees is not set in stone, and the future is easily moulded to people's will, she has seen things about her own life that she actually likes. She saw herself selling her creations and being quite successful with it, and so this is what she works towards. She also sees unpleasant things, but life is so changeable that she never takes it too seriously unless its something particularly harrowing that she sees. She can be quite flippant about her visions, and is private about them, too. She won't be judged as a loon or a crackpot, and though her family and close friends know, she's happy to act like they're not there at all, though they are a huge part of her. Nelle is also a bit of a tough nut. As much as she can come across as very girly with her modelling and jewellery making, she is incredibly blunt and direct, won't be messed around, and has a habit of putting her foot in her mouth quite a lot. She lacks tact sometimes, and if she doesn't like you, or you annoy her, you will be told to piss off in no uncertain terms, and then she'll forget she's ever spoken to you and get on with her life. She definitely has a sting in her tail, and she doesn't let go of things that piss her off easily. It can take her weeks to get over an annoyance or argument. That being said, Noelle loves fiercely. She doesn't love many. She reserves her real feelings for those that she deems worthy, but to her family, and friends that make the cut, she can be smothering and intense with that love. She will kill for you. Like, literally. She never has, but she wouldn't hesitate. She'd regret it later, too, but don't tell anyone. She feels things very deeply, and doesn't want to control her emotions around those she's close to. Anyone else gets the tough tongue and the "I'm invincible" act. Romantic partners especially get the tough act at first, and it takes her a while to warm up and let her barriers down, but she's a keeper underneath it all. Honestly. She's quite funny, too. You just gotta get in there. HISTORY Mother: Amarina Fawley (nee MacMillan), 58 years old, pureblood, Hufflepuff alumni. Father: Farquhar Fawley, 57 years old, pureblood, Ravenclaw alumni. Gabriel Ollivander, soon-to-be brother-in-law Kai William Baddock, 23, best friend, soul-destroyingly in love with him Noelle is the youngest of the Fawley girls, and was treated as "the baby" of the family by everyone. Her sisters were good to her, and looked after her, taught her things, played with her. She had a pretty great family life. Even Aunties and Uncles and cousins babied her, but once she reached the age of around six, she wasn't a fan of it. She didn't want to be the baby, she wanted to be seen as a big girl who was growing up and was intelligent and worthy of a more mature title. She came from a pureblood family with plenty of money, Sacred 28, in fact, though the Fawley's were lovely people who treated everyone equally, and so Nelle grew up to do the same. Ever since she was a toddler, Nelle would see things. Flashes of images in her head that she didn't understand. She would see a tall blonde girl sitting at a street stall in Diagon Alley, smiling. She would see a different tall blonde with a baby in her belly. She would see all kinds of things that she couldn't untangle, but she got better at it as she got older. Her parents told her that she had a gift, and that she should keep it just for family because not everyone would understand it, and Noelle took her parents advice. The things that she saw were often about her family, and she didn't think anyone else needed to know about the visions. A very private little girl because of this, Nelle couldn't control her visions, and sometimes became very overwhelmed by them. Her family were a great support, but they didn't fully understand what it was like. Nobody did. Seeing things, sometimes bad things, happen to your family wasn't always fun. She tried to block it out, but learned that there was no point, the visions came regardless, but over the years Nelle developed a thick skin, and eventually stopped getting so upset and bothered by what she saw. She had her best friend Kai, the boy who lived down the street, to help her laugh her worries off, and distract her. The two became firm friends as toddlers and were practically inseparable from then on, one always in the other's house, coming over for tea, even going on day trips and weekends away with the other's family. They were thick as thieves, joined at the hip, and he was the ultimate distraction for her from her worries. As long as Kai was around, Nelle was happy. Always happy. He was her safe place. At Hogwarts, she was sorted into Ravenclaw for her sharp mind and sharper tongue, and she flourished there, Kai being placed there with her to make it that bit more perfect. She made friends from all walks of life, and her love of being creative and artistic had free reign in the evenings when she would do little craft projects and make things for fun. She would buy little jewels and other supplies on Hogsmeade weekends and began to make jewellery, which her friends all loved. Noelle was encouraged by this, and decided to take it a step further, placing little enchantments on the jewellery, so that she could say "this one will bring you luck" or "this one encourages romance to come into your life". It was cute and fun, and she always seemed to know exactly what type of charm her friends needed at any given time (not at all to do with her being a Seer and cheating. *coughcough*) She took a particular shine to Divination, and her professor was ecstatic to discover that she had a Seer in her class. Nelle learned a lot and had private lessons to try and better understand her gift, and learn to control it a bit better. By the time she graduated, she could handle her gift a lot better, and had learned that just because she had a vision of something, didn't mean it would definitely happen. The future can be changed very easily, and so she felt a lot lighter as she entered the adult world with the comfort that bad things could be stopped, and the good things she saw could be encouraged and nurtured. Like that little vision of herself sitting at a street stall. She had that vision so many times over the years and eventually realised that it was herself, and she was selling her enchanted jewellery. She wouldn't be ignoring that one. It was her passion, and so she immediately got her dad to help her set up a stall of her own in Diagon Alley, and she adores her job, though it doesn't make her much money. That's alright, though, because one day while she was at work, a woman approached her and asked her if she had ever done modelling. Nelle had laughed - a lot - and said her big sister Freya was more the model type. The woman had disagreed and insisted that Noelle go for a test shoot. It turned out the woman knew what she was on about, and Nelle was a natural in front of the camera. Modelling, huh? It paid handsomely, too. She soon jumped head first into her second career, and found it almost as creatively fulfilling as making jewellery. So now she works as a model, and in her free time, runs her stall, which she hopes will one day be a proper shop. She is still inseparable from Kai, and people expect to see them together the majority of the time, finding it unusual if they do things separately. The thing is, they are doing things separately a bit more these days, because Kai is engaged, and has to spend time with his fiance rather than Noelle. She's supposed to be fine with this, Maggie is a lovely girl, she really can't fault her, but that only makes it worse. You see, at some point during their teens, hormones flying, Nelle fell in love with Kai. Every time she looked at him, she felt strange butterflies in her stomach, she found him more and more attractive as he changed from a boy to a man. She tried to ignore it, but it kept on getting stronger. She still tries to deny it to this day, because she needs him. She needs her best friend, and risking losing him forever by telling him how she feels, or dating him and then ending up in a messy break up is just not something she can bring herself to do. It's torture. She can't look at him without wanting to kiss him, and they actually did kiss last year. Granted, they were drunk in a cloak cupboard, but it happened, and it was electric, and she remembers every agonising detail of it. Kai asked Maggie to marry him not long after that, and Noelle threw herself into sleeping around to try and forget her feelings.
