Born prematurely and to a couple that hadn't expected to be pregnant, Titus Kalmin Rowle was a surprise to the world. After a few years of trying for a third child Corrine and Richmond were unable to conceive again and then suddenly Corrine was no longer experiencing her once a month visitor. All signs and tests pointed to early menopause and so that was that, the couple had two children. So as you can see, it came as quite the surprise to the Rowle's when Corrine began experiencing some awful pains. It had been so long since she'd had Olympus that she'd forgotten what the pains were. A healer was summoned and baby Titus was born, although he was nameless for nearly an entire month after his surprise arrival in the world.
Small and fighting for life, little baby Titus was smothered with love and affection. He was an unexpected miracle and despite his small size he grew fast and was a healthy baby. Once he was grown enough to survive without the need of magic, he was a happy, active toddler. Slow to meet his milestones as one might expect but he was a fun little boy.
With such a large age gap between himself and his siblings, Titus didn't really know them all that well and in fact he found Ceres rather daunting. She was always much taller than him and always seemed more masculine than him too. One of his earliest memories was of his sister's broad shoulders blocking his view out a window, not that she wasn't feminine, Merlin he'd never say that thanks to fear, but she was built rather well, much like their father in fact. There was certainly no denying she was his child.
Due to the age gap Titus practically grew up as an only child. He saw his siblings during the school holidays and her remembers their weddings. Ceres married a man that Titus thought rather odd but she seemed thrilled with the match. She did look lovely on her wedding day although at the time Titus had very little interest in that and more the twenty-five (or near enough) tiered cake. Then it was Olympus's turn to get married and Titus wasn't afraid to admit his brother had lucked out. She was a stunning woman and ever so elegant, nothing like their sister really. Everything seemed well and lovely. His siblings were married, he was in Slytherin at school and he wondered one day what his future wife might be like. He spent his brother's wedding looking at all the girls about his age and wondering if he might be married to one of them in the future. Everything seemed right on track in everyone's lives until his brother's honeymoon. News came that five days into the honeymoon the couple had been sailing and their ship was found capsized. They were never recovered and presumed dead, suddenly the weight of the world seemed to fall on Titus' shoulders as he realised everything that would have been Olympus' from the family line would now be his and his responsibility.
In the September Titus returned to school and everything went back to normal, hardly anything at all felt different while he was away from his family. He was part of a group that
referred to themselves as the Knights of Walpurgis with Tom as their leader. After school Tom disappeared and the groups disbanded, however when Tom arrived back from travels under a new name, they began a new group. Titus was among one of the first of the group now commonly known as The Death Eaters. He believes in the vision that they had during school, a pure world and not to mention creative ways to murder and maim.
Upon graduating Titus got a job in the ministry and began learning his father's business. He did well, his family having high expectations for him, and he managed it all. When he was 23 he was introduced to Eve Parkinson, the woman he was to marry. She was beautiful, splendid in fact, but first impressions weren't the greatest. He thought she was a bit of a cow and had heard she had a bit of a reputation among a few of the fellows. She was about to enter her seventh year of Hogwarts so Titus paid it all no attention. They'd be engaged in a year and married the year after that when she'd be 19 so there was no telling what she'd be like by then.
By the time Eve graduated Titus was doing well in the Ministry in the Improper Use of Magic department of the Magical Law Enforcement. They looked for a home that would be their own once they were married and they planned the engagement party and the wedding. Her reputation hadn't fared any better but what did Titus care? He would likely be having affairs when he was married and besides, he'd seen a few women here and there while they were betrothed and engaged.
The big day came and Eve was radiant, the pair said their vows and that was that. They enjoyed their honeymoon away, or at least Titus did, and then returned to the humdrum of life. Titus took Eve on holidays throughout the year, brought her gifts he thought she'd appreciate and then eventually they decided it was time to try for a family. In just under a year of trying they had Jovian and then along came the twins. Apollo came first, bursting into the world, screaming at the top of his lungs so loud that Titus could hear from the hallway. He didn't hear Helios' arrival but was later told he was just a quiet and curious baby.
Titus made his way onto the Wizengamot, all the while still a Death Eater. To this day he still amazed at what they've managed to accomplish and has more faith than ever that they're going to achieve their end goals. Over the years he's built up a positive relationship with his wife and has come to love her. He's protective of her and her family although her brother had to be taught a lesson. He shamed her family line and as such had to be dealt with in a most permanent manner. Sadly his sister-in-law got caught up due to some miscommunication and so the plans had to be altered slowly so as not to rouse suspicion, although Titus feels it was a lesson for her. The death of his nephew was a hard blow for the Parkinson family. Without Theon the Parkinson name was going to die out but then news came of Dora and her pregnancy. Eve's family line was not extinct, not yet, but should Dora have a daughter then there's no telling. On the whole, family life is complicated. Work is wonderful. Death Eaters are fabulous. What more is there to know?
