Lana, Impa, and Epona Borgin are all mum's sisters and Septimus Borgin is mum's brother. Ugly bloke. Told you she came from a shitty big family.
They say the apple never falls too far from the tree but for Noah, that's not the case. Her fits in well with the family he has but that's only because he's learnt to adapt. He was born to a couple of what he calls 'pureblood nobs'. They place a lot of worth on blood status and were hoping to raise their children the same way. Whether it was disliking his parents or maybe it was because he was bored, who even knew, but Noah found the notion of one person being better than another baser purely on blood status to be utter bollocks. He mentioned that to his father one day and received the biggest beating of his life to date. His dad was always a man with a temper, a man that felt he had something to prove, but that day Noah had bumps and bruises all over himself, cuts his mother healed and a bit of a concussion. He recalls the pain after but he can't remember much of the beating itself. What he did learn was that his father was actually a far bigger twat than he'd ever though possible and so he learnt to play along.
When he was about 8, Noah became a big brother. It was the best feeling in the world, he had no idea what it meant to be a big brother or even any clue on how to handle a baby, but he promised his little sister that he would be her protector growing up, that he would teach her all about the ways of the world ... just as soon as he learnt them himself. He absolutely doted on Fae and was an incredible big brother. He'd protect her come rain or shine, he'd help her out of any situation, and if he found out that anyone so much as harmed a single hair on her head, he'd make them shit on gravel and then magical force feed them the gravely shit. Or something of the like.
The time came for Noah to go off to Hogwarts and he was sad to leave his sister behind but Fae was treated better than Noah ever was, possibly because he taught her how to play along in the pureblood world and how to appease their parents. She was a fast learner and he hoped that she'd be alright without him there. He did make a promise to come home if she needed him to, and he would have done if she'd ever sent an owl but nothing ever came.
Sorted into Slytherin Noah was happy among the snakes. There were people there he'd known his whole life. He got on well with the majority but he was mostly just tolerating them. The older he got, the more he realised he didn't give a shit what these people thought of him, and that was something that went with him even once he was graduated.
After Hogwarts Noah joined the Ministry and got a job training as a Hit Wizard. He was fast and brilliant. They wanted him for the Auror program but he declined, happy with what he was doing. He worked pretty hard, not really bonding with any of his peers, but he carried on doing it regardless. He had a few good mates and he had Fae. There were a few one night stands but mostly Noah was a bit of a loner, and he liked it that way. He was approached by Dumbledore and he joined the Order of the Phoenix, although no one would ever suspect him of all people being in the Order. He was someone that seemed not to care about anyone or anything. He was rude, belligerent at times and somewhat lazy. He rarely wanted to go out. He preferred to stay in and work on his body, at least that was the story he would always give, quite often he'd be doing whatever he could to help the Order.
After the new laws were announced and began rolling out across the country, Noah was recruited for a position on the Muggleborn Registry Committee, something Dumbledore swung. It gave Noah the chance to get Albus the names of Muggleborns that wouldn't surrender themselves and therefore giving the Order a chance to find them first and hide them and their families away. It's a shit job but as always, Noah plays his part well in it all. He can't believe the barbaric changes happening, but he carries on, just as he ought to so as not to rouse any suspicions.
