Dexter stayed silent but smirked. His enjoyment was written all over his face. He was throughly enjoying the sight of his wayward brother, kicked and beaten repeatedly by life. The gutters were where Darius belonged now. Once upon a time he had been set for gold and influence, but he wasn't careful enough, he wasn't ruthless enough, and now he was nothing but a bum people overlooked, avoided looking at, really. No one wanted to make eye contact with a beast, although that pesky, hissing cat was an exception, but animals were idiots. "Well I'll be taking my leave before I contract anything in this place." He said, straightening his cuffs while looking around at the train station, it was almost quite an achievement for Darius to be filthier than this dump, and yet the beast had somehow achieved it. "Try to take a bath, for Merlin's sake." He said, parting with a little advice for his brother before he disapparated from his spot.

“Well perhaps next time you should hide a little better, then.” He said. It had not been easy to track Darius down but clearly it was not impossible. His brother may have liked to believe that he left no trail, but Dexter had been able to find it, or pay someone to find it, which was basically the same thing in Dexter’s mind. “From what I understand you’re incapable of feeling...” Dexter paused for a moment, "Anything." He looked his brother up and down, "Or bathing it would seem." Dexter had no clue what it was like in Darius' life, but the fact that he chose not to be clean was rather disgusting, still, his appearance would not stop him from doing what he was there to do. He had delivered the news that their father was not well, he would let his brother stew on how much of life he was missing out on due to his nasty affliction. “It’s purely out of courtesy on my end, brother.” He hoped the word stung. They had not been brother’s for quite some time, Dexter had turned his back on Darius, yet he could not resist rubbing the word into Darius’ face.

To passers by it would seem that the two men before them were form two very different worlds. Dexter took pride in his appearance whereas his brother may not have bathed in a week. They were chalk and cheese to look at these days, whereas once upon a time they had been identical. To the eye, at least. Darius had always stood to inherit everything that belonged to their father. He was the one that would get a fortune someday, but Dexter had seen to it that Darius was cut off from the family. Did Dexter pity his brother or feel any remorse for what he had done? Absolutely not. His brother should have been watching his back, Dexter was always keeping an eye on his own. "Agree to disagree." He smiled, mockingly before taking a look around at the surroundings and the ginger cat. "I've been searching for you for quite some time," He said as though inconvenienced, "I wanted to let you know that father's not been well, as of late." Such a tragedy ... "He'd kill me if he knew I was talking to you but I thought you had the right to know." Of course Dexter only wanted Darius to know so that his vagabond brother could dwell on everything it was that he would be missing out on when their father was gone.

One foot, then the other. Dexter stepped out in front of Darius, looking to be the exact opposite of the man in front of him. Well dressed, suave, handsome. Clean. His brother seemed like nothing but wretch, and was that odd odour coming from Darius? Dexter had heard many things about his brother, he kept an ear close to the ground, listening to rumblings of what his brother was doing but only so much as was possible, Darius was a slick and slippery individual and Darius lost track of him on multiple occasions. It wasn't often that he got whisperings of Darius's exact whereabouts but today's lead turned out to be a fruitful one. Dexter would have to send more work his little fly's way seeing that he was the first one to be able to give an exact location and time for his brother. "Hello, brother." He said coldly, smirking. It was obvious to just about anyone that Dexter was feeling far superior and with great reason, looking upon his brother he felt as though he had won. His brother had every advantage in life just from being born first, but here Dexter was, the superior son of the Sharpe family.

He's Dexter's Ever so slightly older twin brother. Identical twin right up until Darius was bitten by a Werewolf and is now inflicted with lycanthropy himself. He was disowned by his family and lost his rights as heir, everything is currently planned to be given to Dexter. They lost their younger sister and rumours have it that Darius was the killer. Given his very publicly known illness he was scapegoated as the murderer although there's no proof against him whatsoever. It was, in actual fact, Dex that killed their sister. Yay family Drama!
Darius and Dex have always had a rocky love/hate relationship. Dex has always wanted to outshine his brother and tried hard at school Quidditch Captain and Head Boy back in the day Dex always felt as though he was worthy of his family's fortune more so than Darius so did he arrange for his brother to receive a bite from a werewolf? Who knows, it's certainly possible.
So Darius was born 12th of September, 1944 making him 36, turning 37 this year. Dex was a former Slytherin but Darius could have been Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. He could be married, single, whatevers. He's pretty much open beyond his name and birthdate! He was bitten when he was 31 but it could be at any point during the year that suits you. Not long after Darius was bitten was when Delaney (sister) was killed by Dex.

PERSONALITY Boggart: His sister coming back from the dead and telling everyone that he killed her. While

Patronus: Not exactly happy, but it sparks a great deal of pride - the moment he killed his sister. He protected the family name. He did the right thing, plus he got away with murder and he found it was such a rush.
Once upon a time, Dex was an easy going kind of guy. He was popular, fun and always up for a pint and a laugh. No one really knows what made Dex change but over the course of his career he's gradually gotten more and more serious. Many people blame the job, having gone from being an Auror seeing many things a person shouldn't, to head of a large department, it can't have been easy. And then there are the whisperings of his twin brother. The rumours of him being a werewolf and having killed their sister. There is a lot of mystery surrounding Dex and his brother Darius, but believe it or not, Dex doesn't let it get to him. He's serious all the time because he learnt the friends he'd had since school were muggle-loving morons and since getting shot of them one by one, he's not had many people to spend time with. Add to that that his brother actually is a werewolf goody-goody and you have what makes Dex, Dex! Oh, and his sister wasn't killed by his werewolf brother, she was killed by Dex. She wanted to run away with a muggleborn and Dex warned her that he'd see her dead before he allowed her to elope with a muggleborn. That's just the kind of brother that he is. So yeah, Dex hasn't exactly got his head on right, but who even cares? He's hot and he knows it! He can have any woman, any time. His wife stays home with the kids - as she should - while he earns the money that keeps a lavish roof over their heads. He's sharp and to the point, he doesn't put up with anyone's shit unless they're above him. There are plenty of people that dislike him because, frankly, it's easy to hate a twat.HISTORY

Dexter Sharpe was the second born child of Dana and David Sharpe. He was a placid and easy going baby, his parents having more trouble with their older child - older by twenty-seven minutes that was.
Darius Sharpe was always the heir and Dexter the spare, but that didn't stop Dex from always working hard in life. He wasn't going to throw away such a fine education and he did all that he could to focus on being successful and outshining his brother. Dex loved his brother but there was a competitive edge there.
When he was six, his parents had another child - a daughter. They called her Delaney and Dex never had much to do with her. She was raised one way, the boys another. It was just how it happened in their society.
At age 11, Dex was off to Hogwarts. He was sorted into Slytherin and he found the dorms and common room cold and void of emotion. It was horrible. He hated every second he had to spend there so he found himself a regular spot to visit on the grounds in the clear weather, and the library in the wet weather.
During his time at Hogwarts he strived to do his best, joining clubs and becoming Prefect and then Head Boy. He did his parents proud. Upon graduating Dex headed straight into the Ministry with his top grades. He joined the Auror program and for years worked as an Auror.
At the age of 27 he married Davina. It was arranged and Dex had no feelings for is wife at all. They have three children together but Dex is determined to have another heir, and who could blame him after what had happened to his family. What happened, you might ask? Well one night his brother stupidly got bitten by a werewolf. The family naturally disowned him and everything that was to be Darius's became Dexter's. He was smug and proud and it was at a good time too, for his sister, Delaney, was plotting to run away with a muggleborn. Not while he was in charge. He found his sister and slit her throat. He was maddened beyond reason so he did what he had to in order to protect the family name. He never told a soul, knowing that his parents would never forgive him for killing their sweet princess, but Dexter would not have the Sharpe name tarnished, not while he was set to inherit the family wealth.
A year later, when he was 32, the position as Head of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes opened up. He had never worked in that department, but having been an Auror he'd had to deal and manage his fair share of incidences. He applied for the job and got it. The first couple of years were a bit of a learning curve, but the department has been doing well under his lead. Now 36, he still leads the department.
