[attr="class","recbox"] [attr="class","recinfo"] Emmeline Vance [attr="class","recscroll"] T A K E N by I Z Z YEmmeline is Cora's younger sister. She was the same year as the Marauders and I'd love it if she was Lily Joanne Potter 's best friend! Former Gryffindorks together and now in the Order, only Lily's just had Harry so is on lighter Order duties and being driven mad! On top of the best friend situation is the sister situation.
Cora is a werewolf, coming from a pureblood family with slightly reserved (though not elitist like DE's) views, their parents see Cora's affliction as something to be ashamed of. Cora struggled to get by and then found a job with Emily Jane Meadowes at a mugglebook store, the older woman taking her in under her wing a little. With Cora's parents turning their back on Cora, Emmeline and Persephone Charloote took their sister's side. Thick as thieves the girls are super close and tell one another everything. Cora would love to have her sisters to bond with and Lily would love a BFF!
PB open although I do rather like Camila Mendes because let's face it, Cora and Emme would be sooo similar! Easily believable as sisters! Oh, and little Peter Augustus Pettigrew has a complete crush on this beauty <3 [attr="class","recbox"] [attr="class","recinfo"] Charlotte Vance wildcard pureblood 19 badass [attr="class","recscroll"]
T A K E N by C O C O ! -renamed Charlotte- -aka Lottie-
Persephone is the youngest of the Vance children and this is her second year out of Hogwarts making her 19/20 depending on birth date. She was the third daughter that was hoped to be a son but their parents didn't make their disappointment known. Cora loves her sisters' fiercely but feels that little bit extra protective over Persephone.
If you read Emme's want then you'd see that Cora is a werewolf and that the girls' parents pretty much turned their backs on her. Emme and Perse stood by their big sister. Recently the girls' parents have agreed to pay for the Wolfsbane Potion for Cora for every full moon. The family is quite well off but the girls chose to make their own way through life, not coasting off their parents wealth. The girls live in a three bedroom home in the muggle world where they each chip in. Emme and Perse moved in once they were graduated, but spent their holidays with Cora when at school.
PB open although I quite like Jenna Coleman but anyone with dark hair and brown eyes would do. Persephone is just a filler name, this character's name is open. Her allegiance is also up to the player. ►[newclass=.recscroll::-webkit-scrollbar]width:3px;[/newclass]made by [newclass=.recscroll::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background-color:#fff[/newclass] kaigra[newclass=.recinfo]height:250px;width:500px;transition:all 1s linear;margin-left:500px;[/newclass] ◄[newclass=.recbox:hover .recinfo]margin-left:0px;[/newclass]

Cora had never been so terrified in her life, unless you included the night she was bitten and felt as though she was going to die. This was taking a lot out of her, she rarely liked to venture into the magical world and yet here she was, making it known that she was a werewolf to someone she didn't really know all that well and that she was hoping did not recognise her. He gave her a little information on the potion and she nodded her head, nervous as he placed emphasis on a certain word, making her feel even more uncomfortable. He showed her the lunar calendar although he really didn't need to, she was well aware of how far off the next full moon was. This was just a whole mess but she nodded, of course there would be a higher price for a rush order, higher price for the rare ingredients, extra price for the complexity, and not forgetting an extra price because of what she was. Still her parents were covering the cost for her, she couldn't afford it herself, she only worked in a bookstore, but her parents had plenty of gold coming in and could afford to give their eldest daughter some help once a month, even if they didn't want to see her that often.
"Yes," She said with a small nod. Reoccurring for as long as her parents were willing to pay for it. Cora wasn't exactly sure why they'd agreed to help her, they'd been quite old fashioned in their thinking in the past, they'd been prejudice against her kind and yet now they wanted to help? When she'd gone to talk to them she'd expected a short visit, a curt answer and a request never to come back. Instead what she got was a longer visit than anticipated, a cup of tea, a couple of her favourite biscuits and they'd agreed to help her out. Things had been completely awkward, you could have cut the tension with a dagger, but all in all it was a somewhat promising visit. "Just file the order under Amine Argent." She said quietly. It was a name she had decided on before. It was something she kept for her wolfy side. Amine after a shewolf of literature and Argent, the french word for Silver. "I can pay in full, now, for the first three months." She said. She had the money and this was a legitimate business so she didn't think she was being mugged off.

There was quite the fuss being made in the atrium, and while there weren't many people in the group causing the ruckus, there was quite a sound being made. Their voices carried far and bounced from the walls, giving them the illusion that they had more of a following than they actually had. Cora didn't care how many of them there were, all she wanted to do was get by and head on up to wait for her appointment time. She had enough on her mind without worrying about some protest for something that was probably none of her business getting involved with. She was happy to just carry on as she was, pleasing the system so that she wasn't forced to endure any unjust actions from the ministry. This new acting minister, while only acting Minister, seemed to be coming down harshly in the interests of the magical world, trying to keep all these threats away while he was in office, yet Cora didn't think of herself as a threat, not usually at least. She was actually a pretty upstanding citizen who was in an unfortunate situation. She wasn't aware of many werewolves, she knew of Julian and that was it, so she wasn't sure if their inner wolves affected them much, but she couldn't imagine that everyone that was a werewolf was a danger or threat. She'd really tried avoiding everything werewolf related so she could just go about living her life, she didn't need to know what others were like, they could be far more aggressive than she.
A woman trotted up alongside Cora, talk about rights for werewolves. Cora stopped, her breath catching. Werewolves? This whole thing was about drawing attention to, and focusing on werewolves? That was the last thing Cora wanted and she couldn't imagine many people with the same condition as she would want all this attention brought to their lives, after all they were ostracised enough without someone who thought they were helping in all actuality making life much, much worse for the likes of people with Lycanthropy. What was she supposed to do? "Uh," She'd just feel rude if she ignored the woman but at the same time she couldn't sign this, the ministry would find out and who knew what she'd be in for after that. Would they just let her carry on with her life? Probably not! They'd make it even harder for her to exist in the world, push her and people like her in farther away.

What could possibly more cheerful at this time of year, the holiday season, than to have to check in with Ministry to make sure you were behaving yourself? Of course this wasn't a treatment a lot of people had to go through, this was something that just a few people, singled out for an illness, were subjected to. Cora was a werewolf, she was bitten when she was out celebrating one night, and because of that, she was now subject to the Ministry. She had to jump through hoop after hoop, act like she was a performing monkey, just to try and exist peacefully in the world, and not even her own world at that, she couldn't bear the idea that someone might find out what she was and so she had to live her life, mostly, in the muggle world. She had to work there and live there or else she was subjected to too many of the wizarding worlds laws. She was sick and tired of it but it was her reality, it was the life she had to live in order to be as close to normal as possible. If it hadn't of been for her sisters then she would have been completely shut off from the wizarding world. Apart from these pesky invasions of privacy of course.
The trip to London was simple. She just apparated close to the Ministry and then made her way to the red phone box that was always overlooked by any stray muggle that happened to stumble this way. She typed in the code needed to trigger a response from the other side, said what she needed into the receiver, a muggle habit she’d picked up on. She was issued a badge and she didn’t even look at it, knowing it would be the same as all the others she’d had before, so she just clipped it on to her top and pulled her cloak over it as she was lowered through to the Ministry. After about a minute of waiting the doors opened and Cora stepped out into the Atrium. There were always a lot of people and Cora paid them no attention. The less she could draw to herself, the better. She preferred to just get on with her business and get on out, but there was a relatively small crowd that caught her eye as she walked on by but she didn’t intend to stop to find out their cause. She had twenty minutes until her appointment but she’d spend it waiting quietly, reading a book, hoping they’d call her in early so she could just leave. The Ministry of Magic was quite an intimidating place when you were there to be judged over something you had no control of. Cora made sure to keep her name tag, with the purpose of her visit upon it, hidden from view with her ordinary black cloak, and she tried carefully not to get in anyone's way as she went but with the Atrium busy, it was easier said than done.

Cora remained anxious as Lucian took on board what it was she was requesting of him. She had no idea if he stocked such an item or if it was something that he could even brew. It was such a new potion and the ingredients so very expensive that Cora could not have afforded it on her own. Her parents were footing the bill and it was going to cost them quite a bit, but it continued to keep them at arms length of their daughter which was all they really wanted. They didn't want to be shut completely out of her life, but they didn't want to be associated with her either. It was hard for Cora to know just where it was she stood in their lives. Had it not been for her sisters, Cora felt sure that they would have just cut her out completely, pretending never to have had a daughter. It was a fear of Cora's that people would find out what she was, but it wasn't her greatest fear. She feared losing her sisters above all else, but she was fairly certain that her parents fears were someone, anyone, finding out just exactly what their eldest daughter was.
The length between Lucian's understanding of the potion Cora wanted and his next few words was so long that Cora just considered walking out in shame, head hung low, cloak hood up and pulled tight to hide her face. This was plain humiliating and she was beginning to come to the conclusion that she was wasting both of their times with such a request. However Lucian didn't dismiss her, nor did he scream at her, or even politely tell her to piss off. That was good. All he did was make sure that she was aware of what she would be paying for. If he could brew the potion properly then she was willing to give him her parents money in exchange for anything that would help keep her contained safely, reduce her as a threat to innocent civilians. The idea that she might harm someone during the full moon was terrifying, not only because she could force someone to go through what she went through every month, or that she might kill someone, but also because it could mean she would end up in Azkaban and she wasn't sure if she could survive that. Death would be a far kinder fate than shacking up with the dementors of Azkaban. "I - I know." She nodded ever so slightly.

What was she doing here? Couldn't she have just owled ahead asking if they stocked such a potion, or if they were willing to make it? Why did she have to come in person? It seemed that her awkwardness was noted because Lucian was kind enough to show her to a quieter spot, somewhere it seemed that they might not be overheard and for that, Cora felt a little more at ease. It did not settle the idea that he might kick her out of his shop, though, but hopefully no one would hear why she was being thrown out. Perhaps from here there was some kind of back exit close by that he'd throw her out of, save them both some humiliation.
Lucian spoke in a lower, quieter tone and it both put Cora on edge while it reassured her. She was certain that she was just prolonging the inevitable so it was just time to bite the silver bullet, so to speak."No-no, nothing like that." She said, almost bordering on feeling a little more confidence now that she'd decided she was going to name the potion she required of him, if he had it or could make it, "Wolfsbane." She said, her voice betraying her. She'd wanted to sound at least a little more confident now but she just couldn't, there was just too much that could go wrong for her but at least it was finally out there, "Is that something you could help me with?" She asked, feeling awkward as hell looking at him but she didn't want to be looking at the ground or anywhere else when she made her request, she wasn't that much of a coward.

Cora would have been happy to go about her business inside the shop uninterrupted for a little while. She wasn't looking forward to having to ask for a potion that could potentially see her chased out of the shop. It wouldn't be a good look for the shopkeeper to be chasing a client out of the establishment but at the end of the day, no one wanted to help a werewolf, that was something she was very familiar with and very conscious about. People staring was the last thing she needed and if going to her parents to ask for the money to buy the potion wasn't hard enough, being run out of a potion store would certainly be the cherry on the top of a shittastic life.
Laughing in an exhale she barely made a sound, but she smiled and her gaze averted to the floor. This was so incredibly awkward now. Not only was she going to be thrown out of an apothecary, she was about to be thrown out by Lucian Burke. They'd been the same year at Hogwarts, although a different house, and while she may have thought he was quite attractive back in the day, that was nothing compared to now. He had a rugged handsomeness that was clearly natural while at the same time his voice and features were friendly, even somewhat soft and charming. She supposed it was all part of his job but Merlin's beard this less than simple task was getting more and more difficult. "Hi," Great start, "I'm in search of a potion." She said, finding it easier to quietly speak to the floor, "I believe you might have what I'm searching for." Excellent start, what was more Cora managed to lift her head a little and then a little more until she could actually look at Lucian in the eye while praying deep down inside that he wasn't about to kick her out or worse, recognise her.

There was a sincerity to his words that Cora wasn't sure she'd ever heard from him before. The air of mischief that he had always had during their past interactions was not present, instead he seemed to be speaking of truth, from the heart and soul of his own personal experiences, endeavouring to connect with her on a level she wasn't sure anyone beyond the reach of her sisters could ever reach. Trust was not something Cora was able to place in people. Her own parents had practically turned their backs on her. They tried to pretend as though she didn't exits. They hadn't gone so far as to disown her but it was certainly something she knew they wanted to do. Her condition wasn't truly secret but it seemed that those that may have known about it had forgotten as the years passed on by but it wasn't something her parents could ever forget. If the whole magical world knew what she was then she would have been an outcast.
Julian said he would keep her secret and Cora wasn't sure. He seemed genuine enough but what did that even matter? She wasn't willing to believe him flat out and after years of distancing herself from people, she wasn't even sure if she could ever find even the desire to want to trust him, or anyone for that matter. So she nodded her head. "Sure. And thanks." She said softly. There was nothing else for her to say. She felt on edge, she felt exposed. She'd keep his secret for now. She had no intention of purposefully outing him to anyone, not even her own family, but she felt unsure that she could expect the same from Julian. Cora had no idea if he could be trusted, she dearly wanted to forget about having seen him at all but his scent was all over her, it was in her cave now. All she wanted to do was go home, shower, and sleep off the transformation hangover for a couple of days - hopefully without having any nightmares in that time.

Cora was finding herself venturing into the wizarding world a lot more than she would have liked recently. Sometimes she just felt like she needed to be connected to it again for her own state of mind and sometimes it was necessary. She had to check in with the Ministry of Magic every now and then because they liked to keep tabs on her and her 'condition' so that was a pain in the arse. Other times she had her sisters dragging her out and about which wasn't so bad but the wizarding world wasn't a lace Cora felt entirely comfortable in any more. It wasn't because of all the troubles it was going through lately, although they certainly didn't help, it was because no matter where she went she always felt as though there were eyes on her just watching and judging. When she was mixing with people that had magical backgrounds she felt as though they could see through her, that she was some kind of fake or danger. It wasn't exactly a feeling she wanted to experience on a regular basis.
Today's visit was to Whimsic Alley and while it was an overcast kind of day, it was busier than usual. The street was alive with the sound of chatter coming from all directions. Students were preparing to head back to school but Cora was long since done with all of that. She could hear the excitement in the voices of some of the students, looking forward to returning to Hogwarts while others seemed simply unimpressed. Cora had been nervous and missed her sisters the first few years, but once she had them with her everything was easier. She'd not exactly been the confident sort at school, she'd preferred to blend in to the background, but now that she was graduated she was practically a different person, although with regards to her 'health issues' she somewhat reverted back to the person she had once been.
Paying a visit to Elixirium was the only thing on Cora's agenda. She stepped inside the potion shop and found there was barely anyone inside. She'd picked lunchtime to arrive because she figured anyone one visiting the alley would be getting something to eat and she hadn't wanted to go to Diagon Alley because she knew that every Tom, Dick, and Harry would be there, so instead she'd opted for one of the quieter locations one could purchase what she would need. Whimsic Alley wasn't one of the few magical lanes she'd ever really visited before what with Whimsic being a little more expensive than either Mystic or Diagon, and Knockturn was completely out of the question. That was exactly the sort of place someone like her would be expected to be and that would just really make things so much worse to be seen there. No, she was sticking to the mainstream stores to get what she needed. After having broken out of her cage once before on the night of a full moon, Cora wanted to make sure that nothing bad would ever happen if that sort of incident reoccured and so she'd done what she had to, she'd gone to her parents, had one hell of an awkward interaction, and come away with quite a bit of gold in order to procure an expensive potion.

While Cora weighed her options, Julian wandered off and left her alone. At last she felt comfortable. Sort of. She wasn't exactly able to relax knowing that someone else now knew her secret but she was relaxed being alone. She just fixed her jeans and figured she could call the Knight Bus to come and get her. They wouldn't question what she was doing out in the woods the morning after a full moon. They'd probably picked people up from far crazier places than the middle of a forest but she'd try and make sure she'd cover her face at least a little. She didn't want people figuring out what she was. She'd spent so long keeping it all a secret that the idea of several people finding out in one night was somewhat terrifying. She felt that she may need to pack up her life, move and start off all over again where no one knew who she was. She'd already left a large portion of her life in the wizarding world behind her after her incident and she didn't want to leave any more of it.
Cora dressed herself in her clothes that she found scattered around her little cave. She started tidying things up and by the time she was done she was starving, even more tired, and feeling more run down than before. She couldn't leave the cave as it had been, wild animals would have been attracted to the food and then she'd risk someone discovering her little cave and there was already one too many in the know.
Flinging her bag over her shoulder Cora looked up to see Julian had returned. He offered her some paracetamol and they actually seemed like a really good idea. She hadn't come across the potion that she usually took the morning after her transformations and she figured she wasn't going to. "Yeah. Thanks." She said, wondering how to approach the subject of 'please don't tell anyone I'm a werewolf, pretty please.' with Julian. She had no idea if he was the sort that might gossip about this kind of thing, perhaps he had friends or family that knew and accepted what he was just as she had her sisters, sisters who she’d be telling partially about her evening. She'd keep Julian's identity out of it all but she was certainly going to have to tell Emmy that she got out of her cage and that they were going to have to make a visit to fix it up as best they could before the next full moon. Cora could not risk this happening again. Next time she might no be so lucky as to come across Julian, next time it could be a human that stumbled unwittingly across her path and she did not want to fathom the outcome of that one.

Close to being able to escape Julian was one thing, not that she really needed to escape, she didn't feel that she was in any kind of danger around him, she just didn't fancy him knowing I've her secret. Everyone she had worked with at the ministry knew of her secret, it was a hard to escape the gossip that came after the incident. It had taken a lot of work and time to get her life settled once more. It was only through chance that she managed to get her life on track. If it hadn't of been for her sisters she wasn't sure where she would have ended up in life. Her sisters were the support to get her through the hardest time of her life. Her parents had panicked they've known what she become and then turned their backs on her, not in any formal sort of way but they had very little to do with her after her stay in the hospital after the attack. What worried Cora was that Julian could make her life, that she had work so hard for, a living hell once more. Julian had a power over her now, he had knowledge, and she had no idea how he might use that against her. It worried her. Would their once friendship stand up so these new discoveries? Julian, from Cora's point of view, had always been a wild card and she had no idea what might happen after this meeting.
Had the circumstances been more relaxed Cora might have enjoyed the scenery a little more. The forests had always been a favourite spot for Cora, they had always called out to her soul. She was drawn to their life and their darkness. She was very much drawn to the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts. Of course she had always been too frightened to enter it, she was not the sort to try and actively break any School Rules. Not that she was perfect but she tried her hardest not to die at Hogwarts. It wasn't exactly the safest of places really, but you never really noticed all that much as a kid, it just was what it was, and people continued to send their kids there because it was all a rather good learning experience really, although Cora was a lot more timid than her classmates had been, not so much these days though. Either the wolf inside of her had changed her or the whole being shunned from society thing had left her with a rather bitter taste in her mouth but she wasn't the wallflower she'd been during her Hogwarts days. She wasn't the opposite though, she wasn't one for actively seeking attention or wanting the spotlight, but she wasn't some kind of doormat.
Cora chose not to respond to his comment as she made her way down the hill and to the mouth of the little cave, her home away from home when required. Julian was charming an manipulative, or at least he had been during his days at Hogwarts. Back then she'd noticed but she'd not exactly been aware, not that it made too much sense. She'd always been aware he was good at charming people but it wasn't until now, thinking back on their school days and their interactions, his interactions especially, that she realised he had been rather manipulative. Back in school it had just been Julian being Julian, able to fit in with any crowd, able to befriend just about anyone. He bent his personality to fit the crowd he was socialising with, albeit subtly. Had it all been just playful or was it something darker. Had he always been a werewolf, even back then, or was the wolf just somewhat fitting for his personality, because it was. Of all the people she knew, being a werewolf seemed fitting for Julian Blackthorne more than any other. She didn't wish such a curse upon anyone, but it seemed to suit some better than others. She was pretty sure it didn't suit her at all.
As she looked at the mess of her cave, her bag torn up, clothes and bits of food scattered everywhere, partially eaten and obvious that in her wolf state she'd been rather peckish, she sighed. It was a mess, the door to her little cage was off its hinges but at least there was no dead bodies around. She'd remember more of her night once she was home and able to rest, the thoughts would more than likely come as they always did - right before she settled in her bed, ready to sleep for the night, clouding her mind, preventing her from sleeping for at least an hour. Cora just moved to her ripped bag. A simple, khaki green backpack that was now torn up, clothes pulled out from it. Her hands unbuckled it and reached inside, pulling out a pair of underwear that she put back in, scrunched up hoping to Morgana that Julian hadn't seen them, and pulled out a grey knit jumper instead. At the bottom of the backpack was her handbag that she kept with some money, sickles if she needed currency through the wizarding world, and pound sterlings, if she needed money for the muggle realm. It also housed a few little extra bits like balms if she needed for any cuts. Travelling with a handbag was a lot less conspicuous than with a backpack and Cora had a dislike for drawing attention to herself, especially after a full moon but judging by the tears in her jeans that were hanging out of her backpack through a decent rip no doubt made by her claws, she would draw attention to herself wearing those. Did she have the energy to repair her clothes and apparate home? She had no idea yet but she'd weigh up her options. Repair clothes so Julian wouldn't see her arse through a flappy tear in her jeans, then hang around a bit, perhaps have a nap until she had more energy to get home, or just get dressed and not worry about Julian catching another glance of her arse and instead just apparate home in wrecked clothing. She did feel a rather lot more tired than usual after a full moon but usually she never escaped her cage, her nights were boring, thrashing against the bars, scratching at the dirt, prowling with no where to go. It wasn't exactly exhausting, but having been out all night, roaming, running, playing ... then the walk back to the cave while essentially feeling hungover was quite a lot for Cora, but she supposed she had to get home.

This wasn't the most comfortable outfit to be wearing in the cold after a night like last night. Cora supposed she was only in half an outfit anyway because a blanket didn't really count as clothing but beggars could not be choosers. Once she was at her own bag she'd have actual trousers and clothes that fit her, she had a good supply of bits and pieces, including snacks, fresh water and some juice to help perk her up a little if she felt like it. She supposed she'd offer Julian something, providing he wasn't a perverted arse all the way there but so far so good. He wasn't being unreasonable and she'd just spent the night with him ... not in the way one might think, in fact in a very complicated way, but she wasn'y going to give in and be all chummy with him just because their wolfy halves had decided the middle of the night during a full moon was a perfect time for play. She should never have been able to get out but accidents happened. At least she sincerely hoped it was some kind of accident. Had she checked absolutely everything last night? She had no idea but she'd be having a chat with Emmy to see if they could figure out what had gone wrong. Cora most certainly felt she'd be leaving out the part about Julian.
Julian reached out a hand that had a bottle in it. Cora stepped a little closer and took the bottle with a small mumble "Thanks." Well she supposed she'd have to share whatever she had with him, he was being pretty descent, but she was beginning to wonder just what this meant. She'd never really come across other werewolves, not ones that had been in their wolf-like state before and people she'd passed by at the Ministry, she'd never known. Julian she knew and it wasn't as if this kind of information could just now be ignored. Sure they didn't spend time with one another but knowing he'd know where she was on the full moons made her feel a little uneasy. She'd never really had reason not to trust Julian before, she wasn't really one for quick judgements and that included today, she just felt a little exposed. A lot exposed actually. He knew her secret and not only that she'd been naked in front of him. Some literal exposure going on.
Cora took a couple of mouthfuls from the bottle before handing it back to Julian. The walk wasn't going to be too long and she hoped to be able to just grab her stuff and get on out. She just carried on walking in silence, listening out for the sounds of anyone else. Her sense of smell wasn't much to go on. She could smell herself and him, damp clothes and that was about all. His scent was a little overpowering and she wondered if that was just him or if all male werewolves were like that, or even all werewolves. She'd never really been aware of her own scent before, was it as strong as his? Cora didn't want to think on it too much, she just wanted to get properly warm and get home. Part of her wondered what Julian's story was but she wasn't nosey enough to ask. Thankfully, just up ahead beyond a small clearing was a gathering of thick trees that Cora recognised. She knew just beyond the trees, before it all started to spread out a little more, was her little cave with all she needed and thank Morgana for that, she didn't much fancy sticking around in Julian's company. This felt far too awkward for her. "Nearly there." She said softly, looking to Julian and then back to the trees that hid her little cave and cage.

Cora licked at her own ice cream, enjoying the mix of flavours as she thought about what it would be like to have a career like Perce's. Travelling all over the world would be incredible! Following your heart wherever it lead was something she secretly desired but with her condition it was practically impossible. Her freedom was limited by the laws of the wizarding world and if she were to leave the country then she needed to make sure she'd have appropriate accomodation set up for her monthly break out, that was if other countries would even accept her. She was lucky in that the UK was four countries, but if she wanted to find herself in Ireland then she would have to jump through all those hoops the ministry set up and then some for the Irish ministry. The thought alone was tiring enough without actually having to go through with it all but she hoped to one day travel - when she had enough money to pull it off. "At least you can rule it off your list." She said in response to Perce not being sure Merlin's grave was in Europe at all. Merlin was certainly a wizard of mystery but surely he wouldn't have strayed too far from his beloved homeland but then again Perce probably knew a heck of a lot more on the subject than she did! He probably had books filled with information on Merlin's travels, his habits and such.
The idea of studying Dragons amused Cora. She wasn't too sure how they'd react to her with her condition but it was definitely something to think about. This rare trip into the wizarding world was turning out to be a really lovely afternoon and she was glad she'd made the effort today. Sticking to the muggle world was nice enough but it was a good feeling, a relaxing feeling, to be around people like herself, people with magical abilities. She didn't have to hide who she was here, at least not all of herself, she still had to hide her wolfy nature as not a lot of people were keen on her kind but it wasn't as if she had any tell tale signs nor did she have to announce it to everyone she passed. She could just not tell anyone and the only people that really knew were those she'd told and those she worked with at the time of her bite. "I'm going to have to check out a few books on dragon taming." She told him, "Or read up on how to make ice cream." She chuckled.

Not much had changed with Julian's cheeky personality. Perhaps it was just a show, perhaps it was a way of denying what the wolf inside had made him but Cora was far different from what she'd once been. She was no longer the wall flower, she was no longer the door mat that everyone could walk all over and take advantage of. The anger she felt from everything that had happened, revolving around that one night, had made her a little more bitter than she had ever been. She disliked what the bite had done to her but it was what it was and there was little use dwelling on it. Occasionally she would allow herself to think of how life had been, how different it would be now if she were not bitten but she found she got too upset. Her parents hadn't exactly turned their backs on her completely but they may as well have. If it hadn't of been for her sisters then Cora wasn't sure what she would have done with her life after the bite, after her first change. Life was far from simple these days and staring at Julian's arse would only complicate matters, she didn't need that and so she avoided looking at it, not the slightest bit interested in him being naked in front of her, leading her through a forest she had decided she truly had to get to know better. If she hadn't come across him last night then ... Cora didn't want to think of what could have happened, Julian had been present and that was what mattered, he'd potentially stopped her from unthinkable things.
She followed him for a way, she had faith he wasn't leading her into so me dragon shit situation but he eventually let her know that they had arrived at their destination. She watched curiously as he moved to a log, looking for something and then pulled out a backpack. She avoided looking at his arse all though she did catch a glimpse occasionally. Julian threw a jump and blanket her way and she immediately slipped the jumper on over her head. It was long and baggy on her, falling down over her bum. She then wrapped the blanket around her lower half, tucking it in and wishing she had her wand on her so she could make the clothes warmer and possibly less damp, it was a fine line between cold and damp and she couldn't tell what the clothes were but she was thankful, "Thanks." She said, looking over at Julian who was completely shirtless, he hadn't packed a tee shirt or something? "I've got a few things downstream." At least she hoped she was at the right river. She could follow it down and hopefully find the fork where the cave she usually stayed in wasn't far from. Though of course it was entirely possible she was completely in the wrong place and she wouldn't be able to get out of the forest without her wand and it didn't seem like Julian had a wand on him but who knew what was in that backpack of his, back at her own little cave she had clothes, her wand and snacks and fresh water. Her sister would probably be there and worrying so Cora intended to keep a listen out for any signal from her sister and anything that would give away the location of her little cave.

Cora smiled, it was brilliant that Perce had such a passion, something he was willing to literally follow to the ends of the Earth. At least with Merlin's grave this time there wasn't so far to travel. Ireland was right across the water and undoubtedly a lot safer than other countries that Perce's travels would take him. Cora didn't mind that he was gone so often, he was off chasing his dreams and it was great to catch up whenever he was home but she figured his visits to home were few and far between when chasing his dream, as well as a job that saw him out of the country quite a lot too. Perce was a man of the world and Cora envied him a little. She was confined to the UK, she had to jump through hoops with the ministry if she wanted to go anywhere and she had to make sure that wherever she was, she had plans for the full moon. It would be no good to have a known British Werewolf terrorising some quaint little European village, international magical relations were already tense enough in the current climate, no one would want her adding to it all. "That sounds excellent." She wondered how long it would take Perce to thoroughly search the area but she supposed that was like asking how long was a piece of string. "I wish you luck with that, I'm sure you'll dig up something priceless one way or another."
It was hard being content with the life that she had but somehow Cora managed it. She knew things could be a lot worse but she had her sisters that helped her through everything. They were the light of every day. Emmeline was basically her guardian angel, she was the only one of Cora's two sisters that was graduated and she helped take care of her in the build up and the aftermath of each full moon. Without her sister she would have been lost, she would have starved some days when trying to get a job in the magical world, it had never really been much of a thought to explore the muggle world for a job, it wasn't really heard of for a witch or wizard to go out in to the muggle world like that, but Emme had made the suggestion and Cora had found a job quick-smart and with a fellow witch too. "If dragons started breathing ice cream then I might have to sign myself up for a dragon wranglers class." She laughed, it would certainly make them a bit less scary though their size and aggressive natures were damn well intimidating still!
