Owl LodgeLodge Wexford, Ireland In the beautiful countryside of Wexford, Ireland, sits this stunning lodge owned by rock star Raphael Caspian Hookum . It is secluded enough for the regular noise and music to not bother any neighbours, and off the beaten path, making it hard for fans to find. Raph lives here alone, though his band mates call it their second home, and practically live here, too. Aside from the stunning staircase which magically lights up at night, the lodge consists of multiple lounge areas, two kitchens, two dining areas, 6 bedrooms and bathrooms to match, an office, bar, games room, cinema, jacuzzi, and beautiful balconies galore, with views to die for. A river runs alongside the house, providing a peaceful trickle of background music wherever you are in the home.  |

Welcome to Owl Lodge
This home has been in the Hookum family for many, many years, and is quite
beautiful, if not a bit quirky to look at. From the multiple balconies,
patios and wild flowers surrounding the building, it also boasts the most
beautiful magical staircases that light up in the dark and run through the
whole lodge.
Entrance
The entrance to the lodge is through a stunning tunnel of beautiful brick.
Inside, there are balconies everywhere, overlooking the main living room.
Main living area
The main living area is the first place you come to when you enter the lodge.
It has a large fireplace, surrounded by couches. The main dining table is off
to one side, and the entrance to the kitchen can be seen at the far end. This
room is amazing for playing music, the acoustics are second to none.
Smaller living room
There is a smaller living room on the second floor, again with a stunning
fireplace and views of the river outside.
Kitchen
The main kitchen leads off of the main living area, and is spacious and
gleaming. Raph is an average cook, and he orders takeout most of the time,
which is why this room looks so clean compared to the rest of the house.
Smaller kitchen
Again, up on the second floor is an extra kitchen near the second living
room. It is small, and usually messy thanks to Raph's mates preferring it
in here to the giant kitchen downstairs.
Bar
There is a bar on the second floor, which is usually trashed, but well stocked.
Game room
The games room is on the second floor, connected to the bar, and has a pool
table which has to be magically repaired a lot because people seem to like
to whack it with cues for fun when they're drunk.
Cinema
Down in the basement is a small cinema, with a kitchenette next door to make
popcorn and drinks, and a small bathroom so you don't have to run upstairs
for a loo break. Raph loves it in here, and spends a lot of time watching
home videos and recordings of The Hook concerts, as well as movies.
Office
The office is a place of great mess and paperwork in random places. Raph tries
his best to keep the important stuff in order, like contracts and the like,
but there's fan mail strewn about on desks, and letters galore just waiting
to be looked at or put away properly.
Stairs
The stairs of the house are probably one if its best features. They magically
light up in the dark, and run through the entire house like that, as well as
outside.
Lift
Really bloody handy for when you're palatic drunk and don't want to kill yourself
falling down staircases. Aside from that, hardly used because it's slower.
Halls
The halls upstairs are quirky and overlook the lower level at random points.
Raph's bedroom
One of the larger rooms in the house, Raph chose this one simply because when
he wakes up he can just throw on some clothes, open the balcony door, and go
straight down the stairs and apparate to wherever he needs to be. It's the only
bedroom with access to the outside staircase. Everyone else has to go through
the house to get outside. Yes, he can be a lazy bugger.
Raph's bathroom
Look at those magical twinkling lights over the bath tub. What more could you
want in a bathroom?
Spare bedrooms
Five other bedrooms are dotted around the lodge, all comfy and well used by
Raph's mates. Don't expect any of them to actually look this tidy. In fact,
don't expect any of the house to look this tidy, really.
Bathrooms
Again, there are five other bathrooms around the lodge. Take your pick.
Outside
The outside of the lodge is busy. Busier than the inside, probably. With
balconies that house jacuzzi's, tables, barbeques, and benches, and patios
right next to the river, there's a lot to explore, and a lot to enjoy.
