Order of the phoenix application
Connection to the Order: James is badass and just connected to everyone all the time? Wait, that sounds gross, there are quite a few people he doesn't want to be... connected to. *ahem* So! There's this great old bloke called Dumbledore, and James just happened to be the apple of his eye all through school, despite being a bit of a brat in his early years. It turns out old Dumbles saw something promising in young James and decided that the fire in his belly would be very handy for his little secret club, The Order of the Phoenix. James was invited. Personally. By the big man himself. (He's not sure whether that big is earned, he's never seen Dumbledore's junk. Honestly.) Lots of connection-ness! Look at it all!
Useful Skills: Extremely handsome. Brave in the face of any and all danger. Fearless, actually. Absolutely fearless. Mighty. Have you seen those muscles? They're not as big as that Malfoy prats but they're there! He'll show you! Bloody brilliant at school, rocked the hell out of Transfiguration and Potions and Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, and, actually not so much at History of Magic, but freaking fantastic at Herbology! And he's a bloody animagus! An illegal one, mind, so keep your trap shut about that. He's handsome. Did I mention that already? His mates are the best, don't mess with them. He's loyal. Fierce. Determined. Oh! He can out-fly most people on a broom! Don't ever attack him when there's a broom nearby, he'll kill you from above with a rain of poisonous frogs. Be warned. Overall, definitely someone you want on your team, no wonder Dumbles was begging the lad.
Useful Affiliations: Has at one point peed beside a Death Eater, without knowing said man was a Death Eater, but he was there, if he'd have had the knowledge he could have kicked the guy's arse. Literally. It was on show. Very useful affiliation there. Knows a werewolf who can bite people's heads off with a yawn. Errrm...
Why join the Order of the Phoenix? Let's try and chop this down to just two hundred words, shall we. (Rude putting a limit on it.) James wants to be on the winning side of this war. Not only that, he wouldn't mind the glory that comes with being someone who was known for kicking the arse of some serious bad guys. I mean, the Order is all hush hush, but among the ranks of the Order, he wouldn't mind some admiring glances. The biggest reason he wants to join this fight, though, is obviously because he's a good person. He can't stand the thought of anyone just being able to sit back and allow this Voldemort idiot to unleash such horrors on the world. How they just sit there and do nothing to stop it? It makes no sense to him. The drive to fight, to stand up against evil is so strong in him, that he really can't ignore it, and anyone that does turn a blind eye needs a pretty big wake up call, as far as he's concerned. His family is right there by his side when it comes to this (his family being Lily, Sirius, Remus, and Peter), and he is proud as punch of how much strength and bravery they are all willing to show. He will stop at nothing to bring an end to Voldemort's bid for power.
