PERSONALITY Boggart: Seeing her abuelo, dead, her abuela crying over his body, heartbroken beyond comprehension. Mirror of Erised: Spending time with her grandparents on both sides, big family BBQ, Spanish and English mixing and getting on well Patronus: Eagle Owl - returning to Spain to visit her grandparents after her first year at Hogwarts. Loyal. Hard working. Patient. Friendly. Fair. Honest. Impartial. All traits of a Hufflepuff and every single one describes Immy. She wasn't always what one might call fair or honest for those are traits she's learnt to value over the course of her life, but she has always been a true Hufflepuff at heart. Willing to give everyone a chance, even a second and third chance, she's no stranger to being trodden on, but she's a giver, she lives to help others and while many, many people may mistake her generosity for weakness, there is a stern voice that can emerge when enough becomes enough, often imitating her abuela without meaning to. As well as the classic Hufflepuff traits, Immy has a few other classic traits from the other houses. She's ambitious, she's daring, she's clever. Choosing to pursue a career as a healer, Immy learnt that she was very good at taking charge of situations, particularly in stressful situations. She is known to be a little pessimistic at times and sometimes her job can get to her, especially losing younger patients, but she holds herself together with her support network of family and friends. After so long of trying it was hard for Isabela and Benjamin Fenwick to believe that they were pregnant. It had taken them years to conceive their first child but once they had, the small infant couldn't wait to join his parent in the world. Born before his due date Isabela and Benjamin weren't prepared but they had a name picked out, as was Fenwick tradition - Benjamin. Benjamin never fully sat well with Isabela, a strong and independent muggle woman who wanted her say in her children's lives and so Benjamin became Benjy. Blessed with a child they had wanted for so very long, the couple never expected to fall pregnant again, yet it happened two years later and eventually Imelda was born. Unlike her brother she was not early, she was actually rather late but that was the only time in her life. Isabela stuck to her roots and have her daughter her maternal grandmother's name, with whom she had been very close. Four years later and Sebastian arrived, another three years and Clara was welcomed to the family. A following three years and Matteo was born. For a couple that thought it was impossible for them to get pregnant, by the grace of God they were given five children. Five children they would love with every fibre of their beings. Growing up Imelda, or Immy, Im, or even ImIm as she sometimes got called, was never lonely. She helped look after her younger siblings, enjoying their little triumphs in life. Learning to sit, learning to crawl, smushing food into their mouths. To Immy it was a joyous childhood, made even better when they would go to Spain to visit their non-magical family. Immy loved her visits to Spain. Her parents had jobs in which they were free to travel whenever they pleased. Several times a year they would make the trip to Spain and with all the cousins, aunts and uncles it gave Imelda some of the most positive memories of her life. She never noticed that he extended family were not as well off as them. She spent so much of her time learning to cook from her abuela and learning to duel from her abuelo, that she never noticed how different things were. Apart from the weather, Spain definitely had far better weather than anything back home in Scotland. At age eleven Immy made her first trip to Hogwarts. Her big brother already knew all the ropes and looked out for her. She was made a Hufflepuff almost the instant the hat was placed on her head and she was beyond proud to have made it into such an energetic and beautiful house. She truly met some of the best people in Hufflepuff house. Despite loving school and absorbing as much as she possibly could, she missed her family. She often wrote to her family, using her own personal owl, her brother's owl and the school owls to send letters and notes to her family. She loved receiving replies too, and she especially loved the home made treats her abuela would send and the letters from her abuelo, encouraging to keep her fencing skills fresh and to practice as much as possible. Easily said rather than done, but with a few good friends, Immy practiced fencing through her first year. The first summer holidays home from Hogwarts were a joy. Immy loved Hogwarts but there was nothing better than returning to Spain and being with her family. It soothed her soul, it made her feel whole to be a part of her family once more. She spent her Summer mostly in Spain, playing with her cousins, catching up on what the year had been like and of course cooking with abuel and fencing with abuelo. The years flew on by. Immy helped her siblings settle in to Hogwarts just as Benjy had done for her. Having her brothers and sister there helped the castle feel more like home but eventually she was leaving for the very last time. She had her sights set on helping people from all walks of life, fixing them up and sending them on their way. She studied to become a Healer and did quite well with it all. She found she had a natural talent for dealing with emergencies, being able to take control of a situation fast and calmly. Since graduating and landing her desired job Immy has become a permanent fixture in the Magical Bugs and Diseases ward. She not only fences but has dabbled in various forms of fighting. While she is trying to remain impartial against the war that is only building up momentum, she knows she needs to be able to defend herself with more than just a wand.
