Date night! They didn't happen nearly often enough for Immy's liking. She wasn't one that usually took the time for personal matters but Dorian had won her over, whether she'd like to admit it or not. Any spare time that Immy had before Dorian had come along, was usually spent with her family. Im wasn't yet sure how she really felt about Dorian, but it was certainly nice to be dating again and especially with a thoughtful, smart, and quite frankly, attractive individual.
Im had had the whole day off from work. She'd run a few errands, got herself some shopping, tidied up here and there about her apartment and spent over an hour trying to figure out what she'd wear tonight. Going through her wardrobe, she realised that it had been quite some time since she'd cleared it out, but it would have to wait for another day. She cursed herself out loud in Spanish for not having bought an outfit while she'd been out shopping today, but decided on a short dress with long sleeves. Dark meets light with some eye-catching shoes. Her legs were some of her best features and she often preferred to wear sleeves over her arms but showcase her legs.
With her make up done and her hair loose around her shoulders, Immy was making sure she had everything in her bag when there was a knock at the door. She quickly stuffed her purse and wand inside and hurried to the front door. She took a moment to take a calming breath, not having realised the butterflies she had fluttering around in her stomach. First dates were always exciting but also made her feel a little nervous. Even though she'd built a sort of friendship with Dorian over the few months that she'd known him, and Ariel, Immy was still as nervous as she would have been for a blind date. Opening the front door Immy smiled as Dorian's face came into view. "Dorian, hi," She said happily, "Come in, let me just grab my coat." She said, opening the door up and taking a step back to let Dorian enter her apartment.

As a healer there were a lot of people that passed through Immy's life. She wished she could recall them all but usually name were lost to her, however ailments were not. It was usually how she identified her patients. Rashy man, dragon pox lady, overly -excited couple mistaking super glue for lube ... the list went on. Then there were people outside of her hospital life. She didn't meet many people in passing but when she did she tried to make an effort to remember them so it was kind of bugging her that she couldn't recall who the handsome guy by the pool was. She didn't recall him being a patient and he wasn't someone she knew outside of the hospital, so where did she know him from? The beautiful blonde wasn't familiar in the slightest which made Immy a little more comfortable because she was family certain she wasn't introducing herself to someone she'd already met, but this guy? Was she introducing herself to someone she'd already introduced herself to?
He introduced himself and realisation spread over Immy's face, her brown lifting as understanding swept over her. She did recognise him from the hospital but not because he'd been a patient but because he'd brought his daughter in. She smiled and shook his hand in return, "Of course. I should have known." She said with a bit of a chuckle while the lovely blonde made space for her, "Oh thank you, you didn't have to." She said, looking about and grabbing a chair from nearby (missing the spectacular pool splash), pulling it over and parking herself between Freya and Dorian where Freya had made the space, also curious as to how Dorian's daughter's hair had faired in the time since she'd seen her. Hopefully her little blonde curls were back to normal and with any luck there were no more magical outbursts! Kids that young that were aware of their powers were usually quite a bit of a handful!

Immy couldn't believe she'd just come from work to be thrown into a work like situation! She got down by Jasper and kept him in place, leaning gently against him while Leo got his shoulder back into place. The poor guy seemed to be having a rough trot and Immy was sure her presence would only be making it worse, male ego's could be a fragile thing at the best of times, so when he started talking to Leo, Immy stood up and stepped away from the men. "I'll give you guys some space." She said, fairly certain that Jasper would be fine, "It was lovely to meet you, Jasper. I hope you're feeling better soon." She said with a smile, knowing that physically he'd be fine soon enough but it would take considerably longer for a bruised ego to recover. At least a bruised ego wasn't life threatening. "I'll see myself in." She said to Leo, nodding her head to the side where the back doors where and the party noises seemed to be coming from. Hopefully it would all be a little less dramatic out there, not that she minded a little medical drama, sometimes it just couldn't be helped.
Walking across the living room and then stepping outside in the warm Spring time sun, Immy started to wonder again if there would be anyone at this barbecue that she'd know from work. Stepping out of the cool, darker house Immy was blinded by the brightness of the sun for just a moment. She looked about as her eyes adjusted and then scanned the faces close by, hoping she would recognise someone, but she didn't. She supposed there was nothing she could do but jump in and introduce herself. "Hi," She said, stepping forward with a smile. A general greeting before she closed in on someone and kind of forced her awkward presence on them in the hopes of getting to know them enough that she no longer felt awkward. She kind of wished she hadn't come from work because perhaps she could have made some of her grandma's famous paella. It was a good dish for all occasions and her grandmother's recipe was simply the best of all. Immy had practically been raised on it and suited everything from parties to an evening at home with the family, and it was never not a hit! She looked to the barbecue where there was a guy busying himself getting a burger ready and she supposed he was taking care of the meat and she didn't want to interrupt whatever his process was. There was a group over by the pool, looking ready to get in and enjoy themselves, which seemed like a great idea with such brilliant weather, and then there was another couple, one that looked somewhat familiar so she went for it. Somewhat familiar felt preferable to not knowing anyone or disturbing someone's concentration. "Hey," She said with a smile, standing next to the beautiful blonde, "I'm Immy, I work with Leo." She said, looking to the clearly pregnant woman that was dipping her feet in the refreshing pool and then to the cute guy sat beside the blonde she recognised and presumed was the husband of the stunning woman dipping her toes.

Im waited patiently and then spotted Leo popping his head around the corner from outside. She smiled and straightened herself up a little, pleased she'd got the right house and that she wasn't imposing on some poor, unsuspecting family, sitting down, having their Easter Sunday lunch or something. Leo called out and Immy looked about the home, really taking it in because damn! The place was gorgeous. He had a chandelier and Immy wasn't sure why that surprised her because looking at the house it looked like the kind of place that would have had multiple chandeliers all over the place. Still Immy tried not to look like she was snooping too much, she looked back to Leo who asked if she knew Jasper. She did not know a Jasper, although as the guy came in from outside Immy felt as though he looked familiar. She was fairly certain he wasn't a patient but she felt as though she recognised him through work somehow. Well if he was a friend of Leo's then she was sure he'd be decent enough and she didn't mind being seen in by him.
The guy coming to greet her barely got two words out before he took a bit of a tumble, falling up the stairs and doing some kind of weird twist with his body. It all happened far too fast for Immy to register that something was happening but she gasped as she heard his head connect with the floor. It sounded shocking but Immy pulled out her wand and approached Jasper although he was trying to get himself up already. "Try not to move," She told him, then looked towards the back door, "Leo!" She called. Immy looked back to Jasper and saw a gash on his face. "Hold still." She told him before she flicked her wand, healing the cut along the side of his face slowly. He was going to need checking over for a concussion and possibly a dislocated shoulder looking at how he'd landed but at least she'd been able to clear the cut off his head for starters.

Immy stretched out her hand and shook Agent Humbert's. It was her job to help sick people and she didn't need the thanks at all but it was nice to receive it, not everyone was so generous with their thanks these days, as though they were holding back in case they'd need to thank someone a million times over sometime in the near future. "Hope you're feeling better, Ariel." She said with a smile, "Goodbye, sweetheart." She gave a nod to Agent Humbert and the a last smile to the little toddler that would perk up in no time and want to pull her daddy all over the place. There was plenty of time to be making up for, Immy on the other hand has a couple more patients to check on and a few new ones to assess. Her shift was only just beginning but it was sure to be as busy as it always was.
Having exited the room Immy made her way to the Healer's station and switched over the files. She opened up the new file and had a read with a sigh. Honestly, what was peoples obsessions with placing things up their arse? "Shirelle, he should be down in artefacts." She said, holding the file out for the other Healer who just shook her head and then quirked it in the direction of the file, urging Immy to keep reading. Knowing it wasn't going to anything pleasant, Immy prepared herself for the worst and opened the file back up again. Her eyes scanned to where she'd been before and she kept reading the initial report. If she'd been in the staff room she would have sighed or made some kind of noise to signal her displeasure. Immy looked up from the file and looked to Shirelle, "I suppose I'll go introduce myself then." She put on a smile that really didn't want to be there, "And get someone from Artefacts up to deal with the aircraft please." She said, closing the file and heading to her new patient's room.

Life as a Healer was a little unpredictable. There were the strange hours, the strange cases and the strange patients, and that was just the start of it all. Fellow staff could occasionally be inconsiderate while others could be flat out rude. Immy wasn't exactly someone that would let people walk all over her but she did put up with a lot more than the regular witch or wizard might, today's example came from a healer that wanted to be out the door on time and couldn't be bothered with another case. He palmed it off on Immy who acted more than happy to help a fellow Healer out but deep down knew her colleague was taking advantage of her kinder nature. She was keeping track, though, and if this became a regular thing, as in happened again, then she would be putting her foot down on the matter. There was helping someone out and then there was being walked over. Immy wasn't going to let herself be walked over but she would give her colleague the chance to get out on time, even if it meant her missing the start of Leo's barbeque, but he'd understand because he'd been where she was.
Finally clocking out and knowing her patient was in good hands and in a stable condition, Immy headed to the change room. She didn't have time to head home and change and if she did then there was the chance she'd just crash on her sofa and not go at all. Again, Leo would understand if she'd done that but this was the first out of work thing he'd invited her to at his home, mixing with more than just people from work that she already knew. Immy wasn't sure if she'd know anyone at Leo's place today but she got ready and she was looking forward to doing a bit of mingling and maybe making a new friend or two. What harm could it do?
Leaving the hospital Immy summoned the Knight Bus. She'd never been to Leo's place before so had no idea what it looked like which meant no apparating. She had no desire to travel by floo and get her clothes all dirty and she certainly didn't want soot all in her hair. She hadn't set up a portkey because she hadn't known what time she'd be leaving work (she never finished on time) and so the Knight Bus was the only plausible solution left. Unfortunately. Immy found herself tossed about this way and that as the chairs slid across the lower floor of the bus. A few times Immy passed under the chandelier that dangled from the far top of the bus and swayed rather precariously as they went round corners and as the bus squeezed to fit between cars. The muggle world was very busy.
Eventually the bus pulled up at the end of the driveway and Immy gladly got off, relieved that the journey was over and wishing that she'd taken something beforehand for the nausea. She sighed and smoothed her white tee shirt over her flat belly, partially in order to straighten it out a little but mostly to settle her nerves after such a journey. She made her way down the driveway and was in absolute awe at Leo’s home. She wondered if she’d got the right place but she could hear chatter, music and smell the smells of a barbeque. She felt like she was in the right place but there were probably plenty of people having barbecues today, celebrating Easter and what was probably going to be short-lived good weather.
Immy came up to the front door, which was slightly ajar, and knocked. “Hellooo?” She called, letting herself in and seeing straight through to the back where people seemed to be enjoying herself, she took a breath and started walking to where the people were having a grand ol’ time. She couldn’t see Leo so she really hoped she had the right place and wasn’t barging in on anyone’s Easter celebrations uninvited. If she was then she’d offer apology after apology and back out as quickly as possible. She hoped Leo was just out of sight around the other side of the wall or off in the kitchen or something simple, because if she had crashed some family’s Easter, she was going to be super embarrassed.

Immy thought that Ariel was handling the situation tremendously at the moment. A lot of kids she got to treat were usually in fits of tears and it was near impossible to help them in smooth and easy way. Ariel was unsettled but she was unwell so it was to be expected. She was certainly a daddy's girl as she snuggled in against him. "I'm glad to hear it." She said with a smile, hoping this would run smoothly. Immy readied the medicine while Dorian readied Ariel. He managed so sweetly given it was a worrying situation and she was such a tiny human being. It was clear to Immy that this was his first child, he had that worry that parents with other children had lost after their first. Once Immy had the pink syringe ready with potion she double checked the dosage and crouched down in front of Ariel. "Ariel, I've got this very yummy medicine for you." She told the toddler, "It tastes like yummy, yummy sweeties and I promise it will make you feel better very soon." Immy pulled out her wand and created a kaleidoscope of different coloured butterflies that weren't close enough to startle little Ariel, it was amazing how many toddlers were frightful of their fast flapping, despite being such a small and delicate creature.
While Ariel was distracted Immy eased the syringe into Ariel's mouth and trickled the medicine into her mouth. The little darling looked to Immy but took the potion, enjoying its taste. Once the syringe was empty, Immy stood and looked at her watch. Any second now she'd have a little steam coming from her ears that would only last a little while, but would let them know that the potion was starting to work. The butterflies made what looked like a tornado of colour and then the steam started. Immy sighed in relief. "That's it! You're free to head home." She smiled, grabbing a new syringe and the remaining pepperup potion. "If her symptoms are back tomorrow you can give Ariel the remainder of the vial. It tastes like sweet berries so there's usually not an issue in getting the little ones to take it again." She reassured Dorian, placing the potion and the syringe in a white paper bag. Soon Ariel would be feeling much better and both she and her daddy would be able to get some much needed rest.

It had clearly all been a bit much for the poor little darling. She was fussing to the point of crying and while Agent Humbert was indeed pleased that Ariel was showing magic, she was not so impressed. "I'll just get the potion and then you guys will be out of here in no time." She hoped little Ariel wouldn't get too fussy while she was gone but until she had a little potion in her, she was probably going to be extremely uncomfortable and ready for bed, which of course she would fight the urge to sleep because what toddler willing went to sleep?
Immy exited the room and made her way to potions dispensary. "Hey Eunice. Pepperup for under two." An elderly witch looked up from her paperwork, or was that a magazine? She pushed her chair back, her thick glasses that magnified her eyes slipped down her nose a little and she pushed them back up. Eunice stood up and got out of her chair, one of her stockings had a ladder while the other had slipped down around her ankle, her hair was up in an untidy bun and she dawdled around, getting a form and putting it on the counter in front of Immy who began filling it out. The little old woman, who was rather plump around the middle, gave her wand a wave and potions started shifting around. Immy filled out the form and waited as Eunice got the requested potion.
Eunice handed the potion over and Immy checked it out. Eunice gave her a little pipette so she could get the potion into Ariel. It was all wrapped up and Immy headed back to the patient's room. "How're we doing in here?" She asked, pulling the potion from her pocket and setting it on the counter. She then pulled out the pipette out and unwrapped it, placing it down on top of its own wrapping to keep it sterile. She uncorked the potion, triple checking it as she did, knowing you could never be too careful when it came to kids. After Ariel had some Pepperup Potion she'd be cleared up in no time with harmless smoke coming out of her ears. It might look a little alarming to see a child less than two with smoke coming out of her ears but it wouldn't hurt, Ariel would be fine, Immy decided she would stick around for a few moments after administering the potion, just to make sure there was no adverse reaction.

Really it was all a bit much for someone so young to understand that what was going on was for her own good. Immy knew she was nothing but a stranger to this littler girl and so she hoped to make her experience with St Mungo's a positive one. Lots of talking and reassuring from her dad would help a lot and Immy would keep a calm and cheery demeanour. Hugs were especially good, from dad, not Im, but sometimes it was just hard for a kid to find comfort, especially in strange surroundings when there something the matter. Immy empathised with both the kids and the parents when little ones had to make a trip to the hospital. It was never easy seeing someone so small go through anything even remotely unsettling and kids were learning that their bodies weren't invincible. Someone as young as Ariel, however, probably didn't even realise there was anything going on. She might have felt a little off but she wasn't able to express her discomfort in the same way an adult might which could be frustrating all on its own, so to have that while feeling under the weather was really quite a lot for a little one to handle.
"Mmm." She said in response to Dorian, looking up from her notes and nodding, while he went on to mention the girls mother, making it sound as though she was no longer around which was just devastating. So sad for such a little one to have lost a parent. "Based on what I've seen it just looks like Ariel has a common cold." She said, smiling softly, knowing that it wasn't that big of a deal right now and most parents, upon receiving such a diagnosis, usually felt a little foolish for overreacting, but Immy, much like all the other Healers she knew, would much rather a parent being overly vigilant than ignoring symptoms, hoping they'll pass and then finding the child had something mush worse than the sniffles. "Common colds are very simple to treat. I can give Ariel some Pepperup potion for under twos. It'll help clear her up nice and fast. She might experience a little steam from the ears but there shouldn't be any discomfort." She paused for a moment, allowing for everything to sink in for Dorian. Hopefully his worries would be soothed. She'd fetch the potion in just a minute, she had to be sure Dorian was taking in what she was telling him. With a title like Agent she knew not a lot would phase him, but when it involved the health of a loved one, anyone could be shaken, "If she has any reaction at all out of the ordinary, come straight back to us." Immy was confident that Ariel would be fine. Apart from the cold she seemed in perfectly good health, "As for Ariel's hair," She smiled, "I think that might just be her magic making itself known." She was quite young but it wasn't unusual for magic to present this early and typically it would be cause for celebration but she could understand if the handsome Agent Humbert was far from celebratory.

Immy shook the hand of the gentleman who seemed to be a little more old fashioned than she was used to. He used his title and that explained his formality. Im paid attention to the little blonde pixie that wanted to stay with her daddy, It was extremely common for children to need their parental figure when faced with uncertain circumstances, and that wasn't something people outgrew. It was human nature to look for protection and reassurance. She'd seen seventy year old witches and wizards turn to their 90-plus year old parent for support. It was a very pure and very sweet moment to witness, always.
Agent Humbert listed the various reasons for their visit to the hospital today. Immy nodded, making notes with a quill that made her handwriting legible despite her healers scrawl. Without the quill there'd be no hope in magic of reading what she'd written because she simply wrote too fast, her mind raced through the symptoms but honestly, s concerned as Ariel's daddy was, it didn't sound all that serious. Just a cold with few magical side affects. Quite common in magical children and each side affect could vary from child to child. One thing was reassuring for parents with children who exhibited extra symptoms alongside their colds - they were magical. At 18 months it was considered early to show signs of magic but it was certainly something to be proud of, although it wasn't the best way to find out you had magical child! Most parents would prefer finding out without their child getting poorly. "I'll just get a few things for a check up. I'll be back in a minute." She gave a small nod and exited the room, shutting the door behind her. She made her way to the work stations and pulled out a trolley, checking it for all the bits she'd need. She took a few tools and put them into her pockets that were hidden in her dress and placed Ariel's file on the top with a self inking grey quill that she'd make notes with.
Immy made her way back to the room, knocking on the door and letting herself in once more. "I'll just do a check and see what we're dealing with," She smiled, popping on a pair of gloves. She pulled out her otoscope from her trolley, uncapping it and putting on a new head, figuring her ears would be the best place to start. She pulled her wand out and gave it a flourish, a ring of bright blue birds starting chirping and circling overhead to distract the toddler, "I'm just going to check your ears, Ariel." She said, watching the toddler but she wasn't paying attention, she was curled up with her dad and watching the birds fly overhead.
While Ariel was distracted watching the birds Immy pocketed her wand checked Ariel's ears. After, she pulled out her ophthalmoscope and checked Ariel's eyes. They were a little red but mostly clear which was a good sign. Next she had a look in Ariel's mouth while the birds performed little stunts in the air to keep Ariel interested. Her throat was a little inflammed, no doubt from the cold virus she seemed to have, but there seemed nothing untoward or magical. Putting away all her instruments Immy felt around Ariel's neck. She didn't seem to happy about that but there was nothing out of the ordinary so Immy let her go. "Nearly done, sweetheart." She said. Finally she pulled out her stethoscope and listened to Ariel's lungs and heart. Front and back before she straightened herself up and made more notes.

The sound of her alarm clock ringing next to her head was a familiar one. Ever since she was eleven years old she'd had the same alarm clock, a gift from her abuela and abuelo for when she started Hogwarts. She'd been sure to keep it in good shape. It was one of her most prized possessions, not for its worth but for its sentimental value. It was an old alarm clock, it was worth nothing to everyone else in the world, but to Immy it was worth the world. She knew that her grandparents on her mother's side hadn't had much to give and so every time they gave something she was forever grateful. She cherished so many little things from them, things that were only meant to last a short while and things that were meant to last a life time, although nothing was more valuable than her time with them. She liked her alarm clock. It was the one thing she used every day, even on her days off. It was a reminder for her of her family and she couldn't wait for her next visit with them in a couple of months.
Out of bed and into her usual wake up routine Immy went through the motions. There wasn't anything unusual about it apart from the fact she was waking up at two in the afternoon. She'd pulled a double shift at the hospital the day before which had bled into the night, covering the first half of a shift before someone else came in early at four in the morning, and so she'd needed the extra sleep desperately. It didn't matter though, she was going in early again today to cover another half-shift, taking over early from Gayle who'd covered the first half of the shift. There was something going around at work, a nasty little bug that required a good strong potion and a couple of days rest. Immy was glad she had a decent immune system but not everyone was so fortunate.
Dressed and leaving the apartment Immy made her way to work. She was there in next to no time and making her way into the staff room where the big board sat with every patients name, bed and room number. Immy took a file from the head matron, she'd been the one organising all the shifts so that no one would have to pull a full double and Immy was darn pleased to have her figuring everything out because double shifts were awful.
Getting her list of patients Immy had a read of the files and did a handover with the Healer whose patients she was taking. She made her first visit to an elderly gentleman, taking in a pre-made potion for his spattergroit, a highly contagious disease that Immy was protected against with a couple of really good spells. Once she was done she washed up and ready for the next patient. She picked up the file and had a quick skim. Dragon Pox. She got what she needed and made her way into the room, the girl didn't look much younger than herself but her skin was positively covered in the horrid blemishes, her skin green from the rash that was spread all over her body. Immy gave her the next round of treatment and promised to be back in a little while. Leaving the room she went and washed herself once more, being sure not to pass on any of the contagious diseases. Once she was done she moved to the matron's ward desk and picked up the next file. She made her way down the hall and knocked on the door to the private room. Miss Ariel Blackthorn-Humbert. Quite a mouthful, but at 18 months, Immy doubted she was saying her whole name quite yet. After a slight pause Immy let herself in with a smile, "Good afternooon," She said looking from the girls dad and to the little girl before returning her gaze to the father, "I'm healer Fenwick." She said, introducing herself formally first, closing the door behind herself as she did, "But you can call me Immy." She said to the toddler, keeping a friendly face to try and help keep the child as clam as possible and hopefully get her to relax a little, "And what brings Miss Ariel in to us today?" She asked, chatting away to dad but seeming to address the child to keep an air of friendliness about the place.

PERSONALITY Boggart: Seeing her abuelo, dead, her abuela crying over his body, heartbroken beyond comprehension. Mirror of Erised: Spending time with her grandparents on both sides, big family BBQ, Spanish and English mixing and getting on well Patronus: Eagle Owl - returning to Spain to visit her grandparents after her first year at Hogwarts.
Loyal. Hard working. Patient. Friendly. Fair. Honest. Impartial. All traits of a Hufflepuff and every single one describes Immy. She wasn't always what one might call fair or honest for those are traits she's learnt to value over the course of her life, but she has always been a true Hufflepuff at heart. Willing to give everyone a chance, even a second and third chance, she's no stranger to being trodden on, but she's a giver, she lives to help others and while many, many people may mistake her generosity for weakness, there is a stern voice that can emerge when enough becomes enough, often imitating her abuela without meaning to.
As well as the classic Hufflepuff traits, Immy has a few other classic traits from the other houses. She's ambitious, she's daring, she's clever. Choosing to pursue a career as a healer, Immy learnt that she was very good at taking charge of situations, particularly in stressful situations. She is known to be a little pessimistic at times and sometimes her job can get to her, especially losing younger patients, but she holds herself together with her support network of family and friends.

After so long of trying it was hard for Isabela and Benjamin Fenwick to believe that they were pregnant. It had taken them years to conceive their first child but once they had, the small infant couldn't wait to join his parent in the world. Born before his due date Isabela and Benjamin weren't prepared but they had a name picked out, as was Fenwick tradition - Benjamin. Benjamin never fully sat well with Isabela, a strong and independent muggle woman who wanted her say in her children's lives and so Benjamin became Benjy.
Blessed with a child they had wanted for so very long, the couple never expected to fall pregnant again, yet it happened two years later and eventually Imelda was born. Unlike her brother she was not early, she was actually rather late but that was the only time in her life. Isabela stuck to her roots and have her daughter her maternal grandmother's name, with whom she had been very close.
Four years later and Sebastian arrived, another three years and Clara was welcomed to the family. A following three years and Matteo was born. For a couple that thought it was impossible for them to get pregnant, by the grace of God they were given five children. Five children they would love with every fibre of their beings.
Growing up Imelda, or Immy, Im, or even ImIm as she sometimes got called, was never lonely. She helped look after her younger siblings, enjoying their little triumphs in life. Learning to sit, learning to crawl, smushing food into their mouths. To Immy it was a joyous childhood, made even better when they would go to Spain to visit their non-magical family.
Immy loved her visits to Spain. Her parents had jobs in which they were free to travel whenever they pleased. Several times a year they would make the trip to Spain and with all the cousins, aunts and uncles it gave Imelda some of the most positive memories of her life. She never noticed that he extended family were not as well off as them. She spent so much of her time learning to cook from her abuela and learning to duel from her abuelo, that she never noticed how different things were. Apart from the weather, Spain definitely had far better weather than anything back home in Scotland.
At age eleven Immy made her first trip to Hogwarts. Her big brother already knew all the ropes and looked out for her. She was made a Hufflepuff almost the instant the hat was placed on her head and she was beyond proud to have made it into such an energetic and beautiful house. She truly met some of the best people in Hufflepuff house.
Despite loving school and absorbing as much as she possibly could, she missed her family. She often wrote to her family, using her own personal owl, her brother's owl and the school owls to send letters and notes to her family. She loved receiving replies too, and she especially loved the home made treats her abuela would send and the letters from her abuelo, encouraging to keep her fencing skills fresh and to practice as much as possible. Easily said rather than done, but with a few good friends, Immy practiced fencing through her first year.
The first summer holidays home from Hogwarts were a joy. Immy loved Hogwarts but there was nothing better than returning to Spain and being with her family. It soothed her soul, it made her feel whole to be a part of her family once more. She spent her Summer mostly in Spain, playing with her cousins, catching up on what the year had been like and of course cooking with abuel and fencing with abuelo.
The years flew on by. Immy helped her siblings settle in to Hogwarts just as Benjy had done for her. Having her brothers and sister there helped the castle feel more like home but eventually she was leaving for the very last time. She had her sights set on helping people from all walks of life, fixing them up and sending them on their way. She studied to become a Healer and did quite well with it all. She found she had a natural talent for dealing with emergencies, being able to take control of a situation fast and calmly.
Since graduating and landing her desired job Immy has become a permanent fixture in the Magical Bugs and Diseases ward. She not only fences but has dabbled in various forms of fighting. While she is trying to remain impartial against the war that is only building up momentum, she knows she needs to be able to defend herself with more than just a wand. Trying times certainly lay ahead and Immy intends on being prepared.
