PERSONALITY Boggart: Would be the dead body of her younger brother who she is extremely close too. Mirror of Erised: She would see her fashion line, in stores all across the world and her rich with money and influence. Patronus: Peacock- The happiest memory for Celeste would have to be when she made a wedding dress when she was 13 with her grandmother, it was to be her wedding dress for her dream wedding. Celeste still has this dress magically preserved awaiting to wear for the fairytale wedding she has always wanted. Celeste is an independent, strong, cunning, ambitious, and personable lady. She has spent her life growing up being taught that hard work will be earned with great rewards and has always gone with that motto. She expects to have the best of everything in the world from the best shoes, and tops to the best house, the best broomstick, even down to whatever lipstick she is using for the day. However; while she expects this stuff she also realizes she must give it to herself and not expect anyone to ever take care of her. She refuses to marry someone just too be their maid or servant and give them an heir, she expects more. She is willing to become a partner with someone for life in marriage but only with someone who recognizes she won’t be bossed around and that she is an equal. She is a loyal friend and will not backstab a friend ever unless she had to for no other reason. Ambition is a key motivation in Celeste’s life, from her career to everything she does. She has big dreams and plans for her life and is always planning them out step by step. She refuses to accept a compromise on her goals and will do anything to achieve them, within her own moral code. Celeste has a moral code different from most people, killing is ok in her mind with a good reason not just for some fun. She believes loyalty must be repaid with loyalty in return, and that if someone saves her life she owes them a debt despite whoever they are. Celeste is extremely personable, despite coming off as a blunt ass bitch sometimes. She makes the time to check in with friends she hardly sees, to always see how a friend’s family is doing, and anyone else that isn’t close to her but serve a purpose. She is a very persuasive and charismatic woman, but she is also very blunt and refuses to sugar coat anything. She has a very strict realistic view of the world that other people don’t accept. She sees working and interacting with half-bloods as necessary, she privately questions what the war will achieve except spilling magical blood, including the blood of purebloods, she also is willing to sell her designs to half-bloods and etc seeing it as still money no matter what. Celeste while seemingly perfect she is untrustworthy, fearful of commitment, stubborn as a mule, and has a nasty temper. She regularly finds herself lacking a social life at times as she obsesses with her work and other aspects of her life. She fears tying herself down to one guy, is afraid to get close to a lot of people and trust them, and she refuses to admit when she is wrong even if she knows it. With the lifestyle, she grew up with, and with her natural skills in academic, Quidditch and now fashion design, Celeste is a real snob and a materialistic diva. She needs the most expensive art and furniture for her place. Her ego is always ten times the size of anyone’s ego considering she thinks she basically is the best in her fields of work, study, and interests. Born in America specifically New York City, New York, on January 1st, 1949 Celeste Olympia Rose Fontaine was born into the Fontaine family. An influential pure-blood wizarding family that resided in America, the family first was established in France but emigrated to America centuries ago. Celeste’s grandmother Celine Ann Marie Fontaine was a famous French Fashion designer who from threw the world of fashion onto a young Celeste every time she saw her. Celeste from young age was close with her grandmother and loved designing and making clothes with her. Esther her mother was a Philanthropist who ran her own charity that helped support Ilvermorny School in North America and various business in the magical community. Malo her father was an American diplomat working as a member of the International Confederation of Wizards. Her mother was absolutely thrilled to have a daughter since they had already had two sons, while her dad wished she had been another son instead. When she was just five years old her mother gave birth to another girl, Valerie which made her father even more furious at his wife for not giving him another son. In 1956 her dad was appointed as the MACUSA Ambassador to the Japanese Ministry, meaning the family was to move and live in Japan with their father. Just a month or so after arriving her mother gave birth to her last child, and Celeste’s youngest brother Iye. Celeste attended the Japanese Magical school Mahoutokoro but only for the day. It was a strange aspect being so young and living in a country filled with people speaking a completely different language. Her father fluent in the language took considerable time to help his kids adapt by working with them personally or hiring various tutors to help them learn the culture, language, and customs of their new home. Celeste attended Mahoutokoro thought her entire academic career, and during her tenure, she showed natural talent in Quidditch like most of the school’s students. The practices above the rough stormy Sea of Japan had helped improve her natural talent into more experienced skill. She excelled in all her classes being among those of the student body’s who robes turned gold to show her top marks. She favored Charms, COMC, and Herbology mainly. In 1969 at the age of 20, she tried out for a Chaser position for Toyohashi Tengu, a successful Japanese Pro Quidditch team. She impressed the captain by being young and showing amazing skill and natural talent standing out with various moves that distracted the Keeper and let her score. She was placed on the team and quickly grew a reputation for being an aggressive Chaser, fiercely competitive, but also a good sport all around. She was arraigned to marry Kenji Sato in 1974 who belonged to a wealthy pureblood Japanese family thus keeping the bloodline pure and giving her father even more connections in his new job as the Sato family was a major political family. However, the Sato family had many enemies with some willing to take violent measures. On July 15th, 1974 the day of the wedding, a group of wizards aligned with a political opposition of the Sato family and Malo’s policies and posture as an outsider invading Japan. The wedding descended into chaos as Malo, Celeste’s dad, was killed by the attackers. Her younger sister Valerie was also killed, along with her fiancée who died trying to protect Celeste. Celeste’s mom and her older siblings escaped separately while she escaped with her younger brother trying to find a way out of Japan or somewhere safe. On that night they ran into a young married couple on a honeymoon of traveling, a half-blood witch and a muggle. They helped provide shelter to them at their hotel and arranged to have them travel to America with them as well the next day. Despite Celeste’s pure-blood purist views and the history of her family, she is forever thankful for the muggle and the young witch(Aurelie Evaine Sage )who didn’t think twice about providing protection to her and her younger brother. Celeste moved to Britain shortly after the death of her fiancée, dad, and younger sister. Her arranged fiancée was not someone romantic to her, but she grieved for him for his death to defend her, her dad she had no love for, and her sister was always a brat. She became a Chaser for the Falmouth Falcons in 1975, gaining fame with helping to lead the team to more victories, and embracing the team’s motto of “ Let us win, but if we cannot win, let us break a few heads”. She gained public attention when she publicly shot down an offer to be Captain of the Holyhead Harpies blasting the team “for giving me a position but then telling me who I can and can’t place on the team, meaning only women. I don’t need a handout cause I’m a woman I’ll play with the men and kick their asses.” Celeste’s grandmother had always begged her to take over the fashion line or come work with her, but Celeste wished to play Quidditch still. Her grandmother passed away October 21st, 1976 leaving her fortune and the entirety of the Fontaine fashion line to Celeste. Celeste received the news of her passing after winning a match against a team from Ireland. The line went dead for several months as Celeste focused on her career as pro-quidditch player wanting to be Captain of the team, leaving friends & associates of her grandmother distraught. After much guilt Celeste left the team in April 1978, deciding to focus full time on re-launching her grandmother’s fashion line with a fall fashion reveals that year. The Fontaine fashion line relaunched that year at a Fall Fashion show in Paris due to help of several contacts. With interest in some of her pieces, and requests she keeps going Celeste used her grandmother’s inheritance to purchase a fashion shop in Whimsical Alley in November of 1978. The boutique currently sells high-end elegant clothing for both men and women, as well as promoting the new Fontaine fashion line from Celeste Fontaine. She also sells pieces from other designers and is willing to make various gowns or wedding dress for people. Celeste is currently focused on restoring the fashion line back to its original prime-time glory under her grandmother’s tenure and in hopefully finding someone to marry but for love. While she is a supporter of the Dark Lord and his movement, she has been reluctant to join the DE's a formal member because she feels the war is futile and why her talents should be wasted on such a fight that just spills magical blood. However; she's still willing to join if she feels she is needed.
