 Yeah, there was a funky singer playing in a rock and roll band Half an hour later and the lads were well into it. The beer was going down a treat, and they'd won a game of pool each. Raph was laughing through his words as he finished the story he'd been telling Lucian about the concert in France. "-and ye know me, I don't speak a word of French, so we drove in circles around Paris while I tried to pronounce the name of my bleedin' hotel. He took me to the wrong hotel twice before we figured it out." He sipped his beer happily as he recalled the tale of getting lost on the way back to his hotel. The driver had been pretty patient with him, he had to admit, but Raph had learned a lesson when he'd realised how much the long-winded journey would cost. Learn French! Or get a bloody translator, it probably would have been cheaper than the taxi ride. "Ye speak French, don't ye?" he asked Loosh, unable to remember. He knew one of his mates could get around Paris without much trouble, but Raph couldn't remember for the life of him which one. Loosh had a good education, it could have been him. "Come and be my translator next time we're over there," he laughed, picking up the pitcher of beer and filling both their glasses again. "Ye can bring yer lad, introduce him to the rockstar lifestyle early." He didn't know when the band would be back in France, it could be months or years until their next gig there, but friends were always welcome to tag along and enjoy the ride. "Speaking of, when do I get to meet the fruit of your loins?" he asked, attempting to pot a ball and missing. He held the cue out to Lucian, thinking it was time to meet the son of one of his closest friends. Raph knew he was away a lot, and missed out on a lot of big events in people's lives, but he would always try and make an effort once he was back home. Welcome to Owl Lodge
This home has been in the Hookum family for many, many years, and is quite
beautiful, if not a bit quirky to look at. From the multiple balconies,
patios and wild flowers surrounding the building, it also boasts the most
beautiful magical staircases that light up in the dark and run through the
whole lodge.
Entrance
The entrance to the lodge is through a stunning tunnel of beautiful brick.
Inside, there are balconies everywhere, overlooking the main living room.
Main living area
The main living area is the first place you come to when you enter the lodge.
It has a large fireplace, surrounded by couches. The main dining table is off
to one side, and the entrance to the kitchen can be seen at the far end. This
room is amazing for playing music, the acoustics are second to none.
Smaller living room
There is a smaller living room on the second floor, again with a stunning
fireplace and views of the river outside.
Kitchen
The main kitchen leads off of the main living area, and is spacious and
gleaming. Raph is an average cook, and he orders takeout most of the time,
which is why this room looks so clean compared to the rest of the house.
Smaller kitchen
Again, up on the second floor is an extra kitchen near the second living
room. It is small, and usually messy thanks to Raph's mates preferring it
in here to the giant kitchen downstairs.
Bar
There is a bar on the second floor, which is usually trashed, but well stocked.
Game room
The games room is on the second floor, connected to the bar, and has a pool
table which has to be magically repaired a lot because people seem to like
to whack it with cues for fun when they're drunk.
Cinema
Down in the basement is a small cinema, with a kitchenette next door to make
popcorn and drinks, and a small bathroom so you don't have to run upstairs
for a loo break. Raph loves it in here, and spends a lot of time watching
home videos and recordings of The Hook concerts, as well as movies.
Office
The office is a place of great mess and paperwork in random places. Raph tries
his best to keep the important stuff in order, like contracts and the like,
but there's fan mail strewn about on desks, and letters galore just waiting
to be looked at or put away properly.
Stairs
The stairs of the house are probably one if its best features. They magically
light up in the dark, and run through the entire house like that, as well as
outside.
Lift
Really bloody handy for when you're palatic drunk and don't want to kill yourself
falling down staircases. Aside from that, hardly used because it's slower.
Halls
The halls upstairs are quirky and overlook the lower level at random points.
Raph's bedroom
One of the larger rooms in the house, Raph chose this one simply because when
he wakes up he can just throw on some clothes, open the balcony door, and go
straight down the stairs and apparate to wherever he needs to be. It's the only
bedroom with access to the outside staircase. Everyone else has to go through
the house to get outside. Yes, he can be a lazy bugger.
Raph's bathroom
Look at those magical twinkling lights over the bath tub. What more could you
want in a bathroom?
Spare bedrooms
Five other bedrooms are dotted around the lodge, all comfy and well used by
Raph's mates. Don't expect any of them to actually look this tidy. In fact,
don't expect any of the house to look this tidy, really.
Bathrooms
Again, there are five other bathrooms around the lodge. Take your pick.
Outside
The outside of the lodge is busy. Busier than the inside, probably. With
balconies that house jacuzzi's, tables, barbeques, and benches, and patios
right next to the river, there's a lot to explore, and a lot to enjoy.

Raph here is the front man of Wizarding band The Hook. He is also the biggest, bestest brother to three younger siblings. Twins, Daisy and Eleni, and Will, the baby of the family. They are from Ireland, and are purebloods, though their family doesn't follow elitist ways. They're a good family. Their mum runs a bakery, their dad owns a restaurant, so they have a fair amount of money, but they're not spoiled by any means. Will is the youngest Hookum sibling, has been out of Hogwarts for almost a year now. He was a Gryffindor and pretty cool. He has recently joined Raph's band The Hook as their drummer (a position that was saved for once he graduated last summer). He obviously is very musical, and plays the drums like a demon, but everything else about him is up to you. He also has a history with the lovely London Nerissa James , and the two were very much in love when she was at Hogwarts, so there's a romance plot for him. Will and Lola got back together after he graduated, they were separated for a year and a half, meaning there could be wiggle room for dramas to be dragged up from when they were apart if that's what you're into. XD Name is set in stone, face is because he has a lot of gifs and pics with Alexandra Daddario, but you can choose another face if you want to, just stick with dark hair and blue eyes. Yeah, there was a funky singer playing in a rock and roll band The tavern was busy, as was fitting for a Friday night, and Raph seemed to be the first there. He'd agreed to meet Lucian for a few pints and a catch up, but had apparently been a tad overeager. Never mind. There were plenty of people there to keep him company, and Raph could talk to most people without too much fuss. He wore a simple t-shirt and jeans, his leather jacket slung over his arm as he chatted happily to a lad he'd just met twenty minutes ago. Frank? He thought it was Frank, but it could have been Fred or something similar, he wasn't the best with names. Anyway, Frank was a mechanic, and had offered to give Raph's car a magical tune up for a cheap price one day next week. He seemed like a top bloke, and they'd exchanged numbers. There hadn't even been a mention of Raph being famous, which just made him like Frank even more. Anonymity was hard to come by these days. The bromance was going swimmingly until Raph spotted a gorgeous blonde across the bar. He watched as Goldilocks ordered a pitcher of beer and grinned. Just his type. Even better, the pool table was being set up. He had no choice, he had to make eye contact, and to his delight he got a little nod of encouragement in return. He excused himself from Frank's company, giving the lad a quick hug and at least ten pats on the back as they took a while to say goodbye and promised at least four times that they'd keep in touch, and that Raph really would take his car in. Of course he would, he loved a good discount and his car had seen better days if he was honest, he didn't have the time to look after it like he should have. He crossed the bar with a grin on his face, blue eyes twinkling as he approached the blonde. "Alright, gorgeous," he greeted, pointing to the pitcher of beer. "Pour us a drink and I'll show you a good time." He winked. Stared. Flirted for a few more seconds before bursting into laughter and embracing Lucian Burke with a bear hug. "Looshy Bear," he said into Lucian's overly muscled shoulder, pulling away and examining his old friend with a critical eye. "You don't look like you've just had a babe," he said. "You've got your figure back already." There were a few shadows here and there on Lucian's face, but he supposed tiny people made you tired. It had been a while since they'd seen each other, and having a baby was a pretty big change in a person's life, Loosh looked like he was coping well with it on the outside. Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars "This better be a private floor!" Raph bellowed as he burst through the door of the suite Rodolphus had told him to meet everyone in. He was out of breath, and glanced over his shoulder, hooking his thumb in the general direction of the elevators he had just ran from. "I've just been cornered in the lift by fifteen teenage girls," he said, leaning his hands on his knees as he caught his breath, not giving one hoot who was in the room and listening. He'd seen two Lestrange faces, and that was enough to make him feel comfortable. "You told me I was barely recognisable without me get up!" He pointed an accusatory finger at Rodolphus, them indicated his clothing, which was a far cry from the outfits he wore on stage with his band. The Hook dressed up for the public eye, there was always lots of leather and jewellery and makeup, tons of makeup. He had on a bit of eyeliner at the moment, but he looked like any normal bloke walking down the strip compared to what he'd looked like on stage last night. "You feckin' eejit."He stood upright, having spotted the bar, where blondie had just poured himself a scotch. Raph passed him with a friendly nod. "Love the ponytail, mate," he said as he grabbed a bottle of whiskey from the bar and poured himself a hefty glass full. "I used to have one a few years ago," he went on as he pulled himself up on a stool, determined to chill the fuck out after posing for pictures with a bunch of swooning little girls. He'd pulled as many funny faces as he could manage just to be a thorn in their side, but they had seemed to enjoy it more than anything, and the giggles intensified. He had broken into a run as soon as he'd reached the right floor, and hadn't looked back. "It caught on fire," he went on, remembering how quickly his whole head had gone up with a stray spark from one of the stage fireworks they used. "Got rid of it after that." He did like having longer hair, but he'd learned his lesson about ponytails that day. PERSONALITY Boggart: A booing crowd, a broken guitar, and loneliness. Failure. It would shatter him, and he would not know how to pick up the pieces of his life and start anew.
Mirror of Erised: He would see himself as he is now, successful, forging ahead with his career and his band, his little brother beside him, adoring fans, endless muse for songwriting, money, travel. If he were to look deeper into the image, he might see a woman standing in the crowds, someone special, someone who has captured his heart. He doesn't know that he wants that yet, but she would undoubtedly be there, however subtle.
Patronus: Squirrel Monkey - Raph can produce a Patronus, and the memory he uses to conjure it is all of the time his granddad spent with him as a kid, teaching him to play guitar. That skill is now his life, and those memories are so precious to him. He is forever thankful.
Raph is the ultimate flirt, a cheeky chappie, and someone with wiles for miles. He knows what to say and how to say it to charm the birds from the trees, and yes, that does make him a bit of a man whore. He likes to have fun and live life to its fullest, and sometimes tries really daft things just to say he's tried them. Living gives him so much muse for songwriting, and that is how he makes his living, so he has no intention of stopping and calming his life down. He likes to be free and have a laugh, and tries his best not to pass up on any opportunities life throws his way.
He's got the backbone to make a success of himself, he was not a Hufflepuff for nothing. At his core lies loyalty and a steadfast nature that helps him stay his course. He is true to others, and more importantly, true to himself. Though he likes a bit of wordplay and banter, he is at his core a morally good man. He always does the right thing, and he always does what's right for himself and his family above others. I suppose you could call that loyal, but only to those who earn it. If you do him a favour or a kindness, he won't forget it, and will try and repay it at some point down the line if he can.
He has a big heart, but at the moment it is buried in his work. He lives to perform, to sing and play his guitar on stage in front of huge crowds. He dedicates himself so much to his creative pursuits that he hasn't yet stopped and thought about other levels of his life. What about love? What about a family? He wouldn't turn those things away if they came to him. He would, in fact, welcome true love with open arms and embrace it fully, if the right woman were to capture his heart. And though he has never considered himself the paternal type, he would do his absolute best by any child that found its way into his life.

"That's because it was boring. I didn't have one of those childhoods filled with disaster and drama. There were no dead uncles up to dodgy dealings, no bickering parents who hated each other."
You're lucky, then.
"So I've been told. I'm the eldest of four, it sometimes felt like a battlefield but that's sibling rivalry for yeh, it hardly counts for anything."
Tell me a bit about your siblings.
"I thought you wanted to know about me."
*cheeky chuckle*
"I've got two sisters and a brother. The girls are twins, real double trouble though they're no trouble at all. I see to that. Someone once called our Daisy "Hooker" instead of Hookum. I've hexed a guy or two in the crown jewels over the years for her and Eleni. My brother is Will, he's still at Hogwarts doing us all proud. He'll be joining the band once he graduates, he plays the drums like a demon. Me mam casts silencing charms on his bedroom at home to block out the noise but he's coming along a right dream."
It sounds like you all get along pretty well.
"We do. Like I said, no dramas for our family. We're a good lot."
You said your brother is still at Hogwarts, how was your time at school? You were a Hufflepuff, yes?
"Aye, I was a Hufflepuff. The hat told me a few things about my character that day that I'll never forget. I carry in me loyalty and truth, apparently, and a strong moral compass. I have to agree to a certain extent, but I do have a naughty side, which I'm sure you already know."
I've read a few articles. Is it true you once almost married a Russian actress you had only just met when you were drunk on tour?
"Every word of it. I'd only just met her, but she was a right stunner, the wedding night would have been something to remember, only me mates dragged me away at the last minute."
I'm sure there are plenty of girls out there who are grateful to those mates.
"Are you one of them?"

I asked them if they wanted to form a group in our fourth year, and the rest, as they say, is history. We went through a couple of member changes, and more than a few name changes before we got to where we are now, but it made school fun."
And what subjects did you like?
"I could make a mean love potion."

"Potions. Astronomy. I like looking at the stars, it gives me inspiration to write songs. I'm pretty good at Charms, as well, like."
I bet you are.
"I'm happy to give you a demonstration any time."
So you left school and decided to pursue a career in music straight away?
"No, I worked at me mam's bakery for a few months before I burned the kitchen down and she fired me. Then I tried my hand at an office job in the Ministry, but it bored the shite out of me, honestly. I need more stimulation than that."
What kind of stimulation?
"Life! Living every day to the full, taking chances, daring to make risky choices and follow your gut. It's so worth it, even when you get yourself in a pickle in dodgy situations, there's always a way out, and you feel invigorated afterwards. There's nothing like it."
What dodgy situations?
"Oh, you know, just run o'the mill things like being drugged by an overenthused fan and waking up tied to a chair in a hotel room. Don't look so horrified love, she was young, she forgot to take my wand, I got out of that one pretty easily. Needless to say, I didn't marry her, despite all of her posters declaring her love for me."
You've never been married at all, have you. What about love? Have there been any special ladies in your life that you've fallen for?
"No, but I'm always open to it. You never know who's gonna walk into your life and hit you like a sack of shite. Sorry, a sack of potatoes. My job, touring with the band, it presents a lot of... opportunities, let's call them. But I've never been in love. Sad, isn't it."

"Young, but experienced."

So the band is nine years old now, and still going strong. Any plans to go solo any time soon?
"Not at all. The Hook is named after me, and my brother will be joining, I won't be abandoning them any time soon. Or at all. That's not my style. We made it big together and we'll keep it that way."

"Hufflepuff, remember?"

"Well that depends if I'm signing your bra or your knickers after this, but I'm usually careful, so kids aren't likely unless you ask very nicely."
