Nestled between both Narcissa and Lucius, dear little Aurora was growing increasingly unsettled. She began to fuss about not being able to see anything and quite honestly, there was nothing to see. The bonfire had been lit and they'd seen that, now all there was left to see were the fireworks. Lucius had checked with the Healer if it was okay for Narcissa to be at such an event and he was assured that the fireworks wouldn't create any unnecessary stress for either Narcissa or the baby. But how did they know that for certain? Lucius was second guessing everything the healer told him. He'd done research on pregnancies some time around their third miscarriage. He was by no means an expert but in his mind he felt that he had to be prepared for absolutely everything. Narcissa was, and would always be, his priority. His child meant the world to Lucius, but not at the expense of Narcissa. Lucius had thought that if their next pregnancy didn't take then he'd have no option but to divorce Narcissa in favour of finding a new wife who could give him a child, but Lucius had never expected Narcissa to fall pregnant so soon and now that he was, he couldn't ever imagine leaving her. If they lost this child then no more. He couldn't put her through it all again. They barely made it through after Carina. He'd nearly lost his wife after losing his child. He hadn't talked to Narcissa about it and he wasn't sure if it was a conversation they should have while she was pregnant or wait and see how things progressed. Each time they'd had no warning as to Narcissa's impending miscarriages, Lucius believed this time would be no different. He wanted to believe that Narcissa would carry their child to term and that they would be blessed by all that was magical with a healthy child, a son preferably, but he honestly didn't care too much at this stage.
Aurora was an interesting child. Lucius wasn't sure on how to raise a child quite yet for he'd never been fortunate enough to have one, but it seemed Rodolphus, as much as he loved his daughter, was wiling to let her get away with anything she desired. Having been raised with a sister Lucius knew of a few of the things his sister had to go through, the things she was expected to know and everything that was expected of her. Aurora seemed to be lacking. She seemed to know enough to get by, but not enough to be perfect, as his sister had been and as he was certain Narcissa and her sisters would have been. Lucius was never Bellatrix's biggest fan, even more so in her more formidable years, but she had been easy enough to get along with, someone Lucius was able to consider a friend, until she seemed to stop caring about anything other than the cause. Lucius believed just as much as the next reasonable pureblood in their cause, however Bellatrix seemed to live for it and the Dark Lord and that was all. She had a husband and child she was willing to neglect. Their whole purpose was to purify the world. She had been needed to do that on both sides. She was to be a fighter and a mother. Now she was neither, she was just gone. "Not at all." He smiled, so very proud of his wife. She was going to be an absolutely amazing mother. "I'll be back in a moment." He said, with a little wink to the pair before he headed off through the crowd in search of some sparklers, giving Narcissa and Aurora a little time to bond.

It was quite an evening. Lucius wasn't sure they were ever going to make it out the door but Narcissa had surprised him. Honestly, the longer she took to decide, the more it seemed unlikely that they would make it this year. If they didn't attend the annual event at the Lestranges home then they'd be asked why. They almost didn't make it to the wedding but somehow they'd gone, got through it, and made it home all in one piece. That wasn't to say Lucius was relaxing around Narcissa's pregnancy, she was still pregnant which was fantastic, she'd made it farther than a couple of their pregnancies, but every day was like holding his breath, and every night it was like he was holding his breath too. He woke several times a night, checking his wife. Occasionally he even thought he heard Narcissa waking and his heart would both leap into his throat and sink to the bottom of his stomach. He'd feel nauseous but expectant of something bad all at once, and yet nothing happened. Sometimes she would stir, sometimes it was just all in his head. Regardless he was pleased nothing bad had happened yet. Or at all. He was at least attempting to think more positively now that Narcissa was into her third month of pregnancy.
Arriving in time for Adolphus' speech Lucius was pleased they hadn't missed too much. He'd checked with Narcissa before they'd come out, just to be polite, just to be sure, that he could have a few drinks with the guys. Nothing serious, no getting sloshed, but he was certainly allowed to get a little more than tipsy. He wanted to really let loose, get rid of all the stress he was carrying, but he couldn't, not yet. He had to be there for Narcissa. As he watched the other's dancing, Narcissa beautiful and positively glowing beside him, she asked if she looked fat. Lucius knew from experience with a former girlfriend than to answer that too quickly and he'd learnt from another that he needed to answer. His features softened as he looked at his wife, drinking in her radiance, a soft smile forming on his lips. "Not in the slightest. More radiant than ever, my love." He told her. She was far from fat, not even slightly chunky. He kissed the top of her head, careful not to disturb her hair as he did so. His hand slipped across the small of her back as he did so, wishing he could reassure her more but it was not the place. She was pregnant and it was not yet a subject he could talk freely about, perhaps even ever.
The evening carried on and as per usual, Lucius was incredibly delicate with his wife. He tried not to make it too obvious, he was always an attentive husband, something he was mocked for by his friends, but he escorted his wife everywhere but the toilets, only socialising with others with his wife at his side. When she began complaining of an unusual sight. Lucius took a deep breath in and let it out, not so quietly. "You know Rod," He said, "Always trying to see what he can get away with, always testing his boundaries with his parents and society." Lucius took a final sip of his champagne as he saw a waiter coming by. He slipped the glass onto the tray, "Glen Scotia. Neat." He told the waiter with a nod, sending the guy on his way. "Just pay her no attention." He asked, quirking a single perfect brow just a little. He wanted to distract her from Meadowes. Lucius knew a little of her affiliations now but he didn't know enough. Still he trusted the Dark Lord and one thing was for certain - things would be interesting tonight.

It was hard to tell because he acted so cool, so chill, but Lucius was shitting himself. AT all times, all day and all night. Narcissa was pregnant and it was about her fifth, possibly even sixth time being pregnant and Lucius was dreading every single day of it. He was one edge all day although he had to manage it so as not to stress his wife. He worried constantly. He watched every little thing that his wife did. Narcissa thought she could see him lovingly watching her? Caring for her? Well she only caught about one third of what was going on. He was there for her, he was chasing up healers, he was threatening that damned house elf more often than not because to stop the incompetent wretch from making too much noise. His work became less, it quite simply wasn't as important as his wife, and Lucius dared not talk to anyone else outside of his wife and her healer about what was going on. It was their business and no one else's. They would tell people when they were ready and not a moment sooner.
"I'm certain we could find a more suitable spot." He smiled at his wife. Narcissa was a vision. Despite all his worries and concerns about his wife being pregnant with his child yet again, Lucius always found her beauty calming. Even after they'd lost their perfect little girl, she'd been beautiful in her sorrow. Narcissa was always beautiful and Lucius was certain it wasn't just because he was in love with her that he thought such a thing. He guided his wife, and in turn his niece, to the edge of the crowd, concerned about Narcissa's well being but that wasn't unusual. He wanted her rested in bed all day, everyday, but he knew that wasn't actually going to accomplish anything. He wasn't really a worrier, it wasn't in his nature, but tragic loss after tragic loss after tragic loss made for caution, add the loss of a fully formed little life and Lucius was a worrier about this. He wanted Narcissa safe, he wanted her comfortable. He had no idea how to do that. He had no idea how to keep his wife or unborn child safe in a world that could not guarantee either of them would make it to the end of this pregnancy. Two months, just two months in and still seven more months of worry left.

Of course there was no straight forward answer. She'd been through so much these past twelve months that it would have been simpler to ask a dragon to keep it down. Lucius didn't know what to do. He'd expected that some day they would go through this but he'd not expected it so soon. Perhaps another year but not now. This time last year Narcissa was pregnant with Carina. She wasn't even showing beyond a little bloat but to be pregnant again so close and especially after carrying for so long yet not having their child - Lucius couldn't even begin to describe just what that was like to anyone and he really couldn't even begin to contemplate just what was happening in Narcissa's mind. Scared, he believed, had to be an understatement, but was she happy? Even a little? It was what they wanted eventually, right? So it had happened a little - or a lot - sooner than they'd anticipated, that was still okay, right? Honestly Lucius was trying to just convince himself.
"Me too." He said softly. He wrapped his arm closest to Narcissa around her shoulders and gently kissed the top of her head. "Me too," He repeated, sighing so heavily his chest heaved up and down as thoughts of what was coming flooded his mind, but right now that didn't matter. All they needed to concentrate on tonight was being with one another and coming to terms with the fact that Narcissa was once again pregnant. How they would handle it could be discussed another day, another time, for tonight Lucius just wanted to hold his wife close to him and reassure her as much as he could that he was there for her, no matter what.

The words that Narcissa spoke were ones that Lucius had heard before. He'd celebrated such news joyously with his wife even after their losses but this time did not feel so joyous. Perhaps it was because of the confusion of Narcissa's words, the way she'd explained everything beforehand while leaving out the crucial detail, letting it all just fall into place in Lucius' mind like some kind of falling puzzle that just could not be unlocked without that final piece. Or perhaps it was because he had not been aware that they were trying as such. He knew that they were intimate, obviously! But had they wanted to fall pregnant so soon? What kind of toll would this take on his wife's fragile mind and body?
Lucius sat there silently, mouth slightly agape for a moment longer as he continued to process this news. His wife was pregnant again. They were to expect a child in June. Their child. Lucius knew that he should have been excted but Carina had been such a huge part of their world and yet at the same time she had utterly crushed all trust that Lucius had in his wife's body. He had no idea that he would feel this way upon hearing such news. He'd always thought that should Narcissa fall pregnant again then he would be happy for her, for himself, but all he could do was worry. "Forgive me, my darling, I know this isn't the reaction you were hoping for. You've stunned me a little!" He pulled Narcissa's hand up to his mouth, pecking the top of her hand and the clasping it gently between the two of his hands. "Truly, from the bottom of my heart, my sincere congratulations." He allowed himself a smile. "How are you feeling?" Merlin he hoped this was a simple question, something that could give him clear insight to her mind, some truthfulness to how she was feeling because honestly, while Lucius wore a smile, he was happy and concerned all at once. Hopefully Narcissa's feelings could help give his own some clarity.

The concern on Lucius' face only grew greater as Narcissa spoke of seeing a healer. His Narcissa was seeing a healer without him? It was ridiculous! He wanted to desperately know what was going on with his fie, he needed to know just what in the name of Merlin she'd been up to and he wanted to question just why she hadn't spoken to him about any of this, and yet he couldn't say a word, something that was beginning to infuriate him the longer this secret keeping was going on, despite only just finding out that his wife was indeed keeping a secret. "Narcissa," He breathed almost silently, letting her continue on. There was no sense in distracting her from her train of thought or else he'd potentially end up even more confused. A straight forward evening with his wife was what Lucius had been hoping for, what he was receiving was certainly anything but.
Lucius swallowed hard and stayed with Narcissa, fighting the urge to find someone that could tell him what madness was possessing his wife. She would begin to make sense soon enough but if she didn't then Lucius was certainly going to call for a Healer and have her looked over. Had her losses finally driven her to insanity? All this time of thinking she was getting better had he really just been pushing her deeper and deeper into insanity, into some kind of mad psychosis? "Narcissa," He breathed gently, his voice carrying his concern as she looked at him, tears falling from her crystal blue eyes, "What in the name of all that is magical are you speaking of?" He asked. Who were they expecting in June? Who was possisbly visiting that could get his wife so distressed because honestly, Lucius wanted to murder the man that was putting such pressures on his darling Narcissa.

Something was off and Lucius didn't like it. They way that Narcissa spoke was breaking his heart. Had something happened? Oh Merlin, what was it? They'd lost Corrine and they'd lost Bellatrix. Was there someone else? Had they lost another loved one? The way she looked, the way she'd dressed, it didn't seem as though tragedy had befallen them once more, however he could not be certain. Her voice had cracked and her startling blue eyes had become glassy with the start of tears. What in the name of all that was magical was happening? Why was she prolonging this?
His eyes followed her every move, concern could not be hidden from the aging features of his face. He was only twenty-five years of age and yet most days he felt as though he was fifty-five. He had been through a life time of hurt with his wife and yet they were coming through it - or he had thought they were coming through it. Whatever was happening this evening Lucius was worried it would put them back to square one, put them in the same position they'd been in at the beginning of the year. The idea that Narcissa would lock herself away from him again was agonisingly real.
He sat at her request, taking her hand in his, silent as he gazed at her. He had learnt to wait patiently for his wife. He wanted to ask her to tell him what was going on, to fill him in on what hell they were about to endure together but he knew better, he had learnt that his wife would get to things in her own time, she would be more coming if he gave her the space and time to compose her thoughts. Pressure did nothing. So he waited patiently - worried - and gazed at his wife, never able to hide his emotions from her although he tried, he tried not to look as concerned as he felt but he was failing. Miserably.

Life was grand. Lucius was living the high life once more. Even on the cloudiest of days he could feel the suns rays on his skin. Warmth emanated from within him without even needing to think about it. Work was going splendidly, artefacts from Germany snuck in all safe and sound over the course of the week and they were hidden away safely. Lucius had even kept a couple of darker possessions for himself, locked away in the depths of his manor where no one had access. As well as work going better than expected, his home life was incredible, or at least far better than it had been at the start of the year. His wife was radiant, she was his purpose in the world once more. Narcissa was like a completely different person. She still had her moments where she was in need of her solitude and Lucius respected that but the need for her alone time had significantly decreased. It was wonderful really. Life was really on the up and up and there was nothing that could bring Lucius down right now.
Arriving home a little later than anticipated, Lucius unbuckled his cloak, "Where's my wife, elf?" Dobby was at the door, scotch in hand for Lucius, bowed low for his master. "Mistress is in the lounge, master." The squeaky voice of the elf was cutting to Lucius' nerves. Lucius threw his unfastened cloak at the elf and made his way through the hall to the living room, sipping at his scotch. When he reached the lounge the door was slightly ajar and he pushed it open, letting himself in. His eyes found her immediately. She was an absolute vision. The way her long, blonde hair hung over her shoulders suited her. The way her sapphire eyes sparkled in the light was mesmerising. Lucius swallowed as he drank her in. This was what life was about. This was what he had always wanted from the moment he'd realised he wanted to marry Narcissa. "Darling," He said as he crossed the room, leaving his glass on the coffee table, "You look a vision." He leant down pecking her delicate cheek, with an irrational fear that he might bruise her pale, flawless skin.

For so long Lucius had waited for this, to feel his wife in bed with him was a step he had truly thought was never coming. Narcissa had hidden herself away for months and it had pained him more than he could ever have expressed. He'd locked those feelings away, occasionally releasing them in self-destructive ways, but never around her, never around his perfect wife. Narcissa had her flaws, he knew that, but despite everything Lucius remained certain that there was no one else more suited to him in the entire world. He was her life and one day soon they would have their child. They would have their happiness. Narcissa was strong, she was incredible. He would make her happy and she would be a wonderful mother. It was in their future, Lucius was certain of it. As he laid there, his arm around her, wanting to kiss the side of her neck but daring not to, he stayed silent, waiting for her to drift off to sleep before he too fell into a gentle sleep, waking every now and then to check that his love was still there, still content and asleep in his arms. Each time he fell back to sleep with the slightest hint of a smile on his face. They were better, they were together once more and there was nothing, nothing in this world that could tear them apart. He knew it and he looked forward, for the first time in a long time, to what the future had in store for them.

Oh she was naughty. Lucius watched a little as Dora strolled away, a little wiggle to her hips, enticing anyone that looked in her direction. She knew exactly what she was doing and Lucius enjoyed it. Still he was a married man, out in public and it was time to head on to his meeting. Dora had been a charming distraction for a while but he had to tame his mind, focus it on business and not the bouncing locks of raven black hair. Dora was pushed to the far reaches of his mind, sat somewhere around the same place as Narcissa. He could see Narcissa and Dora getting on well some day, should Narcissa ever pull herself out of that slump she refused to allow him in on. There was only so much a husband could do for his wife and while it pained him, he had needs, needs he would see to when he could wait no longer and his wife, in her pit of depression, could never know.
Lucius took to the path needed to get him to his destination and thought only of what was in store for him this afternoon. He put up a barrier, separating the women in his life from the work he had ahead of him and he knew that in order to be the best businessman he could possibly be, he had to have no distractions. Easily done. Shutting himself off from his feelings and emotions Lucius went ahead with his little meeting and got himself a hot little deal. Perhaps a little more forcefully than he would have liked but then some people needed that extra push and as he settled with a scotch in his hand as he looked around his study, he found his mind drifting back to Dora once more and the discreet fun he might one day have with her.

Lucius let out a soft chuckle as Dora called him charming in return. Honestly, what was there not to like about Dora? She was witty and bright and her family's bloodline was nothing to turn your nose up at. Lucius was convinced there was something off about her parents and it was a tragedy that had befallen her brother, but Dora had high spirits, she was jovial and a pleasure to be around. She was straight up sexy too. She was always impeccably dressed and Lucius knew if he didn't have somewhere to be and if she didn't have her little companion, then they'd have had an absolutely splendid time with one another in some five star hotel at his expense. If Narcissa didn't start showing signs of forgiving him for whatever it was he had done, then perhaps he would seek out the company of Miss Parkinson for an evening of pleasure. Order room service, have some fun and then leave her with the room for the night while he retired to his empty bed.
"Do, and pass on my regards. We all know she's been through a lot and I'd hate for her to think that she's been forgotten." He smiled politely, not really caring too much with regards to Dora's mother. The woman was okay but it was quite obvious the way in which Mr and Mrs Parkinson had neglected their children and now one, the son that would have carried on the Parkinson name, was deceased, leaving Dora to pretty much fend for herself. Well Lucius would see to it that Dora was looked after one way or another. Fin was a friend of hers and often helped her out and Lucius was willing to offer help in anyway that he could. So perhaps hooking up for an evening would be a mistake. "Ah, the time has come that I must make my way to visit my friend. We should catch up properly sometime, you should come over for some tea," Although Narcissa probably wouldn't like that, "Or we could go out for something a little stronger." That would be better, maybe grab Fin to make sure nothing else happened while he was drinking his sorrows away.

Through the dim light Lucius could see his wife's movements and although his eyes watched in disbelief his mind was struggling to catch up with what was happening. His wife, that he'd practically been estranged from for months was climbing into their marital bed. Words were failing him yet at the same time a small voice in the distance of his mind was screaming at him not to say anything, to not overcomplicate things with something as cheap as words. Actions had far more value in situations like this but what could be do? He'd only recently been able to kiss her on the cheek, what would happen if he put his arm around his wife? Would she recoil at his touch and leave him in this bed alone? What would happen if he didn't reach out and touch her? Would she be angered or upset that he may not want her? Things were so complicated when they didn't have to be. Once upon a time they just knew one another, there was no need to feel uneasy with one another because they were just one person when they were around each other. Now it barely seemed as if they were two people, Lucius barely even felt human without his wife but perhaps tonight was the night things would start to change.Â
Laying back down completely beside his wife from his slightly propped up position, Lucius slid the arm that played directly on the bed in under Narcissa’s pillow and her neck and slid in close to her, his chest pressing against her back. He felt as though it was too much, as though it was going to drive her away but it had taken so long for her to be here with him again that he started to move without thinking, acting as though this was how they’d always been and so gently, his free arm came up and he draped his hand over her middle, resting gently against her stomach where there had once been a small swell where their child had lived within her mothers belly.

"Charm lessons" was a cute little way of phrasing such a task. Training a dog, Lucius believed, was rather simple. They were obedient creatures that longed to be ordered about so as to please their master, although Dora's little pup certainly seemed a little more excited than Lucius had ever been used to. He was no expert on dogs really but he was certain that young Miss Parkinson wouldn't want to be scaring off any suitors anytime soon so she'd see to it her dog was aptly trained. "I'm positive she'll become endearing in no time at all, after all she'll be learning from the best." He smiled, meaning Dora. She was rather cute and endearing in Lucius' opinion and if it struck his fancy perhaps he might see if there was someone he might urge her way. She was in need of a husband and sooner rather than later. She and Fin didn't seem to be doing anything with regards to their relationship so Lucius could only assume they were incompatible one way or another.
With Lucius' "meeting" not all that far off he supposed he'd best be on his way soon. He still had a little time and rather enjoyed Dora's company. She was an easy going kind of girl and he meant that in all the ways possible. He knew she had a bit of a reputation but she was young, barely out of Hogwarts really, she needed some fun but now life was becoming serious and Dora would be expected, someday, to have an heir for a pureblood husband, someone that sided with the Dark Lord and carried out his bidding. Dora was a girl with her head on straight but with her parents being who they were - or had been in the case of her father - she had no one looking out for her to find her a husband, and while Lucius genuinely did enjoy her company, she wasn't exactly wife material. She needed someone to give her a push in the right direction and to arrange something. Something her parents truly should have sorted for her but alas, the situation was what it was. "How is your mother these days? Last I heard she was a little under the weather." Of course the rumour mill was churning and it wasn't so much that she was ill in the traditional sense, such as a bug, but more the self inflicted kind with far too much wine to numb whatever pain she had inevitably brought upon herself.

Every night he felt his heart break like this. The small sliver of hop that he held was slashed and destroyed yet again. How could he love a woman that treated him this way? He was Lucius Malfoy, his money, his looks, and his name were enough to land him literally any woman he wanted in the wizarding world and yet she was the only one he needed if she'd only give him something, anything to go on, instead she shut her door like she couldn't wait to be rid of him and so Lucius sighed almost silently, his disappointment carried away on his breath. There was always tomorrow. He wasn't sure what might happen between now and then but something - anything - could happen. By some miracle he could possibly have his wife back. It was unlikely but the hope was still there. It was there every night and it was destroyed he following night every time.
Back in his room Lucius heard the pipes as Narcissa turned on the water. He sighed, wishing he was able to just step in and join her without a care in the world but there was no way he could do that. She wasn't ready for him to join her in any sort of way beyond a kiss on the cheek goodnight, and even that seemed to be too much for the beautiful witch. Lucius was trying his best to see things from her point of view but there were times when he was truly stumped. She was supposed to love him and yet she was punishing him for something he had no control over. He was being punished, pushed away by the love of his life. Lucius just climbed into his bed, hoping that a goodnights rest would help Narcissa feel better, hoping that her painting, her shower and a goodnight sleep might just help her wake up feeling better and washing away all the depression that surrounded her.
Sleep came quickly. Once Lucius climbed in on his side of the bed and pulled the sheet and duvet up he took a glance at Narcissa's empty pillow then closed his eyes. There was nothing but pain when he looked at the space where his wife used to lie. She'd come back to him some day, she just had to. Before he knew it there was a creak. Lucius opened his eyes and like every night for as long as he could remember, Narcissa was stood at the edge of their bed. He'd had this dream so many times that even his dream-self had given up on his wife, perhaps dream-self Lucius was more sensible than conscious Lucius. In the dream he'd started turning his back on her but tonight, something about this dream felt so real. Lifting his head off his pillow a little he looked at his moon-soaked wife as the light came in through the open window. He no longer bothered with the curtains. He felt as though leaving them open was just the right thing to do for some reason. The moon and stars gave him some comfort on the lonely nights. "Narcissa?" Her name crossed his lips in a breathy whisper. This didn't feel like a dream but surely this wasn't reality.

Goodnight. It cut like daggers into his soul. Through his chest and across his heart she was slowly trying to kill him with this rejection of his love. All his efforts for her, for them, were for nothing. She didn't care that she was pushing him aside, she only let herself fall deeper and deeper into depression and there was nothing he could do about it. He couldn't bring her out of it because she wouldn't allow him to get close to her. He was failing as a husband and he wasn't sure how to handle that. He knew he had his moments of wallowing in self pity. Those nights often lead to a lot of alcohol and a one night stand. Those were his lowest moments, his lowest nights. His wife was an angel and he betrayed her. Not often but more often than he'd ever thought possible. Unjust thoughts ran through his mind, thoughts of divorce, a new wife, having a child. He was still young, he could afford more years with Narcissa before the subject of an heir became one of sensitivity. Their losses were enough already, he didn't want to pressure his wife, his love any more but how long could they go on like this? He needed an heir, he was the last Malfoy male, if he didn't have a son the name would die. He would have loved his daughter more than the sun loved the moon but she would not have been the heir he'd needed to carry on the family name, yet he would have loved her all the same.
Lucius leant forward, leaning towards his wife, he brought his face towards her to kiss her cheek as he did every evening. He paused a little, able to smell the paints and her own scent. This was their ritual, this was how it was. He hesitated for a moment, giving her that small chance to pull away from him if she needed. She hadn't pulled away, at least not for a while but there was no telling where her mind was at, he could only hope that she'd come back to him someday soon, that they could move on to the next step of their healing. It would take a while, he knew that, perhaps it would be years yet before they could have a child together, one that would last inside her womb, one that was perfect and could bring some semblance of joy to their lives. Lucius knew, as he kissed the cheek of his wife gently and pulled away slowly, straightening himself up, that a child would be a long way off but he was willing to wait, and he was willing to go through the nightmare that her pregnancy would be, for every little thing would be of concern to the both of them. He already had plans to have healers for her, working around the clock to care for her in any way that she needed and to see her pregnancy through to a healthy, live and very loved child.
